I am struggling with naming our top adjective to describe Michael and Jeanne. "Conscientious" will likely be it but then again, "personable," "reliable," "organised," and "animal-loving" are top contenders. If you are reading this review and contemplating inviting this couple to watch your pets, then look no further. We have had a number of excellent house sitters but this pair was next level in terms of the love they showed our cats, Maxx and Nala. When we came back, we could our animals already missed them. These cats, who have never slept with anyone other than us, were getting in bed with them each night -- and that meant climbing stairs! The day before our trip, Nala got an ear infection and had to be put on steroids for asthma. Michael and Jeanne did not sign up for that when the sit was booked but they took it in stride. In the last-minute rush, I relayed that Nala needed her oral steroids morning and night. Michael read the RX label, indicating one dose a day, and contacted the vet to clarify. So you can see why "conscientious" is right up there. They saved Nala from an overdose! We were gone three weeks and they sent us just the right amount of pictures and videos. They bought cat toys (I forgot to put ours out!) and actively engaged with them, including 20-minute massages for Maxx. I truly believed them when they said they fell in love with our fur babies. The house was spotless (which was not important to me but truly appreciated) but I smiled when all six water stations in our yard were filled. They took seriously my love for and the needs of the wildlife in our yard. Our plants were all in good condition as well. Sensing they were "next level" when I met them, I predicted they would want to leave a meal for us upon our return. I asked them not to but they found another way to bow out with class. They made a donation to a nonprofit I work with instead. This I learned from the lovely thank you note they left. I hope they will consider Charles and I friends because we certainly feel that way about them now. What special people. If you book them, treat them well because they are going to do that for you for sure.
Young was the perfect house sitter for us. From the moment you meet her, you can tell she is animal person and is detailed oriented and will take great care of your house and pets. She exudes a peaceful and grounded energy. She was comfortable with each our pets from the high energy dog to the shy skittish cat. She played with the dog in the yard every day and took him on walks. And she was also very attentive to our cats and figured out how to maintain the equilibrium in the relationship between the cats and dog. She is an excellent communicator; she asked questions when our directions weren't clear and kept us updated on the pets. She is also an amazing photographer. She sent us pics of our pets every day that totally captured each of their personalities.
We are thoroughly pleased with and impressed by Daniel's kind, generous, and careful care of our cat and our house. He is a committed and experienced sitter who completely understands his role and responsibilities and also how to gently win the confidence and affection of a pet. He is an excellent communicator, and he kept us regularly up to date on our cat's well being--sending us texts and photos at least once/week as we requested. Our cat who is a little afraid of new people, grew fond of him, and we have returned to a very calm, contented cat. We highly recommend Daniel, and we ourselves would be thrilled to engage him again when the need arises.
Quinn was an amazing sitter for my cat Moon! She regularly checked in with updates on moon while we were away on a two week vacation, and seemed to give her plenty of attention, play with her, etc. Communication was easy and she left our apartment spotless after departing. Highly recommend her as a pet sitter!
Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend! Thank you, Justin for a great example of how to wrestle so much more meaning out of zeewoi.
Ruthee was a fabulous pet sitter for our three cats while we were gone for a month. Prior to the sit, she was consistent and communicative; she even came over early for a meet and greet to learn the routine. During the sit, she took great care of our three cats by playing with them (she made a fun cat toy!), scooping litter, feeding and watering them, and sent us text updates and pictures. We came home to happy fur babies and a clean home. She left the place very tidy which was greatly appreciated! We are so thankful for Ruthee and would recommend her should the opportunity arise. Your fur babies would be lucky to spend time with her. Thank you again for everything, Ruthee!
Anna was a wonderful sitter for our furry friends. My dog, Luke, bonded with her and was sad when she left. My cats would crawl under the covers and curl up with her at night. She is a true animal magnet and lover. I highly recommend Anna to anyone who wants their pets to recieve first class love while away.
Karen was an extraordinary house and pet sitter who I hope to invite back again soon. You would be extremely fortunate to have her take care of your pets and home. From the very beginning she radiated calmness, knowledge, caring and curiosity. We had a great initial conversation where Karen answered questions I didn't even know I should be asking, and asked excellent questions so she could be prepared and understand the special needs for both my cat and home. She flew into my city the day before I was leaving and stayed at a nearby hostel so that we could meet in person and do a walk through of my home. They say pets have an intuitive nature about people, and I knew Karen would be a winner when my normally very shy/nervous cat came right up and let her pet him. Karen sent wonderful pictures and updates while I was gone and asked questions when she wasn't sure about something. When I returned home everything was spotless and my cat was content. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better house sitter experience. Thank you Karen!
Cat and Paul sat for me in December and kept a watchful eye on my trusty sidekick Jake. All I can say is my gosh what a great job they did giving Jake a lot of TLC. He obviously missed them since he wandered around our home looking for them after their departure. My home was left in the exact same condition and they did a great job of communicating with me during my trip, letting me know exactly how Jake was getting along. I can't thank them enough for taking great care of my home and showing Jake a great time. I hope that during the coming year they will volunteer to do another sit for me. If you need any other specifics about how awesome a sitter Cat is please feel free to call or email me and I will be more than happy to give you more details. Hope you have an opportunity in the future to use them as house and pet sitters! Regards! Edward
Super nice sitters and extremely flexible. Really enjoyed their company and I only regret that I was too frazzled to chat with them more and get to know them! Kept the house super clean, pets loved them. Dog especially. Had a little problem with my new kitten not meshing well with the older cats (which was not too surprising since cats can be territorial). Pennee was very patient and gave me constant updates and tips. And the older cat was much more calm when I came home. Highly recommend and welcome back anytime!
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?

I highly recommend this place for dog training, doggy daycare, and over oven stays. Ray is absolutely amazing. With her help we were able to train our dog to be the best version of himself. She helped us understand how to work with our dog and how to help him understand us. We would have been lost without her! The entire Happy Trails staff is professional and so knowledgeable. My boy absolutely loves going to doggy daycare here and I feel comfortable while he is under their care. Thank you Ray and the rest of the staff at Happy Trails! I could not recommend this place enough!
On the day of November 23, I picked Hannah up from daycare around 4:10 PM. She seemed fine, but the guy at the front desk told me she did not get a bathe! I was slightly confused and irritated because I was expecting her to be clean. I asked him why he didn’t call me and he sarcastically said, “why would we call you for that?” And then he told the lady I was upset when all I was doing was asking questions as to why she was not clean! I guess that was him trying to make me seem like the angry black woman in that moment! The gag is, if I was angry… I would’ve said that and it would have been known by my actions! Either way, they claimed she didn’t want to take a bath, but that has never happened before! She has had at least five baths and has done fine every time. That’s not what I’m tripping about. She has had three bouts of diarrhea since she got home! The diarrhea that squirts out like water! At 10:30 PM, 11:30 PM last night and 6:30 AM which is why I’m making this at 6:54 AM! I’m not sure what happened or what they fed her, but I will get to the bottom of it! I don’t appreciate it one bit And I don’t appreciate his sarcasm either! This is not cool and she will not be coming back! They didn’t even seem concerned and I’m sure they talked about me when I left yesterday! I don’t care anything about that though, my concern is my fur baby! And then she tried to use what I told her in confidence against me by saying that I’ve been going through things and her not wanting to take a bath may have to do with that! I GAVE UP my apartment October 21 and we have been just fine ever since in a hotel living life as normal, so why would you try to throw that back in my face? That’s something that a narcissist would do! Either way, I don’t appreciate it and like I said she will not be going back!
Happy trails was a life save! Rachel was very knowledgeable & very transparent about how they run things. My pup passed all the tests and now has play dates that he looks forward too. He runs to door with his leash if I even say play date now 😆. Thank goodness for this place!😊 …
My pup and I love Happy Trails! We use them for boarding several times per year, grooming every few months and have always had a good experience. They know my dog’s name and seem to really care about all of the animals that they care for. I have never had any doubt in the care that they provide. We are so blessed to have a place to care for my boy that enables me to not have to worry about him when I’m gone.
Absolutely love this place! the owners, Rachel and Ray are incredibly knowledgeable and really put a lot of effort into making sure my pups have the best time possible here! I highly recommend bringing your dogs here, you can trust that they will be well taken care of and have a great time.
They have been a wonderful place for my 3 dogs to get socialized and play with other pups. Ranging in age from 1 year to 9, they have been accommodating to their every need. We also choose to board with them and they always go the extra mile to ensure they are eating well and comfortable through personalized care. They even added cooked turkey to their food to encourage their appetite and give them breaks from play when needed. Highly recommend.
Could not recommend this place enough! My family is no stranger to happy trails, in 2018 my mother started bringing our family dog, Chloe, here and she enjoyed and loved daycare until she reached her last senior years and ultimately passed away. Shortly after I started bring my own dog to day care and boarding services, Murphie, and she loves happy trails so much she gets excited as soon as we turn onto the road! Today I dropped off my new puppy, tater tot, to his first day of day care and I can already tell by watching the cameras (the cameras are amazing to watch them play btw!) he is loving it! The employees here are so compassionate about animals and as a ER vet tech I am extra careful with whom I leave my babies with. I have no worries leaving my fur-babies here!!
Took my dog there for an evaluation and playday. During the introduction/tour owner showed a long flexible pole with loose strips on end of it and said they will carry it and use by swinging it in front of them to keep the dogs from rushing the gates and to keep them in line if necessary; may touch dog on hind with it to get them to move or listen. Also said they may use a spray bottle with vinegar and something else in it or hose to squirt dogs to stop an interaction. Watched the cameras ALL the time and saw some disturbing things. One dog was literally kicked/pushed with a worker's foot on the hind end to get it up and moving out of the kennel. Another dog was struck what appeared to be hard on the hind end with that pole end; appearing as if he went the wrong way. The pole was swung very quickly in front of a worker to move dogs back like she said it would be; some of them cowered at it…have seen that reaction prior in dogs that have been struck. Too many dogs in play areas at same time for my liking. AND all they seemed to do was meander about and follow the worker around the yard; once in a great while the worker would pet a dog and then push others away that also wanted petting/attention. Pretty sad. Owner talks a good line about dog psychology and treatment when you inquire. These are observations by an owner, and if it had been my dog that had the interactions above with staff, I would have been there immediately. And by the way, you have no idea what my background/knowledge/training is… You are right, you don’t send dogs home injured or needing vet care due to problems or interactions with other dogs. You keep the dogs safe. Your tactics are just not agreeable with me.
The best place for my doggo! The team there has always been friendly, professional, answers all my questions (even some weird ones), and does a phenomenal job of taking good care of my elderly dog. - Paws down, the best!
Love this place. My puppy Beau loves it too. His first day at Happy Trails left him totally exhausted and this was a very good thing! He made new friends both human and non human. And the pictures show how tired he was. He actually ate his food lying down.
We take our two dogs here for daycare and occasional boarding and it is always a great experience. The staff is so caring and the pups love going here! We also enjoy receiving photos the staff sends while they are at daycare!
I’d give this place 100 stars if I could! We’ve used Raina as our groomer for over a year now and she is AMAZING!! She is so personal and knowledgeable about dogs and their needs. Plus, our standard poodle always comes out looking picture perfect. The facility is always clean, each pup is lovingly accommodated for, and the staff are fabulous. Whenever I drop any of our pups off, they arrive and leave excited! Highly highly recommend Raina and the rest of the staff!
Thank you so much Pawsitively Zen for taking exceptional care of our girls! We feel so comfortable leaving them in your care! From boarding to daycare y’all are top notch! Thank you for loving our girls like we love them!!
Just got finished picking up my furbaby at Pawsitively Zen. We have done business with them for several years now, and could not be happier. Our baby girl is getting up there in age and when we go on vacation, we feel like we’re dropping her off with family. Cannot thank them enough for the great care, compassion, and attention they pay the animals. If you are looking for someone to care for your pets while you are away, definitely give them a call!!
This place is great for boarding your dog! I brought mine here for the first time when first moved to the area and they were easy to deal with and did not require a full “test day” like other places especially since I had a limited time frame with moving. Very happy with the quality of service and care and attention my dog received. They post photos of the pets online so you’re always updated on their status. Overall highly recommend this place we will definitely be back.
I left my dog here for 3 nights. The owner Mindy is very kind and the dogs love her. She sent pics everyday so I knew he was okay. She really seems to care about the dogs. My dog seemed very happy and cared for. I would definitely recommend this place in a heartbeat.
Great spa for your fur child/ children. I took my Cassius of Adventures of Cassius on FB., for a spa day. He never looked better when I picked him up after a day of pampering. Bath, nails, new hair cut, He definitely needed some Zen. I highly recommend making an appointment and do it soon because they do get booked up. Tell them Corrina and Cassius, sent you. 🐾💗
We left our furbaby ICE with them Nov 22 of last year and picked up after 45 days for an out of the country vacation. I am extremely pleased and happy with Pawsitively Zen for taking great care of him while we’re away. They keep us posted every single day by sending us pics of how our “precious” is doing and mingling with other pets. I will definitely use their services again when need arises. Thank you very much for taking care of ICE. Below pics show how much my son and ICE missed each other. Pics captured by them. I posted the same pics they sent me at husky groups pageto show the beautiful moment…..❤️👌🐾🐕
My dog had an absolutely fantastic time here. He was SO happy when I picked him up, I’m not sure he wanted to leave. This was the first time I ever boarded him, and I am so glad i ended up trusting Pawsitively Zen with my little guy. They sent me daily updates and pictures while he was staying with them. It was so adorable seeing all the new friends he was making. The staff here was incredible and all so nice. Now that I found a place I trust to board my dog, I will continue taking him back here when I need him boarded. They really made the whole experience so welcoming and easy, and had super reasonable prices as well.
We love Pawsitively Zen because they love our two dogs like their own. We have two shy siblings that don’t like just anyone and get nervous when they are in the bigger open play places. Mindy, Rhonda Shanice and the entire staff provide us with the peace of mind that are “kids” are well taken care of while we are gone. They send pictures at least once a day, they figure out what makes each dog unique and caters to their individual needs. They take our active dogs for walks and give them lots of love. Our dogs are always excited to see them when we drop them off. They always respond to email and texts timely. I recommend them to anyone and everyone that asks me about boarding when we travel. If you want the best care for our four legged kids look no further.
Laura and Christine has a true love for animals. I trust them completely when I'm away. I get cute pictures, videos and texts on the visits so I really know my dogs are getting great care. Paws N Claws Care plays with them and tires them out as well because when I get home, they are super chill. I absolutely love that! I would highly recommend them to anybody.
Laura has taken care of my pets as well as my friends pets over the years and we all can agree our pets get upset when she leaves so we know she is good!!!
I recently took my dog, Akyra, to the Dog House Pet Resort, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making sure Akyra felt comfortable and safe from the moment we arrived. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, with plenty of space for the dogs to play and relax. Akyra had a fantastic time, and I could tell she was well taken care of. I highly recommend the Dog House Pet Resort for anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving environment for their pets. Akyra will definitely be coming back!
Love The Dog House! I’m 6 months pregnant and can’t groom my dog at home anymore due to being high risk and being in pain. I took my standard poodle elsewhere recently for a a bath and they couldn’t even wash him properly so I came to a place I knew would do amazing. I dropped off a brown stained poodle, and came home with a beautifully groomed white poodle! My groomer Chloe was super sweet, listened great, and was excited about what we will do creatively in the future when I can keep up with the maintenance on longer hair. Can’t wait to go back and Roh was comfortable as soon as he met her.
I have four standard poodles. Grooming a poodle is an art form, and The Dog House does a good job every month. The staff is eager to please and the owner, Lori, is fantastic. I think my pups look beautiful, and I like having a standing appointment, so I don’t have to worry about calling for 4 appointments every month. My groomers are Heaven and Bailey, and I recommend them both.
We love the Dog House! Our dog has been coming here for almost 2 years now, and we can confidently say it is his all time favorite place! He gets so excited when we mention the word “daycare”. If Memphis could rate this place, he would give it 10 stars! The staff are extremely friendly + helpful, and ease any stress or worries you might have about dropping your pup off!
I started bringing my baby Hannah here in December 2023! It was a great experience until last month when my dog got injured during doggy daycare! They showed me a three second clip, claiming that my dog started a fight. I did not get an incident report, no one has called to check in on Hannah since then and I have not seen any more video footage at all! Guess they figured that paying the vet bills would suffice. That was a great help, but nothing has ever happened to my baby while she was in MY care! What makes it so bad is that she had a split on her paw pad and had to get staples in it. If it was a dogfight, how did her paw pad get split of all the places? That’s very weird and the fact that nobody knew exactly what happened when they were supposedly watching her is beyond me! I wouldn’t say don’t take your dog there, because outside of that, it was a good experience. I absolutely love and will miss Peyton and Sydney, but I really do want answers. That’s not cool. I have a busy life and now I have to find a whole new daycare to take her to because of that! Very inconvenient to say the least.
I would rate my recent service 5 stars but due to a previous complaint I will have to keep it at 4 stars. Primarily due to the previous visit. The owner reach out to me and offered apologies for the inconvenience and personally took on my dog for grooming the following week. Overall I was completely satisfied with her recent grooming appointment. I am glad I gave this business a second chance and will continue to use their services when needed. I mean just look at this pup!
The absolute BEST! Our Corgi's have been spoiled by the most loving staff at The Dog House Pet Resort. Thank you ladies and gents for treating our fur babies like your own. Highly recommend!
This place started off okay when I had my dog in for socialization. He was a rescue and needed more training as he was leash reactive. I booked an appointment two weeks in advance with the head trainer/manager Laurie. After we drove 44 mins to meet her at the park, I called the office 5 mins before and was told by the front desk that she “forgot” about our appointment. No one called and even the lady who took my call didn’t apologize. I gave them a chance to make it right and book another, but was told it would be another two weeks. Taking my business elsewhere. Very unprofessional and classless. I have yet to hear from Laurie.
I absolutely LOVE The Dog House! I'm a first time pet owner and they have been great with all the needs of my fur-baby. I've used them for grooming, obedience training and doggy-daycare. The staff is always extremely friendly and welcoming. I actually drive 25 miles for their services and it is so worth it!! Sarah and Heaven are excellent groomers.
We have been going to the Dog House for almost 2 years to get our labradoodle cut. We have never had a bad experience. Our pup loves going to her groomer and comes back perfect and beautiful! Our groomer Heaven is amazing!
We have been boarding our dogs here for almost 3 years. The staff has a great system down and everyone is friendly and caring. Shout out Canady! She always makes us feel loved and welcomed. Lindy is also wonderful! The vaccination requirements and safety protocols make me feel so safe leaving them there!
This place and all the staff are a gem! I am an anxious young woman and was worried to board my dog. After Ellie’s (my shy cockapoo) first initial trail day i was so happy to hear she had a wonderful time! Multiple staff members reported that Ellie had a blast during doggy group time. For the holidays she is having to stay longer due to family travel. I signed up for the puppy postcards and it makes me so happy to know and see shes having fun! One of five pictures added here. Some of the staff even sent selfies playing with her! Upon her return just a few days later she was wagging her tail excited to go be social with her puppy pals! Overall the prices are wonderful. I love the extra services provided as well! Exit bath had Ellie smelling like a fruit cup haha. Cant recommend this place more!
My baby is always happy to go to daycare, I have never had a single problem, all the employees are very sweet and take great care of my pup, I trust them to take care of him both for daycare and boarding, they have fun and cute dynamics, we’ve been customers for almost two years, I’m so glad I found them because I really don’t trust anyone to take care of my baby.
Excellent services pet & customer service. Took my dog in for the first time being in GA and I’m already planning my next visit. They took care of him so well. His full groom came out AMAZING!! And they even allowed for him to do a meet and greet at the daycare part free of charge. They are absolutely awesome and I am definitely coming back!!! Also, they have great communication with the pet owners. Pet groomer called me to be sure of the cut I wanted for Rocco. And it was better than what I could’ve imagined.
I’ve taking my oldest dog to APR for 5 years and can’t say enough about the company. The friendliness of the staff, their attention to detail and the cleanliness of the facility are the reasons I remain a loyal customer. I want to give special recognition to Canady who goes above and beyond to call of duty for me and my dogs. She is the epitome of someone who understands what great customer service entails.
I only went to this place because everywhere else was booked up for weeks but after my first visit I won't be going back. The place was 45 minutes from my house and when I arrived I was told I needed paperwork for proof of my cats vaccinations. This is something they could've said in the confirmation email or on the website where you book. I had to drive 45 min home and back again to get the paperwork. Not only did I have to drive for 2 and a half hours but I pick up my cat and it doesn't even look like he was groomed. He smelled good and his nails were clipped good that's why I gave the 2 stars but I can tell he wasn't brushed because I pet him in the car and my hand was covered in fur. So I brushed him myself when I got home and so much excess fur came off with only 4-5 strokes. And they didn't even dry him before putting him back in his carrier. It looks like they got him wet sprayed perfume on him and cut his nails for $75.
Today, I brought my dog, Gus to Atlanta Pet Resort for half day “dog dayplay”. After 5 hours I went to pick up my Gus, I asked the lady at the front desk how Gus’s day was- she nonchalantly answered, “he mostly slept today since the dogs were separated due to a Bordatella outbreak”. Alarmed, I frantically asked how they managed to keep all the dogs for playdate separated and she brought me to the back and to my horror led me down a dark hallway (see pictures) my dog isolated in a kennel. My dog, Gus, is my child, I have had him since he was 8 weeks old. I don’t even own a kennel- as there is no need. Gus is 3 years old and well behaved. I work from home and bring Gus to dayplay for socialization and stimulation, as I am aware he can grow weary of just my company after a few days. Dismayed, I asked if he had been in the kennel all day. She responded, ’“we took him out by himself once!” Maternal instincts trickled down my spine, as I bolted out of there. All they had to do was tell me, “no day play today” or “we can board your dog and he will be kept by himself today, would you still like that service.” Furthermore, I was never told about the current Bordatella outbreak. Gus is vaccinated, but nonetheless, I have a right to know of any active infectious diseases running rampant at a facility I am entrusting my dog’s care to. Unfortunately, they did not divulge any of this and I blindly dropped my dog off thinking he was going to have a fun afternoon. My dog, along with everyone else’s dog that was there today was mistreated; they had no access to water in their kennels and the staff admittedly only took my dog out one time in 5 hours. Disappointed is an understatement, I thought my dog was playing with other dogs, socializing, having fun. It pains me to think about what else they have done without me knowing and at the expense of my dog. Not surprisingly, without my consent they charged my card $22, for my dog to stare at a wall for 5 hours. Sounds like they are hurting for cash and choosing to exploit peoples beloved dogs to make ends meet. Not the type of place I want caring for my furbaby or your furbaby. Please do NOT send your pet here, if they won’t show you the back dog play area—- there is a reason. Sad 😔
Horrible Horrible experience. Will NEVER use them again. We were quoted a price, then when I dropped off my dog I was told no it will be an additional $5 a night because she they didn't have the chance to "evaluate" her. Ok, no big deal...but then got the invoice and we were charge an extra $10 a day.....then I was told when I called, pack up any of her favorite toys, bones, blankets etc but when I dropped Stella off I was told no she can't have the bones or toys I left but she would be given her favorite blanket, yet the blanket was still in the bag and not with her. I was also told to portion out her prescription dog food. I provided 7 individual bags (1 per day) as Stella is a grazer...I bag lasts her all day at home. But 3 days into her being there I get a message that she only had 2 bags left could they fees house food...ABSOLUTELY NOT, she has bad allergies and giving anything but the food provided would be really bad. But when I picked her up I was told she was out of food (1 gave very detailed instructions of how and what she should be fed, which we ignored by 4 different people). All in all Horrible experience and as stated I will NEVER USE THIS PLACE AGAIN! If you love your pet and want them cared for, use a different boarding place!
UPDATE***************I LEFT THE REVIEW BEFORE THE INVOICE VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! So my son picked up my babies on 6/29. They charged my card on file for the services. I was expecting to pay what I've been paying less the discount for nail trimming . My total bill was RIDICULOUS!!!!! I left a message addressing my concerns. I received a call back, but missed the call. However, someone left a message stating someone would call. I waited until after the 4th of July no call. I called back left another message addressing my concerns. Still no call back. I also use this location for boarding with no complaints, but this lack of communication is very unprofessional. So now I have to take my business elsewhere. you don't treat your consumers this way. I've also heard other customers complaints about this particular groomer with prices. I would never bring them back for grooming services, but now I'm concerned with boarding, and daycare. I must note my babies weren't at their worst . Let just say I had different prices each visit and I never said a word, but the MARKUP is unacceptable. I MUST speak up. I will dispute the charges. I’ve been bringing my fur babies to Atlanta Pet Resort for boarding and grooming services for sometime now. I must say the staff is very friendly and understanding of your pet needs . My visit for today was grooming for my boys Coach and Kobe. I have to say each time they look great. However this time they looked like “show” dogs. My Aussiedoodle is a bit to handle. I truly appreciate the time and patience the the groomer and staff have with him. This is the BEST job by far . Thank you so much!
My dog (and I) are huge fans of Atlanta Pet Resorts! We are there most days for daycare, where they will play fetch with her for hours. She's super high energy and she has a great time running around all day. We also use APR for boarding and I never have to worry about her care. Quinn and the team take great care of my pup, I can't recommend them enough.
The pups love it here, and mom and dad love knowing they’re taken care of just as well as they are at home! Friendly owners, convenient area and great pricing are all just icing on the cake. I’ll absolutely be using them again!
I love this place. It’s a local in-home boarding and my pup loves going there. They make it a home away from home and I won’t go anywhere else! 100% recommend them.
Jeff has taken care of our pets for over a year and they love him. Jeff is professional, caring, resourceful, reliable, and goes beyond just pet sitting. We trust and highly recommend his services!
Jeff at VIPeople & Pets does a superb job with my pets while I'm away. They like him, I like him, and he does what he says he's going to do. He's also a good communicator. In addition, he's certified to do pet care -- and he's very knowledgeable. I'd highly recommend him to anyone.
Jeff does a wonderful job taking care of our cat/home when we are away. He keeps us updated throughout our trip. I would recommend him to all of my friends!
Jeff has been taking care of our dogs for several years. He is great with our pets and we never worry with him watching them. Very dependable and always quick to respond to a request. Recommend without hesitation or doubt.
Jeff is wonderful. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs and boarding them can be extremely expensive. Jeff comes by multiple times a day to feed, walk, and interact with all of my pets and they love it. He gives plenty of updates while we are away and I never have to worry that my anxious animals are doing ok because they don’t have to leave their own home. As a result we are able to take more vacations as it is easier on our pets and our wallet.
Jeff has been our pet-sitter for a few years now and has truly been a blessing! He is reliable, kind, and trustworthy, and takes excellent care of our (fur)kids! He respects our home, communicates well, calms our separation anxiety, and accommodates our quirks. Thanks Jeff - we really appreciate you all and all that you do!!
I used Jeff’s services for my dog for 3 years and couldn’t have been happier. He is a real dog person and is a model of reliability. I always knew my buddy would be taken care of when my erratic schedule precluding me from being home with him. I can’t say enough about the professionalism over the years and would highly recommend him if you need a hand taking care of your pet. Great Service!
Jeff has been looking after our pets for almost a year and we have nothing but praise for his services! We appreciate the care, responsiveness, flexibility and updates (along with pictures!) that we receive. Our cats and dogs are well cared for. Thank you Jeff!
Jeff and Addy and his family have been taking care of my pets for six years. I can always rely on them to be punctual and effective and even more important… Very affectionate! I would not think of leaving my dog and All of the cats that I have owned in the past to anybody but them! I highly recommend them for caring for your beloved animals.
I have used Jeff for both personal training and pet sitting, and have found him to be outstanding in both areas. My dog loves him, and when I went out of town on vacation I had total peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. For personal training, Jeff has helped me revamp my diet (hardest part) and workout, and with his help I have dropped 27 pounds so far. He provided the training, motivation, and the accountability I needed to finally get in shape. If you do not have a lot of fitness equipment at home, he will even bring his own. I highly recommend him!!!!
My dog was returned to me without his belongings (food, collar, leash, food trays). I contacted the owner and she said I can pick his stuff up the next day. She then states that I cannot pick his stuff up and that I have to wait another day to pick his stuff up. She then attempts to argue with me on why she cannot give me my items the day that we agreed. She tells me her personal information and her employees personal health information. The owner also contacted my family member (who helped me board my dog) to complain about me. My dog had scratches on his ear and unusual, loose bowel movement. She sends videos and act like he was enjoying himself but he lost weight and was not himself when I picked him up. She left my stuff outside by a pole at 9pm and told me to pick out what’s mine and leave the rest. She is also one of the people below who wrote a review about her own company. Be aware!
This place is so unprofessional!! She does not return items that you send your dog with. Your dog will come back with an upset stomach! your dog will also be returned with scratches that you did not send them there with. I high do NOT recommend sending your dog if you love them !!! Save you money on vet cost because that’s where your dog will be if you send them here !
They did an AMAZING job on both my Great Pyranees&our little multi-pom
VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!
