Cat Sitters in Ferry Village, NY

Sheila was our first pet sitter experience, and we were quite nervous and hesitant at first having someone new look after our kitties while we were gone. But we couldn't have asked for a better caretaker and person to do the job! Sheila also has two cats and is very familiar with pet care and also administering medication, which was one of our biggest concern with Apollo. Sheila was very responsive from the beginning, responded to messages timely and also offered to do a video call before her visit. She put us at ease from the beginning and we were confident that she will be a great match to look after our kitties. Sheila was good at providing us with pictures and updates in the morning and evening, not too much to disrupt our time away, but just enough so that we don't have to worry. She demonstrated a great ability to follow our instructions/guidelines to help maintain our kitties daily routine to avoid any stress and anxiety on their part. Sheila left our home tidy and clean, and with a little gift to put a smile on our faces when we got home. Our kitties missed us a lot for sure, but they were in good spirits and we could tell that they were well taken care of and given lots of love and attention. We would definitely have Sheila back again!

Natalie and Jewell were absolutely wonderful with our cats and home! A few days before the sit was to begin, I wrote to Natalie and Jewell that the last antibiotic treatment for our senior cat, Herbie, had not produced the desired results and that Herbie was still sneezing with a yucky dripping nose, and offered to let them out of the stay if they were so inclined. They said they would come anyway, and took great care of the cats and the house. They even left us yummy pastries from our local bakery. These two are a treasure!

Lise was so amazing. We coordinated our trips perfectly and she was very easy to plan with. She was especially wonderful with my dog, extremely active and loving. I arrived home to a non-anxious joyful puppy. I am so grateful that she made this trip so easy and my house was spotless too!!!

Rae was a fantastic sitter. She was very easy to communicate with. She kept in touch often while we were away. Asked plenty of questions to ensure she knew what was happening. The house was in perfect condition when we returned, and Neala was well looked after and very happy.

Jeanne was fabulous! She loved my dog as if he were her own, was incredibly sensitive to his needs, sent me frequent texts and photos, kept my house plants healthy, kept the bird feeders full, and even remembered the weekly dose of plant food for my ailing Rose of Sharon bush. I would have her back here in a heartbeat!

Trish & Chandra were wonderful! They were very considerate and caring. Their dog, Georgie, was well behaved and played so well with our dog, Blu. They kept in touch just enough to let us know how Blu was doing and that all was well. We arrived home from our vacation in the early hours of the morning and Chandra and Trish were so accommodating. They stayed late and made sure that Blu was alone for only a few hours. Blu was obviously happy in their care and loved having Georgie for a playmate! The house AND YARD were clean…we really appreciated that! Thank you so much Trish & Chandra!! We look forward to having you visit again!

Grace and Josh were wonderful house and pet sitters. Pups got lots of walks and love. We got photo updates everyday. The house was in pristine shape upon return. The dogs were happy campers. We would have this lovely couple back to stay anytime!

I was fortunate enough to have found Veronica on this site to watch my dog and my house while I was away for more than a month. Upon first meeting her I was so impressed with how she was with my dog, who can be unruly at times and a known escape artist. My biggest fear in having a pet sitter is that my pup would escape and get lost, or worse. Veronica took excellent care of my girl, was diligent with keeping her from her escape antics, and sent me frequent updates and photos. Veronica is a pleasure to know and a tidy and neat housekeeper. I was able to return home feeling confident that all was well. I highly recommend Veronica as a pet sitter, trainer, companion and house sitter and can't wait to have her back in the future. Christa was wonderful! Took great care of Miso (my cat) and sent regular updates and picture. She cleaned my apartment even and wrote a very sweet card and left chocolates. I will have Christa watch Miso from now on!

SHELLEY IS AMAZING!!! Truly- I don't know what I could have possibly done to deserve the care Shelley and her daughter Jen gave to our pets and our home. They faced truly abysmal weather here in New Orleans and could have re-routed their whole trip to find better weather, but they kept their commitment to us. The house was sparkling and neat as a pin when we returned. Our very own network of spies (i.e.- the friends at the dog park where Shelley kept our daily 7:00 AM appointment) said that they were the best sitters we have ever had. Our skiddish Labradoodle and lazy beagle loved them at first sight. If you have a chance to have Shelley house sit for you then count yourself lucky because she is a treasure. Like Mary Poppins for pets. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
