Cat Sitters in Albany, OR

(1 of 2) (PART 2 Carla Kinner(Cindy)) Sully's takes care of 3 of our dogs and has now since fall of 2019. They care deeply for our pets, and they provide cameras so we can see how they are doing throughout the day. I would like to address the 1-3⭐️ ratings they have received and why I (a client) disagree with the 1-3 ratings. I have no affiliation with Sully's other than a client! I just get a little upset when people are unreasonable in their assessment. 1. An observation of the dogs being outside in 100° Heat. - Sully's has 2 outside areas. With the one to on the north being their primary. They have windows and chain link fence, so if they are inside, they can observe the dogs as they play. During those high heat days, the dogs go out to relieve themselves and play. Sully's has stationary play structures in the yard for the dogs to play on. In addition, during those hot days, they add 1-2 pools and sprinklers. They also have a huge fan. They put up sun shades, too. So, how much more does this person expect. The dogs are having a blast, and there are 1-3 people out there with them most of the time. The dogs are being watched! When it is hot, the employees are out with the dogs and spray the hoses on the dogs that like to play that way. There is shade for the dogs that want that and the pool for the dogs that enjoy the pool. 2. No toys (balls, squeaky toys, or ropes) -Sully's like many doggie daycare facilities don't allow dog toys. The reason for this is dogs get very obsessed with toys. Fights can break out, and that could be dangerous for both the care person (employee(s)) and the dogs (your pet(s))! I dont want my pet to be involved in a large dog fight! I dont want my dog injured or killed. Sully's has stationary play structures in the dog areas for entertainment. The dogs play. They have cameras you can watch them play all day! It is funny to see the games they invent, and if they don't want to play the dogs, let them just be. I have never observed a fight at Sully's. I'm not saying they don't happen, but for all the time we have been going, I think there has been only one scuffle, and the employees were on it very quickly. In conclusion, I feel that Sully's is not only very clean but very safe for our pets to go to for doggie daycare. They truly care for our pets, and they provide photos and videos so we can see how our dogs are being treated throughout rhe day. I have never had this quality of care of our pets in any other location. They are truly a gem for the Albany area. I highly recommend them. I also wish them the very best.

Sully's Stay and Play is a treasure for dogs in the mid-valley! Our dog is always so excited to play with his friends here and when we pick him up he is happy and tired. The groomer here is the best around; she brings out the best in our dog's appearance and enhances his best features. All of the staff are very kind and truly care about dogs. Reasonably priced and a great facility in the heart of Albany. Highly recommended!

My dog loves Sully's!!! Everyone there is super sweet and he never comes home with fleas! That was a real issue with other daycare options. I usually take Remi to work with me, so he goes to Sullys once a week to burn off so.e of his weim puppy energy :)

We LOVE Sully’s Stay N Play doggy daycare. We have been taking our child there for 2 years now and we are very appreciative of the care she consistently receives. Honest, friendly staff and our girl has lots of fun playing each day. We love the fact that we can always look in on her through the web cams they have set up. Highly recommend them!

We started bringing our newest member of the family to Sully's a few weeks ago and we are so happy with it! They knew who he was the second time we brought him! The facilities are amazing! All the doggos seem genuinely happy! Our little Ozzy is a ball of 4 month old golden retriever energy and he comes home so tired from all the playing..... it's perfect! He is so excited when we pull in the parking lot lol so I know it's great! He NEVER comes home smelling like a kennel. I love that I can pop on cameras to see what is going on. Hands down Definitely recommend bringing your doggos here. Great rates as well.

I have been using Sully's for my dog, Laddie, for the last six years. The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. It is extremely clean and well maintained. Tony Sullivan has invested a lot in making the business a model. I would highly recommend this business to anyone who truly cares about the well being of their dog.

I'm from out of town, needed a place to drop off my puppy for a few hours. Sully's took her, introduced her to a little old dog and a group of medium sized dogs, declared her acceptable, and I left her there. I could see her on the Webcam, and she went outside lots. She was tired out when I picked her up, and she did not seem distressed. It was convenient that the canine influenza shot is not required, as we never got that at home. Her bordatella and other vaccinations were adequate. All in all, I felt like she was safe and she got to be around other dogs.

Our young black lab goes here sometimes a few visits a week. He gets excited when he knows he's going there & runs to the door when we get to Sully's. It has been a great opportunity for socializing him, since he's a young dog. Every time we get him back he is exhausted from all the playing. I enjoy that they also have webcams, so you can see what your pup is up to throughout the day. Pretty cool. Definitely recommend this place. My only wish is they were open on weekends & had overnight, for those few times we need a dog sitter, because they're fabulous people.

I started taking my rescue, Roxie, here a year ago. She suffered from severe separation anxiety and I was nervous about leaving her anywhere. Sully's was the first place I have found where she is excited to leave me! The staff are friendly, professional, and most importantly, Roxie loves going to daycare. Highly recommend!

My Siberian Husky loves this place! I love that my dog can still play and get some exercise on those days I'm booked solid at work, or when the weather makes an outdoor run a less attractive option. The folks that work there really know and love dogs.

Kat’s daughter Shannon and her partner Tim, watched my husband’s and I’s 3 dogs and kitten. We were super anxious because this was our first time traveling without our pets. It made us feel a lot better that they offer to stay in home with our pets, especially because it was a holiday season. We got to meet Kat beforehand and she got to know our pets and their habits/routines. They sent us pictures every other day and communicated with us. Our pets seem happy and healthy upon our return, and our house was clean as well, so we will definitely use again in the future!!

Kat and her husband Chris were absolutely the best people to have come to our home and watch our 3 dogs and cat. Not only did they make our animals feel better that we were gone for 4 days, but they took care of things around the house for us as well. Kat and Chris went above and beyond to make sure my boyfriend, our animals and I were happy. Kat sent me pictures of all the animals during each visit to show me how they all were doing while we were all the way in Phoenix Arizona. All the animals loved them as well as well us. My oldest dog has diabetes and requires a shot of insulin after each meal, so I was stressed to the max while trying to find someone to watch them. Kat did a wonderful job of making sure my old guy was completely taken care of with his meds, and hand feeding him, as he is extremely spoiled. If you need someone to come and watch your pets, Kat and Chris are the people to ask

Kat took excellent care of our kitty while we were away. She was friendly and very thorough in her initial meet and greet which really makes you feel like she understands animals and their various needs. We got regular updates and will definitely reach out to her again when we go away next!

Purrs 'n' Wags Pet Sitting has been my go-to source for excellent care when I have to leave my pup. They are highly professional, very caring, and just the best people for peace of mind when I can't be at home. Kat is the only one I want taking care of my dog and the two have bonded beautifully. They also, by the way, do dog walking! They are the absolute best!

The owners of PnW are very caring, careful and reliable. They have pet sat in my home several times over several years and I trust them implicitly. They have given my pets medications and responded quickly to special requests. I don't know what I would do without them!

I’ve been taking my puppy here for daycare for a little over a month now, and it’s been great! My pup gets soooo excited when he sees the building and staff, that alone shows how well they take care of him! The initial playgroup assessment was thorough, which gave me peace of mind knowing that he is being set up for success. The staff is so thoughtful, accommodating, and attentive to his needs. They always let me know if there’s any changes to his behavior during play time or crate time. It’s great to know that my dog is being safely cared for while having a blast with his playmates!

Our dog seems happy when he comes home and we love the memos. they took care when introducing him to the group play which we really appreciate. We are so grateful to have a safe and fun place for our dog to stay when we go out of town!

The Pet Hotel does it all... boarding, daycare, grooming... We are so grateful for their services and the peace of mind we have when we need to leave our pup during a vacation. Our dog loves going to daycare and we have had a good experience working with the staff. We also love that they have an app where we can view our boarding reservations and photos they have shared of our dog. Highly recommend!

I frequently board my two, quirky pups, with very different personalities , and both are always well taken care of. My one little guy is a reactive pup and they totally get it and more than meet his needs, which allows me to have piece of mind while I have to be away from him. I cannot say enough about the quality staff who work here. Kudos to them.

We have a seven year old Pomeranian Chihuahua mix, and he absolutely loves being dropped off whether it’s a day or 2 weeks at Albany Pet Hotel! The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and take wonderful care of our dog. It’s nice to know that we have such great people looking after our dog when we are gone on trips. In addition to this, the staff always give our dog lots of attention and treat him and us like family. We could not be happier!

Loved Albany Pet hotel! This was our first pet hotel experience and we were so happy with the care that they gave to our pupper. It’s his first time staying in a pet hotel and he’s a very young rambunctious puppy, we were glad that he enjoyed his first experience so much. We opted to add on a daily picture check in and we’re very happy to get daily pics to see how he was doing (included in the review). Our little guy also has anxiety from his time in foster care and we’re glad that the staff was very patient and gentle to him. 10/10 would recommend the Albany Pet hotel for your lil one’s next stay or daycare.

Izzy has been staying at the Albany Pet Hotel since 2014. She is always well cared for and especially enjoys “Small Dog Group”! During one stay Izzy wasn’t eating well so the staff added a little cooked chicken to her food and of course she ate that. Now we prepare enough for the length of her stay and the staff adds it. That was above and beyond and we appreciate it. A year ago we were on a Transatlantic cruise over Halloween and they emailed this photo of Izzy in her costume, again above and Beyond. We highly recommend Albany Pet Hotel for all your fur babies!

My dogs love going to daycare at Albany pet hotel. As soon as we get to the street they start to get excited. They always come home happy and tired.

Use them primarily for grooming. Great customer service, dog is happy when she comes out and is soft and clean. Which is pretty impressive cause she is a stinky dog

Debby has been taking excellent care of our furry buddies for several years. She takes the time to get to know each of our pets treating them as if they were her own. Debby has been wonderful about meeting the unique needs of each pet and situation. She quickly returns calls to schedule pet sitting and is most willing to stay in touch, when needed, while we are away to let us know how things are going back home. We place complete trust in Debby each and every time we leave our beloved pets and our house in her care. We cannot imagine having anyone else provide pet care services for us! We need more than 5 stars to say how much we appreciate all that she does for us while we are away. Thank you Debby!

Debby has been our pet sitter for the past 5 years and has taken care of our cats every time we are away from home. The first cat she cared for was a very long-haired Persian we adopted when the kitty was 14 years old. She was a fabulous kitty but had some medical problems and all the Persian-specific issues, including requirement for daily eye care and brushing. Our second kitty, also a Persian, adopted as an adolescent kitten, requires similar daily attention. Debby has taken great care of both cats. In addition, she provides updates (text messages or phone calls) on a regular basis when we are away for more than 1-2 days. We are extremely pleased with the service she provides and are very glad she is willing to travel from Albany to Corvallis to take care of our pets.

I have had Petwatchers watch my pets for many years now. I tend to be picky about their care and Petwatchers aways exceeds my expectations. I have many types of animals from dogs, cats, chicken, fish and even my three very spoiled horses. I come home from vacation and my home and pets act and look like I was never gone. We have boarded our kitties with Pampered Cat Boarding repeatedly. Most recently we travelled overseas for several weeks and left them in her care. JANNEE DOES AN OUTSTANDING JOB LOOKING AFTER THEM. Every single day during our travels we received multiple pictures as well as updates on their status/activities and were able to communicate with Jannee any time we wished to do so. As far as we are concerned, Pampered Cat Boarding is the gold standard of kitty hotels, full stop.

Jannee is knowledgeable, skilled and most of all - truly loves cats. My two kitties (Joey & Gracie) stayed at Pampered Cat Boarding for a week and it was hands down the best boarding experience we’ve had. I had great peace of mind leaving them there. Joey is 18 years old and requires daily medications and Gracie is…. Well, we’ll call her a tough nut to crack. Not only did Jannee have no problem administering meds, she is also very tuned in to cat behavior and allows them to lead the way, tailoring human interaction, playtime and other forms of stimulation to the cat’s comfort level. What is typically a stressful situation especially for the kitties was as easy as it could have been. In the future, if Jannee has room I wouldn’t think of leaving them anywhere else. Pampered Cat Boarding is the best option I’ve come across and I’m so happy to have found it!

This is the first time I've used Pampered Cat Boarding. They exceeded my expectations by a mile. The boarding area was exceptionally clean. Each "unit" was spacious, with multi-level shelves, a window, and videos for cats was playing on TV. The owner, Jannee was attentive, but more importantly, she was knowledgeable about cats. I will absolutely use her services again. I felt confident that my cat was in a safe and comfortable environment, which made it easier for me to leave my cat there.

Jannee was incredibly helpful and knowledgable. We were moving from Oregon to Dallas Texas and had to put Miss Kitty on a plane for the first time. Jannee picked up our cat ,boarded her overnight, transported her to her vet appointment for a physical and nail trim. She went out of her way on her day off to swing by the pet pharmacy and get Kitty back home for us because we were in a crunch to get out of town. We weren't sure how stressful this would be for Kitty, but she arrived back home perfectly calm and ready to fly. We've been using All Pet Sitting for over a year now and we love her. She even called us one weekend when our fish tank was looking exceptionally green (harmless algae - we were having filtration problems!) and asked if she should clean it. I told her not to worry about it, but how nice to ask! Our cats love her, she's been very reliable, and she's even been able to help us out on multiple occasions on short notice.

Mandy was our sitter for ~3 years while we lived in Corvallis and she was fantastic the entire time! Reliable, communicative, and I could tell in the photos that our kitties were having a good time with her.

I have been a client of Mandy's for almost 5 years, and she has been a wonderful caretaker to our cats over the years while we are away. She is highly communicative, reliable, very patient, and will go the extra mile. I always love getting her daily updates when she goes to visit our cats. Most recently, during a Christmas morning visit, she noticed a natural gas smell outside our house and called the fire department, who ended up dealing with the neighbor's gas leak. She ensured the safety and well-being of our furry family members, and I highly recommend her business to anyone in the area who finds themselves in need of pet-sitting.

So glad we found Mandy! We're new to the area and this is the first time we've ever needed a dog walker. We were a little nervous because one dog is very anxious, and the other is territorial. Mandy has walked them 3 times now and it's been great every time. She always sends a photo and a text to check in. Her rates are also excellent, and I've already recommended her to a few coworkers.

I moved to Corvallis last fall and was in need of finding reliable and trusty-worthy pet care for my two cats for frequent work travel. My cats are a little skittish but like social contact, and I was a bit worried how they would react to leaving them alone. Mandy has been amazing. She gives such thoughtful care and attention to the cats and gives frequent updates on their well being while I'm away. Her professionalism and care for details surpasses all my expectations. In addition her rates are very reasonable especially for the high level of care she provides. Whenever I return from a trip, the place is clean and the cats are calm and relaxed - and I think that speaks loads to the care she provides.

The staff were super welcoming and nice! My dog stayed in boarding for almost 2 weeks and came back happy as ever, I loved seeing the ‘letter from camp’ everyday and could tell she was having so much fun! I will definitely be returning the next time I am out of town

I have two border collies and they spent a week there and did so good. The staff were wonderful and the dog s seemed like they really enjoyed themselves. I loved the letters every day and photos. It made me feel more at ease be far away! Will be using them again in the future.

Friendly staff, wonderful experience with boarding and daycare. Our dog is always having the time of his life when we get the "letters from camp" sent to us while he's there. He's always excited to see the staff, and you can tell they really care about your dog! Worth the price, knowing that they only play with 2-4 dogs at a time, and are actually paying attention.

This place is amazing. The price is worth it for boarding and knowing your dog is in good hands. It is such a nice relief to not worry about your fur baby while away. They are clean, and take the time to know your dog. The daily letters from camp are amazing. I can tell my dog was well taken care of and looked happy in the pictures I got. It is clean and the dogs are in excellent hands. They listen to what you say about your dog and they actually care and follow through. I attached a picture they sent me of my dog, you can tell he is happy.

Great place to leave your dog. Little hard to get there and don’t go on icy day🤣 Very clean and organized. They give your dog plenty of attention, training and walks. I can't say enough good things about Field of Dreams! We come here for both boarding and daycare and they are the best! Their staff is so attentive and kind to the dogs under their care. They really get to know each of the dogs which makes me feel like I am leaving my dog with someone who is going to take great care of her! They know when to give the dogs a break and when to give them one-on-one play time or group play time, it's very well structured. I highly recommend sending your pup here!
