Cynthia was a perfect pet sitter for our little kitty. We knew from her extensive experience with cats that Nala was in good hands. She was extremely responsive via texts when we were away, ensuring us that the 2 of them were having a great time. She went absolutely above and beyond by scrubbing our bath and toilets to remove our mineral deposit rings that we haven't been able to get rid of! She even left the name of the product she used so we can get more in the future. The house was cleaner than when we left. We'll have her back anytime!

Anna was an excellent sitter - she took great care to understand all of the intricacies of taking care of the house and cats, asked lots of questions, and arrived on time and ready for the sit. During the trip, she checked in with updates, and upon returning home, left the space tidy and clean. The cats were happy and healthy, and seemed to have had a great time during the sit. Thanks Anna!

Chris and Julia were our very first sitters and are the most perfect house/pet sitters anyone would ever want!!! Julia sent video/pictures of our fur babies everyday and we noticed early on that our animals were very relaxed and happy!! This made our trip so enjoyable and stress free knowing that our animals were safe and being spoiled and loved the whole time. They even trained our dog to sit while her leash was being attached and was able to pet and hold our cat that is somewhat nervous around strange people he doesn't know. When I got back from the trip, the house was very clean along with Julia/Chris had washed the bed sheets, bath towels, vacuumed, dusted etc., and even washed the pet bedding. They also left some SE Asia treats for us to try which so sweet of them. Definitely the perfect house sitters!!!

We are thoroughly pleased with and impressed by Daniel's kind, generous, and careful care of our cat and our house. He is a committed and experienced sitter who completely understands his role and responsibilities and also how to gently win the confidence and affection of a pet. He is an excellent communicator, and he kept us regularly up to date on our cat's well being--sending us texts and photos at least once/week as we requested. Our cat who is a little afraid of new people, grew fond of him, and we have returned to a very calm, contented cat. We highly recommend Daniel, and we ourselves would be thrilled to engage him again when the need arises.

Wow! Just wow! We cannot say enough about the care and compassion Trisha and John provided to our cats and our home. We are always somewhat nervous about a new pet sitter in our home, but that all faded when we met this wonderful couple. They provided daily updates as requested, complete with pictures, videos and personalized captions. Upon our return, we were greeted by happy and content kitties. There was no sign of anxiety in Tika! Yea!!! Our home was clean, the sheets and towels were washed and bed remade! They even left behind thank you notes and little gifts! What a breath of fresh air these two individuals are! We hope to have them back again soon.

We can not exaggerate the care and love Juliet and Laurent gave to our cat, Piero, during his the last few weeks of life. While we left for our trip thinking he merely had a bladder infection, his symptoms turned for the worse a weeks into their sit and later revealed he had cancer. No one would wish their sitter to need to hospice their cat but Juliet and Laurent showed such compassion for Piero and volunteered to be with him when we made the decision to put him down. It was an emotional time for all of us and we will be forever grateful to our two caring cat and house sitters. We have had many fantastic housesitters through zeewoi but Juliet and Laurent top the list. Their professionalism, constant communication and compassion were exceptional. Should you have the opportunity to have them in your home, do not hesitate to book them, you will have no regrets. We do, however, regret that they had such a short time with Piero and had to experience such a painful event.

Heidi was an outstanding cat sitter for my Luna! She was very communicable via calls or texts. She followed all my guidelines for feeding and care of Luna. Luna was very content when I arrived home thanks to Heidi! My home was immaculate when I arrived and she did some snow shoveling. She even pulled a large broken tree branch off my roof following a windstorm. I hope Heidi is available for my next trip because she is awesome. Jim

Karen was an extraordinary house and pet sitter who I hope to invite back again soon. You would be extremely fortunate to have her take care of your pets and home. From the very beginning she radiated calmness, knowledge, caring and curiosity. We had a great initial conversation where Karen answered questions I didn't even know I should be asking, and asked excellent questions so she could be prepared and understand the special needs for both my cat and home. She flew into my city the day before I was leaving and stayed at a nearby hostel so that we could meet in person and do a walk through of my home. They say pets have an intuitive nature about people, and I knew Karen would be a winner when my normally very shy/nervous cat came right up and let her pet him. Karen sent wonderful pictures and updates while I was gone and asked questions when she wasn't sure about something. When I returned home everything was spotless and my cat was content. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better house sitter experience. Thank you Karen!

Kristine was wonderful again as our local sitter from just down the street. The boys take to her like she is their best friend whenever she comes to sit with them. She sent us photos of them playing, relaxing, drinking water and eating so we knew they were well taken care of. The house and the cats were in excellent shape and excellent hands while we were away. Super nice sitters and extremely flexible. Really enjoyed their company and I only regret that I was too frazzled to chat with them more and get to know them! Kept the house super clean, pets loved them. Dog especially. Had a little problem with my new kitten not meshing well with the older cats (which was not too surprising since cats can be territorial). Pennee was very patient and gave me constant updates and tips. And the older cat was much more calm when I came home. Highly recommend and welcome back anytime!

Andrea's playgroups have been such a great experience for our spirited female Labrador. Andrea carefully screens dogs before integrating them into her services. In fact, we worked hard training and improving her boundary, listening and social skills before she was ready to go to Andrea's. It was worth the effort - now she is a playgroup regular and has done overnight stays as well. Our pup has really learned from Andrea's manager dogs and the other well balanced dogs in the group. We are so thankful to Andrea for her patience, clear direction and care with Wilma.
I feel so grateful to have found Andrea’s Animal Service. From the start, Andrea was approachable, kind, and responsive, and flexible with my schedule. Andrea never misses a beat—when making plans about my dog, I always receive a reminder message a few days before to confirm, and she follows all the directions for my dog’s pickup. Speaking of, the fact that Andrea comes and picks up my pup from my house and drops her off is a luxury, and I feel like my dog is well cared for and loved by her. My dog always runs up to Andrea wagging her tail, so happy to see her every time. Andrea is a clear and open communicator and has a wonderful space at her house, indoor and out, for the dogs to romp around and play together, or to sit quietly and rest if that’s what the dogs need. Andrea is perceptive to all of her animals, carefully observant and senses her dogs well. I have nothing but good things to say about Andrea, and I would highly recommend her services to anyone who is looking for daytime or overnight care for their animals.
We have been sending our dog to Andrea's Animal Care for both daytime care as well as longer overnight stays when we are traveling and the experience has been amazing. Our dog is a rescue that was quite nervous when we adopted him and his time at Andrea's has helped immensely with socialization. Our golden doodle, Gracie, has been going to Andrea’s for the past year. She started at 5 months old, so she considers Andrea’s home her second home. We have known Andrea since she first started her business. Winston was one of her first dogs to become a part of her family and business. Since then we have had 2 more dogs be a part of her services through the years. She has seen them from puppyhood to their last years and no matter what stage they were in life, I knew that they were well cared for and loved when I couldn’t be with them. Andrea is thoughtful in her approach to making sure our dogs are comfortable. Not only is she great with our dogs but she’s a wonderful person too. Andrea has been caring for our Golden Retriever in weekly playgroups and when we need to board our dog. Andrea is incredibly reliable and great with our dog. He loves riding in the car with Andrea and it’s been a fantastic experience watching our dog learn to positively interact with other dogs and help them integrate into play groups. WE LOVE ANDREA'S ANIMAL CARE!! We have employed Andrea on several occasions, often for as long as a week, when we have been away on vacation or for other reasons. Andrea is always immediately responsive to our requests and, more importantly, our beloved dog always seems thrilled to see her and then so content after some time at her place. I don't know if he's exactly sad to come home, but it's obvious he has been loved and well cared-for when he's been with Andrea, and that is a great comfort. She clearly loves animals and is always delighted to see our sometimes rambunctious dog. A bonus is that she sends occasional texts and photos while we're gone, telling us about his happy adventures. Not too much, just enough to reassure us. And communications about the pickup and drop off times are always very clear. I can't praise this business enough!

Lauren is an excellent pet sitter; I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their pets. We have 3 senior pets, 1 dog and 2 cats, that are all on medicine, and she proved how caring, responsible, and knowledgeable she is while we were out of the country for 2 weeks. She also regularly sent us pictures of our fur-babies, and they are such great photos I want to frame them. I could tell how well they, and our home, were taken care of when we returned home and it means so much, thank you Lauren!
Lauren is the best of the best of the best! She watched my dog and cat while away for five days and I’m pretty sure my pup wanted to leave with her haha. Porter, my dog, can be leash reactive to dogs and strangers so it’s been quite the process finding a trustworthy, knowledgeable, skilled and communicative pet sitter. While away Lauren went above and beyond with sending updates, asking clarifying questions and responsive to my questions (anxious dog mom here, anyone else?). During our pre-stay visit she asked in depth questions, explained her experience/trainings with and for reactive pups which made me feel at ease and reassured me with explaining her process and listening to my in depth care directions for my dog. Alex is an amazing dog sitter and walker! We struggled to find a good option for our very people shy 11 year old Sheltie. We interviewed six people before deciding on Alex, and are so grateful for finding her. She took the time to work with us and our dog, initially going on joint walks with us, then building up to walking her alone before doing an overnight dog-sit. By the time we needed overnight sitting, our dog had grown comfortable with Alex, and was happy to see her (something that is extremely rare for our nervous dog). We just returned from a 7 night trip away, and came home to a happy relaxed dog. I highly recommend Alex, particularly for dogs that have stranger-danger, are nervous, or don't easily take to being around non-family members.
Lauren watches our two cats when we're out of town and does an excellent job. She texts us photos of the cats and gives them lots of attention. She is super responsive, trustworthy, and reliable. It's nice to know we can go away and feel reassured that our cats are in good hands!
Alex is dependable, kind, caring & very competent. She walks our two dogs and housesits for them when we go away. One of our dogs is fairly aggressive towards strangers and Alex has done a great job becoming her trusted friend. I highly recommend her services.
My dog can be super slow to warm up to new people. Alex has been so amazing with him and helping him become confident and comfortable with her. She's very communicative, responsible, and caring. She's always willing to accommodate based on my dog's needs as he has a chronic pain condition and when it flares up it limits his movement. Whether she comes for a quick hike or a calmer visit with lots of snuggles, I know my little guy is in good hands.
We found Pawssionate Pet Care by a referral from the Humane Society of Chittenden County. We were hoping to find cat coverage for the holidays and beyond. Lauren returned my call promptly, asked good questions, shared her rate and availability, and most importantly shared that she has lots of experience with diabetic cats! After a quick meet & greet we were certain it would be a great fit. Our cats each have issues (two shots a day, one pill a day). We felt so relieved throughout our time far from home knowing someone like Lauren was checking on them and genuinely caring for them as we would. When she had a small concern, she promptly and diligently communicated with us. We can’t wait for the future days away, knowing that our cats’ wellbeing is Pawssionate Pet Care’s main concern. For anyone with pets with any medical needs (especially diabetes), look no further! The rates are extremely reasonable and Lauren is highly professional, thorough, calm, and caring.
Lauren took care of my quirky/reactive poodle. It was like I hadn’t left at all! Jackie had clearly been treated like a Queen got tons of time for tug of war, mouth hands, and cuddling, and was so at ease when I returned. She is typically forlorn when I’m gone, but Lauren made her comfortable and well-enriched. Lauren is a creative, empathetic, knowledgeable, and responsive animal care professional. I can’t wait for Jackie to have another staycation with her soon!
