Cristiani is very warm and welcoming. She has a beautiful apartment and it is very clean with a housekeeper that comes once a week if you do not mind. Zahra and Vida were so fun to be with for two weeks. Zahra has quite the personality and she loves to burrow under the covers and curl up next to a warm body. Vida is super sweet but takes a back seat to Zahra who wants all of the attention. They loved to play with their snake toy and Zahra loved to go out in the hallway whenever I went downstairs and hoped someone would invite her into their apartment. Zahra is quite the talker and very social. It takes Vida a little bit longer but she will come around to enjoy belly rubs, brushing and sleeping on the bed. I hope to get the opportunity to stay with these two sweet fur babies again.
Okay…total honesty here. Waffles is the most loving, amazing, silly, funny, friendly, INTELLIGENT, cuddly, sensitive, spectacular, joyful, well loved, and locally recognized celebrity Golden Retriever of Venice Beach. Seriously, she was and is an incredible Being and I cannot recommend her enough! Home and location are perfect and beautiful but I did not have the items needed for me to comfortably be there without spending a fortune to meet my needs during the stay. Pet parent appears to be a minimalist. I didn’t have any bath towels to shower or bathe. No drinking water, no coffee pot or coffee maker. Only a toaster. Saw a Nutribullet base but no container. Couldn’t find a sharp knife, but eventually found one in the way back of the utensil drawer, behind forks, spoons, and knives. Freezer completely empty and fridge basically completely empty and no spices, etc. Nothing close by was open to go buy drinking water and even if I’d grocery shopped, the kitchen isn’t equipped to really make a typical meal. There was also no hot water in the kitchen so also could not wash dishes or run dishwasher. Pet parent also did not respond until end of day or next day when asked where I could find bath towels or kitchen items/issues. It would have been helpful to have at least had drinking water and bathing towel upon my arrival after being in airport/plane, and traveling all day to get there and nowhere to go to get these things at that hour. As pet parent mentioned, neighbors upstairs are exceptionally loud at ALL hours of day and night and you can really hear them talking, using bathroom etc. Bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to that noise. Again, HIGHLY recommend Waffles and sitting for her. EVERYBODY loves Waffles and now so do I! Beautiful, clean home, great neighbors next door, excellent location and have I said how awesome Waffles is!?!?! I just recommend being very detailed in your questions to pet parent about what is available for you and your stay and also that you are insured of timely responses if you have an important need or concern. Also, washer door is broken and hanging on a hinge but it works with a little leak at seal. You just have to kinda pick up the door and then shove it in firmly. If you’re not handy with things, definitely ask pet parent as I discovered on my own and figured it out. P. S. Bring more than one pair of socks! 🤣 🐕🧦 💯
This was an amazing time! Ollie is a total sweetie! He's an awesome snuggler, and a very good boy!! The pool, views, and location are pretty great too. And Kelsey makes everything super smooth and easy. What a fantastic host overall - with excellent communication, cleanliness & organization of a luxury hotel - and the bonus of a really loving furry friend!!!
We had a wonderful time staying with Rocky in his stunning, comfortable home in Kew. Rocky is a super-laid back boy, who was sweet, gentle and friendly. We loved having him sleep on the bed with us and sit nearby in the lounge. The medication twice per day was no trouble, he loves his food and ate it all up, medication and all. We made the most of the great location, with some highlights being the 'Christmas at Kew' lights display, Osterley Park House, Ham House, Richmond Park, the Design Museum and a special mention for the Antipodea cafe near Kew Gardens tube. Thanks very much, Rocky, Dinah and family!
