Toby and Chloe were amazing pet sitters. It wasn’t the easiest sit - a nervous dog and 3 cats with various ailments and medication to have, but they took it all in their stride and cared for them so well without any issues. Our nervous dog Zelda warmed to them in just 2 days which is a record for house sitters so far! I also really enjoyed getting to know them over dinner the night before I left, they’re very easygoing and positive people. They also left the house spotless for when I came back. I would love to have them sit for us again. You can rest assured your house and animals are in safe hands with this lovely pair!

Carole and Ron are excellent cat-sitters! They took very good care of my cat Lola and of my house. I came home to a happy cat and a very clean and tidy house. I never met Joi because due to her work, she arrived after I left and was gone before I returned home. This wasn't a problem at all. She was very self-sufficient and seemed to find all that she needed in my house. The house looked exactly like I left it and my cat seemed very content when I returned. Apparently they had a nightly routine of Luna getting brushed. Joi is a very experienced sitter and it shows.

Susan and Miranda are amazing! I've had the pleasure of working with many sitters and they are truly exceptional. They were great at keeping in touch, sent lots of updates, asked good questions, really bonded with the cats, clearly very experienced working with animals and understanding their needs, and generally lovely to deal with. They were really patient putting up with a whole bunch of deliveries and even assembled a spare bed! They also left the place spotless with clean sheets on the bed. I'm pretty sure the cats loved Susan and Miranda more than us by the end of their stay! I'd highly recommend them to anyone and would love to have them stay again any time.

Lindsey was super communicative, friendly, responsible, and an excellent sitter for our two cats. When we returned, our home was clean and our cats relaxed and happy as if we had never left ! She sent us photos and updates every day, as requested, and when a random mishap occurred in the apartment, she let us know right away and was proactive in handling issue. Someone was smiling down on us when Kevin and Mary clicked on our very first House Sitter advert. They are straightforward, pleasant, reliable and fun. They kept in touch about their own plans when their flights were delayed. They tactfully left the house when our own cancelled flights meant we were staying a few hours longer than first planned. They sent just the right amount of photos, videos and texts of our cat while we were away! We all loved that. And on our return, oh my word, the house fairies had been to visit! They somehow managed to walk the perfect line between improving everything, without interfering at all. Clean, tidy, replenished. They asked what food we’d like on our return and boy did they deliver! Home made bean stew :-) and different things for the children. Really kind and generous. Communication was clear and also witty..! They dealt with the churn of small mammals our “somewhat independent” cat brought through the flap without complaint. They are a really nice couple, exuding a lovely American warmth and charm. It was a real pleasure, Kevin and Mary, thank you.

Paige, David, and family were WONDERFUL sitters for my crew! They were so pleasant and personable, and the pets warmed up to them very quickly. Even my rescue cat who tends to stray away from men loved David. I received regular updates and communication (before and during the sit). I truly did not have any concerns while I was away knowing that everyone had such great care and attention given to them. (I know the dogs had a good time because when I came home there was no commotion over my return.) I was away on NYE and Paige had no issues keeping an eye on one of the dogs who has anxiety surrounding loud noises. The family cleaned up after themselves and may have left the house cleaner than when I left! Truly such a great family who I would welcome back any time!

Lindsey watched our cat and dog for a long weekend when we went out of town. She was a very communicative sitter sending frequent pictures and voice notes with updates. She did a great job of following their schedules and giving them attention. The animals seemed to be happy and relaxed when we returned home and I believe Lindsey enjoyed getting to discover all of the eateries our town has to offer. A win-win for everyone!

Chris was a fantastic cat sitter for our elderly and high maintenance kitty. Chris was the perfect combination of responsible and on top of her medication needs while also being calm and relaxed about her picky eating habits and the need to monitor her food and medication consumption. He was prompt, easy to get a hold of, responsible, and overall, a great sitter. I would definitely recommend him and most certainly hope to have him stay with her again.

I can’t thank the staff enough for how amazing they were. My two Omen & Nugget had a really great time out at the kennels. The staff were always so kind to my two girls. Really made a difference knowing they were somewhere safe, while I got proper accommodation.
We are always grateful for the care that is shown to our collie Coco. She is a rescue dog and Brian is always able to put her at her ease and it is clear she thoroughly enjoys her annual trip to Galway. Such is our peace of mind knowing she is well cared for we drive from Dublin to Ardrahan with Coco each summer.
Amazing Kennels, I leave my loon Luna (a very busy collie) 😂 at Galway Kennels each year for the last 3 years since she has been a puppy and she just loves the place. I know she is well looked after each time she stays and I can leave her in confidence that she will be happy and have lots of furry friends to play with while she is there. Would definitely recommend.
We were away for a few days and our pet Jessie, absolutely seemed to have a wonderful time. When we arrived there she really looked to be having fun with the other dogs. Can’t recommend Galway kennels enough. Our dog gets so excited when she knows she arrives there. Brian and the young lady I dealt with were most accommodating. Brian is very knowledgeable about dogs in general and their behaviour and I feel entirely comfortable leaving our pet in their care and will always do so.
Great kennels. Brian was able to tell us all about our dog's characteristics which goes to show he spent proper time to getting to know and taking care of him. He got well socialized with other suitable dogs. Can't fault it and would definitely recommend. This was my first time using kennels and I think it's actually more of a holiday for the dog then us! Haha he loved it!
Our *boisterous* 9 month old male Labrador stayed here for 2 weeks and had the time of his life. The set up and layout is excellent with focus not just on security and hygiene but also on keeping the dogs happy. Brian wasn’t remotely fazed by our high energy pup and I cannot recommend Galway Kennels highly enough.
Galway Kennels is our 'go-to' kennels for boarding our two dogs. They absolutely love it and get super excited when we pull up. We have no doubts about how well they are taken care of, and how much they love to be there - we sometimes struggle to get them back into the car to leave! I have never seen another kennels with such a nice set up, with cosy kennels (including doubles so our boys get to stay together) that do not feel like cages, and a range of outdoor spaces for the doggos to play. Highly recommend.
I called in to see the kennels before I booked the dogs in. I was very impressed. The kennels themselves are warm (with 2 lit stoves as it was November) and welcoming and scrupulously clean. Well laid out with plenty of space and couches around for the dogs to make themselves at home on. And they do. We booked our 3 dogs in for 10 days and from when I arrived with them they made themselves at home. Comfy beds waiting for them in the spacious enclosure. They get great exercise in the doggie play areas also. Brian is an absolute gent who is great with the dogs. I felt they were in good hands all the time I was away. When I came to collect the dogs were in great form. I will definitely book them in again. A home from home for my dogs. They may find home boring after their stay at Galway Kennels which really is more like a dog hotel. Thanks so much for looking after Bowie, Ramsey and Clem so well 😊

Been using woofs and wags for 9 yrs, Always a pleasure leaving our dog Jack with Ann Marie and liam. Nothing is ever a problem for them. Jack always comes back happy. Can't recommend them highly enough
Our 6 year old black labrador stayed for 12 nights and he was Very well looked after. To know that he was well cared for in a safe and clean environment, allowed us to enjoy our holidays.
Facilities as kennels go are good, however, after calling to collect our dog, albeit, outside of 'after 2 and before 4 ' I was told at the door by a teenager that she was not in charge of the facility and that her father was away ' in town'. I'd be very surprised if there was only 1 set if keys.... I then had to pay the additional fee for going in to the second day, which to honest didn't bother me in the least , what annoyed me most I had to drive home 20 miles to oranmore , wait 2 hours and then come .... Hence the 1 star.

I recommend PawTastiCare 100% as Joicy took care of Mia with so much love, affection, took her for walks and played a lot with our little baby. I think Mia got better treatment than in my own place so now I have to keep the same standard as she got very used with Joicy's care. PawTastiCare has also some very cute products for dogs such as this beautiful necklace and nice treats. If you need a dog sitter, please go for it.
It was so great to find another dog lover who could look after my dog who had never been left with a professional sitter before. She was treated like a queen and got to be a taste tester for yummy homemade treats, her fav job! Tammy had a great time and even though I did worry she may cry being away from me she had a ball and was safe and cosy in a home environment which was priority for me when searching.
Joicy was amazing at looking after Arlo, as he is an anxious pup and not the easiest to mind. She sent me daily updates which put me at ease and is very understanding of any additional needs or specific requests( a fussy needy pup). Nothing was too much for her. I cannot recommend Joicy enough. She always caters to my dog's individual needs, and transforms each stay into a holiday for her. The depth of their bond is evident as my dog genuinely cries on departures. Joicy will even sometimes wash and blow dry her before we pick her up!! I cannot recommend Joicy enough. Joicy looked after our very needy pug Eric for a week and treated him like we would.
