We enjoyed everything about sitting for Chloë and Evan. We adored their pets, and absolutely recommend the opportunity to future sitters. Remy, the collie, is a senior dog with a sweet, gentle, loving disposition. Digby, the golden, is a happy, affectionate puppy who provides constant entertainment. Brax is a cat who loves to have her belly rubbed, adores attention, and has no trouble curling up alongside the two dogs. And Chloë and Evan have assembled one of the most beautiful variety of hens we’ve ever seen. We loved watching and listening to them! Together, Chloë and Evan have a wonderful assortment of lovable, enjoyable pets who make wonderful companions. Chloë and Evan also went out of their way to make their lovely home comfortable for our stay. We had all we needed to care for the pets and to cook our own meals. We relaxed in the evenings, sharing a sofa with Remy, Digby and Brax curled up nearby. The village has plenty of great walking paths and the dogs are well behaved. We were there in winter after some rains and many trails were muddy, so we kept to paved walkways. Still, we found beautiful routes for our afternoon walks. Chloë and Evan’s neighbors are also very kind and friendly, and when we bumped into them, they too made us feel welcome and at home. Anyone who sits for Chloë and Evan will no doubt be charmed and entertained by their lovable furry and feathered family. We are grateful for the opportunity to sit for them. We wish them the very best.
Arlo is a gentle soul and such a sweet dog. He is friendly and polite at first, but after he warms up to you he will be content to sit at your feet and shoot you puppy dog eyes. He has a great personality and I enjoyed my time with him. The hosts are gracious and the home expansive and well equipped. I enjoyed the sounds of the birds and sunset view over the golf course. Thanks for having me and would love to sit again!
There are so many great things to say about Tammy and Jeff's sit. First and foremost, from the time we video chatted with Tammy and Jeff prior to the sit, they felt like friends to us. They are both just so lovely and friendly. They invited us for dinner the night prior to the sit to introduce us to Jonie & Louie and their amazing home. Their home is so beautiful and comfortable with the greatest pool ever! Last but not least are Jonie and Louie! They are such cute loving and well behaved pups. Their routine was very easy to follow and they are so much fun. We miss them already and can't wait to sit for them again.
We had a lovely 2 night stay with Suki, a warm loving cat, always up for a fuss. The home was in a lovely area, close to the beach and a good walk to Brighton. Would recommend for anyone wanting to visit Brighton and spend time with a beautiful cat.
