Our experience with Emily and her wonderful daughter Lyssi as house and pet sitters was absolutely outstanding! From start to finish, they demonstrated exceptional care and professionalism, leaving us thoroughly impressed and at ease during our time away. Communication was top-notch throughout the entire process. Emily kept me updated regularly with messages and even sent me adorable pictures of Izzy. These updates meant the world to me and helped alleviate any concerns I may have had about leaving Izzy behind. It was clear from the moment they walked through our door that Emily and Lyssi genuinely cared for animals. They quickly formed a special bond with Izzy, and it was heartwarming to see them interact. I could tell that they treated Izzy as if she were their own, providing her with the attention, love, and care she needed. Upon our return, I was overjoyed to find our home in impeccable condition. It was evident that Emily and Lyssi had taken great care to ensure everything was clean, organized, and exactly as we had left it. This attention to detail truly exceeded our expectations and made our homecoming even more pleasant. We have no hesitation in saying that we would wholeheartedly welcome Emily and Lyssi into our home again. Their exceptional service, genuine passion for animals, and respectful treatment of our property make them an absolute dream team for any house and pet sitting needs. If you're looking for trustworthy, caring, and responsible sitters, look no further than Emily and Lyssi. We are immensely grateful for their exceptional service and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a reliable house and pet sitting duo.

Lyn
We felt very comfortable in Lyns very cosy house and garden. Lyn is a very likeable and nice person, we felt very very welcome.

Henry is a nice, cuddly tomcat. He was a lot outside but also daily in the house to be cuddled and to be fed.

The landscape and the small village Villedieu les Poeles are super beautiful and we could do a lot of nice excursions in the surrounding area.
We would love to come back at any time.

I had a wonderful time taking care of Hank & chicken. Hank absolutely stole my heart and is just a giant sweetheart on constant lookout for cuddles. The house and surrounding area are beautiful and Hugh was a great host, I felt very welcomed into their home. Hank is also a wonderful hiking partner who will happily lead you through the trails surrounding the house and back home again, never leaving your side. I hope for the opportunity to visit again!

A really nice house in a great part of Calgary. The kitties Klaus and Loki are perfect gentlemen and warmed up to me gradually over the 4 days I stayed with them. Their care instructions were clearly laid out and the guest room I stayed in was so comfortable!

The cats, Frankie and Millie, live in a hamlet outside Corgnac Sur L’isle, a small village in Perigord nearer to Thiviers than Brantome. There is a pharmacy and general store as well as a fairly good restaurant and bar. The area is very similar to the Wye Valley/Forest of Dean area in the UK with some beautiful countryside suitable for the keen walker and cyclist and lots of small villages and towns to explore, along with the markets at Thivier and Excideuil, where the closest supermarkets also were.
Frankie and Millie are loving cats and spent a long time on our laps for lots of strokes. Frankie had been quite unwell for some time, so got lots of love and care to which he responded well. During the first week it necessitated a lot of communication with the HO and a visit to the vets, but once it was decided not to continue with his chemotherapy, his mobility improved and he even climbed the stairs to sleep on the landing sometimes. It was very sad to leave him and Millie at the end of the sit.
The lack of a welcome pack meant that the responsibility for all aspects of the sit devolves to the sitter so a good memory and notetaking is important. We stayed the night before Cathryn and Larry went away and they gave us a welcoming meal and walked us through most aspects of care for the home and the cats the night before the sit started and, although nothing went wrong during the sit, we would have approached life in Corgnac with more confidence had we had a welcome pack to consult, for example, operating domestic appliances and the awareness of outside cameras. It was a bit cold sometimes as the weather in February is similar to that of the UK and so we used the wood burner most evenings. The home is clean and tidy, with all mod cons, while the stairs is in typical French style, which could be challenging to anyone with mobility issues.
On the whole we enjoyed our sit, with the best thing being able to look after and have the company of 2 super cats, and the worst thing was having to leave them.

Thoroughly enjoyed this housesit which was the second one I’ve done with mum.

Jackie and Richard were very welcoming; their home is in a peaceful location at the end of a quiet lane and is surrounded by beautiful countryside and views, which we thoroughly enjoyed looking at from their outdoor hot-tub! Their home is very spacious and comfortable with an inviting wood fire.

Their dog Neville is super-sweet and she’s very easy to look after; as she’s getting on a bit now she was quite happy to do her daily exercise around the home’s grounds. Neville loves fuss and would have you stroking her and scratching her back all day if she could!

Ludlow is a 15 minute drive away and is a bustling town with numerous pubs and restaurants.

We thoroughly enjoyed our sit and would love to return in the future.

Thank you Jackie & Richard!

Best

I was so sad to leave Arthur ! He was a shy cat at first, but we quickly became friends. He is really cuddly and so cute ! Carol welcomed me very well, and the instructions were very clear. It was a real pleasure to take care of his house and Arthur. Thank you again for everything, take good care of yourself.
