Dog Sitters in Ferragudo

Louise & Nigel were great and we really appreciate the way they looked after both our pets and our house. Louise was an excellent communicator and we felt completely relaxed knowing everything was in their care . We came home to a spotless house with the sheets and towels washed which was very kind and thoughtful. There was a problem with the lights in the kitchen and Nigel and Louise dealt with it without hesitation or missing a beat. Mino, Dash and Flick were all looking wonderfully well and Min had particularly appreciated all the walks and trips to the cafes in the village! I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them and am REALLY hoping they might like to come back at some time in the future!

Haley and her family are brilliant housesitters! She’s organised, super clean and tidy and did everything asked and more. They’ve done a great job with Peggy’s training and looked after all three dogs and hens with no fuss whatsoever. The house was absolutely immaculate when we returned and the dogs were well cared for. Definitely a 5 star sitter.

Marcus and Caroline were great house sitters. They were on time, easy to communicate with and Ted was very well looked after. We received regular updates with photos which were much appreciated. Our home was well cared for too including the watering of my plants. I would recommend them to anyone wanting their pet and home looked after whilst they are away.

Tom and Keith were amazing, I cannot recommend them more. They were very organised, and made sure they had asked any questions they needed to before the sit. We left instructions for our dog, cats and tortoises and they had no problems following them. The house was left super tidy, and all the animals were incredibly relaxed and happy when we returned. The perfect sitters. The real test of how amazing they were was demonstrated in how incredibly understanding and relaxed they were about the water issue we had during their sit. The day before we left for our holiday, we discovered a problem with the water supply to our house. There was just a trickle of water. We had to get plumbers in whilst they were there, and they had to cope with very little water during the sit. We were so worried during this time about it all, and they were so wonderful in coping with it. Thank you Tom and Keith, we welcome you back any time should you wish to return, and I promise this time no water issues!

Michael and Chantelle are a delightful young couple and settled in well to a 6 week sit for us. We had more contact with Michael who sent us regular updates and photos. They seemed to love being in the country and to have a big garden at their disposal. I should have perhaps given more direction about watering plants in pots but otherwise everything was in good order for our return. I would recommend them as sitters.

Troy and Rika were very kind and responsible pet-sitters for my two cats. Because they were already in the area, they took the time to come by and meet with me before staying at the house. They were flexible and responsive about all of our arrangements and communications. They also left the house spotlessly clean.

Jan and David were a charming couple who spent a night before we left early the next day. We had a very jolly supper with them and got yo Know them They looked after Tigger extremely well who has sulked since they left! The house was very tidy and clean when we returned and Tigger looked in fine fettle A real bonus was that David had cleared all the leaves around the house after a storm in the previous days had brought down most of the leaves We would certainly invite them again

The pets seemed very happy with Vanessa and it was clear that she took great care for them all. Vanessa was very pleasant throughout the entire process which made it easy and reassuring. Vanessa left the flat in a great shape too. Would definitely recommend Vanessa :)

June and David were all that we could have hoped for, and more! They are such a lovely couple who were calm and reassuring (this was our first time using zeewoi) - they really put us at ease even before their arrival. We felt completely comfortable leaving our dogs and home in their care. They were 100% reliable with contact before the sit and then respected the amount of contact we wanted while on holiday. Our dogs clearly loved them and seemed so happy and content with them. June and David clearly have lots of experience with animals and quickly understood what was required and carried it all out perfectly. Our house was immaculate when we arrived home, the dogs were happy and there was even supper waiting for us in the fridge. June and David went above and beyond what we expected and we really hope that they will be able to sit for us again at some point. We feel so lucky to have had such a positive experience!

If I could give Lila 10 stars I would! She was proactive, responsive, kind, lovely to communicate with, responsible, flexible and adaptable, and incredibly tidy. She left the house spotless and took wonderful care of our cats. She was extremely flexible in helping us out with unexpected travel hitches, being able to stay an extra day at short notice. We are incredibly grateful to Lila for taking the worries about our fur babies off our shoulders, and I feel very fortunate to have met her - and knowing that she lives close by I hope she will perhaps come and stay again! Thank you Lila, we loved having you here :)

Michelle, was my first experience of a sitter and has set a high bar. She looked after my buddies like they were her own. My feral cat who runs from all humans made an exception with Michelle, the cat whisperer. Lightbulbs went, a tap broke, i was mortified while Michelle took everything in her stride. Storm my precious indoor buddy, escaped. Michelle, retrieved her safely, understood her separation anxiety and mine, and was very patient with her. Michelle sent regular updates, providing peace of mind, this was everything. I highly recommend Michelle as someone you can trust with your nearest and dearest, and your home. She also happens to be a fascinating person. It was pleasure to meet and chat with Michelle. Me and the four legged family, can't thank her enough.

Mindi and Nadine were unbelievably attentive and I almost feel that the animals had more fun with them then with us! Mindi sent us regular updates- videos and photographs - and looked after our house and everything around it/ in it the whole time we were away. They were both kind and fun and gentle and loving - all of the things that you would want from a house sitter. The house was tidy on return. I could not recommend more highly.
