We were SO incredibly lucky to have found Laura to come and care for our sweet Rosie! Rosie is a non-traditional Ragdoll who wants company, without any real physical contact. We couldn’t believe it when Laura sent us pictures and videos of Rosie curling up with her, being petted by her and her husband simultaneously, snuggling with her daughter, sleeping on her bed…..all unbelievable! With these pictures, and Laura’s very frequent reports and updates, we found we had great peace of mind that Rosie was not only having her needs met, but was truly being loved, cherished and pampered! What a gift for us! Laura’s husband and 2 adult children arrived while we were away, and stayed briefly, so sadly we did not meet them. Despite having 4 adults (using 3 bedrooms) living in our home, the house was left in perfect condition…laundry done, and all beautifully clean and tidy. Laura and her family were looking for a winter vacation and happened to be in Ottawa during one of the coldest weeks on record. Amazingly, they made the best of their chilly time here, participating in winter activities and enjoying museums whenever it really was just too cold. No complaints (unlike most locals); they made the most of what our region has to offer! Very independent and self sufficient! We feel that we had the perfect Rosie-sitter, and have now made a wonderful new friend. Our thanks to Laura. We wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a loving pet sitter. We would welcome her back to our home anytime!
