My boyfriend and me did 2 housesits for Annabelle. In total it was a little over a week and we really enjoyed our time there. The house is beautiful, it’s a nice calm area and the most important: the dogs are incredible cute. We fed the dogs twice a day and took Freddie for one walk per day. Also we gave them LOTS of cuddles, since they loved that. Annabelle was super friendly and offered us some help with our upcoming roadtrip. Would totally recommend this housesitting opportunity and would come again anytime.
We had a really lovely time caring for Bob & Bica for Liam & Stam. From the beginning, Liam & Stam were very kind and hospitable, making us feel right at home. They were very organized and made our arrival easy. Communication with them was great, and they responded to our messages quickly. They’re a really nice couple who will make sure you have what you need to feel welcome at their home. Bob & Bica are the best!! They have two very different personalities but mesh together well. They’re very sweet dogs and will give you lots of love and cuddles after meeting and getting to know you. Their routine was pretty easy, with one longer walk in the morning and one quicker walk in the evening, and feeding 3x/day (or 2 if you’re out for a while). We were glad there were two of us for this sit since they have different walking styles, Bob is more interested in the walks and Bica can need a little more encouragement. Overall, they’re very good pups that you’ll fall in love with. The home was absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location in Belém. It’s really nicely decorated and so cozy with a great living room space. There are a few grocery store options within walking distance with plenty of public transport available. It’s very easy to get to Lisbon’s city center from their home. We’d definitely recommend this sit!
I was a lovely experience. Sarah and her family were very welcoming, everything was well prepared and the guidebook had all the information needed. Harry is a calm yet playful, friendly and affectionate cat. He loves to poke you in the morning with his paw as soon as you are awake to get some cuddles. The house is in walking distance to the Barnes Bridge train station with good connections to the city centre, Barnes itself is a beautiful village like area and close to beautiful gardens or parks such as the Kew Gardens, Wetlands or Richmond Park. I really enjoyed this time and would definitely housesit again for Sarah.
Marion and Bob are amazing people ✨ They have a beautiful energy! Laddie is beautiful, friendly, funny, and very affective. Blackie each afternoon enjoyed with us, it’s very lovely ♥️ The house is very nice, comfy, lovely backyard and the location is perfect. We would love to come back in another opportunity 😍 Thank you for everything 🫶🏼
Kathy is so friendly and was very responsive with any questions I had. She lives in a beautiful, very comfortable home. I felt very safe there. Her dog Sadie was a joy to care for and we enjoyed daily walks in a lovely neighborhood right on the bay. While I was there, I went to Topsail and Grayton Beach State Parks which are just minutes away. Highly recommend this sit to others and hope to go back soon!
