I took care of James and Jennis house and 4 pets for 12 days. The house is beautiful and spacious, great kitchen and an office space for my work from home with a view into the garden. It was easy to take care of the three cats (Kobi, Mochi and Kiki) as well as Reuben, the Irish setter I believe. The cats love their cuddles and like to play with their toys, it was a pleasure to watch their funny personalities. Rueben is a very sweet and loving dog, always happy and cuddly. I appreciated the fact, that you could let him of lead on the beach or in the park, I loved to watch him play with other dogs or greeting people, who came his way. His recall might be not the best, but since he is so friendly with everybody, people and dogs, that I never had to worry about a situation when he was not on the lead. Sometimes he just gets distracted by a female dog so much, that his hearing seams to disappear 😉. Overall, a great dog to sit. Leigh on Sea or Westcliff on Sea is a very cute town, lovely shops, cafés and restaurants as well as traditional old and beautiful pubs at the Victoria Wharf. The beach promenade is only an 8 min. walk away from the house, once there, you can walk hours in both directions if you want. I enjoyed my stay very much and can recommend sitting Reuben and the three cat musketeers in Leigh on Sea. Thank you, James and Jenni.
What a wonderful stay. Communication with Lara went smoothly and clearly. They welcomed us very warmly. Chorri is a wonderful companion. We loved spending time with him. Chorri is a very independent cat, coming and going as he pleases, eating when he's hungry, and playing when he feels like it. He really enjoys the evening meal and looks forward to it every day :). After such a short time, we have grown very fond of Chorri. The apartment and surroundings are wonderful, with nature just a few steps away from the apartment! Basel is easily accessible by public transport. All in all, we had a great experience and can highly recommend this stay. Thank you Lara & Gianmarco.
It was a pleasure looking after Lisa and Tasca. The house is beautiful and has direct access to the beach! Lisa and Tasca were wonderful companions, and we will miss their company dearly. Marc and I had a great time taking care of Sharon and Karen in Gloucester. They are delightful, affectionate, easy going kitties. They hung out with us in the morning while we sipped coffee, and they jumped into bed at night for snuggles. Peggy left a clear , concise home guide. Her home is charming, a great place for reading and relaxing. It is centrally located, near the harbor. Gloucester is a beautiful town with many restaurants, coffee shops and places to have a beer. We had fun walking around. A whale watch is a must! We highly recommend this sit, and definitely want to come back. Thanks again Peggy for being such a gracious host.
