Jacob and Davina were a perfect fit for us while we were gone. Our old dog went inexplicably blind just a week before they came, and they were awesome caretakers for this guy with new special needs. They were able to follow specific directions we really wanted followed as our dog learned how to deal with his new vision (lack of vision!). We got some text and photo updates, which is always a nice touch, and they left the house clean and tidy. Our dog was perfectly content and comfortable when we returned. They were great communicators and kind people. If they had questions they would ask. I would definitely recommend them.
Pamela is a gracious host and this was a wonderful sit! Her pets - Bailey, Domino and Olive are such loving fur babies and a joy to be with. They all get along amazingly well and it's really fun to watch their interactions. Bailey and Domino are patient with Olive the kitten and also have a different and unique affection for each other. It was hard to say goodbye to them. They did all 3 sleep in the bed with me, taking their usual spots exactly as Pamela had described. What's so amazing is they sleep all night and don't move unless I do. Bailey loves his daily walks and Pamela's neighborhood has beautiful nature walking paths throughout in many directions. It was fun to walk her and enjoy the quiet nature surroundings. When we returned, Olive would be waiting on the rug by the front door for us to return. She is fun to play with and loves being pet too. Domino is a little more timid at first, but when feels safe, he quickly comes out from under the bed and joins in. He has a favorite chair that he will jump in your lap if you sit there! Pamela's house is beautiful and quiet. I loved sitting by the fireplace and cooking in the gourmet kitchen. This sit was a real treat and I highly recommend it!
