Highly recommend! I am a petsitter and really needed a petsitter while I had to take a trip out of the country and this was a perfect fit. My 2 small dogs had so much fun with the other dogs in their care! The dogs are in the home with them and they have access to an outdoor patio area and play yard. No cages or kennels. Kristen was amazing, she sent me photos and videos of my pups every day. It was hard to go out of town because I would miss them so much them, but I felt very good about their care and knew they were safe, getting exercise and being loved on. Thanks again to Kristen and her husband!

We boarded our dog Nugget at Wolf Rd Pet Retreat while on vacation. Kirsten and Mike opened up their home and welcomed Nugget like he was their own. Great pet sitter. They welcome the animals into their home like they’re their own. They also pay keen attention to the interactions of the animals with one another making sure all are doing well and no Alpha dominates the others. I was also particularly impressed with how clean everything was. This is impressive given the nature of this work and demonstrates how they care for the animals. We’ll be back. Thank you!

Kirsten pet sit our dog and two cats for a week while we were on vacation. From beginning to end, it was a smooth experience and our fur babies were content and happy when we returned. Kirsten was also kind enough to water our garden that we had just planted and our flowers while we were away. She is reliable and responsible and kept us updated with texts and photos so that we knew our pets were in good hands. Kirsten and Mike do an excellent job. Got pictures and updates daily for a 13 day stay. Our dog rarely is boarded and he had a good time. Would highly recommend them and Porter(the dog) will be back. Great place

We were in town for a couple days, and needed care for our dog Kaia on two separate occasions. Kirsten was super communicative, easygoing, and offered wonderful care for our dog. Each day Kaia came back very happy :), and we had total peace of mind knowing she was in good hands.

Kirsten was able to help me out in a pinch. She stepped in gracefully, did a fabulous job and my pets seemed to really love her. I came back home to a stress-free home and got pictures every morning of my "kids" 😘 …

We were going out of town for 3 nights and Wolf Road Retreat was close by and thought we would give a try for our Chanel(cat). I'm very picky and was nervous but Kristin shared photos and videos throughout the day and was in contact stating all was OK. Chanel seemed very happy which of course we were (are) happy. John Paul is an authentic human who is so sweet and loving to animals! My pup is a bit nervous and has a gentle soul, JP was nurturing and she quickly warmed up! I will definitely be bringing her back to Critter Stay Care! Thanks JP 💕🐾 …

I hired Critter Stay Care to help put with my 4 month old puppy. John Paul has been coming over twice a week to let out and play with her when I have long days at work. He is warm and affectionate with her and I feel she is safe in his care. Now that she is older he has been taking her to the park and then generously bringing her to my office in town. He's been super flexible and accommodating of my changing needs.

My experience with Critter Stay Care has been a wonderful one. I'm grateful to John & his partner Aggie for being such warm hearted and caring people who take really great care of my pup Zia while she stays with them. It's obvious Zia enjoys her time at their weekly doggie daycare; she's always so excited when I bring her. I'd highly recommend them.💜
