Staying at Amanda's was such a wonderful experience! Amanda came to pick me up at the station and drove me around the city on our way home; she is a great tour guide! Purdey is an absolute joy, affectionate and always ready for cuddles and plays. The house is so beautiful with the best comfort, and well located near the center and surrounded by nature, so the walks with Purdey were always a great pleasure. Communication was super easy, and the whole family is friendly and welcoming. I was sad to leave. I hope to come back and meet the new puppy! Highly recommended sit!
We had a wonderful time in Nant Valley despite the weather! The location really is wonderful; set in its own valley with an abundance of wildlife (Sparrow hawks, red kites, hares and a host of song birds; bring your binoculars!). Grace and Andrew are lovely people and communication right from the off was superb. Grace provided a comprehensive welcome guide which was appreciated. The annex was comfortable and the double bedroom with fully glazed wall overlooking the pond and woodland was something special. Dark skies and star gazing from bed and watching the sun rise over the trees. Dexter is such a character; over the course of the first week he slowly showed us more and more of his personality. Getting on a bit he’s not up for massive hikes but does enjoy a good 5-6k stomp around the local footpaths and ridges. He’s excellent off the lead and has good recall/responds to ‘wait’ as he likes to jog along in front. His routine is simple and he just loves to be around ‘his pack’ . 5pm is playtime where he will stomp his feet, bark and expect a game of tug of war for all of 5 minutes then hogs the sofa again. He does have a raw food diet so this needs to be considered if you’re a vegetarian/vegan. We didn’t have an issue with this though. There’s minimal mobile coverage and we were reliant on Wi-Fi calling for the duration of our stay. Poor weather does affect signal so sometimes watching a film can be glitchy. We made up for that by cozy afternoons in front of the wood burner. There are ample games and puzzles supplied too! Church Stretton is the nearest village for supplies and well worth a wander round. Highly recommended Mr Bun the Bakers and Vines for food supplies. Thank you Grace and Andrew for your hospitality and the gifts from Vietnam. Don’t forget to send photos of when the bluebells and fox gloves bloom 🤗
A wonderful stay. Gretchen is a very kind person and was so easy to communicate with. Her cats Ninj and Max are just lovely and very easy to care for. The home is really comfortable, very well located with everything you need. Would sit again without question!
I had a nice, relaxing stay at Christena and Bill’s lovely home in Fayetteville. They took the time to make me feel comfortable and welcome, even though they were busy packing for their trip with a new baby! The dogs and Ghost (the cat) were all well-behaved and loved getting cuddles (although watch out for Ghost’s love bites 😅). I mostly stayed at the house to catch up on work and they were all great companions. I will say that beagles are beagles, and they can be loud when neighbors walk by or they see something in the woods, but they have invisible collars and came when I called them. The house is really nice and comfortable and has everything you might need. I recommend this sit if you get the chance!
It's really easy to feel at home while looking after Mr Blue and Coco. Ashley has been making things straight forward with great communication and kindness. Mr Blue and Coco are a couple of handsome boys. Very easy to deal with, being two funny and sweet fluff-balls that love to play and get cuddled they're going to keep you entertained! The house was very clean and well furnished, with great views of Bondi and less than 10 minutes walking distance from the beach and Bondi beach centre. Totally suggest!
I had a wonderful time sitting for Pamela and Dave. Their dogs and so sweet, gentle, and affectionate, and I loved spending time with them during my stay! Pam and Dave have a beautiful and relaxing house to stay in and they were very generous and accomodating. Their thoughtfulness ensured that I had an an amazing time during my housesit!
