Nilanj and Allyson was great, very responsive, instructions were very clear, and they have a very nice/comfortable home with a great backyard. They even invited me over the night before for a walk through, and to stay at the house. Lego was awesome. Leg will become your shadow as he appreciates attention and petting - and loves his walks. Lego likes to play catch with his ball in the backyard. I would highly recommend this sit and would accept any opportunity to sit again in the future.
This was an awesome sit in a really cool location. Dexter and Misha are wonderful little creatures and very easy. Anna was very flexible and responsive and we felt very comfortable at her place. Would definitely recommend this sit!
It was hard to say goodbye to these sweet animals. We fell in love with Phoebe, Toby and Mia. Phoebe is such a sweetie. Typical of a Golden Retriever, she loved to snuggle, play fetch, go on walks and bring us our socks. We took her to parks and out shopping at Trader Joe's and she did amazing and was so calm and obedient. Toby liked to chill in all his favorite spots and loved scratches under his chin and belly. He would come find us and hang out near by us everyday. Mia was hilarious and has such a fun personality. She checked us out from a distance the first day but then became our snuggler and slept with us. She is playful and will chase string and toys. She loves watching the birds in the window. Holly and her family have a lovely, spacious home, in a nice, quiet neighborhood in the suburbs. Their fenced-in back yard is dreamy with stunning plants, fish pond, privacy, a nice pool, and so many beautiful birds who frequent their feeders. We enjoyed our time here and appreciated the opportunity to care for these special pets and would welcome the opportunity to housesit again in the future.❤️
This was a very enjoyable sit. Their cats were very low maintenance and easy to look after. The space is beautiful. And the hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with. A great sit overall!
Steve and I had a wonderful week looking after Figgy and Ruffy. Figgy is a wonderful dog, very affectionate and very easy to look after. On walks she came back immediately after being whistled. Anne & Nigel's house is very peaceful and comfortable. We would love to stay again in the future.
Wendy was excited yet uncertain about her first Pet Sit for Winston, her pooch. We spoke a couple of times via telephone and I gave her some information on what to look for in a Pet Sitter and to be certain of her priorities for someone living in her home. Several weeks later, she recommened me to a good friend who was planning on joining Trusted House Sitters. She was generous and offered to purchase some of my favorite foods from a great local market. Her home was very clean and organized. She had a lovely guest bedroom with bath. Wendy also offered the use of her private office space & desk on the patio and her full bathroom. She wrote the complete instructions for the care of her pooch in the welcome guide as well as giving me instructions in person, once I arrived the day of her departure. Winston was a loving and playful dog who loved to "steal or snatch" your socks, even when I hid them high up, sometimes chew on a wooden picture frame and even have a ball of my own toilet paper in my carry on. However, she did warn me about this behavior of his passion for socks.. The area where they reside is lovely and verdant with all types of vibrant blooms, in a gated community with many people taking their pets for walks. He did often become excited when he saw a squirrel or certain other dogs. About 7 days before the agreed completion of the Pet Sit Wendy became ill. She corresponded with me often from the east coast and I had sent her photos; texts and videos. She felt very badly about having to end the Pet Sit, however I knew that it was more important to enourage her to boost her immune system and to have my compassion. I stay until the morning when she had returned late the previous night. The next afternoon Wendy drove me to the inn a couple of miles from her home. I was able to begin for the first time the process of the reeiving the promised refund, since I had purchased a Premium Membership. However this process has been arduous with much confusion at times.
