Neil and Cecily could not have been a better find! They had great communication prior to the sit, they were punctual, instantly likeable and most importantly, the dogs loved them. Clem & Clyve are 2 adorable dogs. Kilian made me feel like home and explained everything I needed to know. He also showed me the walking route of the dogs so I was good prepared. Clem is the calm soul and Clyve is more active but both dogs are lovely. I enjoyed the environment, especially the beach. I would definetly go back & recommend it!

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une chaleur et une hospitalité remarquables. Évelyne et Charles ont fait tout leur possible pour que nous nous sentions à l'aise et les bienvenus dans leur maison. Leur accueil a été couronné par un délicieux repas préparé avec soin par Charles, ce qui nous a permis de faire connaissance dans une ambiance conviviale et agréable. L'endroit où se trouve leur maison est tout simplement splendide. Nichée dans un environnement calme avec une vue à couper le souffle, la maison est un véritable havre de paix. Elle est non seulement bien équipée et confortable, mais elle dispose également d'une riche bibliothèque francophone et anglophone, ce qui a été un véritable plaisir pour nous. Et que dire de Nula, leur magnifique chienne! Dès les premiers moments, nous sommes tombés amoureux de cette adorable et bien éduquée chienne. Nula est pleine de vie et adore ses balades en forêt ainsi que courir après le bâton. Sa compagnie a été un véritable bonheur tout au long de notre séjour. En résumé, notre expérience chez Évelyne et Charles a été exceptionnelle. Leur accueil chaleureux, le cadre magnifique, la maison confortable et la charmante Nula ont fait de notre séjour une expérience inoubliable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with remarkable warmth and hospitality. Évelyne and Charles went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. The location of their home is simply splendid. Nestled in a peaceful environment with a breathtaking view, the house is a true haven of peace. It is not only well-equipped and comfortable, but also boasts a rich library of French and English books, which was a real pleasure for us. And what can we say about Nula, their magnificent dog! From the very first moments, we fell in love with this adorable and well-behaved dog. Nula is full of life and loves her walks in the forest as well as chasing after sticks. Her company was a true joy throughout our stay. In summary, our experience at Évelyne and Charles's home was exceptional. Caitlin and Ruthie both made me feel right at home. Their home was cozy and very close to Carytown and downtown Richmond, but far enough away to avoid the city if you wanted. Ruthie is a bundle of energy and a ferocious cuddler lol! She will follow you allll over the house and never leave your side. Going on walks and tearing around the backyard were her favorite times, except for getting extra cuddles from a couple of my trusted friends Caitlin was kind enough to allow me to have over so I was a little less lonely. <3 The entire sit was easy, and if you need a spunky lap dog just waiting to love on you, then you belong here, clearly.
Scout is a little blessed happy boy in a big body. He was the best to take care of and made my stay with him such a good time. Definitely going to miss his morning cuddles, little grumbles and ball time. Emma and James were so wonderful and kind with anything I needed. They left instructions about the house and Scout, which made the stay fuss-free. The house itself has everything you would need for a comfortable stay and it's pretty close to the city.
We had a good time house-sitting at Alison and John's warm, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped home. Alison was very relaxed but also helpful and informative, and it was good to do a round of the animals, and a dog walk on the amazing beach, before we took over. Friends nearby were welcoming and helpful too. The animals were a joy to look after - all are really nice 'people'!
