It took me many weeks to find Claire and her son Jack but it was worth the long search. My dog Mozart had been getting increased separation anxiety since I went away in November, so I was really worried as to how he would be and what he would end up doing whilst I was away. Claire and Jack had dealt with a friends dog previously with the same problem and there were no issues with Mozart whilst I was away. My cats didn’t go astray either 🙏. Claire and Jack enjoyed getting around the island a few days but were always conscious of not being away from the house too long. On a couple of occasions the dogs got treated to a walk into the village and were well behaved sitting outside restaurants with Claire and Jack . The dogs received additional attention from passers by , Spice is a real attention seeker. I agreed for Claire and Jack to stay on for a few days after my return from my holiday. We each got on with our own agendas so it wasn’t an issue for me. They were kind enough to stay with the dogs one evening so as my husband and I could go out for dinner with friends without worrying on when to get back home. On the last evening we enjoyed a Sunday dinner at home together. I would definitely welcome Claire and Jack to house sit again. Claire and Jack did clean their bedrooms and bathroom before they left . Claire had started cleaning other parts of the house as we arrived home as we had forgotten about hours time difference from where we were travelling, so this is the reason I have given Claire a 4 . I’m sure if we’d arrived an hour later that all the living areas would have been spotless.

Michele was wonderful! From the beginning she was always very communicative and responsive, which gave us immediate peace of mind that we would be able to reach her during the sit. She was very accommodating to our travel plans and even stayed with Heidi later when we found out our flight home was delayed.
During the sit she provided regular updates and photos of Heidi and went above and beyond our expectations in taking care of her. We felt such peace of mind knowing she was being loved on so well!
Michele left our place very clean and tidy and all in all was a highly attentive and trustworthy sitter that we would recommend to anyone!

Rose & Bruce were a delightful gem of a couple and even more delightful as house/pet sitters.

Our littlest pup wasn't feeling to keen about our leaving and they were both patient and loving with his anxiety during our absense.

Furthermore they kept us abreast of the day to day happenings with our pups, set pictures and videos too.

We repapy were able to rest assured our home and pets were in good hands during our absence especially since this was their first time away from our entire family.

Not to mention, they took gingerly care of our home and we're so pleasant to communicate with.

If you are lucky enough to have Bruce and Rose sit for you, don't delay. Sign up with them today and be blessed.

Because they will bless you so much!❤️

We would not hesitate to have them sit again if our entire family goes away!❤️

West
West and Cheryl were gracious and warm and welcoming, and Little Ricky couldn't have been more delightful. He enriched our stay with his own warmth and intelligence, and was a great hiking companion. We felt immediately at home there, and enjoyed the amazing views and surrounding natural features. This was our very first sit, and we are still beaming from the joy of it.

Beth
Beth and Kurt were both accessible and friendly to deal with; the house instructions were clear, detailed, and accurate. Bo is an adorable and very friendly pup! There’s a dog park just around the corner and great beaches for longer walks within a short drive.
The house has stunning views out over the valley and there’s a lovely spa off the deck. Spending time with Bo will definitely bring a smile to your face!

It was a real pleasure to look after sweet Diesel during the month of January. He is a very handsome senior kitty with a good strong personnality, really loving humans and their proximity. Brushing him regularly guarantees the expression of much happiness and lots of purring and it was so nice to have him sleeping next to me. Yvonne and Garry are very friendly and welcoming and I quickly felt myself at home in their comfy home overlooking the water. We shared together a nice meal before their departure. Ladner is a charming little town with lots of restaurants and trails to explore nearby amongst the marshes. The weather ended up being cold and snowy but I was lucky enough to have a few good days to explore the surroundings and walking in the fresh snow is surely a magical moment! Thanks again Yvonne, Garry and Diesel for such a wonderful experience!

Juliet
Juliet and Brennen were super nice and accommodating. Juliet left very detailed information for me, which I love because I’m detail oriented myself.

Alani is super sweet once she warms up to you. I miss her already!

I would definitely do another sit if they needed me again.

I enjoyed this sit in a lovely flat with a garden. One of the cats was quite shy and it took some trickery to get her to come inside, but we got there in the end :) Emily and Jay were very welcoming and supportive throughout the stay and I spent a very comfortable few days. Thank you both!

Lindsey
Ok first the good: the cats. The cats were great, had zero problems with them, and were a joy :-)

The bad: about two weeks before the sit, Lindsey and I had a video chat. She explained she had just moved to a new apartment. She said the wifi should be ready to go before she leaves, and the kitchen would be delivered the first or second day I was there. I was fine with this. However, that is not what happened. The box with the modem, etc... came on the second day. Lindsey said the line was ready, just plug in. I did that, and it connected but with no internet. Long story short, she gave me three totally different sets of instructions, none of which actually worked. She also could not answer basic questions like "when did you sign up with them?" So, I had no wifi the whole trip. She said, "you might need to go to Vodafone then." That is not my job.
Kitchen: the kitchen was finally delivered on the fifth day of the sit. Relatives of the landlord came over, and took three days to install a very small kitchen, for which I had to be present to let them inside, etc... Lots of noise (drilling, hammering, etc...). Kitchen was finished two days before I left.
Lindsey was there for about a day and a half before leaving for her trip. When she left, the bathroom floor was extremely dirty, bed was not made, and then she went to Vodafone the day before leaving to check about the wifi, came back and said, "well, they said I screwed up, but they will send out the modem." When I asked which Vodafone store she went to, she couldn't remember despite just returning. I asked in case I had a question about installation.
Finally, the day Lindsey left, I asked what time she would be returning on the 14th, she said around 11 am. I told her I would be leaving around 10 am on the 14th, that was fine. On the 14th, I texted her around noon from the train I was on, and got a reply a bit later that said, "sorry, I forgot that I lose a day coming back from the US. I will be home on Monday instead." I asked if she could text the landlord to see if they could go over and feed the cats, she said they would be fine. I told her I wish I would have known, I could have stayed and left on the 15th. She said she just realized the mistake. However, the times don't match up, she just never informed me until I messaged her. She got home about 28 hours after I left, luckily the cats were fine.
I would give five stars to the cats, they were great. The two star rating is the total lack of responsibilty by Lindsey, the fact that there was no wifi the whole time, the coming back a day later and the reason why, then the fact that I paid about 100 pounds during the trip for phone data and a hotel on the 14th that I shouldn't have needed. Also the lack of cleaning the bathroom, etc... before leaving despite having time. Hopefully this is a one time thing because of moving to a new apartment.
