We have boarded our Golden Retriever/Bernese Mountain Dog mix at Oakwood Kennel for years with confidence. Aside from that expert care, Oakwood has provided wonderful and much-needed grooming for our dog with her long, thick hair. Oakwood has been grooming my two Golden Retrievers for 6 years. They do an excellent job and know how to deal with a large amount of fluff and curls. They always come home looking beautiful and happy. I also board them there when we go out of town and that too has been a good experience.

I brought our new canine companion to Julie at Oakwood Kennels 5 years ago. Our Labradoodle named Honey was 2 1/2 years old when we purchased her from a breeder in Northwest Ohio. She had not been socialized and had lived in a kennel her first 2 1/2 years of life. I enrolled Honey in an obedience class with Julie and that was just the beginning of a very warm and caring relationship between Honey and Julie. We board Honey there whenever we are out of town and Julie also does her grooming and monthly bath. We are very happy with her care and appreciate knowing that we are leaving our girl in good hands when we are out of town

We have been using their boarding and grooming services since 2003. We have also taken part in the obedience training when our dogs were puppies. Great care is given and we never worry. The grounds and kennel/grooming facility are immaculate! The staff is always attentive and very knowledgeable when we have questions or concerns. I highly recommend Oakwood Kennel!

We had Scales Tails and Paws watch our 3 cats over Christmas. Our oldest cat was 20 with diabetes and needed insulin twice a day. This team did such a good job taking care of our cats. I knew the oldest cat wouldn’t do well with us gone. He did end up getting sick, and Ingrid brought him to the vet for us. He unfortunately passed away, but Ingrid was there to love him through it. I am so thankful they were there for our old boy in his final days when we could not be. I highly recommend Ingrid and the crew at Scales Tails & Paws, especially if you have special needs pets.

We have been using this service for almost a year now for their dog walking services. It’s been smooth sailing from the get go. I love how you can book/request online easily. Communication has always been quick, efficient and clear. I feel very safe with anyone from this company coming into our home to walk our dogs, it’s usually the same two people but if it’s ever someone else they give me a heads up. To note our two dogs are large and tend to be a little wild so managing both of them can be a lot but they have never complained about caring for our dogs and have been able to manage them fine. In fact they tell us how much they have enjoyed them! My favorite part is the update with pictures they send to your phone after each visit. We don’t have a consistent need because we have odd work schedules but they have the option on their website to schedule consistent walks daily or weekly. Easy customer website portal to use, very user friendly. Would recommend to neighbors, friends and family to care for their pets! Pictures in post are pictures from updates they have sent me.

As I was recovering from surgery we used ScalesTails and Paws for our dogs daily morning walk. Morgan is the best. He was very attentive to her needs and by the last day she was giving Morgan kisses. I loved that Morgan even sent pictures and a recap of their walk each day. It was such a huge help to us each day .

These people are the greatest. As much as I hate to leave my fur babies when I travel, I 100% trust these people with my dogs. They always share pictures of my dogs from their visits as well what happened with each dog during the visit. I highly, highly recommend this company 🐾🐾🐾

We had the best experience today at Frosty Paws! I am typically anxious taking our dogs places, but we were given constant photo updates throughout the entire grooming process! All of my requests and concerns were taken seriously, and they made our pups look and feel so beautiful and soft!!! Our dogs are anxious babies, and they had the time of their lives. Extremely affordable for getting two 90+ lbs dogs groomed which is hard to find for their size. I couldn’t recommend this place more!!! ☺️

Our little boy Milo goes here for daycare a couple days a week. We did this after our lab died suddenly. We thought it would be good for him plus just more playing with other dogs. He loves it and the owners are awesome! Even tho he's only there about 4 hrs Misty sends me several pictures of him! We can tell when we walk him that he's more social with neighborhood dogs. So, it's been so great that they groomed him and he looked so good! If you need grooming, daycare or boarding call them! We're so glad we found them! Here's one of the pics Misty sent me. I ❤️ it!

We had to board our Brody for a week and were nervous about it but frosty Paws did an amazing job with him!! He had his own vacation playing and running. They took amazing care of him and I would use their services agian with out hesitation!!! They sent me daily text updates and pictures so I knew he was doing great!!! Thank you so much!!! Frosty Paws was amazing with my fur baby! They treated both her and I like family. I received daily updates about how her stay was going. Misty and her family are warm, friendly people who seem to truly love dogs and care for them like they were their own. Jeanette watched my 17 year old cat for 5 days recently. 2x a day w/ medicine in a pill pocket. I am so pleased with the care and love given to my old girl during my absence. I received thorough descriptions, pictures and videos during each of these visits. Jeanette even brought wet cat food treats for her to try when I mentioned she wasn’t enjoying her current wet food, which she loved. The entire experience was so easy and comforting while I was away and would recommend Jeanette and her team to ANYONE looking for any care for their furry companions. Jeanette did a wonderful job the few times I had her care for my cat. Within only two visits she was able to coax my stranger-wary cat out from under the bed for pets and playtime. Communication was frequent and I received several cute pictures each day I was gone. If I ever move back to the Columbus area, I would book through Fur Star again in an instant!

I used Fur Star Pet Care for the first time last week when I went on vacation. I was nervous because my cat had never been left alone for an extended amount of time - I was gone almost 9 days. Jeanette provided excellent care for my cat, who tends to be particular about what kind of food she eats. Jeanette was patient and even experimented with combining two flavors of food together. Every day I got a detailed message about how she was doing, including multiple photos (I don't know how she takes such great photos, but what a talent!), how the "bathroom" was going (absolutely no issues there), and what progress had been made with my cat's level of comfort with her. By the end of the week, my cat was purring, playing a little, and eating fine, both regular food and treats. Jeanette also brought in my mail for me which I really appreciated and turned my living room lights on and off since I had lost my light timer. Also, the rates are very reasonable for the service provided. I can't say enough good things about Jeanette and Fur Star. What great service and I will most certainly use them again!

Fur Star Pet Care is a fantastic pet sitting service that I’ve been using for a few years for my cats. Jeanette is a wonderful sitter who genuinely cares about the cats. She sends several pictures every day she visits and provides very thorough updates. She has gone above and beyond for me many times when problems come up. For example, she has helped the cats stay warm when my heat went out and attempted to fix my sink when she noticed it was clogged. I can’t say enough great things about Jeanette and her business. I highly recommend her service if you are looking for a pet sitter

Jeanette has been taking care of our two cats whenever we go away since we moved to Columbus a year and a half ago. She has come to feed and play with them many times (including during one long research trip), and they absolutely love her. We have used lots of pet sitters in the past, and Jeanette is by far the best person we’ve worked with. We always come home to a clean apartment, watered plants, collected mail and packages, and, most importantly, happy cats. 100% recommend.

Absolutely the BEST in-home pet care you can get! I've had them come in to take care of my cat a few times while I've been traveling, and they do an amazing job of making sure my little girl has everything she needs, and then some! Fabulous pet sitting service. Jeanette is absolutely wonderful. I travel in peace knowing she is watching my little fur ball while I’m away. I have an older cat who has experienced some health issues, but Jeanette and Fur Star take great care of him. Love that I get daily updates and photos.

Jeanette has taken care of our two cats for three years. They have truly developed a special relationship, and I always feel confident that they will be well taken care of when we leave town for a couple of days or even weeks. Jeanette knows their personalities and treats them with great kindness. Recently when my wife and I had our first baby, Jeanette made sure to be available around the unpredictability of the event, and we knew we would find two happy cats to greet our new baby. And, we love getting the updates and pictures twice a day!

I love Fur Star! I have 2 cats (1 with diabetes who requires insulin injections) and they take great care of them when I’m away. Each visit is documented (including with pictures) and they update you on everything they do during the visit. The website is really easy to use to book appointments and to communicate with the owner, Jeanette (who is awesome!), if any questions come up. If you are looking for a pet sitter, Fur Star is wonderful and I highly recommend them!

Finding Fur Star to care for our cats has changed our lives - I know that sounds hyperbolic but it's true. The values that these ladies have when it comes to pet care is remarkable. They truly treat our animals as if they were their own! Directions are followed without fail and they always find ways to go over and above. I never would have thought I'd find peace leaving my animals to anyone outside of family but I have! Their sense of humor in the photo updates they give is such a fun sprinkle on top of already amazing pet care. Love them to pieces!

We've been taking our pup to Kim's for several months and he loves Kim and Stephen and adores their kids! He is always so excited when we drop him off and loves playing in the big water tubs. They're super flexible which has been helpful with our rambunctious dude!

Kimberly and Steven are awesome!! They’re flexible and so helpful when my schedule is crazy. Their number 1 priority is the dogs’ happiness, safety and health. They send photos often while my dog is their guest. And my dog LOVES running around in their fenced in back yard with compatible dog friends and lots of toys. We love taking our Maverick over to Kim’s relaxing pup castle. We take Mavy over to great a break from The house, doggie socialize and build on our social skills. This family owned business has been great at communication; supplying us with updates throughout the day and tons of doggy photos. I highly recommend Kim’s; especially if you’re avoiding over crowding, more one on one vs the bigger corporations.

I struggled for weeks looking for a good daycare for my dog and was beyond thrilled to finally find Kim and Steven!! You can tell they actually care about every dog they watch and they are incredibly knowledgeable about proper dog care (food, training, health, socialization, etc.) After spending a few weeks at daycare with them, my dog Kevin, is so much more active and noticeably happier. I also love that Kim sends a lot of photos throughout the day so that I can relax knowing that he is happy!!

Sweetie loves going to Kim and Steven’s for daycare! It’s been the ideal place for our high energy pup to socialize while we’re at work. They take great care of her and she’s been much more mellow at night since she started going. Much love for Kim’s Relaxing Pup Castle!

Kim and her husband Steven took care of our pups over Christmas vacation. We traveling states away to Colorado, but after meeting Steven for a couple minutes when I dropped the dogs off I knew they were in capable hands. We loved seeing the pictures of our pups playing with the other dogs at daycare. It was so thoughtful of Kim and Steven to send us photos every couple days. We never even asked. It’s a five star touch on dog boarding for sure. Highly recommend this family for your dog care needs. Instead of coming home anxious and full of energy from being stuck in a run listening to other dogs bark, they came home tired and happy from plenty of social interaction with pups and people during their stay.

Kim & Steven are amazing with our pups! Pay close attention to their needs, great communicators and our pups love spending time there! The turf is a HUGE perk too because they never come home muddy. We tried 3 or 4 boarding facilities before we found them and now we have found the perfect match for our fur babies! Highly recommend them for booking your pups boarding stay. 😍☺️

We have been taking our dog Finn to Kim's Relaxing Pup's Castle for about 2 years now, and Kim and Steven are amazing!!! Finn is always so excited to go there, and they take amazing care of him. We travel and are at peace knowing our pup is being well taken care of. They are accommodating and flexible if they can, and we feel very lucky we have found them! I would highly recommend them for both boarding and daycare!

Our pup loves going to Kim’s! We’d had issues in the past when sending our girl to some of the bigger day care facilities, as she would get overwhelmed by the sheer number of dogs and a high dog-to-counselor ratio. Kim’s has been the perfect solution, with a smaller number of pups, intentional breaks, access to toys that give her other outlets, and of course some love and attention. Our pup is a nervous traveler but as soon as we turn onto Kim & Steven’s street, she realizes where she’s going and gets so excited. So grateful we found such an awesome option in our neighborhood!

I was looking for a place to board my dog and found Kim through a friend. The reference could not be more assertive! Yuca had tons of fun and I was relaxed during my time out of town! Kim kept me posted on Yuca's day and sent a lot of pictures everyday. I am looking forward to having Yuca going there more frequently for doggy day care as soon as we can! If you are looking for a reliable place for your dog to spend the day or several days, this is the place! No brain!

Rob is wonderful! He befriended our super timid cat by his second visit, and he provided us with frequent photos, updates, and details on how his visits were going. Wonderful facility, super thoughtful and kind, place is always clean. I take my German Shepherd to get her nails trimmed here because she is super sensitive about her paws. David is gentle and very sweet to her. He always gets her up on the platform right away and is always done within 2 minutes. The pet washing stalls are always clean and stocked with everything I need to bathe my pupster. Absolutely recommend!!

David is amazing!!! Brutus our German shepherd gets really anxious and David is so good w him! He is amazing w Maverick too, he is my 6 month old mini Goldendoodle. I started going to David when Brutus was about 2 and he is now 7 and I will not take him anywhere else!!! Brutus had a very bad experience elsewhere and he loves David!! This time Dixie was COVERED in burs and prickers from running around in the woods and farm. I picked her up and she looked like a brand new version of herself! David is the perfect groomer for my Persian cat. He is patient with her fluffy coat, and somehow manages to make her stunning each time I pick her up. David at Professional Pet Grooming & Dog Wash is amazing! We have been taking our Bichons to see him for many years and his new location is wonderful. His quality is so high we drive from Columbus monthly to see him. In addition to being a talented groomer, he has become a good friend and you can tell how much he loves our dog, Basil.

This is the only place that can trim my Great Danes nails. They are so good with the dogs. I've also used the self serve dog wash which is clean and has everything you need to get your babies clean and smelling good.

I hired Amanda to pet sit our 3 cats at the end of March as I was going away for a week on vacation. One of our cats recently had become ill and I needed extra care that could offer more of a routine other than our usual cat sitter (our friend's 11 year old daughter). During the 3ish weeks between hiring Amanda and us going away, I was still trying to determine what was wrong and let Amanda know upfront of the issues happening at home, also knowing I had some unknowns yet to figure out, including potentially having her administer medications. Unfortunately it did not come to that because when I finally received the diagnosis, I had to put my cat down, which was the day before we left on vacation. Amanda was so great and so understanding through the whole ordeal. Of course we still used Amanda for the week to sit the other two cats and I am so glad we did. I haven't been away from home for more than a few days at time since before the Pandemic so it was comforting knowing the furbabies were well taken care of and someone was routinely at the house, especially since I was out of the country. Amanda is extremely thorough and made recommendations I would not have thought of, making sure every aspect was covered, from emergency situations to knowing where their hiding places are. During our time away she sent daily updates through Facebook Messenger, which is something else she recommended given I was not in the states. She also recommended the emergency vet clinic that was finally able to give me a diagnosis after multiple vet visits and getting the runaround from other places. Shortly before my trip, one of my cats became ill and was prescribed supplements to be given with his food. Amanda handled everything easily and kept in close touch with me (sending pics and texts) about how both cats were doing. It really put my mind at ease knowing someone was providing such excellent care and checking on the house while I was away. I highly recommend Amanda and her company - give yourself the peace of mind that your pets are in good hands!

We asked Amanda to babysit our baby (cat) for almost 3 weeks and it was fabulous! Amanda set up an appointment before we left on vacay and explained everything to us about the process, our cat’s habits, her philosophy about caring for your pet. She was very clear and upfront about the cost and it cost $25 for each day (which included the $5 for any Med administration) and $30 for the weekends and holidays. It’s very convenient to pay Amanda as she accepts cash/check/Apple Pay. Amanda sent us pictures of our cat every single day and took care to administer her meds. She also played and showered her love on our pet. It was fabulous having Amanda and we will be asking her to watch our pet again!

Amanda is wonderful. Reliable is an accurate name!! She’s never not shown up for my kitties or cancelled on me. She sends me pictures and videos every time she visits them. She also waters plants, cleans up any pet messes, and plays with them. She’s available on weekends and holidays (when you really need a sitter!) for a small additional fee. She was also flexible and compassionate with me when I had to cancel a booking due to my cat’s terminal illness.

I got a pleco yesterday around 3. We came home and put him into the tank correctly like you are suppose to and he died and his belly was very tiny meaning he wasn’t getting the FOOD he needed. This is now my main pet store. They have a wide variety of animals that all look well cared for. They keep their Bettas in little aquariums, not little plastic cups. You can tell the Bettas are young. They're small. You never know how old the big ones in cups at other stores are. They have a great stock of supplies. I've never not found what I needed there. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. All of them I've spoken to keep animals and are passionate about them. We've shared pics on our phones like pics of kids. Choose this store for your pet needs. You will not regret it.

Great place to get all your pet supplies. Excellent selection of food, toys and accessories for your pet. They also have a wide assortment of animals for purchase including reptiles, birds and other small pets. The staff is A+, always helpful and friendly. This is our go-to place for everything our pets need.

Nice clean location, friendly staff. They have a small tropical dish section in the corner. Prices were reasonable for the location. Would recommend

We Luv Pets is the pet store I most often choose. The staff is polite and helpful and they usually have what I need in stock. The prices are affordable and the animals are well treated. I also like the in-house grooming done by Candise Martin. She did an excellent job on my pup, Colter and I recommend her services!

Really friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well kept store. I just went for some supplies but their Degus are so cute I might have to go back for a couple.

Always a great store, prices for the products they sell are reasonable. Have a huge variety of pet foods. We go primarily for a rabbit the selection of hay, food, treats and other supplies is great. Would highly recommend. Staff are always friendly and helpful, as well as knowledgeable.

I just recently made my first purchase at We Love Pets after going into the store over and over again to look at the fish and cats. I was looking for a tank and a couple of low maintenance fish for my daughter so I had lots of questions and three kids following me around in a very busy store after a brutal snowstorm. The store was packed and almost everyone I saw needed attention but the staff continued to be attentive and friendly and helpful. The main guy who helped me was the fish manager and he was so patient. I do feel like the variety of fish is lacking hence my four stars but the people working at the store were 5 star material. Parking is easy, and there are usually coupons in flyers that you can use for a decent deal.

Never had good experiences with this pet store. Everytime I come in the store, animals are not in proper enclosures. Have gotten beta fish there before and the men who scooped them out were aggressive, they later died of stress. I have also bought hermit crabs off of them and they died months later due to ppds. Their hermit crab tank is not proper. There is pebbles as the substrate. No mix of sand and dirt. No heat no food or extra shells for them to switch into.There was absolutely no humidity in the tank. I got hermit crabs from PetCo down the street around the same time I got some from 'WeLovePets' and they have survived almost a year compared to the two I got at 'WeLoVePets' who died months later! I do not think this pet store knows how to properly take care of animals. I go to PetCo up the street for my pet needs etc! They really don't sell much good things for the pets. Their selection of items aren't that good either. I wouldn't recommend going here if you want a alive animal to take home. Their selection of items and food for pets are not animal safe. They may say health beneficial on the packages but they will do nothing but harm the health of the animals.Not to mention the customer service is horrible! I've had to stand around 30 minutes waiting for someone to come over and help me with an animal, while they just sit on their butts or ignore customers. Their service is not good at all. Don't waste your time there!! Also on another note whenever I have bought an animal off of them they are swift and rude when grabbing them they threw my hermit crab into a small worm box and didn't even give me a care sheet or ask if I knew how to care for them? PetCo asked me if I knew how to care for them and even signed me up for an educational and life warranty! DONT SHOP THERE
