Our sit in Catherine and Richard's lovely home was a joy. Catherine was extremely helpful in the run up to the sit when travel rules were uncertain and she and Richard were wonderful hosts giving us a warm welcome and a delicious dinner. Their home is beautiful and we were made extremely comfortable. The house is in the largely unknown Gers region which has lots of fascinating little villages and towns and great value plat du jour! Catherine is very well organised with excellent notes about the house, dogs and the area. Most importantly the dogs - Monte, Lazlo and Scamper were an absolute delight to look after. They're very well behaved and loving, keeping us company, making us laugh and giving lots of cuddles. There are plenty of walks both direct from the house and within easy driving distance. We really miss them! If you're lucky enough to be offered this sit, don't hesitate. It's highly recommended.
It was a peaceful weekend at Rachel’s with Murray and Gabi! A lovely , homey condo and both Murray and Gabi loved lots of cuddles- the perfect companions :)
My sit for Lamandra was great! I thoroughly enjoyed taking care of Pali and Lenny throughout the week, and I already miss them! Lamandra and her family kindly invited me to arrive the night before the sit started so I could get settled in and go over important routines for the boys. The home was spotless, and very comfortable throughout the stay. The downstairs basement is where the sitter's room and bathroom are, and both were also very comfortable and had everything I needed. The neighborhood is quiet, and in a good location. There are plenty of accessible grocery stores around, but you will need a car. Lamandra was also easy to get ahold of during the sit. The pups themselves were wonderful. Lenny is a loving, affectionate and goofy boy who is a velcro dog, so he will follow you around and make you feel like you're his absolute favorite human. Pali is less rambunctious, and more of a gentle, sweet boy who has a funny way of showing his affection by dropping his head and asking for neck scratches. Both boys will bark at people and dogs walking past the house, but they follow commands well and it's fairly easy to calm them. They're both well trained, and will also listen to commands well on walks. The one thing that sitters should know is Lenny is quite reactive to other dogs on walks. It's necessary to keep a short leash whenever you can't avoid other dogs and start saying "heel" and "leave it" as soon as he spots the other dog. This will greatly reduce the likelihood of barking/lunging. Pali sometimes reacts to other dogs, but far less frequently than Lenny. These boys were an absolute pleasure to take care of and given the opportunity, I would return! Highly recommend this sit for others :)

Lin and team have been walking and boarding my black lab over the last 6 years and I cannot recommend them enough. They treat my dog like a member of their own family and my dog leaps out of the front door when Lin turns up to collect her. Our 11 month old Welsh Terrier stayed with Lovin’ Paws for 9 days in January 2022. I have to say that Lin was fantastic with him and really looked after our boy and he had a real home from home experience. From adventure walks; to socialisation with other daycare and boarding pups and dogs to evening cuddles; Lin provided a fantastic service as well as keeping us updated with photos and chat on our pup. Our dog ted has been going To loving paws since he was 12 weeks old and now he’s 3.5 years old. He started walks with Lin and now also walks with her Son Dean. We also take advantage of the great dog boarding service too. Ted love going out with loving paws. Everyone is so kind, loving and caring. Ted always feels like one of the family! He has so much fun with his friends on his walks with so many different spots he’s taken too. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough to anyone looking to put their pooches into safe hands! Ted sits and waits and looks for the van as soon as it turns up he is crying with excitement and can’t control his wagging tail!
I’ve been using Lin and Dean at loving Paws for over 3 years now. My dog Teddy couldn’t be happier when he hears the van pull up outside the front or we pull down the drive to Lins House, his tail tells us of his pure excitement! Lin and Dean are so dependable and passionate about what they do and I wouldn’t have Ted go out for walks and sleepovers with anyone else! Thank you for all you do! Amy xx
Snoop has stayed with Lin for a week and been for daycare / walks. He loves her very much and I feel so happy and confident that he’s safe and very well cared for. Lin kept me updated on what he was up to during the week too with photos and messages - which was lovely. I highly recommend!
Dottie our Irish terrier has been walking with dean for a few months. Dottie is always very excited when he turns up and waits at the door for him. Dean is very attentive and really cares for all the dogs he walks. Couldn’t recommend enough.

I can't recommend Jackie enough ! She looked after our little one while we were away for our wedding. We were sent many daily pup-dates with wonderful pictures. She was taken care of like one of their own and learnt so much socialising and trying new enrichment activities. I would trust Jackie 100% with my pup as she loves it there so much and is so well taken care of !
Bruce our dachshund loves going to spend time with Jackie and the other pooches in her care. As we get closer to her house, he realises where he’s going and starts to get excited. When collecting him he doesn’t want to leave! The amount of time, care, effort and passion Jackie has for looking after Bruce and the other dogs is not only amazing, but also reassuring. The regular photo and video updates are great to put my mind at ease, especially when Bruce has boarded. Finch Furry Friends is 100 times more than your normal day care / boarding - it’s socialisation, enrichment, exercise and games. Bruce’s confidence has grown since attending and is becoming a regular for sleepovers and day care. Thank you Jackie for the great care and love you show Bruce when he attends. My Atlas has been going to Jackie’s daycare for nearly 2 years ad hoc. She has helped us out in the last couple of weeks by having my dog a lot more each week while a family member recovers from an op . He always has lots of fun, walks and cuddles. Yet again, our beautiful cockapoo Tayto had a lovely weeks stay with Jackie & her family. We had regular daily updates by photos, messages and videos. I have just returned from my summer holidays, which to put into context has been the longest time I have ever left Rolo since getting him one year ago.. We have enjoyed lots of mini breaks and socialisation days leading up to this long holiday and all I can say is I’m so glad I found Jackie and Finch Furry Friends. As others have testified, Jackie goes above and beyond ensuring that the pooches in her charge are well looked after and stimulated during their stay. The numerous photos and video updates are always so reassuring to know he is having as good a time as us so there is never a need to worry. It’s an added bonus that Jackie is very selective with the breeds that she cares for. An extra assurance that our small breeds are socialising with similar sized pooches and don’t ever feel overwhelmed or anxious. Rolo always looks forward to visiting Jackie and her family as well as all the other lovely doggies she has in her charge. It has been great to see Rolo grow and fully embrace these experiences to socialise. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Finch Furry Friends to anyone in the local area with a small breed in need of daycare or boarding.

We have used Jackie multiple times to walk Nala, our little miniature dachshund, whilst we are away on holiday. Jackie is so friendly and professional, we trust her completely. Kevin and Cristal are extremely likeable and recently looked after our 15 month old Labrador, Luna for a 4 night stay....Luna was extremely well looked after and obviously enjoyed her time with them...would highly recommend to anyone looking for a trusting dog carer

My regular dog sitter was fully booked, so needless to say I was quite nervous about finding a new sitter for my furry baby while we were supposed to go on vacation. After intensive search for a new host, I got in touch with Kevin & Crystal from Buddy's Pet Care. Chester usually barks at strangers, needs a bit of time to warm up to people. As soon as we got at their place for a meet and greet, instead of barking he was all kisses and jumps of joy. I realized that Chester will be in good hands during his 3 weeks stay with them. During our vacation, I received updates with photos and comforting words to let me know that Chester was doing great. It was obvious that they care about dogs - loves and treats them as they are their own. Kevin and Crystal are beyond awesome. Thank you very much for putting me at ease and for taking such a good care of our boy. Highly recommended for all the pet parents. 5 Stars review, very well deserved. We have booked already Chester’s stay with them for our Christmas vacation.

Kevin and Cristal are great. Really knowledgeable and lovely - super accommodating. I picked up my two dogs from an overnight stay and they were very happy - they had been brilliantly taken care of and they clearly really like Cristal, Kevin and Buddy! Total peace of mind.
When my parents were unexpectedly taken ill at very short notice, Kevin was able to collect my parent’s puppy and look after him for us, while they recovered. Initially this was to be for a long weekend, and they ended up having Toby for two weeks. Very reliable, and totally flexible, nothing was too much trouble for Kevin and Crystal. Toby has obviously been extremely well looked after, and has come home happy and well. We will definitely use their services again, and recommend to all our doggy friends.
Our dogs love it. They are well cared for and happy to go each time! They also offer boarding if you need it. We left our dogs for a week while we were away on a trip that wasn't dog friendly. They were happy and healthy and while pleased to see us visible happy to be at buddy's.
Jan 2023: Our dog has just spent the last 2.5 years with Buddy, Kevin and Cristal. Our dog would bound out the front door, so excited to see them - they've been a huge part of his development. Kevin and Cristal treated our dog like their own and gave us advice when we asked for it. Freddie spent many nights and a few weeks whilst we went away, without a single issue. So sad we have now moved away from the area, but hoping our dog gets his holidays at Buddy's still. Thank you Kevin and Cristal, you're amazing! Nov 2020: Our dog absolutely loves his days with Buddy and the other pooches. We haven't used Buddy's for any overnights yet, just daycare - but we won't hesitate too.
Kevin has looked after our outdoor rabbit on several occasions and he is always reliable, trustworthy, does an excellent job and often goes above and beyond. When it was very hot he put ice bottles out for the bunny to cool down against! We will continue to be using him and thoroughly recommend his services for any pets.
We used Kevin from Buddy's Pet Care to pop in & look after our cat whilst we were away on holiday and we couldn't be happier with the service! Very personable service from start to finish, with everything thought out and more - nothing was too much trouble & our cat well looked after & more importantly happy! We have a 4 1/2 year old Beagle named Wilhelmina (Willy), she recieves excellent care from Juanita and enjoys her stay. Willy gets so excited when she sees Juanita and runs to greet her with her tail wagging. Proof in the dogs behaviour that she likes her Minder and enjoys her company.
Once again a great service from Peter and his team. It was Rachel this time who looked after my cats. She was wonderful, provided great communication with short daily reports and photos. It so helps to feel relaxed while on holiday knowing your pets are well looked after. I came back to a very clean feeding area and litter tray and I do know how messy my cats, so I guess Rachel did a fair amount of cleaning too. Very pleased. Highly recommend.
Amazing service from start to finish! Peter offers an extremely professional service and our rabbits were so well cared for while we were away, he provided daily updates and we felt in safe hands at all times. We also had a small mishap at home while we were away & Peter stepped in to assist, above & beyond! Cannot recommend highly enough, will definitely be a new regular customer of Peters!
We've met Peter last year, we've had lots of struggling with our babes and there needs, especially our Niko JRT is very anxious with other dogs and animals, we had spoke with lots of different pet sitters from surrounding areas and no one didn't tick our boxes apart from Peter and his team, he savers us best service ever you could expect, superb individual with our babes. We are so pleased to stick with him and his team forever as they did the graetst job and we've had received reports every day when we was away and pics of our happy dogs spending time with Peter, lots of fun. Our dog has been going to day care at Stablecroft for nearly four years, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she receives. The staff are absolutely lovely—kind, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to the dogs in their care. Knowing that our dog is in such good hands gives us complete peace of mind. She always seems excited to go and comes home happy and content. Stablecroft is truly a fantastic place, and we’re so grateful for everything they do. Highly recommended.
I thoroughly recommend Stablecroft when it comes to dog daycare! They have looked after our pup since she was 9months old and we have had a brilliant experience. The facilities are amazing and all the staff are so friendly, will provide feedback from your dogs day as well as photos of them playing. It it a great place to encourage socialisation in a structured and safe way. Your dogs safety and happiness are put first and this is demonstrated by how excited our pup is when we arrive each week.
I’ve been sending my pup to Stablecroft for the last 3 years and they take excellent care of her. She loves the team and you can see they take dog welfare seriously. We had a trial day at first and we got to see the facilities to make sure we were all happy. I highly recommend Stablecroft.

Marley LOVES going to Stablecroft. It’s the highlight of his week. On the way there in the car he whines with excitement and then once we get out the car he nearly pulls us off our feet! He doesn’t even look back! Everyone there is lovely, kind, and helpful. It is very well run and organised.
Connie loves her time at Stablecroft each week and we know she is in good hands. The team are excellent and passionate about looking after the dogs. We are given regular feedback and photos of playtime!
We attended the 5 wk puppy training classes. Really good insight to learning the basic commands and the trainer was excellent, she spent time individually with everyone too. Our dog Indie (4months) was receptive to the training and we found it easy to follow. Class notes at the end of each week would have helped rather than the end of the course but that’s such a minor point. Overall was fab! We’ve returned to use other services such as the shop which is amazing and the grooming parlour. Thanks Stablecroft!
Ryan and the team take care of my pup as if he is their own. I have confidence and peace of mind when going on holiday. My dog loves his time there and benefits so much from the socialisation and structured play.
So happy that we have found somewhere that our Dog really enjoys going to. He is so excited when Ryan picks him up and when he comes home he wants his Dinner and a nap after all the adventures he has had. Our Dogs socialisation has really improved and so has his behaviour. I started using LR Vet Nurse Pet Services last year when my dog was 6 months old. Since then I’ve used them so many times, I’ve lost count. From 1 day stays to 8 night stays. My dog loves it there and it feels like a home from home, safe, caring & fun! I can definitely recommend them!
Lizzie has looked after our dogs for years. We never worry while we are away and the dogs love her... which speaks for itself. Her vet nurse qualification provides excellent peace of mind.
Don’t go anywhere else, Lizzie is the best around. Whether it’s dog, cat or anything else, she brings her vet nurse experience to play to deliver a great all round service.
