Sofia and Nicole were excellent sitters to our 2 playful cats (an adult tabby and a BIG Maine coon kitten). They gave us a couple updates daily with pictures, as we requested. They were easy to communicate with before and throughout the entire sit. When we came home, our apartment was tidy (probably neater than we left it!) and our cats were relaxed and happy. They were also kind enough to leave us with some sweet bandanas for our boys. We were super pleased with the quality of care, and would happily recommend Sofia and Nicole to anyone in need of a pet or house sitter!
Florence and Robert were outstanding sitters. We asked them to arrive a day early as our guests to learn the routine on our farm. In getting to know them we found them to be good hearted, down to earth people with a love of animals and diligent in learning our routines to care for our poultry, cats and dog as well as our garden and orchard. Not a typical or easy sit. We travelled with ease knowing our critters were being well taken care of. Arriving home, the house was very clean and looked well cared for. The animals were healthy as were the garden and orchard. Out pets missed them when they left – our dog stared down the driveway after them until their car was out of sight. It is nice to find sitters we would like to hang out with and we look forward to having them sit for us again.
. We were absolutely delighted with the care Summer provided for our cats. Without a doubt, she is the best cat sitter we have ever had the pleasure of working with. Her attentiveness and genuine affection for our cats were evident in every interaction. Throughout our holidays, she kept us constantly updated with daily pictures and detailed updates, which gave us immense peace of mind. Additionally, she maintained our house in immaculate condition, keeping everything clean and tidy. This level of consideration and dedication went above and beyond our expectations, and we deeply appreciated her efforts. Summer’s exceptional service made our holiday experience truly worry-free and enjoyable.
Our review is written by Steven (house owner, host + my father) + also by Kim (the daughter). Written by Kim: This was our first house sit since the passing of my mother in late Dec 2023. I was helping my father Steven (whose profile it is) manage all the emails + try + find a great house sitter + came along Gretchen’s profile! Not only is she a cool cat + someone you might want to get to know, I found myself quickly talking to her. I shortly found out her profile is just a glimpse of how interesting she is but talking to her was so much better! She is a world traveler with many experiences + stories to share. We quickly became conversationalists who could talk forever + probably will continue to do so! Thank you TH! She is easy to communicate with + continued the consistent communication all along our journey of having her as our *first* guest after my mom’s passing. It was clearly a time filled with anxiety + sensitivity so there were some sensitive topics to go over + Gretchen got it right away. A few of our rooms in the house were off-limits (as they housed my mom’s things) but we reassured her the house has ample space for her to enjoy + there are many lovely outdoor spaces to boot! When she arrived she felt she was in paradise + really relished in the outdoor beauty + the indoor coziness. We were happy to share it with someone who appreciated it so much! She also was very understanding with the fact that both my dad + I would both be involved as we both handled different parts of the stay. Me, writing + setting up the Welcome Guide + would go over the situation but then upon her arrival my dad would take over + answer any questions mostly during her sit. The good part of having 2 people is she had accessibility to us both, in the case she needed it + sometimes it came up! She juggled all the communication oh so well. My mom usually handled most of the logistics so this being our first time we were nervous something would come up we might not know but it didn’t! It was new territory for us + we wanted to make sure she had everything. Gretchen handled it all with such ease, seamlessly, really respecting our wishes/desires + taking all the information into her hands + making it seem easy on her end to do so. She was easy to coordinate schedules with! There was a gap in her 1st + 2nd sit but everything went seamlessly even when my flight had a day long delay. She was able to coordinate schedules with me arriving in between, then leaving, my dad arriving different days + us extending the trip too. It all worked out! We were all a good team! She absolutely loved our older cat, Benny + he fast + furiously fell in love with her oh so easily. When I saw him, he looked oh so loved + after saying hi to me went over to ‘her’ bed + slept there waiting for her to come back. She sent many pictures, videos + even cute creations + toys she made for our Benny + it was obvious the house + our Benny were her first priority. She even asked us if she could help prune our flowers/shrubs, something my mom used to do + honestly it was an honor to hear her ask that. She was welcome to set up her art studio + play away. She was very communicative when our house cleaner, landscape gardener + house manager showered up for different reasons. When I arrived back for a short stint before she came back the 2nd time our mail was so well organized it was an assembly line! She also offered to take down our xmas tree (as we were a bit behind in taking down our xmas decorations) + she was sensitive to the fact that we were adjusting to a new normal. Thank you so much Gretchen! You made our first sit in a long time so seamless + such a relief that we are ready now to host again. We only wish we could have more Gretchen’s! (She’s also a super talented artist!) Written by Steven: Overall, Gretchen has been an absolute treasure. She has fulfilled our goals for a house sitter perfectly - she took good care of the house, great care of our treasured pet, Mr. Benny + took care of the grounds such as watering a few plants + trees. She excelled in all the above + is welcome back anytime I will be out of town in the future.
Chris and Julia were our very first sitters and are the most perfect house/pet sitters anyone would ever want!!! Julia sent video/pictures of our fur babies everyday and we noticed early on that our animals were very relaxed and happy!! This made our trip so enjoyable and stress free knowing that our animals were safe and being spoiled and loved the whole time. They even trained our dog to sit while her leash was being attached and was able to pet and hold our cat that is somewhat nervous around strange people he doesn't know. When I got back from the trip, the house was very clean along with Julia/Chris had washed the bed sheets, bath towels, vacuumed, dusted etc., and even washed the pet bedding. They also left some SE Asia treats for us to try which so sweet of them. Definitely the perfect house sitters!!!
Kerry and Megan were wonderful sitters and took great care of our two cats while we were on vacation for two weeks. They were responsive, gave us regular updates, and seemed to really care about Tumba and Cappa. When Tumba was more timid toward the beginning of our trip and not eating her meals fully, Kerry was sure to ask for additional suggestions from us on how to coax her to eat more. Kerry and Megan also left the house just as we'd left it for them. We really appreciated them going the extra mile to ask about additional cleaning products so they could clean our bathrooms. It felt great to come home and just relax without needing to remake the bed. Thanks for everything, Kerry and Megan! We would certainly entrust our home and kitties to you again in the future.
Stefany helped me out big time by stepping in when I asked. She's a local sitter and I wasnt' having any responses so I contacted her and she fit me into her schedule even during the holidays and right after another sit across the country. She took great care of my two cats and home and I very much appreciate it!
After seeing the numerous positive reviews, I knew Cung would be an easygoing and professional cat sitter and house guest, and he was :-) Easy communication, prompt updates and clear concern for Boz & Artie's wellbeing, and pictures of cozying up on the couch together all made our time away secure and stress free. Upon returning home, the cats were chill and the apt was left spotless, as though he hadn't even been there.
If you are looking for someone to take care of your fur babies and your house while you're away, Daniel is your guy! I had discovered zeewoi just a couple of weeks before I was to leave on vacation and I was not only apprehensive if the website was too good to be true, but also under a real time crunch. I reached out to over 100 local sitters and several possibilities fell through. I was confident I would find the right sitter and when Daniel applied for the sit and I started to text and converse with him, I knew I had found the perfect sitter for my two cats! Daniel was upbeat and positive, articulate and personable, warm and caring, and he asked all the right questions about Lilly and Eli (I hadn't had the time to complete my Welcome Guide, yet!?!). I shared that I had an easy cat and problem cat -- Lilly, who is sweet, social and eats dry food, and Eli who is skittish, was periodically pooping outside the kitty litter box and was eating prescription canned food twice a day mixed with a probiotic and stool firmer. I asked if he thought he was up for the job and he happily said he was. Since he flew all the was from Chicago, I thought the least my husband and I could do was pick him up at the airport. When he arrived, he pulled out his notebook. He patiently walked with me as I reviewed kitty care, showed him around the house, and where he would be sleeping. He immediately picked up Lilly who was excited about meeting her new friend and Eli bugged out and down the stairs to the basement (his favorite hiding place!). We got Daniel connected to the internet, set him up at our dining room table and headed off to airport, leaving our house and kitties in the best of hands. Daniel wanted to make sure I felt comfortable and assured while we were away. He made sure to text with me every other day (he had asked my preference earlier), sent photos of Lilly being her cute self while Eli hid during the day although he gave me assurances that he was eating his food and using the litter box (there were a few accidents, but Daniel never complained about these additional duties). When we returned from our vacation, the house was also spotless and well cared for and Daniel had even washed the sheets for me! It is with utter happiness and complete confidence that I recommend Daniel as a fantastic Sitter. He is trustworthy, responsible, caring, and competent, and you can rest assured that both your house and sweet pets will be watched over and treated with TLC -- and will truly be in the best of hands while you are away!
Danny and Jo did a great job caring for our 3 cats and fish AND lots of plants (and home of course) while we were out of town for 3 weeks. We came back to a very clean house, sheets, and towels all clean and folded and fresh sheets on the bed they were using. The plants were all alive too, which is a first for us (again, we have a lot of plants!). The cats were happy to see us and they were all accounted for (a past sitter lost a cat for a week - they escaped outside as a non-outside cat). Everything was in its place and looked great. We received regular updates (via text) with photos of the cats lounging about which was important for us. Danny asked good questions when they visited us before the sit, and when reviewing our pet/house sitting instructions. The only thing we noticed that was different was that our 2 young cats were a little lighter (not necessarily a bad thing) but we understand that being gone for that length of time can be stressful on our furry family, which almost always affects their eating habits. All in all, we would definitely have them again!
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?
Veterinarians advising to leave cats at home with a pet sitter who will stay overnight in your home, boarding is not recommended for cats as they are stressed in a new environment, you can find a sitter who will care for your cats and home overnight at Sittsy.

Caleb has been such an incredible and personable walker. We feel super lucky to have found him and his service! He’s responsive, very friendly, and clearly goes above and beyond for our dog, Wolfie, who loves his walks. We always get great photos from walks too (like the fun portrait below). I would recommend him without hesitation!
Been with Critters for two months now and my babies and I couldn’t be happier. Aaron has been walking my two greyhounds three times a week and he really treats them with as much care and love as I would. I get photos everyday and text updates along the way. Even when June had an injury, Aaron went above and beyond to help carry her down the stairs and be mindful to take her back before my other dog. I can’t recommend critters enough, truly the sweetest humans who are dog people through and through.
Cass and Caleb are fantastic!! My pup is very anxious and they have been so patient and so sweet with him. They treat him so well and I know he feels comfortable and safe with them. Cass and Caleb are incredibly organized and reliable, and make it very easy schedule walks. They also take (the best!) photos of my pup every day, and it’s so nice to get their updates from every walk. 12/10 definitely recommend!!
Caleb & Cassie are phenomenal!! They are wonderful with our dog, Arnold, who is large, in charge, and often a very excitable walker. They're extremely reliable and trustworthy; not once have I worried about Arnold when he's with either of them. They also take the cutest photos and share fun anecdotes of their walks. Most importantly, I can tell how much Arnold loves and trusts them -- he's quick to jump all over them in greeting! Highly recommend Caleb & Cassie, from an overprotective dog parent!
Meeting Caleb & Cassie is the best thing that’s happened in my life and in my dogs lives. He’s reliable, trustworthy, and great with my big dogs. They can be a lot of work, but I feel comfortable that Caleb keeps them safe, and handles and cares for them very well. He takes pictures every time, so it’s a comforting reminder to know my dogs are getting exercised and happy while I work all day. 11/10 recommend this company.
We recently discovered Critters Dog Co. and had the pleasure of hiring Caleb for daily visits and dog walks over the holidays. From the initial contact to the meet and greet, Caleb's responsiveness and genuine care were evident. Luna, our typically anxious dog, connected with Caleb instantly. During our trip, Caleb went above and beyond by not only providing Luna with three daily walks/visits, but also keeping a watchful eye on our home during the holidays. His reliability, dependability, and evident love for dogs made every interaction a positive experience. Caleb's calming presence had a noticeable impact on Luna, who quickly saw him as a trustworthy friend. Even when a minor issue arose while we were away, Caleb stepped up, took charge, and handled the situation with professionalism and expertise. His prompt and effective response not only resolved the issue but also left us feeling completely at ease. Throughout our time away, Caleb kept us well-informed, sending adorable pictures that showcased the evident joy Luna felt in his care. We genuinely appreciated his dedication to our dog. We wholeheartedly recommend Caleb for his outstanding care, reliability, and genuine love for dogs. Already having our next visit booked, we can't express our recommendation enough.
Our dogs love taking their walks with Caleb. He’s always on time, extremely professional, keeps them very safe, and has the greatest energy which they love! I highly recommend Critters Dog Company!
Cassie and Caleb are the best! They take such good care of our dog Penny - always on schedule and give us great updates and photos. Penny is always excited to see them and we are always confident that she's in good hands, whether taking walks around our neighborhood, going on hikes or giving her medicine. I highly recommend them to take care of your pup!
Caleb has been an amazing dog walker for my two dogs! He is always reliable and goes out of his way to make himself available. I can’t recommend him enough!
Kathleen from Critters is the best dog walker I’ve ever had. We all want someone to love our dog the way we do, and she brings that along with punctuality, dependability and a great personality! Our little Rose loves her and we are so grateful to have her. We recommend Critters Dog Co above and beyond all others we have ever used!
The best bird sitter in LA! Sends daily updates of your bird and accommodates for their needs. Not only is the care exceptional but it is also enriching. My cockatiel loves to be around a flock while I’m away and always looks forward to a stay at L’s!
This review is Long overdue! Elle provided a wonderful bird "staycation" for our family cockatiel, Pancho. If you are a bird owner, you know how hard it can be to entrust your feathered loved one to the care of anyone, even friends and family. The are so many hazards to birds in the average household- scented cleaning products and sprays, cookware, candles, scented plug-ins, drafts, cats...kids- it is basically asking someone to make a lifestyle change just to watch your bird. With Elle being such a dedicated and educated bird owner, we knew Pancho was in caring, loving, and safe hands. Pancho can be feisty, vocal, demanding, neurotic, and aggressive when he's "on one" as he is a generally high-strung male cockatiel. He can also be very sweet and affectionate... when he wants to. Elle was able to work with us in understanding and navigating around Pancho's needs and quirks. We received daily updates with photos and videos with him enjoying himself with his new feathered friends. We were a little worried that Pancho would not adjust well to a different environment and being away from us, and partially expected to get a plucked bird back (he is a plucker when stressed), but he had all his feathers and was a chirpy, happy little guy. He even got a parting gift from Elle! I would definitely recommend LA Bird Sitting by Elle to anyone who wants to ensure their bird is being cared for by someone who knows and loves birds!
L is a wonderful bird sitter — kind, knowledgeable and communicative. She even sends you pictures of your bird via text, while you’re away. I really appreciated this, as it was my bird’s (Patrice) first time going to a board and care. Patrice also made some great friends. I will definitely be going back to L in the future! Thanks L!
Baby (my Sun Conure) was very clearly well-taken care of during her stay with Elle. Before finding Elle, I always worried about leaving Baby behind and refused to go on any vacations or leaving the house for over 2 days. The difference this time was that I needed to return to my childhood home located out of the country to see family that I have not seen for over a decade, and I unfortunately could not leave Baby with a friend after seeing their living situation (no offense to them, it just sadly wasn’t bird-safe) As most bird-owners would know, it is significantly more difficult to find a suitable sitter, as most people don’t know how to care for them, and may own cats and/or dogs and there is a significant risk of accidents happening such as losing the bird if it is fully flighted, teflon fumes from cooking/baking, etc. I will certainly be coming back for Elle’s services on my next vacations! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!
My 15 months old conure had an amazing week there and received so much love. Elle and her family were the best I could ask to watch my bird while I was gone for a week. Daily updates and pics made this experience completely stress free for me. Super experienced and available to answer my questions. We can’t wait to go back!
I travel a lot for work and I’ve struggled to find a convenient, quality place in LA to board my bird while I’m away….but no longer!! I am SO GLAD I found Elle’s bird sitting!!! I was driving all the way out to Omar’s (1.5hrs each way) every time I needed to board my Green Cheek Conure…it was really exhausting! Plus, with the recent break-ins I didn’t feel safe leaving him there anymore, and no shade on Omar’s, but I wanted someplace with more involved and personalized care. I am SO HAPPY I found Elle’s! It’s so convenient- right on the way to the airport so I can drop off and pick up my boy without any extra effort and Elle and Kyle are just the kindest, most wonderful people! From the moment I met them, I felt truly comfortable and at home leaving my feathered child in their care. As a bird person, you can instantly tell other bird people, and since they have pet birds of their own, I felt totally comfortable and trusting leaving my bird with them! They were just wonderful, sent me photos every day of my bird, with the most adorable captions, went out of their way to make sure he was not only cared for, but LOVED while I was away! And not only that - they cleaned his cage and stayed up super late so I could grab my boy on the way home from the airport after a late evening flight. To top it all off - they gave my bird a good bye gift with the sweetest handwritten note….I mean truly, if you’re a bird owner looking for bird boarding in LA or anywhere in the Los Angeles area, this is the place to go! Hands down, no question! Top notch care and love with daily updates while you’re on the road…I am just so happy I found this place!! My bird will never board anywhere else so long as Elle’s boarding is around. Highly recommended 11/10!! My feathered son is super shy and is usually pretty upset when I pick him up from being boarded anywhere…but not with Elle! He was just so happy and comfortable when I came to pick him up tonight, I can tell he’s been so loved and cherished and cared for - and that means the world to me. I know it’s cheesy but he’s my world and I cannot thank Elle enough for being such a good caregiver for him while I was away! Thank you and we will be back soon!
Elle took the best care of my sweet Peaches. I could feel reassured knowing my baby was in the care of someone who knows and loves birds, and I wasn’t worried about her well being at all when I was away. Im so happy Peaches got so much socialization in a safe place. Elle provided such a thoughtful and invaluable service I am so grateful!
Elle has taken incredible care of my Amazon parrot on many occasions. My parrot has been a treasured part of my family for almost 30 years so I don’t trust her with just anyone! My parrot gets to hang with not just her but her sweet husband and their parrot, Yoshi, as well, and I can rest assured while traveling that she is in good hands. Elle sends periodic pictures and updates as well which set my mind at ease. Your bird will be spoiled with a great “flock” and healthy snacks, head scratches, and solid sleep. Highly recommend!
Just picked up my Parrotlet from a week with Elle and it was a great experience! I received text updates every day, and my bird was in a great mood! The process was super easy and I would board with her again in a heartbeat
From first contact to picking up the bird, the entire experience was smooth and pleasant. Elle is both extremely professional (a fantastic communicator & very organized) and also includes many cute personal touches (daily bird pictures & plays with the bird). Elle and her flock understand birds -- by the end of the short stay our skittish parrotlet was happy and comfortable enough to let Elle give her head scratches. Its wonderful to be able to leave our bird in such a caring enriching environment when we travel.
We love Country Dog Ranch, we needed a place for our active Belgian Malinois pity mix to go for boarding that knew how to fulfill the needs of our dog. We searched and searched and then a friend referred us to CDR and it has been a life saver we can go on vacation or even send her out for a day and know that she is well taken care of and that she has such a blast out there and always comes back tired. And we love checking the Instagram feed while she is out there to see her having a blast with all the other dogs and playing in the pool.
I am BEYOND satisfied with Dominic’s & Country Dog Ranch service. After needing a place for my Border Collie medium-sized 2-year-old dog to be taken care of. this has been by far the BEST experience that my puppy has had yet. The professionalism, constant communication & well-way responsive messages really did help and went a long way. Videos were sent throughout the stay and no worries about my sweet fur baby. I can’t wait for her stay again soon! I HIGHLY recommend this stay for your puppy! Thank you so very much. We are extremely happy! Ps. The pickup and drop off also goes such a long way! My puppy is now passed out sleeping after all fun activities she had.
Country Dog Ranch is the best! I know my dog always has a great time because he tries to run to every van that looks like the ones that CDR uses for pickup and drop-off. We have been using Country Dog Ranch for boarding for 3 years and recommend it to all our friends, who now send their dogs to CDR as well. Highly recommend!
The Country Dog Ranch is excellent. I take my dog there every time I have to travel for work or otherwise. I really trust them to take care of my dog Bryant. He always has so much fun there and the owner sends me videos of my dog on walks or in the pool. The owner (Dominique Dewitte) is excellent and very communicative and can arrange for pickups sometimes. Your dog will have a great time there!
My mini goldendoodle, Maisie, has been going here for about a year now, and I cannot say enough good things about this dog daycare. For $50 a day, the dogs are picked up from your home, taken to the daycare/camp for about 8 hours, and then returned back home in the evening. Maisie loves Dominick and his staff, and she always comes back happy and tired. The dogs have 6 acres to play, and there's a pool. Dominick has always been extremely communicative and very easy to work with. He never takes on more dogs than he and his team can comfortably control and handle, which is very appreciated. I recommend Country Dog Ranch to anyone looking for an affordable daycare for their dog,. Truly the best deal around.
Country Dog Ranch has been incredible with my dog Remy. He's reliable, responsive in a pinch, and my dog absolutely loves going to daycare with him. I'd have nothing but the best for my dog, and Country Dog Ranch always provides! The pricing is great, the service is excellent, and their location is incredible. This is by far the best dog-sitter I've ever had, I cannot recommend them enough!
My dog went to Country Dog Ranch for years and she absolutely loved every time she went. She got plenty of outdoor time, lots of space to run around and Dominic was always very kind to her. You can tell he has a real love for dogs and his pack is lucky to have him. Highly recommend.
Best day care and overnight boarding facility for dogs ever! Dominique is very patient with my rowdy puppy and my elder dog, who needs special care. I trust him completely with both dogs, who have ultimate respect for him. Casey loves going to the ranch for the day, romping and playing with her canine friends, swimming in the pool, running off leash all day! The in-home overnight boarding, pickup and delivery service is fabulous and the online videos of the dogs' activities are great to watch. My pup always comes home at the end of the day tired and happy.
I've been working with Dominique since 2010 and he and his wife run the most wonderful service! He's been taking my dogs twice a week for exercise and socialization, and occasional overnight boarding when I have to go out of town. I will never board my dogs anywhere else given the choice. He is thoughtful and kind and I trust him completely. He also has so much experience with dogs and gives me much needed advice when I ask. I would (and do) recommend his services to everyone!
This place is an absolute blessing! My Australian Cattle Dog stays there regularly while I travel for work and she could not be happier. Dom is an amazing person and a true dog whisperer. He runs The Country Dog Ranch impeccably and it is a beautiful place with rolling hills and open space AND a swimming pool made just for dogs!! Dom is communicative and responsive and posts videos on Facebook so you can see your dog running around having an amazing time. Also, his pick up and drop off service is priceless. I don't know how I'd get by without Dom and his wonderful Country Dog Ranch!
My pup Louie and I love Doggie Goddess! We have been going to the amazing women of Doggie Goddess for about a year now. Not only does Louie spend two days a week there, but he has boarded with them a few times as well. Each member of the staff is so kind, and I can tell they love my dog as if he’s their own. Regardless of the location, Louie comes home each day exhausted (in the best way) from playing and socializing with his pack! It’s incredibly special to find a business in which you can trust the staff to watch over an animal you love, especially one that is cage-free. Thank you to all the women who care for my pup while I’m unable to do so - you are such a huge and great part of Lou’s life!
Doggie Goddess is our dogs home away from home. They treat our mini schnauzer like family. Additionally they are extremely professional and go above and beyond. The facility is extremely clean and our dog has never come home sick after her visits at Doggie Goddess. Traci and her team are amazing. Definitely should recommended 10/10
Can’t say enough. My pup is always happy to see his pup friends and staff at doggie goddess. Everyone is so genuine and enthusiastic about spending time with all the dogs. This place is 10/10. By far the best daycare I have found in LA as they take care of my little drama queen as if he was their own.
My dogs have been going to Doggie Goddess for 10 years. If I could give Doggie Goddess more than 5 stars I would. Traci and her team are amazing. The dogs are always supervised, there is a very balanced pack mentality so the dogs get to have a great time but safety and balance is always happening as well. Traci and her team know all of the dogs, their personalities , quirks and what makes them happy. My dogs can't wait to go there and their sleepovers are the best. There is someone who sleeps with the dogs( which I love). If you are looking for a safe, fun place for daycare and/or boarding, I highly recommend Doggie Goddess.
We love doggie goddess and we won’t take our pup anywhere else. The level of care, love, and attentiveness Traci and her team give my pup is so apparent. My pup is always so tired after a day at doggie goddess because they play and enrich him!! We cannot recommend DG enough and always recommend them to our friends!
I truly would trust Traci and her team with my pup daisys life! They are the absolute best and Daisy loves them with her whole heart. They take the best care of all their pups and love them all like their own
The amazing team of beautiful souls at this business are always sweet and fun; they go above and beyond to have a great time with all the pups. Couldn't recommend their services more. The hours are great. Their rates are worth it. And their location is pretty central from the Westside to mid City.
We love the folks over at Doggie Goddess! Our pup enjoys his time there, and they are super active on socials - which means lots of pics throughout his stay!
I forgot about this place until I get an email from them, so let me warn future pet owners: The worker, Yadira, is a case in unhinged behavior. When I went to pick up my dog, I heard someone angrily yelling at the dogs to be quiet. This worried me so I started filming. From the moment this worker greeted me and opened the door, she had a nasty attitude, was rude, would not listen to my questions, and basically acted like an angry immature high schooler. I had to use de-escalation skills and try to reason with her. Luckily, she didn't see the camera, so I was able to record her behavior without her putting on a mask. She would not let my dog out for almost 4 minutes after I went to pick him up. While my pup whined to come out, she angrily told me that he had tried to snap at her AFTER SHE PULLED HIM BY THE COLLAR. When I asked her why she did this, because I've heard you never do that with a dog you don't own, she proceeded to give me more attitude, giving pseudo-explanations that made no sense. She even lied telling me she's told my husband about my dog having issues (My dog has never had issues at any other day care). When I asked my husband about this, he said he had no idea what she was talking about. She probably had the wrong dog in her deluded mind. I got a call from the owner that day to complain about me. After seeing the video however, the owner did apologize to us and told us Yadira just had a bad day. Unfortunately, I don't want to leave my pup with humans who act psychotic when they have a "bad day." That said, we decided never to bring out pup there where a crazy lady with rage issues will yell at the dogs and pull them by the collar whenever she wants just because that's probably the only time in her day she gets to feel some sort of power.
We’ve tried several L.A. area dog daycare and boarding centers for my high energy, XL girl and BY FAR, HANDS DOWN, we are happiest with Doggie Goddess. The owner and her staff obviously really love and understand all dogs. I feel most relaxed and assured that my baby is in good hands when I drop her here! No time outs or cages, just redirection, when needed! True Pros!
Shari (and her crew when extremely booked ) have been taking care of my 2 fur babies for almost 4 years! She is the most amazing human and my cats absolutely adore her! I have never felt so safe leaving my animals with someone, I can not praise this company more! 12/10
Amazing! Shari was excellent - very communicative, great with the cats, and super friendly/accommodating! One of my two cats is super picky, and I usually get a message from pet sitters in the past saying they couldn't find him, but with Shari, that was completely different - he was happy with her right away and even came out to play whenever she stopped by. You care a lot for your animals and want to make sure you're leaving them with someone who can be trusted and knows how to look after them; look no further than Westside Pet Sitters! I wholeheartedly endorse them, and they will be my go-to pet sitters moving forward. Thank you, Shari!
Shari is the absolute best! I was lucky enough to find her when I moved to LA and am now limiting my house search to her service radius because she is just that fabulous. She is reliable, honest, and most importantly one of my cats' favorite people. She spends time playing with them each visit, gives me updates on their well-being, and sends the most adorable photos. I cannot recommend Shari/Westside Pet Sitters enough!
Westside Pet Sitters has been taking care of my cat Henry every time I go out of town. It's a local service and they knew my apartment and neighborhood from taking care of previous pet owners. Shari is great and did a quick interview to get acquainted with me and Henry, and then does in-house visits which is great for Henry. Email and SMS both work for booking appointments, and she sends pictures every day while I'm gone.
Shari is the best! Very communicative, thorough, and sent photos and messages for every visit so I knew my cats were doing well. Working with Westside Pet Sitters was a great experience; I will definitely be a repeat customer!
The BEST pet sitters! Shari has watched my cats for years now. They love her! Shari is very responsive - always returning my calls and texts ASAP. She's also very reliable. I fully trust her to take care of my cats and to administer their medication when needed. If you need a great pet sitter, I highly recommend contacting Westside Pet Sitters!
Shari has been walking my greyhound 4 times a week for several months now and she takes such great care of him. I can see how much she actually cares for all of the animals, and he obviously loves her too. She has been an amazing dog walker and I'm always recommending her to all my friends. She is always on time and very responsive. I get a nice text after each walk to show my boy's well taken care of.
Shari is the best pet sitter I've ever had, and I highly recommend her business. Shari is very professional, trustworthy and most importantly, she genuinely cares for my furry creature. It's a joy to receive photos of my cat cuddling up next to her while being away. It's never easy to leave the fluffy one at home, but Shari definitely helps me feel relaxed. I can never thank her enough for her exceptional services.
Shari and her crew have been caring for our cats for almost 6 years now. I can’t say enough about how professional she is, how much she loves our fur babies, and how much I trust her with all my heart when my husband and I have to go out of town! Our oldest cat is fairly prickly and is on critical meds twice a day, but Shari always gives him the best care and is so sweet and loving. She always gives us picture updates and even takes extra steps like asking if we want the AC left on if it’s a hot day. Shari is always very responsive to our texts or calls. I sometimes hear from her within minutes! Her prices are very reasonable considering her thoroughness. I wholeheartedly recommend Westside Pet Sitters to everyone!
We have been using Westside Pet Sitters 4-5x/week for over 2 years since we adopted our dog and have absolutely loved our experience! Shari is always super communicative, able to accommodate last minute walk requests, and is a delight to work with. Our dog has some leash reactivity and can be a handful to walk, but Shari and her team have always been so sweet with him and have used the same training methods we use, so I've always felt very well aligned with them. It seems that they all truly love animals and understand them. From our experience shopping around prior to choosing Westside, we found their prices to be on par with other local services, but got a much faster, warmer response from Shari and have used her ever since!
Happy Heart Pet Care and TEAM!!!! Is there any other substitute? I don’t think so!!! When it comes to my Pixie girl, I have a very difficult time trusting. Happy Heart put all of my concerns to ease. They are always accommodating and able to watch my little girl, even at the last minute. I highly recommend giving them a try, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Anna Marie
I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful Anna Marie is with our pup, Lucy. She’s extremely knowledgeable about how to care for dogs, flexible with my timings, and just an overall pleasure to talk to. We recently picked Lucy up from a 16-day stay, and not once over that period was I worried about how she was doing. Anna Marie went above and beyond - she sent frequent photos and videos, brushed her out daily, worked on commands, and even took it into her own hands to figure out what food Lucy needed when she was being a picky eater. To tell you that I was such at ease knowing she was in Anna Marie’s care is an understatement. I am so grateful to have found her and Happy Heart Pet Care. Don’t think twice about booking your pet here!
I am an EXTREMELY over protective Dog Mom to my 5 yo French Bull Dog Brodie. I have been searching for a dog sitter and trainer for him as long as I can remember, but I’ve never been satisfied leaving my fur baby until I found Happy Heart Pet Care. I will say I love to spoil my boy and only the best will do, however, this also meant he got away with a lot more behavioral wise then he should. So I needed to find someone knowledgeable that I could trust with my boy… I haven’t been able to find someone reliable that not only had the experience to help train Brodie, but that I felt comfortable trusting to care for him. Anna Marie checks all the boxes. She not only has helped with Brodie’s training, but I trust her to care for him as if he was her own. She is truly our dog nanny! Brodie loves Anna Marie and he has become such a better behaved boy since he was introduced to her training and care. Having a person who not only will train your dog, but love them the way you would is priceless. He respects her and she has a great relationship with my boy teaching him with obedience training and socialization. All the dogs she cares for are very well behaved so he has her pack to learn from as well. She also is a great resource for a number of suggestions and advice with regard to your pets health and well being. She is always the first person I call or text to ask any questions with regard to his health or needs, which is invaluable. She is one of the most kind and understanding people I’ve met in LA and I have no doubt I would ever find someone who cares or loves Brodie more as a trainer or dog nanny than her. Needless to say I highly recommend Happy Heart Pet Care. Your life will be easier with your dog if you use her, trust me!
So grateful to have found Happy Heart Pet Care--they are the best! I have an adopted pound dog who is super skittish (and bark-y) with new people and for the past 4+ years, has not been comfortable with other dogs. She LOVES Anna-Marie and Matthew and, after just three visits, she is already changing in wonderful ways--less skittish with new people and excited to play with other dogs, which I never thought possible. Anna-Marie is incredibly kind and accommodating, thoughtful about introducing new dogs to their environment, and thoughtful of skittish human owners, sending them photos of their happy dogs. I contacted them because of the consistently amazing Yelp reviews (a rare thing), without realizing they're on the west side of LA. My dog and I are way on the east side, but still travel there because knowing my pup is safe and happy with people she loves and who genuinely care is worth everything.
Matthew and Anna Marie are both so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about dogs. Their love for our 9week old Darcy is so heartwarming! I certainly had my concern leaving a young puppy with other people for a week, but Matthew and Anna Marie stayed very communicative. They also helped me on getting to know/adjust for a puppy. I could see Darcy was so well cared for through photos/detailed text updates. Truly appreciate their existence 💙
Anna-Marie took care of my 1 year old shih tzu puppy, Tater Tot, for almost 3 weeks while we were away. She was wonderful as she was very flexible with drop off/pick up times, and gave Tater Tot lots of love but also trained him! Tater is much more calm and well behaved now! He was brushed everyday, made many new dog friends, and enjoyed his walks. Anna-Marie updated us with cute photos and videos of him and we can’t wait to have him back with her again!
Where do I start? So thankful for Matt and Anna Maria. Matt has been a life saver with behavior modification with my sweet girl Cocoa. Cocoa is a hyper-vigilant rescue pit, with a few social challenges. Matt not only was able to with patience and professionalism, earn her trust, and help with her behaviors, he was also able to teach me, ways to manage when she and I are in the wild. He is very hands on, and teaches key fundamentals when handling a dog, and working with the world around them. I literally on multiple occasions have been able to handle situations without panic and stress due to Matt’s training. Cocoa also has been managing her stress better as well. You are equipped with the knowledge literally after just one session, the most rewarding thing is seeing the transformation in Cocoa. She has come such a long way. Happy Heart Pet Care has been a blessing. I highly recommend. 10 out of 10!
I highly recommend this company not just as a dog trainer but for all your pet care needs. They do training, dog sitting, walking, and even cat sitting. They are highly experienced and had my aggressive rescue dog showing improvement after just a few sessions! I’ve also used their services when traveling. They send updates on the pup and make sure he is very well taken care of. Highly recommend them!!
We found Anna Marie on Yelp and trusted the good reviews she had- it was the first time we left our puppy with someone she didn't know and in another city. We loved Anna the first moment we met her, she was super kind, and you could tell she had a lot of knowledge and experience with dogs. We saw our puppy liked her from the very beginning and felt safe with her- we left her one full day and, when we picked her up, she was super happy and looked like Anna took great care of her. I highly recommend her; she is amazing!
Matthew & Anna Marie are fantastic! They started working with my bullmastiff puppy December 1, 2023 and my puppy has grown into such a wonderful, friendly, obedient dog with the kindness & training from Happy Heart Pet Care. I trust them 100% and my pup loves the time he gets to spend with them. Many thanks to them for all the support & help. Sam
I love Rover Kennels! My dog Uno and my foster Zully are always excited to "go to school," which proves to me that they are treated well and have fun! The Special Events like "Canine Fitness" (obstacle course), "water days" (kiddie pools and splash pads) and "snouts and crafts" (paint and canvas, with a little help from plastic wrap and peanut butter) are creative and interactive ways to entertain the pups. Shout out to Shawna and Mike!
I adopted my dog Uma from the rescue group operated by an owner of Rover Kennels. My dog is very cute. You would love her too. I'm at work in a parking lot right now and I already miss that dog. Even if she does tear up all my sleeves.
I hate leaving my pup, but I know he is in good hands at Rover. Clean facility and everyone is really friendly.
Best daycare in LA! Two locations - Santa Monica and culver city make this super convenient for westsiders and the staff is warm, true dog lovers and make me, and my fur baby (120 lb bernese mtn dog) feel safe, cared for and genuinely appreciated. They have great hours and after hour pickup (for a addl fee) which is so great as many just automatically make you board your dog if you can’t get there by closing…what if you go to a concert or movie or dinner after work?! Rover gives you options! They have a good size indoor play area and while I wish they had a doggy cam or report card, the proof is how my pup reacts when we get there-she bounds out of the car and can’t wait to get in and play with the staff and her friends. Special shout out to Billy, Alex and Bennet for being so great with her!
Looks like a sweet place and the people seem to care about the dogs in their care. I picked up my granddog and they forgot to give me her food, so meh on service. Better service the 2nd time around...and they offer late pickup, which made this weekend of dogsitting super easy.
My girl loves this place. The people here are so amazing and really care.
Been taking our dog to Rover since he was old enough to play with other dogs. He absolutely loves Rover and I am so thankful for their service. Everyone there is friendly and they all seem like they love dogs. I honestly see myself taking my dog there for a very very long time.
The staff love their dogs and the customers' dogs in such a beautiful way that we all feel like extended family. This is the most wonderful experience my Puppy and I have ever had with day care and boarding. THANK YOU Rover staff!!!
One afternoon we came to pick our dog up and she wreaked of urine. When we got home I noticed that she had dry sticky urine all over her belly, legs, back, and right side. I called Rover to let them know the state which she was returned to us. The person I spoke to told me “they wipe down all the dogs before they go back to the owner”. Rather than taking the approach that the “customer is right”, or even asking me to bring the dog in so they could see for themselves, they argued that it couldn’t be the case. They offered us a free bath and blow dry for the dog. We told him we appreciated the call but would be unlikely to use them again. I didn’t write a negative review at the time. This weekend my husband and I thought we’d give Rover one more try. We requested to drop our dog off early (there’s an extra charge for this). A few hours later the owner gave me a call. He wanted to know why we decided to use them again. I thought it was a friendly question so I said we’d like to give them another try. He noted we were very unhappy last time we were there – I said “yes but I’m guessing that’s not the typical customer experience”. His voice became harsh and he said that last time we were there we cursed at his staff???!! I found that amusing because I spoke to him and would expect him to remember that I didn’t curse at all. In fact, I thought we left on pretty amicable terms – I just suggested I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my dog at a place where she may be returned to me covered in urine. Synopsis - the staff are unprofessional, your dog may very well be soiled during the day (even if he/she does get a wipe down before getting returned to you), and there are lots of better places with more space that cost less.
Such a wonderful place for our Great Dane on those occasions when we leave town. They have a great staff and a wonderful play area for the dogs. Plus the options for grooming, walks, teeth cleaning, nail trimming, etc. Always get back a happy and exhausted puppy when we pick up our boy.
I have been sending my dog here for the past few months and Susie, Shahid and all the staff are GOD SENT! My dog has been thriving physically and emotionally and LOVES getting dropped off and I am beyond impressed with the careful care and love they give the dogs. Kind staff who just love our dogs genuinely! You can't put a price tag on that! Thank you Howling Dog!
My pup Matcha always has an amazing time here. Susie is super nice and always shares photos during the day. I don’t like regular doggy daycares due to overcrowding, overstimulation, etc., issues, but Howling Dog is a small ratio of dogs to humans. Susie focuses on a mix of enrichment, group play, etc. with a smaller group of dogs. 10/10 would recommend!
Howling Dog is truly exceptional - there's really no where else I would trust with my puppy! The staff is so kind, incredibly attentive, and the enrichment schedule is top notch - socialization, obedience training, and fun tricks are part of each and every day. My puppy practically leaps out of the car with excitement every time we arrive and has made huge progress in socialization, reactivity, confidence, and separation anxiety since we started going to Howling Dog! The dogs are closely monitored, the environment is incredibly clean and spacious, and the owner and staff are true professionals. This place sounds too good to be true, but I promise you: it's the real deal!! So grateful to have found them!
I am beyond grateful we found Susie and her team! The staff is attentive and caring which gives us so much peace of mind when we need to drop our puppy off. We have used their daycare and boarding services and I can’t recommend Howling Dog enough!
Susie is AMAZING. They have a great facility, great ethos, and really care about the well being of the dogs. We have a nervous new dog that comes back so happy and enriched each time we drop him off. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Susie and her team are the best. I’m so lucky to have found her. She does an amazing job with my 2 year old German Shepherd. Super clean facility. I highly recommend!
Howling Dog — If you are in So Cal & looking for a “not just a dog daycare place” but a place where your pup is cared for, nurtured and even INSPIRED. Nope, it’s not way more than the other places. Susie, the CEO and owner is definitely the kind of person you would want watching over your pup. I had been to several places and while Joely loved the place so much up in WA— we were so happy to find a similar place here YAY!!! Better sign up now cause its going to be SRO soon. Mark my words. Thanks Susie. See you soon!
My dog’s been coming here for months and every day she comes home tired - in a great way - and happy and healthy. I have the utmost confidence in Susie and her team.
Ochie seems to enjoy his time there. He is exhausted when he leaves from having so much fun!
Never before have I written a review of a service I have never used, after 2 emails and a text with no callback, I have to question Howlin Dog professionalism. Can't trust my dog to these people.
Stephanie was awesome! She welcomed our senior dog into her home while we had to go on a last minute trip. She asked all of the right questions during our interview call. During our trip, she sent us updates and photos — not too many and not too few! He seemed to have a great time with Stephanie and her dog and probably wishes he were still hanging with them ☺️
Our normal boarding center was fully booked up over Labor Day weekend, and I called Stephanie on a whim after realizing she works a few minutes away from our home. My 1-year-old doodle mix had an absolute blast with Puppy Pants. Stephanie is kind, attentive, and communicative! We'll be leaving him again with her for a full week.
Stephanie and Paul are LIFE SAVERS! I honestly don't know what I'd do without them. They're the best rate around (I searched far and wide), they're dependable, flexible, and conscientious, and they're great with dogs. I've got a big 55 lb dog that's less than a year old so he's still pretty excitable (don't say the word "squirrel"!), and when we met Stephanie for our initial meet-and-greet, she was clearly experienced and adept with walking a big strong dog, even with his puppy energy. She and Paul (Paul has mostly been the one to walk him most days) are everything I could want in a dog walker and more. Hire them, and your pooch will LOVE you for it!
To say that Kona enjoyed his time here is an understatement. Being newcomers to LA, we were pressed on time to find a long term (7 nights) dog sitter fast. However, Stephanie did a great job sending frequent updates (pictures, videos) which gave us peace of mind knowing that Kona was in safe hands. So happy we found Puppy Pants LA… Our new go-to dog sitting/boarding place :)
Stephanie and Paul were amazing with my two old girls! I was extremely nervous, as I never had left my 9-year-olds for more than a few days, but they were clearly well-cared for and happy with Stephanie and Paul. They sent me pictures and videos while I was on my trip so I could see that the girls were faring well. I highly recommend them, and will definitely be calling upon their very reasonable services again!
My little poodle loves her weekend stays with Stephanie. Stephanie has managed to help us out twice (once being super last minute) and I plan to continue to keep her top of mind for boarding.
We left our 8 mo border collie for the weekend with Stephanie and Andrew and it was such a stress-free experience! They sent us daily picture and status updates so we never had to wonder how our puppy was doing. We will most definitely be utilizing Puppy Pants LA again. Thank you both so much!
Stephanie did great job dog sitting my 2 shibas. Was last minute and the pups had a good and relaxing time!
This place is so incredible! For all you dog lovers out there,I highly recommend it! I was referred by a friend to get special treatment for my dog and they're all amazing. Great customer service also!
Great dog sitters
Love the Dingo Doggies team! Dewey has been a pack member for over 3 years now, since he was a puppy. I was referred by my friend Tara (years before I had a dog and I always said if I had one, he would be in the DD pack based on Tara’s amazing review and knowing her pup). He is the most gentle, calm, well mannered fuzzy man I know. Dingo Doggies has been a huge part of his development and is like continuing education for practicing consistency. He has a structured day of fulfillment and enrichment, getting his steps in during the treadmill pack walk and strengthening his mind on the agility course. I love that DD practices structure, calmness, and fulfillment. You will not find a concrete room with a 100 dogs running around peeing on each other here. You will find lots of love and a caring team connecting 1:1 with your pup. When Dewey meets other dogs on the street (or people) he is very calm and patient despite what may be excited energy and barking from the other dog (or people haha). If you are considering training or an alternate to traditional doggie daycare, def consider Dingo Doggies! It is an investment in lifelong happiness to have a well trained, fulfilled, happy pup who is safe around kids and can be taken to a mall/park/promenade/restaurant and not be distracted or reactive to the environment around them.
I found Dingo Doggies nearly 2 years ago when I was looking for more structure for my active-minded Nova. it has been the greatest blessing EVER. Nova has shown massive improvement in her confidence and manners. She continues to make good choices at home due to the at-home session and guidance that Reneé provided me. Not only has Nova benefitted, but I myself have learned a TON - like how to understand her needs, provide direction, promote calmness and good choices, and instilling better boundaries in the house. I am eternally grateful for Dingo Doggies and all of the incredible trainers that give the utmost love and nurturing to the pups. I wish everyone could experience the amazingness of DD.
Sending our puppy to Dingo Doggies was the best decision we could have made! Renée and her team are so smart and know everything about dogs. We have an Aussie puppy with a TON of energy, and they helped her develop into a happy, confident, and much calmer pup! Our dog LOVES her days and stays at the DD campus - she gets to see all her doggie friends, and we take comfort in knowing how carefully they select and assess their clients / take safety seriously. I trust them to take care of my dog more than anyone else!
The Dingo Doggies team changed our dog's life for the better! We owe so much gratitude to Renee and her staff! We rescued a Boxer puppy. For 6-months, we tried everything to curb his insecurities and anxiousness but to no avail. We saw a few trainers but nothing worked. However, after having Nash spend 2-days per week at Dingo Doggies, within weeks we started to see a dramatic improvement in his personality. He's now a happy and content, well-behaved dog. He listens. He follows commands. There's still room for improvement. but he seems so much happier than he ever was before.
Our dog Apollo has truly thrived with Dingo Doggies over the past 5 years and I can highly recommend them. Apollo has been a regular in class, and has loved his occasional boarding as well. Renee and her team care deeply about dogs and what they need to be calm, social, and well-trained. We are so grateful to Dingo Doggies for everything they have taught us and for the great care!
My dog Oliver has been coming to dingo since he was a puppy and it was the best decision I could’ve made! As a first time dog mom, they helped shape him into an obedient, calm pup. I love how everything is very well structured, organized and clean. It amazes me every time how well behaved the pack is when I see the updates on instagram. I trust them immensely! The staff is so wonderful, professional, and very communicative. It truly feels like a family :) I’m so appreciative for this place!
We have been sending our dog, Bella, to Dingo Doggies for a year now, starting when she was six months old, and we could not be happier with the experience. We had invested a lot of time training Bella at home and wanted a dog daycare where she would continue to grow without picking up any bad habits. Dingo Doggies is exactly what we were looking for. Each day at Dingo Doggies follows a structured schedule, including place work, agility course practice, treadmill time, and controlled socialization. This structure has helped Bella learn to calmly socialize with other dogs, something we found challenging to teach her at home. The trainers at Dingo Doggies have provided the right setting and guidance for Bella to make significant progress in this area. Additionally, Dingo Doggies has offered Bella a great opportunity to learn to listen to and respect other humans (she is excitable and likes attention), besides her primary caretaker and trainer at home. Dingo Doggies also offers boarding, which is a great advantage because Bella is already familiar with the system, and we do not have to worry about her picking up bad behaviors while we are away. We enjoy seeing the daily Instagram stories posted by Dingo Doggies, which show what all the dogs are up to and highlight Bella’s progress. The trainers genuinely love the dogs and form special connections with them, which is evident during pickup and drop-off, as well as in the Instagram stories. Renée, the owner of Dingo Doggies, clearly loves the dogs and is dedicated to helping each one become its best self. She is always available for phone calls to update us on Bella’s growth, provide advice, or answer any questions. Renée is very direct with both us and the dogs, so we know we are getting her honest thoughts, not just sugar-coated answers. If you can send your dog to Dingo Doggies, you will not regret it!
Where do I start? Renee and her team and Dingo Doggies cannot get a high enough recommendation from my wife and me and our fuzzy dude Saka (1 year old Goldendoodle). We can't imagine our life without Dingo Doggies. Saka was a typical pup when he came to Dingo about a year ago and was pushy, overly excitable, and lacked impulse control. I had watched countless Youtube/Instagram videos before we found Renee and Dingo and finally took him in for a consultation. Over the next year, the structure of daycare helped take him from a pup that would jump on the furniture and run up stairs to one that happily sleeps under our feet when we're on the couch at night. We've gone from a dog that couldn't calm down and would ramp up uncontrollably on walks to one that's starting to learn off leash recall and can walk behind us on a 15ft long line. There will always be room for improvement, but we trust Renee and her team to help show Saka and me how to live our lives together and help each other coexist. They have set him up for success and made him a more balanced and confident dog. She's shown us how to set boundaries, what little tweaks to make in the home, and how to create structure and leadership for Saka. We always love seeing the daily updates when he's at school like the videos of proper socialization and the obstacle courses. We trust leaving him when we're away at Dingo's boarding, knowing that if we can't be there with him, that he's learning and at a place that he absolutely loves. If you want your dog to be balanced and get amazing feedback and structure from trainers on a regular basis, get to Dingo Doggies!
Our dog Vira, was a rescue from Chile . She had no idea how to stay in place and we feared she would hit by car if she ran into the street . Dingo Doggies has taught her to stay in place without a lease . They treat your dog as if it’s their own. We highly recommend Dingo Doggies . Trainers amazing as well .
Reneè and her team have been a GAME CHANGER for our pup! We have been continually impressed by both the facility & the in-home training that we have received for our dog, Kiwi. You can see and feel that Reneè & her staff truly love & enjoy their roles and take these pets’ training & the families seriously. I don’t know where we would be without it, honestly
My cat spent a week at PetCare recovering from a major surgery that required round-the-clock observation and timely administration of meds. Lilli is a registered veterinary nurse and has incredible intuition about animals. She and her staff were exactly what my two year old kitten needed, when she handed him off to me he was ready for convalescence at home. She becomes mother and patron saint for those in her care.
Lillie and her team did a wonderful job caring for my disabled french bulldog, Bean. Bean has a lot of anxieties especially when he is out of a routine but Lillie kept his schedule and he was perfectly fine! Such a relief as an owner. If you have a pet with any sort of special needs care I cannot recommend PetCare LB enough. Thank you Lillie!
I boarded my senior cat for the first time as he was in need of medical treatment that I deemed too much to handle for any of my friends. At first, I was nervous as he has never been away from his home, but Lily proved very quickly that he acclimated very well and was in very good hands. He ate good amounts and interacted with the staff and by the time he returned home he was happy, relaxed and his medical stats improved. Well done PetCare LB thank you for taking such great care of my baby 🐈😻
I couldn't be more pleased with the care my cat received from Lilly and the entire staff at PetCare LB. They're extremely nice, professional and well-trained. They were responsive to all my concerns, and made themselves available at the odd times I needed to drop my cat off and pick her up, even on a holiday. Lilly's employees work as veterinarian assistants, so they know how to skillfully administer medication, injections, and handle a pet's medical needs. They also love pets and seem to give them plenty of affection, social interaction, grooming, etc. The pets are never left alone. When I pick my cat up after a few days at Lilly's, she seems completely relaxed, her coat looks good; there seems to be no trauma or stress whatsoever. If anything, she seems in better shape than when I dropped her off. I'm so glad I found PetCare LB and will be continuing to bring my cat to them for years to come.
I'm proud to write the first review of PetCare LB because I recommend them so highly. I'll spare you my full backstory, but my 17-yr-old Corgi mix is slowing down and needs special attention, and it's been nearly impossible for me to find a sitter that I was comfortable leaving him with. A friend gave me Lilliana's info and I took my dog to her new facility for a meet & greet. When she told me she's a Registered Vet Nurse who's been working in emergency facilities for years, I knew she could probably handle any medical issues that might arise. It was also a huge bonus that her place is close to my home, but most importantly Lilliana is a super friendly, smart, experienced specialist that was very sweet and caring with my dog (and the others that were at her facility recovering from surgery) and her demeanor gave me a peace of mind that I haven't been able to find with anyone else. But what happened next is a testament to her true character: I made my first appointment for a weekend stay, and a few days before the drop-off date my dog got a violent case of..."lower intestinal issues." After a couple of messy nights, he showed a little improvement, but not much. I was thinking I may have to cancel my travel plans, but when I called Lilliana to let her know she wasn't fazed at all and said to bring him on down. I went on a 3-day trip and was so relieved to know he was in such good hands. Lilliana sent me pics and text updates along the way. I just picked him up and my dog seemed happy and rested, and best of all, Lilliana said he's welcome back anytime. (I've gotten the opposite response from some sitters who weren't up for the challenge.) I just hope she doesn't get too busy for us in the future because this is definitely my dog's new home away from home. One final note: since my dog was sick, I dropped him off with a couple of Pyrex bowls full of chicken and rice. Apparently one of them broke while Lilliana was washing it, and she bought me a brand new one! Now THAT is above and beyond in my opinion. So if you care about your pet(s) as much as I do - and I suspect you do if you're reading this - you should definitely contact PetCare LB for your boarding needs. I would give more stars if I could!
Truly the only place I trust with my dog in Los Angeles. I have a special needs dog and I would not be able to travel if it wasn't for them. They go above and beyond and I am so so grateful. Special thank you to Lilliana, you are one of a kind!!!
I am so happy (and relieved!) to have found Lili and PetCare LB. Our senior dog developed chronic pancreatitis 18 months ago and since then we have not felt comfortable leaving him in traditional boarding or with a petsitter. He takes several medications and while most of the time he is fine, he tends to stop eating when we're away and can take sudden dramatic downturns that need to be carefully managed (we almost lost him to a flareup last year and are still traumatized). Now that he's been stable for over a year, we asked our vet for a recommendation of a petsitter or boarder with medical training and he suggested Lili, whom he has worked with for several years. I can't overstate how amazing it was to find someone with so much experience and empathy who caters to pets like ours who need more support and attention. It was so reassuring to leave our dog with someone with the expertise to know how to handle any issues if they did arise. After a successful one-night stay with Lili we finally felt comfortable planning a long-delayed honeymoon trip knowing our pup was in good hands. We were gone for 12 days, during which time we got regular updates from Lili and our pup did great! We are so relieved to have found someone we can trust to take care of our baby if/when we need to travel. I can't recommend Lili and PetCareLB highly enough!
Amazing! Lillie provided wonderful loving care for our dog after two surgeries. Lots of TLC, friendly, warm hearted team. She sent us photos and caring thoughtful updates. The team took care of our dog’s special needs. Lillie absolutely goes the extra mile. Experienced and vet educated team. Highly recommend for your loved pets.
I cannot recommend PetCare LB enough!!! I have boarded my elderly cats there three times now and will continue doing so in the future. One cat (10 years old) has cancer and takes medication daily, and the other (16 years old) has kidney disease. Both are finicky eaters and I worry about leaving them alone lest they stop eating, which happened with previous petsitters, and yet every time they stay at PetCare LB they come home looking healthy and maintaining their weight. The cat who takes daily medications is a bit feisty but everyone at PetCare LB is skilled at handling her and still able to give her the meds. Not only will I continue taking my pets here, I also am a veterinarian and will continue recommending PetCare LB to clients. They are amazing and I absolutely trust them with my pets AND my patients!!!
Pet Care LB is the best! You can go away on vacation and rest easy that your pet is taken care of 100% by Lilly and her wonderful staff! ❤️ Love you guys!!
