Ian
My stay at Ian and Chrissy's was delightful. I was made so welcome by them. Tilly is a sweet-natured cat who accepted me easily and was a friendly companion, in between her essential cat naps! I shared a lovely meal with Chrissy and Ian before they left and was provided with really clear instructions on how to care for their lovely home and garden. I unhesitatingly recommend Ian and Chrissy as hosts for a house sit.

Kayla
Kayla and Steve were absolutely amazing hosts.

They provided everything needed for a pleasant stay with the cats.

The communication was great and they provided everything in the house guide for my reference.

Bandit and Smokey are very nice, affectionate, and well mannered pets. I will miss my furry little friends.

I highly recommend Kayla, Steve, Bandit and Smokey for a future pet sit.

Thank you again - it was a very special kitty Christmas that will be remembered for a long time.

To be honest, I fell in love with Kona! After he decided I was his new favorite auntie, he gave me so much love! I missed him after I left, and it appears he missed me too. Mark and Rebecca are lovely people. Communication was easy, and their home is very nice. Very clean and comfortable, with a big gourmet kitchen.

Sian
Such a great stay at Sian and Greg’s! They are extremely kind and hospitable, offering to pick me up/ take me to the train station and even cooked a delicious dinner for me the night before they left.

I hung out with their cats Nelson and Winnie for the week who were pretty happy to do their own thing but are very friendly. Instructions were clear but I knew if needed I could easily get in contact with them! I definitely felt at home the whole stay.

Thanks for a great experience Sian and Greg 😊

Kim
This was a most enjoyable house sit, and despite being not far from where we live, it opened up a whole new area to explore. The introduction by Carrie and Kim two days prior to our sit proved invaluable as we already felt we knew Charlie and Troy before our stay. The house was warm and welcoming and we felt very much at home. Charlie was a joy to walk, very obedient, and never straying too far. Troy slept but was very friendly when awake! Thank you Carrie and Kim, we would happily sit for you again.

Taylor
Amazing location and a beautiful home. Zelly is gorgeous and great to be around, but I think Taylor needs to do a lot better in supporting sitters to feel most at home, and to stick to the original plan.

The dates changed pretty last minute which caused some bother, although Taylor ended up staying at her mom's house to keep her commitment to the agreed dates.

Even then, Flo was not part of the sit, as initially agreed, and one of the main reasons I use THS is to spend time with the pets.

I only got the welcome pack on the day of arrival, which meant I had a lot to figure out on my own.

I was in Portland on the day of the exchange, and was hoping to meet them before they left, but comms and timings were never properly adhered to, and even when I struggled to get into the bedroom on arrival, calling Taylor for support seemed like an inconvenience.

When I left on the 21st, Taylor had forgotten that I was not there another night (their plans shifted by 24 hours, hence the changes to the dates), and had not responded to my message in the morning before leaving, right until I followed up later than evening.

I hope this feedback supports future sits, and from both sides of what should be an equal partnership.
