Christy is so kind, compassionate, understanding, and fun! She took great care of our 2 dogs over a long weekend. Her general knowledge of dogs blew my mind! The facility is very clean, very big, and Christy works hard to ensure the dogs all have a great experience. I will only use Camp Christy!

We have been using Christy's boarding service for several years and she is always flexible and cares for our English Mastiff as if she were her own. The space is perfect and every dog there gets personal attention and plenty of time out of their kennel for exercise and cuddles!!!

Christy was so kind and professional, flexible, and great with communication. I was nervous about boarding our dog for the first time, but she was well cared for and had a fun time while we were gone on vacation. I felt like Christy loved her like we do. We will definitely use her boarding services again.

We had a family member in hospice, and they were rapidly declining...so we had to rush out to Allegan from our hometown in the Detroit suburbs. We needed to board our three dogs on Memorial day weekend. Our local dog boarding was booked, so I called Camp Christy and by luck she had three spots open. Christy is very knowledgeable, and dogs are her profession. I chose her facility because it was further off the main roads than the other facilities. After meeting Christy and seeing the yard, the accommodations where our dogs were sleeping, we were able to tend to our family's needs, and not worry about our dogs. They were in great hands, and all had a great time there. I cannot thank them enough. Really great people.

I highly recommended Camp Christy. When I go on vacation I know my dogs are being very well taken care of. I love how Christy’s facility has its own living room and tv for the dogs. I like that my dogs get couch time hanging out. My dogs come home happy and tired. Christy also trains dogs and she has trained several of my dogs over the years. Christy is definitely is a great mentor and lots of experience with dogs.

We love it when Christy takes care of our fur babies. Whenever we drop them off we know that they are getting the best care. She makes sure that they have plenty of play and rest time. Plus we can get them groomed while they are there. Nice big yard for them to play in and large kennels with cots, toys, and blankets for them to be comfortable while they lounge. I would recommend camp Christy for anyone who needs doggy daycare either for the day or for extended periods.

The best! Christy cleans yard and kennels multiple times daily and works with all the dogs both inside and out. There is no more thoughtful care anywhere!

Camp Christy is pristine, while the facility is a little "rough around the edges" it is so clean you could almost eat off the floor, she keeps the yard clean, and the dogs are happy and well adjusted when they leave. My dogs LOVE going and working with Christy, because she has a true understanding of animal behavior and husbandry. I would recommend her to ANYONE.

I would give Camp Christy 10 stars. Her place is very clean and well maintained. She does spend alot of time playing with the dogs who visit her. They get couch time,with her so they don't have to be kenneled all the time. It's an awesome place and I would Never take my dogs anywhere else to board or train. I have Italian greyhounds. They love Christy.

I've been boarding my dog's at Camp Christy for the past 2 years. She gives them individualized attention and a lot of time outside. I get to see photos of my dogs playing on her Facebook page which I love. I appreciate the care she puts into my dogs. She even grooms them upon request! They come home clean and happy everytime. Countryside Kennels is the best in the area. Winn loves visiting for doggie daycare and has boarded during long vacations several times. He is always happy and excited when we arrive. The doggie dome is awesome and a great fit for friendly, social dogs. I researched and used several kennels in West Michigan and have found no better then Countryside. The staff is amazing and kind and the facility is awesome. I drive almost 45 minutes to use them and for good reason. They give your dog a fun and loving environment.

Edit: added 1 star due to positive response from owner. We used Countryside Kennels two times over the past year, and both times our dog came home with diarrhea that lasted several days. She also came home smelling like fecies, but also smelling of some sort of sweet detergent-like smell. My hunch is that they never let her outside to go to the bathroom, so she defecated in her kennel and instead of bathing the feces off her, they used one of those chemical handy wipes, and when she licked herself clean she ingested some of the chemicals from the handy wipes, giving her diarrhea. I would caution anyone against using this already-expensive kennel, but if you do make sure tack on the additional expense of extra outside time. We have reverted to driving 45 minutes to a kennel in Rockford that we trust. Our dog has never gotten sick one time out of a dozen or so visits.

We've taken our dogs here several times for day care, and they always come home happy and exhausted. It was because of this that we trusted Countryside enough to leave our dogs with them for two weeks. We could not have been happier. The dogs were healthy, happy, and clean at the end of two weeks. The way they spoke of our dogs it was obvious that they spent quality time with each one, enough to really understand their very different personalities. I feel the love and care they show each dog is exceptional, and we'll continue to bring our dogs here.

I am grateful for the pleasant experience we had boarding out dog at Countryside! Our pup normally gets watched by friends and family and he hadn't been to boarding in a long time. Naturally, I was diligent in finding a place that was welcoming and accommodating to our dog and most especially allowed play time during his weekend stay. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and when we picked him up he was wiped, which is a happy sign that he got some great play time during his stay. The staff also obliged in my phone call to check in on him as well. Although we do not board our dog often & live outside of town, we will most certainly make Countryside our #1 choice for our dog's care and we will happily make the drive for their service when needed. My family has sent our dogs here for the past....+15 years? They have ALWAYS been given excellent care. Since most of our pets have been Australian Shepherds, we have also taken the chance to have them groomed while they were boarding there. The grooming as well has been excellent, and they always come back with a spray, or conditioner, smell that is amazing! Now that I am married, with a pet of my own. (And planning a vacation soon) I will be phoning you Monday morn to make an appointment for my own family dog. I look forward to doing business with you again ! And writing another positive updated review!!!

Countryside Kennels is amazing!! My lab Gus loves going there! He knows the way to the kennel and when we turn down the road he goes nuts with excitement!! They are so nice and caring! I have never had an issue with them!! When I was on my honeymoon they were awesome about letting me call and get little updates on Gus since it was the longest he had ever been boarded!! I highly recommend them to anyone!!

My Golden Retriever is just a year old and we have brought him there about 5 times now and each and Every time it has been an Amazing Experience!!! He is Perfectly groomed and smells soo good! His coat feels like he has his puppy coat again (incredibly Soft and smooth!) My dog absolutely Loves going to "The Kennel" because he knows how much fun he has there! Thank you so much Country Side Kennels for taking such amazing care of my baby boy!!! Highly, HIGHLY recommended!

Our "baby" is a high maintenance one, however, we have definitely found the place to comfort him when we are away. We've brought our dog here for a few years now and have been very happy with the services. Our "baby" seems to always be happy to come and the customer services is great! I believe her name is Patti, but she is so sweet to our baby and I know he gets great care from her. From the minute we make the appt on the phone to when we pick him up, she is just so bubbly! Charlie is always smelling so fresh when he leaves and this is the place we'll continue to go!

My wife tried multiple times to reach them and I am a witness of at lest one voice message left. They didn’t return the calls and now are saying they were not contacted. We had to leave our dear dog home :(
