Where our 2.5-year-old husky-dominant rescue was going to stay for 10 days while I traveled with my family to donate one of my kidneys to a friend in Arizona had me in knots. I couldn’t have her feeling abandoned, trapped in a kennel the majority of the day at a boarding facility, paying extra to have her exercised for a short amount of time each day. Unable to find a private home situation she could stay in due to vacation schedules, a friend said she’d heard good things about Doggone Farm. I got in touch with the owner Gabbie and it was a match made in heaven from the beginning!!! We went for a meet-n-greet and I was SO PLEASED to see Akira blend right in. She immediately began tearing around the expansive grounds, sectioned off for safety and variety of environments. Yet for as gated and sectioned as it is, it doesn’t feel that way; it feels like home. After verifying/taking care of all the necessary health requirements, Akira was good to go and scheduled in for our dates. Drop off and pick up reminded me of my preschool teaching days. Instead of being a guide for children, Gabbie is a consummate guide of dogs! Everything is professional yet loving, safe yet fun. The dogs all live and interact as a pack, except for feeding so as to make sure that they are all getting adequate nutrition. Gabbie posts pictures so that you can see your family member having fun outside, interacting inside, and/or settling in for the evening. For Easter, I have a picture of Akira with bunny ears :) Now that I think of it, Gabbie runs Doggone Farm much like the best daycare. She is oh so knowledgeable and obviously loves what she’s doing. You can tell that she treats and loves on all of her charges as if they were her own. Whether for socialization purposes or out of necessity due to personal circumstances, you can rest assured that the time your four-footed child spends at Doggone Farm will be the time of his/her life!! Could not recommend more the most amazing services of Doggone Farm and Ms. Gabbie, and cannot wait to return!!

We have a fairly energetic pup, and needed to find some places to socialize him during the pandemic. I am more than happy to say Doggone Farm was a fantastic choice. Our pup is getting some great face to face (or otherwise) with dogs of different ages, off leash, and can run around Doggone Farm's property to really get out that energy.

Our dogs always have a great time at Doggone Farm, and I really appreciate the hands-on attention that I know they're getting. Being able to check in with photos and video is a great tool for a puppy parent. Gabbie and Stew go above and beyond to offer the best possible care.

I took my dog here only because it was recommended. I have an 8 year old Aussie (boy dog named Sasha) who I have never boarded or left at any type of dog daycare. I've always been hesitant to leave my dog off with a stranger. Especially since I know that my dog is a bit anxious when left with new people (even for a few minutes). He has only ever stayed with my parents and siblings. When I got there, it was a fenced in house with a lake and a lot of space. Gabbie met my dog first before introducing him to any other dogs. She asked us questions, and we explained Sasha's personality. She then introduced our dog to her dog, and observed their energy. Then she brought out one dog at a time until all dogs were out and were able to meet my dog. This gave me a good feeling, because she obviously knew what she was doing. It was not a place where my dog was put in a cage, but a place where he was part of a group. When I left he gave me the you-are-abandoning-me look. I am not the type of person to really worry, but it was great that a few hours later, i got a message from Gabbie saying my dog had settled in nicely. She sent me a picture of him, and when i checked the next day, she had dozens of pictures of the activities all the dogs did for the day. At that point I knew my dog probably already forgot who i was and was having the time of his life. I picked him up 2 days later, and he came out like if he owned the place. He came out with his head up, a smile one his face, and a tail that wagged 100 wags/second. I would recommend this place to anyone. Sasha will be back this month!

They are very accommodating. Their facility is extremely welcoming to dogs. Ours always have the best time!

Gina is great! She sends text/picture updates and gets to know your pet first so you know they're loved while you're away! Thanks to her, our guinea pigs got to stay home safe and comfortable instead of having to board at the vet. Would recommend!

Gina is a pro! The hardest part of going away, even for a couple of nights, is leaving our fur babies. Millie (our dog) loves Gina. We feel very comfortable leaving her and our two cats knowing that they are in very good hands. Super reliable and always a pleasure to work with... Highly recommended!

I always take my dog here when I am away on vacation and this is the only place I trust with my dog. My dog has special needs that they accommodate with the best care, time and consideration. The business owner is very kind and, most importantly, very knowledgeable about dogs, their behaviors, and what they need in order to have a better life for the dog and the owner. I have done the day care and private dog training and it did not disappoint. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Like many Australian Shepards, our Milo can be a handful when it comes to care. Combine that with the behavioral issues he developed from his time at the shelter and many exchanges of ownership, we knew we had to search for the best services possible when it comes to daycare/boarding. Diane and her team were highly recommended to us by our dog trainer. Diane is very knowledgeable and patient with us and our pup, and she provides exceptional training to her staff as well. When Milo is unable to join us on our family travels, there is no other group we trust more than Beyond The Walk, because that is exactly what the provide - thoughtful care, stimulation, and training that extends BEYOND the basic boarding and walk a dog needs. TLDR - Diane and her group are cool people, and they know dogs!

Update 7/21/23: I’m back to say that we are still incredibly pleased with the services that Beyond the Walk offers. Diane and her staff go above and beyond to make sure the dogs (and families) are comfortable with their stay. My husband and I have added a third dog in the past year and we wouldn’t be able to go on vacation if we didn’t have the right place to care for our dogs. Our newest pup is blind, so that leaves us with two special needs dogs and a third dog who has had several medical challenges this year. Beyond the Walk offers a calm, nurturing environment that considers the individual needs of each dog including training goals, personality and play style. My dogs would not do well in a typical kennel environment and I know that they receive the best care possible here. I would recommend anyone to use Beyond the Walk without hesitation. Rebel, Shea and Annie highly approve! My husband and I are thrilled with our experiences at Beyond the Walk. I have two rescue hounds and they adore Diane. I am always so anxious to leave them, especially with one of my pups being blind. Diane makes us feel so comfortable and I have total confidence in her care. I get picture and video updates and she individualizes the care she gives each dog. She knows what they like and helps out with your dogs’ training goals. Beyond the Walk is the only place my dogs will stay!

I have been bringing my two dogs to Diane and Beyond the Walk for over 2 years now. She has done an amazing job care for my pups and has been a wealth of knowledge with their behavior. Since my schedule changes, she is always available to help and take my dogs for daycare on short notice. I highly recommend BTW to anyone looking for daycare, boarding, and training.

Our dog needs more than most places are willing to provide in boarding. Beyond the Walk is able to give him everything he needs and more. He’s actually happy to go visit when he has the chance. They do a great job with him and I am so grateful that we found them!

My husband and I recently found Diane after looking for a new boarding place for our anxious and reactive pup. Diane is amazing in the boarding/care for my dog. She treats my dog like he’s part of the family. Her knowledge of dogs is outstanding. I used to board my dog at a kennels and that was always a nightmare on whether he was being taking care of. When I drop off my dog for boarding at Diane’s, it’s like he’s going to his 2nd home. He can’t wait to get out of my car. I would HIGHLY recommend Diane for any training/boarding you need for your dog.

Beyond the Walk is great! We have been going here since day 1 when we got our puppy. It is great socialization and was very good to get my puppy used to crate training. When we were away, Diane sends us photos of our dog having the best time! She keeps us informed and gives us updates. There is no hesitation on where to bring her when we are away. What we really like is Diane bases playtime on the friendliness and temperament of each dog. Diane is very knowledgeable in nutrition as well as many other aspects to make sure we have what is the best for our pup - it helped us make a very conscious decision for what to look for in dog food. The location from our home is a little out of our way but we still wouldn't consider going anywhere else!

I was so nervous about boarding my dog with a new boarder after a bad experience with Clip Shoppe but am so glad I chose Beyond the Walk. Diane is phenomenal with my very large, energetic, anxious Doberman. She is knowledgeable and gives advice on what we should do about his anxiety and endless energy. She is fantastic with training and all the girls there are so friendly and responsible. Pricing is reasonable (though honestly I don't care what the cost is, Diane's services are top notch and my dog is worth every penny). The yard they have for the dogs is huge and the house is always clean. I know my sweet boy is always in good hands when I board him at BtW. I reccommend Beyond the Walk to everyone.

Diane is an absolute life saver, and we are so happy she came into our lives several years ago, honestly, she is one of the best things that has come into our doggies lives(multi dog household). (I was previously more involved with foster/animal rescue prior to my wife/human child). I / We (the fur babies included) had a traumatic event several years ago with the WRONG person that was hired (this was obviously not Diane) my OG first dog of my adult life ended up in ICU fighting for his life and ultimately lost his ear. I remember my first call to Diane, I was nervous "will they be safe, there was this event" of course she talked me off the ledge, they had a meet and greet and of course they did well their first visit away from me, and their second, third, millionth. She is a life saver, she held them a bit longer when we moved, so we could quickly hire painters to quickly paint the entire house before my k9 crew came in and "painted" themselves. She was ready in the event my wife went into labor with our human baby, but we were fortunately were able to coordinate a drop off. She is full of knowledge, and is a great sounding board, and totally nonjudgemental. She helped me talk over a previous dog that I had who had a severely declining neurological problem. (He crossed the rainbow bridge) My one who currently stays with Diane when we vacation has several medical conditions Hydro, cleft, epi. He doesn't need TONS of medical care, but he beats to his own drum and needs medication with his food. Diane isn't swayed by it and just meets him where he's at each day!. I had previously had a more "energetic" dog, who had both cruciates repaired, broken his leg, arthritis, and would just need to burn a lot of energy off before he would calm down. Diane didn't mind, just another dog! My heart broke a bit a few weeks back when I texted her to tell him he crossed the rainbow bridge. My dogs have been going to Dianes for years, I absolutely trust her and her staff to take care of them. I know they're in good hands. I recommend her and i feel your loved one is in good hands

I have been boarding my various dogs over many years with Northcliff and I didn't realize how much I took them for granted until I had to board at a chain kennel because Northcliff was fully booked. When I looked at other kennel options I realized just how comparatively inexpensive Northcliff is. And I also came to appreciate just how attentive and caring they are. They have always vigilantly monitored my dogs' health and been on top of the slightest of concerns, calling me with updates. They remember every nuance of the dogs' personality and special needs even if it's been a year since they saw them last. And the true test is that when I have picked my dogs up after their stay they have always seemed healthy, happy, and well cared for.

I have never boarded my baby boy for more than 1 night before! This was the first place we really ever boarded him, and for 9 nights. They are absolutely amazing and gave me a piece of mind knowing my baby boy was in great hands! They let me know updates, sent pictures and I know my pup had a great experience! When he came running back in to me, he ran right past me and to the staff that was taking care of him! And he’s a mommas boy! He smelt so good from the bath before he came home too! I will always use them when I go on vacation even though it’s an hour away from where I live! Thank you for a great experience and for taking care of my little one!

After our trip I noticed how excited Charlie was to see us. But what surprised me was how she had to say goodbye to them before leaving. It’s a peace of mind knowing they’ll treat our puppy, Charlie, like their own.

I take my dog here for grooming and they do an absolute amazing job! The staff are very thorough and professional as well as friendly. I haven’t been disappointed yet and I doubt I ever will. It’s also a really nice property they’re located on.

We first found When UR not there Pet Care when we needed a caregiver for our 15 year old blind lab. The staff are all very experienced and gentle with our old boy.they were also very reliable and accommodating even on short notice. I highly recommend them - your pets will be in very good hands!!

I’m so happy we found Leanne’s dog walking company just in time for when moose would be home alone while my husband and I are at work. She has been so reliable and flexible with our constantly changing schedules. Moose is always so happy and content when we come home after a long day. Leanne was recommended to me by a friend when we had a last minute trip come up, she was more then accommodating and came to meet my baby, Reign. Reign struggles with separation and is fearful of new people, but leanne and her daughter were so amazing with her. 🥰 After that first weekend trip and seeing how much Reign loved them, I wouldn’t want anyone else (besides family) to take care of her. Since that first trip away we added a new puppy to the family and Leanne and her daughter were also amazing with him and had no problem doing all things puppy with him and Reign. Making sure they both are taken care of and have all the love while we are working or away. When I broke my leg, Leeanne's son was at my home within 2 hours. For the 5+ weeks I was hospitalized and recovering, Gia and Amelia were treated like the princesses they are!! Care is above and Beyond, could not have been happier.

BIG DOG REVIEW! As I’m sure you other big dog owners can agree, it can be difficult to find trustworthy, confident, and reliable pet sitting. Jody and Mark came by to meet my 165lb St Bernard Hazel Grace, and I just knew from there she was in good hands. Hazel is reactive to other dogs and animals, so I’m always struggling to find pet sitters who can handle her, and relieve me of my anxiety of leaving her when I go on work trips. This has been the best pet sitting experience I have had thus far, Mark was on time, took her on walks despite her difficulty on walks, he handled her well, I didn’t fret for a moment while I was gone. Thank you guys for making this process so enjoyable and relieving! I was able to work flawlessly without concern!

Val has been a true hero to our family. She loves our 3 dogs like they are her own and has gone to great lengths to ensure that her employees are of the best quality and maintain Val's high standards. Boarded our dog Apollo who is a Lab mix for 6 nights. Apollo came home happy as if we never left. The staff definitely pays attention to your pet! Highly recommend. We have used other facilities before and wanted to try canine country club after a friend had referred them. Other places our dog came home and was off. We could tell he was stressed / disgruntled. There is no place better. Dino (our great pyre) has been at a couple places before, but the the care and love he gets at CCC of the Lake is beyond our expectation. He comes home happy and tired. Once he is neutered he will be able to play with the other dogs, but for now, the individual attention he gets from the staff during his day boarding is wonderful! Thank you "CCC of the Lake"!!

Jody and her staff provide the best care. As soon as we pull into the lot our dog gets so excited! He loves spending our vacations with the CCC of the Lake staff and all his fur friends!! Words cannot express how much I appreciate being able to leave our pup and know he is cared for and safe. Also, being able to see all the photos they post each day allows us to see how much fun the dogs have everyday!!

Our dog loves Canine Country Club. She gets so excited when she sees us preparing her food and other stuff we provide. They post pictures of her on Facebook so we can see how much fun she is having, and she always comes back exhausted from so much play time.

I loved boarding my 6 month old lab puppy here; I did a ton of research on many boarding options, and finally, after hearing from my good friend how great this place is, I sent Winston here for 5 nights while on vacation. The grounds are clean, the staff are professional, and Winston came home happy & healthy! I loved seeing his photos being posted every day too- that was a great touch. It’s nice to know CCC exists and will take such good care of my Winston whenever I travel. Thank you!!

This is the place to take your fur babies for daycare or overnight stays. I would not trust anyone else to take care of my fur babies the way they do. The staff is always friendly and accommodating especially because we have one dog who has some special needs and they always rise to the challenge of taking care of her. There is someone in the facility overnight so if you're boarding you can rest assure that there is always someone present. My favorite part has to be the pictures they post on their Facebook page you get to see the dogs at play and enjoying themselves. It gives us reassurance when we are away that they are happy and well cared for.

We have been coming to CCC of the lake for a couple years now and we would not trust any other place with the care of our two dogs. Even as my one dog's needs changed, getting more and more dog selective - the team at CCC of the lake took her in and just gave her more human affection. The facility is clean, their staff CARES and LOVES the dogs in their care - and they go above and beyond to make sure all the dogs in their care are safe at all times. I literally do not trust any other facility to care for my babies, I have peace of mind when they are with CCC of the lake! Thank you always for taking such good care of my babies <3

This is the only place that I trust with the care of my dog. I love how the animals are cared for. That for the most part they are not kept in kennels. They have inside and outside play areas. I highly recommend Canine Country Club to care for your dog. They do day care, if you don't want to leave your friend home alone during the day. I've only had them care for my little buddy when I've had to travel.

First time boarding Cooper and he loved it. He is tuckered out! Every staff member I spoke to was really sweet and you can tell they love their job and really care about the wellbeing of the dogs. I was nervous as this was his first time being boarded but I can tell her had the best time! Thank you to the staff members and everyone who took care of my baby. He can’t wait to stay again! Oh and I loved the pictures they posted every day! 😁

Can’t express enough how grateful I am that we found this dog boarding/daycare for Izzy. Since moving to NJ we’ve been trying to find a perfect place that makes us feel at ease and comfortable and one that Izzy will like. After having a disastrous experience at another place, CCC of the Lake was AMAZING! From the initial conversation all of the staff were so comforting and helped ease our concerns. They upload photos of the pups almost everyday and that truly secured our thoughts on how she was doing for our trip! We saw she was playing and not scared or looking miserable and it was great. We picked her up and she was excited to see us but seemed like she had a great time! We will definitely be back for our annual vacations but also doggie daycare days during the year!
