We've just picked up our dog after an extended trip from this kennel and I cannot be more pleased. I was nervous because it was our first time taking him here, but the staff were kind and assuring answering all of my questions. Our dog came home happy and relaxed with a good report. We are thankful to have found a trustworthy and exceptional kennel so close to home.

We are so happy we found this dog care place. My dogs had a great time. They came home dresses and ready to party. Love that they have extra amenities. I feel like they treated my dogs like family. We will be using them for our dog sitting needs from now on!

Wonderful place for our dogs! We have 2 big dogs and it's never been a problem. I like that they can be together during their stay. The staff is always amazing and we know that the dogs are being cared for and loved! It's always a relief to bring our dogs over there knowing that they are in good hands. Bronco is usually anxious and he has never showed any signs either before or after! Thank you :)

This was our first time using this kennel. It went well, and our dog came home healthy. Those are the most important things. The cost was reasonable. There are limited times for drop-off and pickup, so we did an extra day before and after our trip, but that was okay. Our dog was nervous and began drooling excessively, which I did not expect.

GOOD people running this company. The kennel sits on the property that their house is on. Locally owned and operated. I got the feeling that they've been doing this a long time. Our dog seemed to enjoy the overnight stay.

Our experience has been great. This family-owned business takes time to get to know owner and pet and provides a wide array of services. More importantly our dog loves the place!

I started using CB&B nearly two years ago and this place is GREAT! I don't take boarding my four legged lovers lightly and spent many many hours researching Richmond area boarding facilities, their reviews on multiple sites, and their business websites - I felt most comfortable with this business and boy am I glad I did! We are always received wonderfully, my dogs are always happy when I pick them. They are always incredibly healthy (both physically and mentally) when they are dropped off and upon return. Upon my older dog's spa day, they sent me the most amazing pictures of him completely relaxed and clearly feeling pampered! You can tell they love animals (one occasion I picked them up and there was a bark-mitzvah happening for one of the boarded dogs!). They are always friendly and accommodating... For me, it is worth the 40 minute drive to know that my babies are being so well taken care of; I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else in the Richmond area. If you are looking for a place to entrust your pets with, hands down 100% go with Countryside Bed & Biscuit. I can't sing their praises enough!

What a wonderful place to board our dogs! The people are so kind, and obviously love taking care of our four-legged family members. We like to get the dogs nails clipped on the last day before we pick them up and they always do a great job. It's so cute how they send them home with a little doggie bag of treats! They have great options for playtime, nature walks and human interaction while you're away from your pets. Reasonably priced and nice facility. Highly recommend.

We took our two Huskies to stay Thurs thru Sunday. They were kenneled together and had extra playtime each day. When we picked them up they were freshly bathed and very healthy and happy! We will go back to Acres of Fun again— a wonderful place with very caring and attentive personnel.

I picked up my two labradoodle babies after a 2 night stay this weekend. It was my first time being at the kennel and my initial observation was how clean and well maintained the facility and grounds surrounding it are. The folks at the front were friendly and efficient. The thing that REALLY gets me is we how good my pups smellled when we got in the car! Every other kennel we’ve been to has them soooooo smelly when they leave. We generally do baths but didn’t this time since I already have them scheduled for grooming this week. I’m so greatful for a clean and safe kennel to watch over our fur babies when we’re away!

Love, love, love this place for my two puppies! From the first time I visited, I was immediately impressed by the clean and well maintained facilities, inside and out. I was able to tour all of the facilities to see where my pups would stay. The owners (small family owned business)and staff are welcoming and friendly and I feel have truly gotten to know my dogs through playtime. I use them regularly for daycare and boarding and can not recommend them enough!

They took great care of our girly. She came home bathed and happy!

I have two rescue dogs that are terrified of everything. When we had to find a new kennel for them, I did my homework and visited many places. Acres of Fun facilities far surpassed any other kennel I toured; the spacious runs, the cleanliness, and the campus were top notch. However, what impressed me the most was care the family showed in understanding the particular needs of my dogs. We started slowly with day trips and then moved on to overnights... now, the same dogs that were shaking in the car on the way, jump and run into Acres of Fun. Christine and Preston and their whole family make them feel so at ease and loved. The staff knows my dogs personally and you can tell they are happy to see them. It is such a nice feeling to know I can travel for work or vacation and have peace of mind that my dogs are safe and cared for. At home, we call it "going to camp", but it's more like resort glamping with the service they are getting with Acres of Fun!

I've sent my dogs and cats here, and honestly love it. The cats have a lot of space to climb and play compared to other kennels, and get lots of love from the staff. The staff really love animals, and will often spend more time with your pets than you pay for. They have pretty good size runs, and give your animals lots of time outside. Would especially recommend it for cats, as they get much more space than usual.

8+ year long customer, no more. I feel our loyalty to this place has been abused. We have been coming for years, never felt the need to ask for an itemized receipt because they had always been fair with us. Even as prices on everything had been going up we understood but today was the straw the broke the camel's back. After our charges sounded suspiciously high for a short 3 night stay, I asked to see the break down. We were charged to give our dog CBD treats (why are they any different from regular treats that are given for free? Its not a prescription.). We were also charge $95 to gives our two dogs a bath. This is a charge that used to be minimal and is now the cost of a full grooming but all they do it wash the dogs, they dont even get brushed let alone any of the other things you pay a groomer the same amount for. Just very let down.

I love Acres of Fun Kennel. The whole area is beautiful. So much room for our fur babies to play. When I first drove up I saw an associate out playing ball with another. I picked up my moms fur baby today and he looks great. They gave him a bath and he smelled so good. I don’t trust anyone else with my fur babies. They are like my children and Acres of Fun Kennel is like family. Highly recommended!! Good people!! 🤗

Our German shepherd has stayed in many kennels when we travel. This is the first kennel that he is happy to go to and does not act depressed when we bring him home. They take very good care of the dogs and we have been happy with the bathing services as well. Highly recommended!

Marla was wonderful! We were nervous about leaving our fur babies but she was great. We received daily messages and pictures to let us know how they were doing. Marla spent time with our pets and gave them love and attention to put them at ease. We highly recommend her. We are ready to book All for Cobalt again in a few weeks!

I cannot say enough good things about All For Cobalt! Marla is THE best! Traveling for a living can be difficult at times, and having a nervous dog can make it challenging to find the right person to provide care. From the moment Marla came over for the meet & greet, she somehow calmed my timid dog with just her presence. For the first time in 7 years, my dog felt comfortable approaching a stranger within minutes and she quickly fell in love with Marla! I’ve never met another pet caregiver with such a special gift than Marla, she treated my dog as if she were her own. Marla spent time getting to know me and my dog, she was pleasant, professional, trustworthy, and made my dog feel comfortable in a new surrounding. If you’re looking for the best of the best, look no further, Marla is the “top dog” and “leader of the pack” when it comes pet caregivers. I really cannot say enough good things about her, and wish she could travel with us!

Marla made sure to provide regular updates and, importantly, someone to engage with and play for our two cats. She did awesome in making sure our two cats were happy and healthy. The best and most reliable pet sitter we've ever worked with! Marla has watched our 5 cats a few times now. We always come home to find them and our house in great shape. Her prices are very reasonable, and she spends lots of time with them during her visits and goes above and beyond sending us daily updates which we personally love. Marla takes the stress out of leaving our cats when we go away and I cannot recommend All for Cobalt enough!

We can’t recomend All For Cobalt highly enough! I was nervous about traveling but when we met I knew my 4 cats were in great hands. I could tell right away that Marla loved animals, was extremly experienced, and super detailed. She took notes on each kitty and there were backup plans to the backup plans. Marla sends daily updates and it was awesome to watch the shyest cats slowly fall in love with her through daily updates! I would give a 100 out of 5 stars if I could - it’s such a relief when your away that someone who genunily cares and has a ton of experience is coming by to spoil your little munchkins.

Marla is fantastic!!! All for Cobalt was recommended to me when we were trying to figure out what to do with our kitty, Billy, while on vacation this year. I had been completely stressed thinking I was going to have to drive home several times during the week to check on him. Let me just say, Marla is the best!! She visited Billy 4 times while we were gone, made sure he was fed, had water and cleaned his box. On top of that she stayed for about 45 mins, brought him toys and catnip, AND he loved her! Billy doesn’t like people; however we got pictures and videos of him not only on his own but him right there with Marla allowing her to pet him, play with him and brush him!! I am beyond pleased and will never have anyone else come to care for him! I highly recommend Marla with All for Cobalt!

I highly recommend All for Cobalt pet care! Can't say enough good things about the care provided to our older chihuahuas, one of which requires medication and a special diet. Marla took the time to get to know them, their routine, and us prior to pet sitting. Our dogs almost immediately took to her. She provided regular updates and pictures so that we had piece of mind regarding how the dogs were doing. You can tell she really cares about animals and treated our fur babies like family!

Powhatan Paws is a great place to leave your dog. Or you can hire them to come and walk your dog or do check in visits while you're at work or away. They walk my dog five days a week while i'm at work.And my dog loves them.

Wow, this place is amazing! I am a dog groomer and had the opportunity to stay at this place and experience what was going on. I am traveling a lot and saw a lot . I have been in a pet business for over 25 years . The dogs are super happy here . They are running around , playing, and having fun all day long with both 2-legged and 4-legged frieds. Everyone who is around the dogs is super friendly, patient, and loving. If you need boarding , pet sitting, etc, while you are on vacation , business trip, or simple you just need a place where they look after your furry friends , look no further ! This is the place! This awesome family is responsible and really takes care of your pets. I highly recommend it! This place is like a real retreat for pups :) I am impressed!

Audrey was awesome! She cared for all of our animals while we were out of town and went the extra mile to walk them, give meds, and even kept us up to date with photos. She’s a huge animal lover and that really showed in the time and care she gave our furbabies.

Daily pictures and updates, in-home care (not a kennel run) and outdoor time with a splash pad and total supervision. My old dog loves it and will definitely be back. 5 stars is not enough!
