Our greyhound Wizard had a great time staying at Nicola's farm - he was made to feel one of the family and looked after excellently. Nicola is a genuine dog lover and it comes across in her care and interaction with your dog. Definitely recommended. SO much nicer than leaving your dog in a big kennels!

We thought that we were having all the fun on our holiday, until we looked at the photos of our two boys paddling in the burn and having a ball with their new best pals, Ollie and Bailey! We felt completely confident leaving our dogs with Nicola, especially as Max, our golden doodle, has Addison's disease and so needs a bit of extra care. We've tried kennels before and felt anxious about leaving them, but Nicola provides a genuine home from home bespoke service, and it's clear that she's both knowledgeable and caring. It was great to see regular photo updates throughout the holiday, and both our boys have come home completely fit, happy and relaxed and, I suspect, wondering how soon they can go back.

We can't recommend Nicola and her partner enough, and what a fabulous setting! Teddy looks like a lap dog but just loves the outdoors and never wants to come in! You can imagine our delight to see updates daily of him running outside and paddling in streams, he looked very comfy of an evening as well. We got a lovely welcome from him when collecting but it was short lived as he ran straight back into the house......the traitor! Teddy will definitely be returning, he was a very happy dog here.xxx

I cannot recommend Swinhope Mill Boarding enough, Nicola and her partner enough really looked after our two girls like their own. Our youngest suffers from separation anxiety and we didn’t know how she’d cope. We didn’t need to worry at all. Her bed came back in tact and not destroyed which showed how settled she’d been. The girls didn’t seem to want to leave and were so chilled. We previously put them in a kennel when we went on holiday and they came back so stressed. We were updated regularly with photos which let us know they were ok. We will only be using Nicola in the future for dog boarding. She is fantastic and knows dogs well and any dog in her care will get love and excellent home from home care.

Nicola and her family ensured Tilly was introduced slowly to other dogs. She had great walks and we received some lovely picture of Tilly out for a walk. Having your dog home boarded is so much less stressful than kennels. We can not be more happy with Swinhope Mill Boarding.

Nicola is fantastic, she knew how to make our young and slightly crazy dog feel right at home and gave her the exercise and attention she needs. It's so nice to be able to relax when you're away knowing your pooch is being well cared for!

My dog absolutely loves his time at Swinhope. Not only is it a perfect rural setting from him, but he gets the best of care with loads of new mates to play with too. It’s taken me a good while to find the right place for him and I travel a fair distance to take him here, but it’s totally worth it as I know he’s loved in his second home.

I will definitely book my dogs in with Nicola again. They came home so relaxed and happy. Swimhope Mill is such a lovely place for a dog holiday.

We have used these kennels on several occasions and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Golden Retriever has just come back from home from home boarding after an 18-night stay. These kennels have to be one of the best around . The staff are great , no nasty kennel smell when he comes back and a washed bed !.

Wouldn’t take our dogs anywhere else, the service Home From Home provide is excellent. We began boarding our dogs here after a negative experience with another boarding kennels, so were quite dubious of trying out another place in case the same thing happened. However, the staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, and it’s clear they care about the dogs and cats as if they were their own. If there’s ever been an issue with our dogs they’re always quick to communicate it to us, and we know that our dogs are in safe hands when left here. Especially love the Facebook updates of your pets, so you get to see they’re doing just fine without you.

Jasper has stayed with Home from Home a few times now. He really seems to enjoy himself. He is well looked after by the staff and loves his walks through the woods. Thank you for another enjoyable stay for Jasper, and we'll see you next time.

Any questions or anxieties were put to bed with my dogs staying here. Staff very helpful and willing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place, they seemed to genuinely love and care for all the dogs. My 2 returned home tired and seemed to enjoy their little mid week stay. Provisionally booked again for next year.

We all miss our pets terribly when we put them in kennels and go on holiday. The care here is fabulous and they regularly post your pooch having fun walking the woods or in the bark park, which is very reassuring. Well done again guys, wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Went for a visit with my dog so he can get used to the place and using the bark park. Absolutely over the moon found this place. Lively staff, especially Claire and brilliant price. Out the way so don't nneed to worry about my dog possibly trying to do the great escape and not near main road. Can also book online which is a bonus. Definitely booking the park out for my dog as he loved it and sulked as he had to leave.

At first, this place seemed perfect for our dog who had anxiety issues around other dogs as we could pay extra to keep her in a separate living area in her own room. But when she stayed one night for a trial period, because she was old and it was a new experience, she had wee'd a few times, as most dogs do. When we went to pick her up on the Saturday, we were told that we were late picking her up as all the staff finished midday on the Saturday and there was only the owners staying over the weekend, which made me think the dogs weren't getting very much attention over that period. We were also told that if she wee'd a few times when she stayed, she would have to be put in with the other dogs kennels, which was what we were paying for her NOT to be put in. The thought of this happening when we were on holiday, we abandoned our plans for her to stay here and would advise other dog owners who have dogs with similar issues, to consider this too.

Augie's in his element here and always comes home looking smart. Mary is wonderful with the dogs and such a lovely person. Nothing is too much trouble and reasonably priced.

Fantastic friendly service, our dogs look, feel and smell great and they seem to enjoy their time being pampered by Mary.
