I had such a lovely time looking after Toffee in Kristen & Joel’s beautiful flat! The communication with Kristen & Joel before (and during) my sit was very good, I felt really comfortable going into it. They gave me some great recommendations of places/pubs/restaurants which were really handy and made me feel so welcome by leaving me chocolates & wine on my arrival (such a treat - thank you)!! Their home is just lovely, warm, cosy and beautifully done up - I really enjoyed staying in East Dulwich. Toffee is such a sweetie- she was a little shy at first, but by the end of the trip and with some gentle encouragement, she was asking for strokes and purring away in the evening. Would 10/10 recommend this sit. Thanks so much guys for welcoming me into your home and letting me take care of Toffee!
We feel like we won the lottery with this housesit. Remy and Lily are adorable little doggies, and so easy to look after. We miss them already. Pierre and Jillian have a beautiful, spacious apartment in a quiet, non-touristy area of Rome within a short walk of Rome's historic centre, the Colosseum, Imperial Forum, Pantheon, Orange Garden, and Trevi Fountain. Walk a little further to the Vatican and the Spanish Steps. The apartment is very close to many excellent, inexpensive, authentic Roman restaurants, pizzerias, and gelaterias, with not a tourist in sight. Or just across the bridge is Trastevere with its winding narrow lanes packed with restaurants, artisans and shopping. There's also a fruit and vegetable market just down the road. We were surprised to find an inexpensive, secure parking station a few minutes walk away, which only cost around 13 Euros a day. Pierre, Jillian and their daughter Amelie were a delightful family, very friendly and helpful. This housesit is a real gem. We will certainly return if we're invited and if we're available. Such a lovely few days at Tim and Sue’s beautiful home at picturesque Lighthouse Beach. The doggos are super cute and cuddly, it felt as though they were doing their best to entertain me with their ball expertise and then snuggle time spent on the lounge. The pussy cats are just as adorable with their independent personalities and needing attention all at the same time. It has been a delight spending time with this little group. Communication with Tim was excellent from beginning to end, very clear and thorough instructions regarding the pets and the house, making everything so much easier without any stress. The home was a pleasure to stay in and Tim even baked me a loaf of fresh bread for my arrival, such a generous welcome.
I had a fun sit in Ventura caring for Gandalf. He was very sweet and easy going. Donna and Gary showed me around their house showing me where everything was to make everything easy for me. Their home was very beautifully done with a Taos, Santa Fe vibe. The house is in a great location, just over a mile to the cute downtown with lots of eateries and shops. The beach is within two miles with lots of great walking trails. I would definitely recommend this sit.
We loved our stay in Boxford. The Home was clean, gorgeous, comfortable and relaxing. We Love Rosie. She is so sweet and gentle. We enjoyed daily walks in the woods with her. Miles and miles of hiking trails and ponds. The fish were easy to care for, just feeding morning and night. The family did a great job with the details of all things to do in the area. Museums, restaurants, outdoor activities and more. Overall a very enjoyable time and would definitely take care of Rosie any day. I miss her already. We always felt safe and Terri was always available if we had questions or needed anything.
