Erica was entirely excellent! She was adaptable and gracious when we had some changes leading into the sit to begin with. She was also always consistent and reliable in communication not only during our time away, but also beforehand while organizing calls and meet and greets. While we were away she not only sent updates and photos daily, but also set expectations of when we could anticipate each update without us needing to ask. From her updates it was clear she got to know the girls well and that they were well cared for and enjoying her company. When we returned, it was evident that she went well beyond all expectations to leave our place in totally spotless condition! I'd recommend Erica over and over - your home and pets are in great hands with her kind, mature, and professional approach.
Jane & Richard welcomed us into their cosy and clean home and gave some great recommendations for places to visit locally. It was a pleasure to look after Whiskey & Joey. Both boys were easy going and love head rubs and chin tickles. We managed to fit in some lovely walks in the area too.
We absolutely loved looking after Finnegan and Dino. They are both so well trained and behaved. Cute, playful, friendly, cuddly. They adore going to the park to throw the ball around. It's all in the name with Mount Pleasant, the neighbourhood truely is pleasant. Kind people will just stop and have a chat with you and there's lots of other friendly dogs at the park. The house is super close to everything you need such as a grocery store, pharmacy, and public transport. Roger and Janine are really nice people who went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. They had a very detailed sit manual and communicated well. It's the most lovely home with the coolest technology. We were sad to say goodbye and would definitely sit here again. This is one you don't want to miss out on. Maria & Lewis are fantastic hosts. They provided all we needed, and it was effortless to communicate with them anytime. They are really sweet-hearted people, and we could tell how much they love their fluffy partner. Frieda is a hilarious cat. She is very vocal and likes to be around you all the time. She absolutely loves playing and can get very energetic when doing so. We had a lot of fun with her and enjoyed our shared moments. Moreover, the house is adorable and wholly equipped if you have to work remotely as we had. I couldn't recommend this sit enough! Thank you, Maria & Lewis, for trusting us!
It was an absolute pleasure taking care of Ziggy in Canterbury! He is a friendly, fun, well-behaved and super affectionate dog. Dan was also such a lovely guy and he was very helpful with clear instructions which he printed out for us, just in case we were in doubt of anything. We visited the day before to meet them both and get to know Ziggy and the house a bit before Dan left the next day. We really enjoyed taking Ziggy on walks around beautiful Canterbury. We visited lovely parks, countryside and seaside together. We took him to his local park every morning where we walked with other friendly dog walkers and their dogs. Ziggy enjoys this as he is really sociable and loves running around with his doggy friends and playing catch and football. Words cannot describe his joy when you get his football out of the backpack! Our fellow dog walkers gave us some great suggestions for places to visit too. On our other walks Ziggy would often show us his favourite routes so it was easy to know where he likes to go. He is also very cuddly and enjoys lots of affection and belly rubs! We would be more than happy to care for Ziggy again! Thanks for a great experience Dan!
This house sit in Truckee was fantastic. Moloko is the SWEETEST pup in the world, and I feel like we really bonded. He is loving, super well behaved and waits until you wake up to say hello. He is also fantastic with people and other dogs during walks; I never once had to worry while walking him off leash. Even though it was snowy while we were there, there were still many winter trails that Moloko could be walked on- I'd say that the bike path in town was our favorite. Maura was also a really great host- she provided an extensive welcome guide and even left a chocolatey gift. Like others had said, Truckee is a great little gem of a mountain town- just north of Lake Tahoe, where you can have endless amounts of fun if you're an outdoorsy person and love nature. The house is a sanctuary as well. Thanks Maura and family for the great stay, and letting us hang with Moloko!
