Ai & Samuel
I had a wonderful time staying in Ais apartment and taking care of Big Appa. Appa is a very social cat and any cat lover would love to stay and take care of him. He loves to play and cuddle and is just great company! The apartment is very cosy and in a great location close to lots of cool restaurants, markets and with easy access to a bus that takes you downtown. All communication with Ai has been very easy and pleasant and I would definitely recommend this sit to all cat lovers.

Sherrie
Sherrie and Bob are the kind you feel like have been your friends for a long time. Their historic house in a historic country town brings back feelings of an earlier era where people lived in small villages in the country. We loved it there and we loved all their friendly animals. Great house sit.

Pauline
Our house sit with 67 animals and pets (mostly fowl) was challenging but rewarding. We became quite knowledgeable about Indian Runners (there were 27 or was that 28?), young turkeys (4), chickens (12 plus), and Barbary ducks. We also had 12 ducklings who hatched while we were there. The challenge was to get all of these into four different “apartments” at night. The reward was to watch their antics, feed them, provide them with a clean home at night by adding more hay, taking care of the vegetable and flower garden (and being able to pick as needed), relaxing in the hot tub after our duties were over, driving in the countryside (so amazingly traffic free and lovely), meeting neighbors (Dutch and French), sampling the wonderful food, driving to Spain for lunch, visiting the Pyrenees which are awesome, hiking, and finding swimming areas when the heat turned on. They have a lovely grange, a barn with an open second floor which gives you a full panoramic view of the Pyrenees and some lovely cud chewing local cows when in the field. Pauline and MIchael are great people to meet and share stories with. Pauline is an amazing force: painter, gardener, and poultry farmer. Wonderful woman. And we loved Michael who has a grand sense of humor and is thoughtful and generous. Did we mention two dogs and two cats? Yes, they were all part of the menagerie, and very easy to manage. We stayed three weeks. At the end we were tired, but we had so many unusual experiences and adventures that it was all worth it. I didn’t even touch on where to go in the area...local markets abound, local fetes, a monastery to walk to, so many paths to explore, the local beer "hall", the wonderful villagers, etc. It is an experience.

Eddie & Rebecca
We had a perfect time on this sit!! Devi & Munch are the most amazing and loveable pets, and we will miss them both so much! Munch is such a chill, chatty and super cuddly little guy. When he wasn't asleep somewhere around the house, he would come find us for some chats and cuddles. Devi is such a gorgeous, healthy and well behaved angel. She warmed up to us quickly, showed us lots of affection and was so much fun to be around. We really enjoyed prepping her food for her and doing the obedience training - it's easy and she listens so well. Our camera roll is overflowing with cute moments with these two <3

Eddie and Rebecca were excellent hosts. Communication was always top notch, their welcome guide had everything you could need and they also gave us a thorough walkthrough when we arrived at their house, so we were perfectly prepared! Their home is beautiful, it was super clean and tidy, and it has so many fun amenities. The room we stayed in was super comfortable, and we just overall had an excellent time.

Collingwood is such a peaceful and cute town with lots to see and do. We had the best time and would look after Devi & Munch again in a heartbeat!!

If you love nature and music this is just the right sit for you! :)
I had a wonderful time at Elizabeths place. She picked me up at the Hastings station and drove me to a nearby shop before arriving and I felt very welcome and safe in her beautiful house. Elizabeth gave me really good advice for live music in local pubs. She has a lot of passion for dancing, and even showed me some Lindy Hop basic steps after dinner, which was great fun :)
Pudding and Pumpkin are sweet and easy to care for. Both of the are rather shy but if you have enough patience Pudding will come to sit on your lap while you are on the couch. She did it twice with me and I felt very honoured. As for Hastings: I immediately fell in love with that town! The house is amazingly located only 15min footwalk to the old town of Hastings with many antiques shops, sweet cafés and Pubs with amazing live music. It's also only 15min walk to the Hastings country park with an amazing view of the cliffs and where you can do hikes in nature that feels very wild and at the same time is just around the corner of the city!
100% recommendation for this sit! I would come back anytime :)
