Clare
Button is a wonderful cat, full of curiosity and energetic. She's out and about quite a bit and loves a fuss when she's home. There's some meds to take care of and a tracker to monitor. She's also generous in bringing home a 'gift' nearly every day, so be prepared :)

And Clare was a lovely host! She took great care to make sure I was comfortable and that I had everything I needed to care of Button and the house.

The house is warm and comfortable, great bed! About 20-30mins outside of Bath, but a bus on your doorstep which was super easy. I'd happily recommend to my fellow sitters.

Gilly
It was an absolute pleasure taking care of Nahla and Izzy on behalf of Mark and Gilly.

It's hard knowing where to begin as everything with this house sit was perfect.

The ladies were wonderful and very easy to look after. Nahla will probably bark at you on the first day. She's only acting tough, cause she is a massive cutie and will expect belly rubs and hugs from time to time. Nahla is super chilled and likes to sit in the sun all day or follow you around as you do little chores around the house and garden. From time to time she will ask to inspect the food you are eating by smelling your breath. It is shocking how quickly this became normal to me, haha. It's possible to take Nahla on walks, just be careful not to go too far as she has issues with one of her legs.

Izzy is 100 miles an hour all day long. As soon as you wake up you'll feed both dogs then head outside for the 1st of 10 games of fetch that you are expected to play each day. If you refuse to play she will find one of your socks and quickly change your mind. Izzy doesn't know the meaning of daytime naps or chill. Which is great as she is the perfect companion for daytime walks around Štrigova.

Štrigova and the house itself are stunning and very peaceful. I miss waking up each day and enjoying the view while I drink my tea. Lucky for me I have 3728283 photos to look at.

The house has everything you need and more. Even though it's quite a large house it is easy to maintain and clean. The pool and sauna are amazing bonuses to go along with the view of the surrounding areas. I love nature and there are plenty of long and short walks to keep you occupied.

Mark and Gilly are fantastic people with hearts of gold. I instantly felt welcome in their home. They also introduced me to a couple of their friends whom I met up with and had a great time with while they were away. Gilly asked me if I would like anything brought back from the UK, and I was blown away when they returned with the haggis I asked for. We kept in regular contact throughout and they both helped me with any questions I had. Mark very kindly drove me to a town close by to get a bus to Zagreb. I couldn't have asked for nicer or kinder people to house-sit for.

I accidentally broke one of their beach chairs and was worried for a week that they would get annoyed, but they shrugged it off instantly which was brilliant.

This place reminds me of The Overlook from The Shinning because I didn't want to leave 😂

10/10 I hope to see everyone again in the future.

Suzanne
My housesitting experience at Suzanne's was great. She picked me up at the airport and introduced me to her lovely home and adorable cats.
She had all the information and details of the house and pets written down and explained it all to me before she left. I felt secure in the house and I knew that the neighbors were looking out for me. And a bonus, I was left a car to use. The cats are very well behaved and just wanted to be loved. There are great walking paths in the gated area around the houses.
It was a very good experience for my second house sit.
Thank you Suzanne and Andy.

Elizabeth
I loved sitting for Elizabeth! Kenri and Freya are the sweetest snuggliest dogs I’ve sat! They know their commands and are always ready to play! When walking Kenri I suggest using the harness so he won’t slip out of the collar. When walking Freya I suggest using a muzzle and harness as she can react to other dogs and people which Elizabeth was clear to communicate. Her house was very clean and very comfortable to stay in. Even more, she was always one text away from answering any and all of my questions! I would sit here again and again.
