This is the third time that Wendy sat for us and the dogs are so content in her care. She is very tidy and gets everything clean before I arrive home. She is responsible and I can trust that she is taking care of everything while I’m gone.
Although the sit was only 2 days, we’ve enjoyed it a lot! All four fur babies are just cute and adorable. Dogs met us with big joy and the kitties are really cuddly. The atmosphere in the house is welcoming and friendly, we enjoyed the pool during hot weather. Thank you, Tyler and your whole family, for such a great sit❤️
The Home & Neighborhood Jessica's home was exactly as pictured. I spent a lot of time on the deck during my stay, enjoying the birds singing. There is exercise equipment available downstairs. The house is located in the suburbs, about a 45-minute bus ride from downtown. The only bus stop within comfortable walking distance operates Monday through Friday from 5 AM to 8 AM and 3 PM to 6 PM. So, if you plan to visit downtown, it needs to be an all-day excursion. This is important for those who don't consider themselves early birds. The Fur Babies Dusty is so easy to take care of. Despite being a larger dog, he was easy to walk and generally friendly to other dogs. I say "generally" because while he's usually friendly, he can sense true hostility from other dogs and will react accordingly. Mystic mostly stays in the backyard and will occasionally visit inside. Mystic doesn't really need much human companionship, but Magic and Elton enjoy pets and will let you know when they're ready for attention. Overall, they were a good bunch with diverse personalities. The Host Jessica communicated very well, giving me a clear idea of what to expect and addressing potential house issues in advance. Her hospitality was outstanding, and she seems like such a sweet person at heart. I would definitely sit for her again..
It was an absolute dream looking after little Alfie and the two beautiful cats! Alfie was good as gold, and it was so nice to snuggle up with him on the sofa in the evening. It was great getting to know the cats over the short trip and it was quite funny to watch their different personalities shine through. Would thoroughly recommend and would love to sit again!
Everything was exactly as Tom had said and as described in the guide, which was comforting and nice. Olly & Bommel are very sweet, communicative cats that both have their own rhythm & sound. While Olly is an older cat, taking it all a bit slower and being more vocal, Bommel is younger, more on the hunt, being dynamic and playful. Olly loves being combed gently and Bommel loves to play with you, show affection by licking your clothes and skin and giving cat massages :) They love having someone around to be attentive to them. Tom's place is spacious and well taken care of. I had the pleasure of meeting Evgenya, who came to clean one morning, and she was a pleasure as well. So was Breeze, who gave me the key. All warm & kind people. As is Tom himself! Communication was easy and nice. Since I was looking for easy-going surroundings, I really enjoyed this sit. It was wonderful to combine with doing my writing at the house. Surely recommend!
Beautiful cottage in a lovely rural location. Communication before and during the sit was great and Suzy was so welcoming, leaving clear instructions and taking time to show us around. But the true stars of the sit were Monty and Chica, who were an absolute delight, full of energy and affection. Would highly recommend and definitely sit again if the opportunity arises. Thanks so much for having us!
Really good vibes and people is what you see when you get to Katie and Talton’s place. They give us a brief explanation and leave few pages with anything we need to know about the house and pets, they send us few videos too, explaining the most specific things to remember. That was super helpful. You can see they love their home and any coner you see is filled with love and dedication, you can also feel that on their pets. We had the peasure of meeting Boo Radley Caprica & Kara. Boo Radley (A.k.A el oso blanco) : you can feel the dedication and time they spend on him, He’s been always respectful and reliable. It was a joyful experience to walk with him, I never had any kind of pulling the leash or something like that, well behaved and good listener. Caprina: it took a while to Caprica to get used to us, she loves to spend her time laying down on a sunny spot at the backyard, never give any problems at all Kara: She neded a little more attention, but not a lot, she needs to get medicine in her food it’s super easy, we felt her a bit more shy than Caprica but sooner than you espect she will be begging for cuddles and sleeping with you. It was a really good sit for us, we and the change to enjoy a beautifull house in a lovely neighborhood with such an amazing pets. Katie and Talton where super kind and always willing to help with any little thing, they left us there with food and all the comodities we could ask for. It was Nice to meet Katie’s Family, we felt at home since the very first minute i will totally recomend them to any sitter.
