I definitely recommend Cloud 9. I had a great experience with Jordan! We definitely were facing some challenges, introducing a new puppy to our dog. In just 4 sessions, we went from complete chaos back to a normal routine. Jordan is incredibly skilled and explains everything in details. She is also extremely responsive in between sessions if something comes up.

Jordan and all the members of the team at C9C did an amazing and thorough job of caring for our doggo Bowser while we were out of town. The peace of mind knowing that he was able to spend the day and nights we were away in his home and not at some strange kennel was amazing. The team were outstanding, respectful of our space, sent pictures, updates and most importantly cared for and looked after Bowser. So happy to know there is a group of professionals who can help us when we need to leave town. Would definitely recommend! Thank you all again!

Best pet services of all time, they've dramatically helped our dogs grow and mature, and overall become the best pups they could be. They handled the time we were out of town wonderfully, and their daycare service is unrivaled. The staff is friendly, coordinated, and some of the hard working teams I've seen in the pet care space. I'd recommend them to anybody.

Cloud 9’s Pet Care Pro’s took care of our 2 dogs and 3 cats while we were on vacation for a week. Usually, we have family stay at our house and care for them, but that wasn’t an option this time. We’re so happy with the care received! Our dogs are quite needy, but Cloud 9 took care of everything and provided detailed reports and photos after every visit. They managed to befriend all our fur babies, including our shy cat and our very anxious dog. We are so grateful we decided to give Cloud 9 a try! I think our dogs are probably bummed we came home and their new friends aren’t coming over anymore.

They do a wonderful job! Nicole, Lauren and Lily did an excellent job caring for our sweet kitty Rain. They also take the best pictures and play with your kitty to keep them entertained. I 100 percent would recommend them to anyone needing cat or dog sitting!

We had the best time working with Jordan. I was at a stalemate in training with my dog, as he is a rescue and had an unknown history that caused him to be fearful and disconnected. Jordan helped me understand Walter’s thought process, and we were able to build trust with each other. We started with trick training in order to get a foundation of positive training, and we will be back for more obedience training. My schedule doesn’t allow for weekly classes, and Jordan was very understanding of my schedule. I have a happier and more engaged dog, and I owe a lot of that to Jordan helping me understand his thought processes and instincts.

We had an amazing experience with Cloud 9 Canine Dog Training! Jordan was incredibly helpful in training our dog. She used a consultative approach, carefully analyzing the distractions that were causing undesirable behavior. Jordan's patience with both us and our dog was remarkable. We appreciated the variety of training sessions, which took place at our home, in public, and at their facility. This allowed us to see how our dog responded in different environments. Thanks to Jordan and Cloud 9 Canine, our dog has made fantastic progress!

Cloud 9 Canine team is the best! My dog has taken a few training classes with them. They provide lots of information to continue training once the classes are over not to mention they check in to see how my dog is doing. They also provide exceptional pet care services!

We found Cloud 9 when our usual PetCare options were unavailable to us. And are we ever thrilled to have found them! We have two cats who are a bit skittish around strangers, so we are very particular about who they come in contact with. We were more than pleased with Cloud 9. They communicated with us twice daily with updates and pictures of our pets that did much to alleviate our concerns about them. Our pets were very content when we arrived home and were clearly very well cared for. We will be using Cloud 9 PetCare for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend them!

Our pups love Jean and crew at K9 Care Camp! They are excited the moment we arrive at her door. I know they are well cared for!

The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because they kept our dog alive. I had high hopes for this establishment from reading reviews and having my nerves softened by a nice woman outside who said that they do a great job. My grievances begin here: we were told that she ate well, but having meticulously counted out both breakfast and dinner portions, and adding extra days in case our return was late, there was 3 food portions unused that should have been. She was returned to us with a terrible rash on her stomach. This is a rash that she has had in the past, but it has never been this bad and we were not notified that it had developed this far during her stay, or upon pickup. It was also reported that they had a hard time getting her back inside after yard time. They said that their solution to this was that she was leashed during yard time (you know, when they're supposed to exercise). Our dog came back to us stressed and her behavior is far worse having stayed there. Would not recommend this facility. We have boarded her before with another facility and the stark difference in stress and behavior between there and K9 care camp is saddening.

My two golden retrievers absolutely love going to Camp with Jean! They run right in from the car, go right up to Jean for hugs and they never even look back at me! I love the pictures Care Camp sends me of my dogs and I know they are getting the best of care.

I brought my four Persians for a lions cut. Melissa is an amazing groomer! My cats were happy and they look beautiful. She took great care of my cats. Thank you!!!!

Our miniature schnauzer had her hair and nails done by K9 today. Our experience was wonderful.

I've been taking my dogs to Jean and crew for 6 years and would never consider anywhere else. The personal touch and care my pets get are exceptional. I live in Grand Rapids but choose the 45 minute drive for the best care my pets can get. They are always happy to have a K9 Care Camp sleepover!

We love Beth and Dog Dive ❤️ I've been taking my oldest here for swim therapy for a while now. At 14, her swim days are the highlights of her week. She knows when my rash guard goes on, it's time to go see her buddy and get in the pool. Highly recommend bringing your senior dogs especially as it is such a relief to give their joints a reprieve from gravity with a fun activity they enjoy.

Wonderful and caring experience for our rescue staffy recovering from chemo and advance arthritis in her hips. She LOVES going for a swim with Beth.

Dog Dive has been an exceptional find. My lab has benefited from water therapy for 2 years now. The owners do such a good job working with our Maggie.

My only advice is to CALL and schedule. Don't book online. Otherwise, I cannot recommend this place enough! I would drive across the state, the country, the globe to have my dog swim here! Beth had a variety of treats for dogs to use during their swimming lessons. My boy has severe food allergies and can only have salmon/fish cookies, so this made a great first impression! My dog isn't nervous, but he can be frightful in new situations. Beth saw his heart right away. She met him where he was, pushed when he could handle it, and let him breathe when he needed it. Her extensive training in dog behavior did not go unnoticed! She was so in-tune with his body language and cues. She knows what she's doing, 110%. After our session, my pup was confident, happy, and proud of himself for his hard and brave work overcoming his nerves around the pool. He was practically swimming laps around me at the end! We can't wait to come back.

Always a great place!!! Never a bad experience. My dog is learning how to swim with confidence and it is also fun exercise for her as well. The whole training session is positive. Highly recommend this place.

I've been sending my 8 month old German Shepherd to daycare at Dog Dive for a couple months now. Ronan loves to hang out with his pals in the front office and greet everyone that comes in. I feel so comfortable leaving my fur child with them when I'm at work and can't be with him. He always comes home exhausted from a full day and really I couldn't ask for anything more. We love Dog Dive!

Following my young malamute's surgery on both elbows for dysplasia, aqua therapy was recommended. I spent hours online only to learn that Kalamazoo had no such services available--the closest program being in Grand Rapids. Thank goodness, along came the Dog Dive! Beth took a fraidy-cat mal and by working very gently and POSITIVELY with him, turned him into a boy who LOVES his swim time! Beth and Darryl are both wonderfully kind owners and I'm so glad they've stepped in to meet a major need in the area.

My dog had surgery on both back legs. Each time I used The Dog Dive for her physical therapy. I can’t tell you how much it helped her recover.

Nice, clean facility with fair pricing, especially like that the option for the one on one time is available for our pet. Glad we made this choice!

Excellent dog boarding! Our dog is very shy and loves this place. They have fenced-in yards where they take each individual dog out with a staff member to play with them so dogs don't fight or get hurt. You pay extra for that, but that's good since you can choose how often you want play time during boarding or not at all and are only pay for what you want. The staff are very friendly and kind. I highly recommend them.

We have taken our dog here twice now and I couldn’t be more pleased! The staff are all incredible, they take such good care of the animals! Our dog has terrible anxiety and I always worry when we leave him at a kennel but he came home so happy! We opted in for 2 play times a day which is such a great opportunity for your dog to have personal 1 on 1 time with someone! Absolutely love this place!

I have used Camp Ravenwood Kennels for over 30 years with three separate dogs. Peanuts was first, Kyna second and our latest Kerry. It was so easy to work with Camp Ravenwood and more affordable than I was expecting. We rarely kennel our dogs, but with the ease of scheduling and affordability, we will be back for sure

The location is very convenient with adequate parking. The staff are very friendly and helped my anxious dogs settle in right away. They were willing to accommodate a variable pick up schedule and offered to board the dogs together or apart but adjacent. I boarded the dogs twice about a month and a half apart, and there was no hesitation on the dogs part when going in the second time, which to me meant they were happy there. They came home clean, and happy with no weight loss or any sign of issues. I will definitely board the dogs there again.

We have been taking our dogs there for years. Several dogs ago, at a different facility, we went to drop our dog off while we needed to go out of town for a business trip. She didn't want to leave Mom...'take me with you'...'I'll be a good puppy'...etc. Something came up and we needed to change kennels, so we went here, to Camp Ravenwood. We get there to check her in...the young lady comes to take her to her area and...she didn't even turn around and say 'goodbye'. She was so relaxed and happy that she didn't even notice that Mom and Dad were gone. I can't think of a better validation than that.

Today was our 1st day of daycare. All three of my canine kids were excited to go. 837am and the office was spotless and smelled nice. Employees were all smiles and very helpful ! Great attitudes for an early Monday morning and everything went great for drop-off. You know how you can judge a place and people by how your dogs react, well My three picky dogs didn't hesitate for a second. No nervousness at all! Just good vibes!! I got to enjoy my whole workday and even ran errands after work then picked up at 557pm and wow was I super impressed ! All three dogs were still happy and clean smelling and full of relaxed confident energy we got out to the car and they were falling asleep before we got to the end of the road! A quiet and relaxing drive home for the first time in ages! Prices literally can Not be matched anywhere in this area. Best price and best service! Reputation does preceed them! (i asked around and heard Only Positive praises! ) Hands down the best kennel/daycare I've found in Kalamazoo county! Camp Ravenwood was highly recommend by our vets office and friends. I am so glad we found you! A+ you guys!!!😍🐶❤

She goes to places she’s never been, & is challenged with new smells, new things to see, new people…& this is so good for her!! We have used Creatures Care the last couple of years to care for our furbabies for everything from weeklong crosscountry vacations, to quick, last minute weekend trips. I am so grateful we found a group we can trust with our cats and dog. My cats are super picky, and one has medical issues requiring daily medication. Danielle and Libby have taken such good care of all of them. The updates each visit provide tons of peace of mind. We regularly refer our friends and family to them!

They were absolutely amazing, sharing photos and all of the activities they did during staff visits. It brought us such peace of mind to know our dogs were cared for at home and not just that, they also received constructive play time and best of all, lots of love. I have been impressed by the professionalism and qualifications of Creatures Pet Care. In particular, we appreciate the daily text and photo updates, record keeping system, and their responsiveness to requests. Tami has been great about never assigning a new sitter that we haven't met and approved. Erin has been an excellent addition to the team for cats 😺. Creatures Pet Care is a tad more expensive than my previous pet sitters, but they're definitely worth the price.

Tami and Abbey are simply the best. On the initial meeting our very reactive dog immediately warmed up to Tami. I knew we made the right choice when I saw this. They send you lots of pictures and give you a full report during their drop in visits. They truly love and care for our pups as if they are their own.

Creatures Pet Care, especially Tami, are absolutely wonderful! Tami has been coming about once a week for a little over a year to do training walks and let outs for our dog and we’ve had nothing but the best experience. They send the best updates and photos and it’s so nice knowing we have dedicated, professional, reliable, and knowledgeable people taking care of our dog and getting him exercise on days he has to be alone long. Also, when he was just doing training walks, we saw a difference in how he walked on a leash even after one or two walks! To top it all off, we brought a foster dog into our home only a few days before one let out visit with our dog and I reached out to Tami seeing if there was any issue with two dogs as opposed to one, knowing it was last minute, and I would’ve completely understood if this wasn’t something she could do. Tami assured me with no hesitation that it was not a problem at all and when the day came that she did the let out with both of them, I admittedly was nervous because both dogs are still somewhat puppies with a lot of energy and still getting used to each other and their playing styles and I knew deep down they’re much more work than the normal let outs she was used to. Low and and behold, the check in update and photos came and it was a breath of fresh air that everything went great and that she genuinely seems like she truly enjoys her time with our dog(s). I can’t recommend them enough if you’re looking for someone to check in on/take care of your pets when you’re away!

This is a wonderful place for dog daycare and overnighting. My dog did very well here and all the staff were easy to work with. I knew my dog was well cared for and enjoyed being with the other dogs. He couldn't wait to get out of my car and get inside on drop off. We are no longer here because I moved for a new job, but if I was to come back to the area, this is where my dog would go. Thank you all for taking such great care of my Oscar.

This was the first time our dog had been to a boarding facility and we were very nervous about leaving him. While we were gone, we enjoyed looking at the pictures posted on social media so we could see how much fun he was having. It was easy for me to call and pay over the phone so we could have someone else pick him up. The bath on the day of pick up was so nice! Can't say enough good things about our experience. Thank you!

My family takes their dogs here. THEY ARE THE BEST!!! the staff is fantastic and so understanding that as it's sometimes the fur parents that have separation anxiety rather than the dog. Lol. We had never boarded our dogs before so we were nervous about choosing a place. However My Best Friends Inn put our mind at ease. They were cool with us stopping by to check the place out and did a trial run with our dogs before our actual boarded. Pics were posted to Facebook so we could check on the pups and they were as happy as could be when we picked them up. Would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be using them in the future for our boarding needs.

[UPDATE from 3 to 4 stars because the owner cared enough to call me & discuss this review.] I utilized the kennel boarding services of My Best Friend's Inn 2 times with very different experiences. 1st Visit = 5 Stars Dec 2016 (2 dogs/2 weeks) 2nd Visit = 1 Star July 2023 (2 dogs/3 days) Combined review = 3 Stars DEC 2016: Communication, scheduling, drop-off, and pick-up were ALL GREAT! I was told exactly what was required & had no issues. BONUS: I viewed frequent photos on their social media of my dogs playing throughout their stay. This was an awesome way to see how well the dogs were. BONUS: At pickup, I was pleasantly surprised that both dogs were bathed and didn't have the dreaded "kennel odor." The rate was fair, and the service was excellent! JUL 2023: I called to book with My Bestfriends Inn but initially had to leave a message. Assuming kennels probably have only one staff per shift, I figured they'd return my call when they weren't busy with a customer/animal. But after some time had passed, I eventually called again & reached a staff member who discussed & booked the reservation. A few hours later, I received a return call to again book a reservation, but I reminded her that we had already spoke, and instead I took this opportunity to ask if they'd received our vaccination records yet & if we were all set. During our initial chat, I explained that I hadn't boarded there in 7 yrs and didn't remember any process/requirements. But instead of her telling me the info, I was having to ask for and pull out from her what I thought I needed to know. Instead of telling me what vacc were required, I had to ask "what vacc do you require"? Instead of telling me how meals worked, I had to ask "can I bring their food?", "can I bring a toy, a bed, etc"? It was a little red flag to not clearly be informed, but I just assumed the employee was young or shy on the phone. Despite this, I still assumed the staff would surely communicate any "important" items with me. So I was appreciative when staff called the day before to inform me that my vet still hadn't sent the vacc records. I felt supported in my belief that the kennel was making sure I had everything necessary for my pets' stay. In my last call with the kennel staff, we confirmed the vacc records were finally received and that both dogs were cleared and ready for the next day's drop-off. We arrived by 7 a.m. (during 6-10am dropoff window), as that 1st day was filled with travel & scheduled activities for our short trip. Everything seemed fine until she asked me for the required 'Negative Fecal Test Results'. WHAT?! I had never heard of this! A negative fecal test (done just prior to boarding) proves the dog has no internal parasites, but having never been informed, ours wasn't done. This error jeopardized our entire trip. I attempted to problem solve while the employee contacted the owner for assistance, but I was eventually told that the dogs could not stay without it. Feeling frustrated about this news, I left to spend most of our trips 1st day working to get the tests done. It would have been so simple to inform me about the required fecal tests in any of the many chats we had that week. I was making sure the required vaccines were done, I could have easily had the fecal tests also done. We lost a full day off the 3 day trip & when I picked them up at the scheduled date/time (I even called an hour prior), neither dog had been bathed. She said the dogs didn't want baths, and they weren't there long enough to get dirty anyway. 😞 Sadly, I was very displeased with the customer service this time.

Love this place for Arthur! Affordable, clean, and I sincerely appreciate that the owners are just next door. This is my preferred place for Arthur but they do get very busy and getting a reservation is sometimes a hit or miss so book early to get your spots! Overall, Arthur is safe and I appreciate that they bathe him before he leaves from his longer overnight stays :) I've referred friends here, and will continue to do so! Only thing to be careful is that the last time my arthur was here, he came home with some chipped teeth :( not sure what he got into, but I will be asking that they keep all hard toys away from him during his stays in the future...

I fully trust bringing my dogs here. They are so flexible with us and handle my 2 gigantic dogs and all their needs so well! My dogs come back happy and smelling clean (unlike others where they smell like “kennel”) Reasonably priced- rates increase during holidays which is to be expected. My guys have been featured a few times on their social; and I love the updates they’ve made to their facility!

At the moment I can't give Derspinna a true rating. I have been looking for a kennel to board my girl and so far this kennel looks to be better than others I've researched in the area . Day care looks like the dogs are treated very well.

Expensive compared to Indianapolis where we used to live (but it’s a limited industry here) and they take great care of our huge horse of a dog every time we travel. We feel confident leaving him with them and know he’s in good hands. I do wish they had free updates for families (texted photos or something) of the dog’s wellbeing during longer trips. It’d be nice to get a check in every few days without having to pay extra for that- even if it was just some group photos on their socials. (Our dog never seems to be in those!)

Our pups love coming to Derspinna Kennels for spa days (grooming sessions) and overnight stays while we are out of town. Derspinna's has become their home away from home. And we always know that our furry family members are well cared for.

Love this wonderful place! It's like a fancy country estate spa for your furry little friends!!! When we first boarded our two doggies, we fell in love with the Derspinna. It totally reminds me of the "Henderson Castle" but for pets. Lol Top notch service and care! We will be going back for sure!!!

First time using Derspinna Kennels and found the kennels very clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly caring. Our two black doodles were in great shape and blended into the routine schedule their just fine.

Our dog is a shelter dog who has a history of trauma, with severe separation anxiety which he is medicated for, and struggles in kennels. We were worried about finding a place to board him on short notice with his situation. We dropped him off, with his food, medications, added some extra nature walks and asked them 'if they could clip his nails, it would be great'. He is terrified of it, and we were worried he would need to be sedated for it to be done. We nervously went out of town hoping for the best. Upon coming to pick him up a week later, we have never seen him happier coming out of a kennel! He was excited, in great health and we could just tell how much fun he had at Derspinna. Playing with other dogs, and nature walks did him well! Not only that, but they also were able to get his nails cut! Absolutely amazing. We will always be taking our dog back here! Couldn't recommend them more.

Absolutely love camp Fido! The staff are wonderful and know all the dogs. They genuinely care about them and take good care of our boy Kenobi. He loves loves loves daycare days!

We love Camp Fido! We always trust them with our dog and it's her favorite place to go probably in the entire world! Whenever we say "you wanna go to camp?" she will jump up and start howling to go. They are very detail oriented and know the needs of each dog (ours is a mud eater and they always remember that so she doesn't eat mud like she has at other daycares). They give you daily report cards that we always look forward to getting. They are just the best and always keep our mind at ease that our dog is being taken care of!

We take our golden retriever Apollo here at least twice a month, if not more. He loves playing with the other dogs and with the employees. They always have fun activities lined up, and he always comes home exhausted; Exactly what we want! (I even got this horribly ugly picture of him on the way home once, enjoy). At this point, we have to be careful saying the word "camp" around him, as he'll immediately run to the door in excitement. It's very affordable as long as you don't try and treat it like a kennel. Thanks for being in the area, Camp Fido!

We finally joined Camp Fido last May after eagerly waiting for them to open more spaces for large dogs. Jess and her staff truly care about the dogs and their owners and they are more on top of things than any other doggie daycare we have visited in the area. They take the time to get to know the individual dogs and they are very communicative. Love it here!

Now that my pup knows this place exists, everywhere else is chopped liver 🙄 Camp Fido staff are wonderfully caring, and Jess has gone above and beyond answering questions to help this first-time dog owner feel comfortable. Apparently he even likes baths there - what the heck?! Attached is a representative photo of Owen completely SPENT after a day at CF 🥰 I could not recommend them enough!

My fur baby has been going to camp every day for the last year. We love Camp Fido! The owners and all the staff are great. There's plenty of room to romp, run and play. My pooch is pooped when he comes home lol. Clean facilities and great grooming services as well. I would highly recommend Camp Fido!

Camp Fido consistently puts their dogs first. If you're fortunate enough to get your dog their, you'll have expert care from people who actually care about your dogs. They have designed their enclosures to make sure your dog has a positive experience.

Camp Fido is a fantastic place for dogs! I take my Australian Shepherd (Aussie) regularly. In fact, I have to be careful when I say "Camp Fido" because she rushes to the door in excitement to go to "Camp." The staff is outstanding. The facility is clean and the dog wranglers treat my dog very lovingly. My Aussie comes home tired and content at the end of the day. Another fun thing is that I get a doggy report card with a name of a "best furry friend" for the day. It is worth every penny I pay to go. :)

This daycare has been a huge help for us. Our girl loves going on her days and is literally yipping with excitement when we turn in, then forgets about me and runs in when they answer the door. She comes back happy and tired from playing with her friends all day. They all are always so friendly and polite. Can’t thank them enough.

Shannon and the crew at Wiggles, Waggles, and Tails are amazing!!!!! Our dog, Stabler gets so excited to go and play with his friends. He has separation anxiety, but not there! He runs in the door and can’t wait to play with his friends. The staff take such great care of him, and it puts our minds at ease. We love Wiggles, Waggles, and Tails!! Best doggie daycare in town!!!!

I love this place and so do my puppies, Paisley & Patton. They get so excited when we pull into the parking lot in the morning, they can hardly contain themselves. They have so many doggie friends and the staff is always sending me the sweetest pictures of my babies. I can't say enough about the owner and her staff, I just love them. I know that when I drop them off, they are well cared for, loved, and most of all, having a fun-filled and happy day. So grateful to have them so close by as well. I highly recommend them to everyone!

Shannon and her staff are wonderful. They were very accommodating when I had to find daycare really fast after taking in a deceased family member's dog. Elvis is elderly and does not appreciate other dogs getting in his face. They went above and beyond to accommodate his needs and make sure he is happy when he is there. They are always super nice to Elvis. He has very bad separation anxiety, but he comes home from WWT happy as a clam. He does not have any drooling incidents while there either. Thank you Shannon and your staff for everything you do for Elvis.

I really do wish Google had a way to verify information prior to allowing just anyone to leave a review that directly affects a small business that works their hearts out to provide the best care possible. Primarily leaving this to respond to the 1 star review that wished she could leave a zero. Your review was not based on facts unfortunately, First, the date you boarded with WW&T was June of 2021 (not 2022), seems odd to me that this is just now coming up over 2 years after your experience? Second, In the records Camden was the name of the Yorkshire terrier you put on your paperwork (not Murphy). Third, Your call today was answered and when staff tried everything they could to answer your questions but could not due to you talking over the nice young man who answered the phone. Fourth, you commented that Camden’s bed was full of shards of particle board, WW&T doesn’t have particle board or anything similar that would leave shards of wood products in the bedding. The Owner would never under any circumstances place your belongings outside the door and refuse to speak with you or any of WW&T’s customers she values so much. When you called You refused to speak with the owner who sincerely wanted to address your concerns herself but couldn’t due to your request not to speak with her so she worked by the young man’s side to get information on your previous visit. The owner has in the past spent countless hours and many thousands of dollars on the WW&T family of four legged babies who attend daycare or board with us and has never asked for a penny of reimbursement outside the agreed upon rate. Some might say that’s the cost of doing business and that’s fine but it truly is more than just that. Inaccurate Reviews like this make her question if she has made the right decision to chase her dream of spending 60-70hrs a week with all the dogs she loves. There is no question in my mind or many of her loyal customers that she gives everything she has to her customers and we will encourage her to continue with her dream of serving the community she grew up in and cares for deeply, Thank you.

They are wonderful! Always super polite and take great care of our bulldog Louis. He always comes back happy. He has a great time there. Thanks sooo much for taking care of our boy.

We have had a good experience. My dog does not eat while there that well, but it’s because they just miss us and do this even while being watched by friends. Dogs get stressed any time they are away from their owners so take that into consideration when looking at the negative reviews. My dogs eat socks and toys so I am glad they are crated and safe when we are away. This time they came home smelling clean which was. A surprise 😂 they usually are muddy from playing

What a great way for the girls to spend the day with friends. This is all they can do when they get home. Shannon, Anna, and Lauren are awesome

We chose this boarder because they were close to home. After a few boardings it is clear they aren’t able to care for “intense” dogs. If your dog is not a high energy breed, then they will work for you. Long story short, 1st stay 9 nights our GSD came back with matted like hair on his rear legs no voice. 2nd stay 4 nights, he didn’t even want to go into the boarding area he immidiately turned around and sat at the exit wanting to leave. Same result of matted hair, no voice and we were told he is quite intense. So we went back to our original boarder. We were worried he would be traumatized from whatever went on at wiggles but he knew where he was and was super excited to be back at the old boarder. 3 nights at the original boarder and he comes back no matted hair and has his voice. Our lab never had an issue. Also ever time we stopped to pick up or drop off the dogs we’re always locked up behind a door and you couldn’t see any dogs inside the couch area or the outside play area.

We have used Gillette for many years and our dogs are well cared for. The staff is accommodating and friendly. Our current dog seems excited to be there and leaves us willingly. We were surprised when we picked him up this time that he desperately needed to relieve himself. He peed for over 60 seconds and deficated a large amount before he would get in the car. And, 3 more times that afternoon. I don't know if there was a staffing problem or if he chose to do this or it was just a fluke.

We enjoyed taking our large dog to Gillette Kennels when we travelled. The staff was caring and he came back exhausted each time.

Top notch, high standards. Always smells clean in the lobby, the kennels outside are very clean. The staff is friendly and love animals. They are safe when handling my girl. She gets excited when we pull in to drop her off. Kirk did some training with my dog when she was a puppy, as well. His techniques work well.

Our dog gets super excited whenever we drop him off here. The staff love animals and you can tell by the way they remember his name and are visibly excited to see him. Our putbull has had nothing but good experiences staying here. We find the pricing reasonable as well.

Everyone there is very professional and friendly. You can tell they really enjoy working there. The animals are in good, caring hands. Their facility is clean, even in the kennel area. Boarding school dogs are worked with love. It's very apparent the trainers are good at what they do. The owner, Kirk is extremely professional and knows how to effectively run the place.

Clean facility, courteous staff and our dogs appear enthusiastic when we drop them off. The kennel's and runs are an appropriate size for our medium to large dogs. The staff show a fondness for the dogs in their care.

If I could, I would give negative stars. The first thing to know is that unless you pay $6 per playtime (15 mins), they do not take the dogs out of their kennels AT ALL, which is absolutely horrific. They stay in a cage all day long. When I originally called to get information on a typical day, I was very misled about how the dogs are handled each day - I was told they have multiple playtimes for 15 mins at a time. No one ever told me that each time they are given time to play, you pay $6. So, upon picking him up, we were shocked to hear that we owed $100 more than we expected. We never actually formally requested the playtime; they just did it themselves -- we only called to see how he was doing and when we heard he was only let outside his kennel for a handful of minutes a day, I asked if he could have more time to play, and they agreed. Again, not knowing there was an ADDITIONAL cost. I would have never taken my dog to a place that is so inhumane to animals, where they are kept locked up all day long. If you love your dog, do NOT use this boarding facility.

Allie loves it there and they love having her. I knkw I have one less thing to worry about when Allie is there because I knkw she's in good hands.

After staying for just 1 weekend my dog fell sick. When I went to pick up the dog they had no clue when or if they had fed the dog. They almost never pick up the phone when you call. Don't punish your pet by sending here.

I would recommend boarding and training here. Staff is always friendly and takes the time to get to know your animals to make them feel comfortable. Facilities are always clean and cared for. Kirk Gillette is an amazing trainer and extremely knowledge about dogs. This is the only boarding and training place I will use or recommend to anyone. Thank you, Gillette Kennels!

Great place to not only use for doggy daycare, but they have a little pub and two different dog parks that you can pay to access.

We have our beautiful 9 year old Maltese boy go there twice a week. And it’s truly such a perfect fit for him. The team there is always so kind and responsive to our needs. We’ve been going for two years and have loved every interaction

This is such a wonderful place! My dog truly is excited to come and play and leaves tired and happy. The staff genuinely care about all of the dogs and I trust them to watch over Frankie while I'm at work.

We've been taking our mini-golden doodle to Fido for almost 11 years. She began at the Stadium Dr camp, but switched to The Knoll when it opened, so she could be with smaller dogs. The staff at both facilities have always been very nice, and they did a very good job handling COVID-19 protocols. I'm impressed by the value that we get for our money at Fido, and heartily recommend it to any dog owner in the Kalamazoo area.

Camp Fido is the best. Our dogs LOVE it there and come home exhausted after a day of play. The staff is friendly and loving, knowledgeable and well trained, and we fully trust them to take excellent care of our dogs.

I trust very few people to take care of our dog the way we do. Camp Fido is on that short list. Worth every penny for the trained wranglers, safe social dog interaction and great time he has!

My dog loves this daycare so much! The staff are great and they treat my dog with great care. He always comes home so tired from playing all day. Highly recommend.
