Such a lovely stay with very beautiful and mellow cats. Thank you so much for trusting us with your home, we really enjoyed the relaxing break and the time with your 3 cats. Freeland is just amazing and we love the island life :D
Wow, where to start? It was a 5* experience for us! We loved the 4 days we spent in Founex. We felt very welcomed from the beginning, Jenny even prepared a vegan lunch for us to share together, it was so delicious! The house is absolutely stunning! What a privilege to enjoy a place like this. And the weather was so good and so warm for early October that we had the chance to use the beautiful pool! And last but not least, Tali is the sweetest doggy, it was so easy to look after him. We really enjoyed the time together, he joined us to visit some friends we have in the area and was very quiet and well behaved. We loved the walks nearby the house, especially the views over the Alps and the Jura. We feel so grateful, thank you Jenny and Geraint for choosing us! Everything was perfect ;)
We had so much fun sitting with May and Deacon! They were well behaved while being up for adventure. Matt and Kersti, your home is lovely and you are wonderful hosts. Your suggestions for places to visit were spot on. We are happy to come back and sit and y’all are welcome to visit us whenever you are able.
Seven, Michelle and Brian were wonderful! Seven is such a sweet dog and embraced me as soon as I met her. Michelle quickly set up a virtual and in person meet up to make sure this was a good fit, then provided helpful information to make sure I was well-prepared for the sit. Seven specifically has some reactivity toward other dogs on walks, but Michelle and Brian prepared me well to support her. At home and with other humans, you could not ask for a sweeter house-sitting pal than Seven. Michelle and Brian have a great apartment with a nice view of the river around Roosevelt Island. I’d house-sit for them again any time!
Tricia was sweet and kind as a host and easy to communicate with. The cats have adorable & gentle personalities and were easy to love on. Renata will follow you around and is funny and entertaining. Salem is more reserved in comparison but he's super adorable and sweet. The ducks were very easy to care for and have minimal needs; the fresh egg every morning is a treat! A few things were not mentioned in the listing though; the sun room is not temperature controlled & there are cameras in the backyard. The laundry area in the garage was not prepared to host anyone so you might want to ask for a video tour. Tricia herself is a really wonderful person and the animals are the sweetest. Maybe the hosts were under the weather and not able to prepare the space as they would have liked. I do appreciate the hospitality and kind communication overall.
We love Maho! Also Nolan and Whitney's place was great and they are really kind. Maho is such a sweet girl and so easy to care for as she is the best fetch player I've ever seen. She has access to a huge backyard. The location is great and we were able to easily access the mountain reports. Great spot!
