Catherine
Richard gave us a warm welcome and we enjoyed his easy and relaxed company over a delicious meal. We did no meet Catherine who left a few days before our arrival.

Catherine & Richard are very organized, sharing great information in advance about the dogs, the house and sights to see. They are generous and thoughtful hosts who ensured that we had everything we needed. Their home is lovely, warm and inviting.

The dogs were loving and affectionate and it was so nice to have them curled up on our laps or at our feet. They certainly let you know when it is time to go to their walk! The area has several beautiful areas where you can walk the dogs off the lead. On off-leash walks they were super attentive and responded well to command. They were well-behaved in the car and even liked being wiped off when it rained.

We highly recommend this sit.

Anna
It is well worth housesitting for Anna & Roger, they are lovely hospitable people & have a beautiful animal family. Seven very different personalities to get to know and make friends with. All the animals have kind natures and are well-behaved, you will have a great time with them. Anna gave me a lift from Mont-de-Marsan station a day before the sit & I walked into a lunchtime gathering of their family & friends which was a unique and sweet experience. Anna sent a welcome guide & left extra notes, as well as a walk through so I felt well prepared. It was easy keeping in communication throughout the sit. The house is comfortable and the grounds have many beautiful trees & a pool. It's a very peaceful area surrounded by vineyards with the village of Viella nearby where there is a well-equipped grocery store.

We had a fantastic house sit at Jo's lovely, cosy home in a pretty village. Jo and her family were very friendly and hospitable and told us to make ourselves at home.
The dogs, Jager and Inca were adorable and very well behaved.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

I had a delightful time sitting for Amelia! She hid from me for about a day and a half, but once she decided I was okay, she was so friendly, and sweet, and playful.

Rachel and Nicole have a lovely home and they were so welcoming to me. Everything I needed to know to care for Amelia was clearly explained and they were very communicative during the whole sit so we’re available to answer any questions I had.

Their home is in an adorable neighborhood close to some great mini excursions. They are only 5-10 minutes from a little college town with the cutest bookstore and other little shops and restaurants. The area is also just a short drive to Springfield, where I found a great quad of museums. In the other direction, another short drive, is Northampton, where I found the most amazing yarn store, and tons of shops and restaurants.

I had a wonderful time with this sit and was sad to leave Amelia.
