Mandy has great communication and from the start was honest and relaxed with sit people staying in her home. The cats beans Leroy and Biggleswere very well trained although I had two presents given me a bird and a mouse. The garden was beautiful, friendly neighbours, good parking and excellent instructions
Staying at Macarena and Leo's was just what we needed! Their cozy apartment was perfect for us, and we really enjoyed hanging out on the patio in the evenings. Barrio Italia is such a cool neighborhood with tons of great food spots and shops. Royal Guard restaurant was a favorite of ours, and there's always something fun to do nearby, like hiking or checking out the zoo. Macarena made sure everything was clean and ready for us, and her rundown the night before was super helpful. Now, let's talk about Leo. What a sweetheart! She's all independent during the day but turns into a cuddle monster at night. We loved having her snuggle up with us and giving her morning head scratches. Overall, staying with Macarena and Leo felt like crashing at a friend's place. Can't wait to do it again sometime!
This was a terrific first sit! Michelle was so warm and welcoming .Sonny loved on me immediately , very well behaved , doesn't jump or bark at you upon entering. Home was nice and clean . Kitty Bean was as cats are ,skittish .I played games with her and these two were my Velcro companions . Sonny slept on bed with me and Bean did her drive by visits in the dark on the bed to see if I was sleeping . Both house trained . Best litter box Ive seen( pellets with pee pad pull out drawer ) .And how Sonny would give one paw tap on patio window when he was ready to come back inside. He loved his walks , not a reactive dog . Really good dog to enjoy walks . Thank you Michelle ! and so nice to meet your daughter .
We enjoyed our sit for Rachel, who is a lovely person and excellent communicator. The home is clean, comfortable, roomy and well equipped for us to feel at home. The location is great - a close walk or drive to everything we needed, including the train to NYC! Rachel recommended a wonderful health food store around the block, which we visited a few times! The cats, including a new foster, are pretty easy to care for. Gambit is quite independent and very chatty, letting you know when he is hungry or wants to go outside. Stevie is curious, sweet and affectionate and likes to play and snuggle, often sleeping on our bed. Mai tai is very skittish and mostly stayed hidden, coming out for meals. We were a little nervous taking the cats outside even with leashes, but miraculously they actually stay close and don’t try to escape and even come back inside easily. Happy to recommend for cat lovers
matthew and claudia were so kind in offering me a nice long weekend with sweet angel kitty shiso. she was such an easy kitty - always knew when feeding time was (a built in alarm) and a great companion to sit on the back porch and read a book in a classic summertime savannah mid day storm. thanks for sharing your beautiful home and making everything so easy!! <3
I had a fantastic time with Jersey and Dodge! Dodge is super cute and very affectionate. We would cuddle all the time and even sleep together (with Jersey in the corner). He followed me everywhere and made sure I was nearby :) Jersey is a real energy ball. She loves to play fetch (all the time LOL) so she kept me active throughout the day. Both dogs are very well-behaved and they were so much fun to be around. I walked them twice a day, late morning and late afternoon, and we played a bit in the garden when it wasn't snowing. Alyssa and Toby have a beautiful house. It's EXTREMELY spacious with very modern decor. Their kitchen has everything you need to cook and bake and they have very speedy wifi. The supermarket is only a 10-minute walk from the house and this is a very calm and safe area. Communicating with Alyssa and Toby was really easy and expectations were straightforward. I would HIGHLY recommend petsitting for Alyssa and Toby. I guarantee you will fall in love with both, Jersey and Dodge. I miss them already.

Playful Pups is a phenomenal facility and the staff members truly care about your dog and want to make sure they have a good time while you’re away. Seeing daily posts on Facebook of what your dog is up to gave us comfort while we were away. We needed last minute care for our pittie as our dog sitter had an injury and wasn’t able to watch him. Playful pups was able to accommodate him last minute and understood he had never stayed away from home or with someone he didn’t know. He had been dropped off to us when he was a year old and the owner never came back for him. We feared he would think we were abandoning him like he was before which made this that much more difficult for us. They called with an update and said he seemed nervous at first with all the noise from other dogs as he wasn’t use to it but they recognized that and moved him into a “quiet” room and had the same staff members care for him everyday. Once they did that he flourished under their care. They understand dogs and can read how they feel and take it upon themselves to adjust any needs to ensure your dog is comfortable. I had vowed years ago never to kennel my dogs again due to how my previous pittie was after a week long stay at a different kennel where he didn’t eat and looked sad and sickly when we picked him up. I will most definitely board Ace again at playful pups in the future. When we picked him up he was happy and full of excitement. Great facility and amazing staff members. We can’t say enough good things about them, especially to Morgan, Haley, Alexis and Scotty for the pictures and extra love you gave to Ace for us 🥰🥰
Our gal Monica, the timid and skitzy bloodhound, had her first overnight stay at Playful Pups Retreat at the Milton Grove location and we are impressed! Monica had a wonderful time and did not miss out on any loving while we were away! She was giving all of the staff hugs and kisses when we came to pick her up, so we know she felt safe and loved. This is my first time boarding my 9 month old dog Bennett and although I’ve boarded other dogs at other locations, this experience was fantastic. Not only did my dog come out smelling lovely from his bath, but the customer service was top-notch, and he got home and there was none of that, crazy behavior that I had experienced with other dogs. He was calm, happy and I loved seeing the pictures of him on his nature walks. He goes to Playful Pups for doggy daycare and training and I feel the experience at both locations is always consistently fantastic. I never have concerns leaving my dog with these groups of amazing individuals.
Playful Pups is fantastic - 10 stars! We have tried other facilities and this is our favorite for doggie daycare. Our high energy springer spaniel puppy always comes home well worn out, and is never mysteriously dirty, sticky or smelly (problems we had at other places!). The pricing is transparent, and the electronic management for booking daycare, overnight boarding and other services is very clear and easy to use. The staff are kind and communicate well - I particularly like being able to text and receiving prompt response. The pricing is slightly higher than other comparable facilities, however, I really do not mind paying the bit more because Playful Pups provides a quality care for my pup!!
I shared a positive review after our very first day in Puppy Social Skills. It’s been almost two months now and I’d like to add that I can’t say enough positive comments about the experience. The staff I have interacted with are friendly, professional, and very helpful. You can tell they really love the dogs. My puppy love, love, loves to go! I started boarding my dog Onyx at Playful Pups back in November and have had to board him a few more times whenever I'm away for work. The first time I had to board Onyx, I was nervous and didn't know how he would handle it. Playful Pups does an absolutely fantastic job of caring for the dogs staying there and I highly recommend them to everyone who needs to board their pup. I no longer feel nervous whenever I need to travel because I know Onyx is in good hands and is having a great time. It's obvious that all of the staff here love what they do and truly care about providing the best experience for their guests. I will continue to give Playful Pups my business and encourage anyone else who needs to board their dog to do the same!

It was our pet's first time staying with Playful Pup Retreat. Upon our arrival we were greeted with very pleasant staff who answered all of our questions. The place was very clean. When we picked up our pet, she seemed very happy. Wagging her tail and not trying to pull us towards the exit. In the past, she would always look to leave the kennel right away. We were very pleased and plan on using them for boarding.
Started boarding my senior shihtzu here earlier this year based on a recommendation from my groomer. I couldn't be happier with the care Riley gets at PPR. I love getting the photo updates in the Facebook group and knowing he's being much more monitored & cuddled than at my old kennel gives me SO much peace of mind while I'm traveling. It's a hike for me to drive him to Etown from New Cumberland but it's so worth it.
It was Parker's first visit, and I was worried on how she would do as a first time staying away from home without me. Her report was that she did great on her walks, ate well, and was a good girl. PPR responded well and quickly to e-mail inquiry check ins. She now has a reservation scheduled for March.
If you are looking for a safe, kind and caring place to put your loved pet, Kind Hearted Pet Resort is the only place to go. We have used them many times for our Cooper and they send me pictures daily and respond to every text I send. I so worry when I leave Cooper but they always give him all the best care and love. Had our 6 month old puppy here for a week while we were on vacation. This was the first time we ever spent time apart from him but the girls at Kind Hearted made the process as painless as possible. When we pick him up a week later he didn’t want to leave! I can tell he got plenty of love. It’s good knowing we can trust Kind Hearted in the future.
Cocoa always gets a great welcome and we talk to Aunt Becky about anything new she may need to know during his stay. He always looks and smells so good when we pick him up. I would recommend them to any pet owner would may need to go away. :)
10 stars!! "Aunt" Becky is just the best here. She treats your animal the best. Maybe even better than you do. Lol. I highly recommend this kennel, but call soon. She fills up fast, and for the best care, she limits the number animals at the kennel. But seriously there are not enough good things I can say about this place. Board your pet here, go on vacation, and don't worry about a thing!!
I really wish I could give this place 5 stars because last summer when they had my boyfriend's bull terrier for a week and a half while we were on vacation, they were nothing short of amazing with him and raved about him! However, fast forward to May 24th of this year. My boyfriend called Becky's cell phone to leave her a message but was instructed by her voicemail to call the business to get in contact with her, so he left a message. No response or returned call. June 9th, my boyfriend called the business line again and left a message for them to call him back. Again, no response or returned call. Sometime between June 9th- June 16th, I decided to go onto their website and fill out a "Contact Us" form to try and get into contact with them, hoping to maybe hear back with an email. Nothing. June 17th, I decided to give it one last attempt to try and get into contact with Becky. I sent a FB message to the business. At last, Becky finally answered and had instructed me to text her cell phone, which I did immediately! We exchanged some information in regards to the dates we were going on vacation, (this time for 2 weeks straight) and how we wanted to secure our dog's boarding before we purchased our airfare. She stated she would get back to me shortly with her availability. June 19th, I reached out for my last time on FB messenger to see if she had an update on the availability of boarding our dog since I hadn't heard from her yet. She had read the message but never responded. I also sent a text to her cell phone in case my service at the time didn't send my message, and again no response or returned call. June 21st, my boyfriend calls her cell one last time and can't leave a message for her because her mailbox is full, so he calls the business line and leaves a message, asking to please call him back either way if she can board our dog. No response or call was ever returned. It's a real shame that it had to come to this, and I hope nobody else ever has to waste their time like we did trying to get into contact with this business.
Kind Hearted pet resort is amazing! Our pet Charlie is so loved and well taken care of when we go away we never worry about him not being in good hands.
Aunt Becky and her team of caring people will treat your fur-kid like family. My dog loves going here and always has a great time.

They took forever. 20+ min past our appointment. 20+ minutes afterwards to check out. High prices. They used to be friendly but just felt like a weird environment. The vet was nice.
Aunt Becky and her Husband are awesome. Windy can't wait to go back for her next stay.
