Cynthia was a perfect pet sitter for our little kitty. We knew from her extensive experience with cats that Nala was in good hands. She was extremely responsive via texts when we were away, ensuring us that the 2 of them were having a great time. She went absolutely above and beyond by scrubbing our bath and toilets to remove our mineral deposit rings that we haven't been able to get rid of! She even left the name of the product she used so we can get more in the future. The house was cleaner than when we left. We'll have her back anytime!
There are not enough words in the English language to express my deepest gratitude to Teresa and all the amazing love and care she showed my sweet cat Milo. From the moment she met Milo, I knew there was going to be a very special bond. He instantly relaxed when he first met and already looked so happy and at peace with her. The bond between the two of them only seemed to get stronger and stronger with every day that I was away. This two-week trip was so important for me as it was the first real "vacation" I had taken in a few years. I was in desperate need of a mental and physical break and knew that in order to have a true "time off', I needed to feel completely at peace with Milo being well-taken care of. Well my prayers were answered as Teresa was the "cat whisperer" I was hoping for. I could not have asked for a better, more compassionate, self-reliant, and intuitive sitter ! Teresa was also so diligent in sending me her daily picture and video updates of my cat. With every picture and video I saw, I knew that Milo was so happy being with her and I never worried for one minute while I was away. What a gift ! Teresa was also a serious life-saver for me as literally an hour before I was leaving for my trip, I found out my cat's tracker app was not working and after a few emails and phone calls, we found out the tracker's server was down. Teresa took the initiative to follow up with getting the tracker to work again which was a HUGE stress-relief for me . She is not only wonderfully savvy with animals but also with technology as well ! I feel so fortunate to have Teresa in my life now, not only as an amazing sitter for Milo but also as a wonderful friend for life! Thank you, Teresa for everything.... Milo and I so appreciate you .....
Brian is a very professional sitter that does a good job, pays attention to details and is easy to work with. I have a lot of plants. A lot. He suggested me do a video for the plant care so he could be sure of which ones needed what. Brilliant! I’d never thought of that. They were in great shape when I returned. I explained that I needed some flexibility with travel dates, he agreed and rolled with the punches like a champ when my dates did indeed change. Unfortunately, he was a bit allergic to my cat but made it work anyway. He was really awesome about everything including a tree that fell next door in a storm and blocked the road for three days. I appreciate that he appreciated how funny and how much personality Boo has. They got along well and I received some great videos. I returned home to a happy cat and a house well taken care of 😊. I would definitely recommend Brian.
Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.
Toby and Chloe were one of the best house sitters we have ever had! As a small animal vet I have seen many types of pet sitters and these guys are top notch. Our pets are not easy either. We have special needs dogs, cats on medication, dogs with behavioral issues, horses, chickens, goats and a large (100 lb) Sulcata tortoise who needed close monitoring of the temperature in his barn. Everyone was thriving and happy when we came home. They read through the packet and asked thorough, thoughtful questions. They went above and beyond grooming, mucking and grazing the horses and goats everyday. They chopped greens and fruit daily for our tortoise. If we had known how amazing they were we would have booked a 3 week trip instead! Can't recommend them enough.
Denae and Burl were absolutely fabulous house/pet sitters for 4 weeks, Dec 2022- Jan 23. They are very friendly and intelligent, caring towards the animals (2 cats and 1 lively dog), and left our home clean and tidy. It all went very, very smoothly. It was a pleasure to deal with such nice people. We have invited them back whenever they want and hope the rest of their exploratory mission is a great success. I would be pleased to be contacted if anyone needs a further reference.
Jenima is an excellent sitter! She is organized, communicative and flexible throughout the stay. We needed a sitter at the last minute because Jazz got sick, and Jenima saved us. We left a little worried about him, but Jenima took care of him really well and kept us informed. Cats love her! We definitely recommend her to take care of your pets!
Lindsey watched our cat and dog for a long weekend when we went out of town. She was a very communicative sitter sending frequent pictures and voice notes with updates. She did a great job of following their schedules and giving them attention. The animals seemed to be happy and relaxed when we returned home and I believe Lindsey enjoyed getting to discover all of the eateries our town has to offer. A win-win for everyone!
Jinnie was an excellent house sitter for me and my cat Felix. Completely responsible and reliable and helpfully flexible. She was willing to work with me as I dithered on whether I was actually going to go on my trip (which was dependent on good weather), and when I finally decided on making my trip one day shorter. House was clean and organized on my return, and, more importantly, my cat was calm and relaxed on my return. I would happily have Jinnie come sit for me and Felix again.
Pennee and Bill were the BEST pet sitters and guests ever! I really wanted them to stay forever ! Our cat, Miss Kitty bonded so much to them, that she really wasn’t that happy to see me when I got home .Our cat is a finicky eater and they tried all different types of food and treats for her. They sent me regular photos of miss kitty and I knew everything was great when most of the pics had miss kitty on their lap. Our cat doesn’t take to many people but she immediately fell in love with them. Pennee sent us our mail and prescription meds on a regular basis , and went out of her way to take care of any issues . They fell in love with the neighbors and community and just made our lives so easy . We experienced the Covid 19 virus outbreak quarantine during this time and Pennee and Bill agreed to stay a month longer at our home . They were extremely flexible with their travel plans so that everyone would be safe. Upon our arrival home, we were greeted with a bouquet of flowers , beautiful hanging basket of flowers for outdoors and a beautiful bottle of wine . And our house had never been cleaner ! Bill and Pennee are a pet owners dream couple !I felt extremely lucky to have found such a great petsitter and new friend . We will be visiting each other in the future .

The Wacky Wags team is incredible. Always goes above and beyond to take care of our Dog and treats him like their very own. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
Always friendly and professional! McLovin never seems to mind being dropped off there for boarding. He gets to play with his friends.
Wacky Wags treats our dog like he's their own. He's an anxious dog with a cautious temperament but he loves Wacky Wags and that says a lot for him. The owners and employees are always so pleasant, patient, understanding, and helpful. Highly recommend!
This place is amazing. I was nervous about boarding my dog Bella because she's a pandemic puppy and has separation anxiety. The care and attention by the staff put those worries to rest. I was able to see how much fun she was having through their puppy cam. Shout out to Dalton for giving me updates on Bella while I was on my trip. The pricing is also very reasonable for the attention and care they provide. Don't hesitate to check it out.
Left my Bull Terrier Mix there for seven days while I traveled. I had acclimated him there by leaving him for day care. Once I pull into the driveway he's already looking forward to entering the facility. Having worked at a dog ranch for a number of years, I knew what my expectations were. Wacky Wags did not disappoint. Everything went smoothly with arranging overnight care. My companion was well cared for and was well rested. I would highly recommend Wacky Wags. If I need daycare or overnight care again for my companion, Wacky Wags will be my choice.
Love the facility and the staff!! I left my 3 babies (dogs) with them. This was the first time ever leaving my kids at a boarding facility. The staff is amazing. They give your pet one on one attention and actually get to know their personalities! They also put up with me and eased all of my worries! I know they are in great hands! Thank you everyone at Wacky Wags for being so Awesome!
This is the only place I trust with my pup. Every time we drop him off, he can't wait to go play with his other pupper friends. Thank you Wacky Wags for providing a safe, fun place for Toby to go to that allows me to not worry while I'm away!
They took great care of our girls!!!
I am one of those people who constantly worries about their pet. It is so nice that people who board their pets here have the ability to check on them with access to cameras. Odie always comes home tired after he stays here. The staff are super nice and very friendly. I would highly recommend this place for boarding and daycare.
Loooooove this place! I had recently adopted my dog when my husband and i has to leave for two days and were unable ti take Stella(my pup). She had been boarded here previously , so naturally it was my first thought. I called and set it up. What blew my mind is that when she and i walked in they knew exactly who she was! Down to knowing the pumpkin I add to her food! On our second visit , she was getting her nails trimmed. Something to know about my Stella is , all 7lbs of her is separation anxiety. So during her mini spa day , The owner held her ever so lovingly in his arms as he gentley trimmed her up. I can not speak highly enough of this place , and will continue to give them my business 💙💙💙💙💙
Gary and his family are great! My Bullmastiff Bear loves it there, and is always wiped out when I bring him home...a tired dog is a happy dog!
Gary was extremely accommodating of our last-minute request when our dog sitter fell through. He clearly cares about all the animals he watches, and he has a great setup at his house. Our two dogs enjoyed their time there and I felt better knowing they were being cared for by a professional!
Gary was so accommodating for our last minute needs for our dog Bali. He kept us updated with photos of how much fun she was having. We could relax and enjoy our trip because we felt our pup was being cared for as if she were home with us. Bali came home happy and exhausted from all the fun she had!
I don't board my dog often so I'm very picky about where he goes. At Paws and Claws, i felt like Rocco was staying with a friend. He has a huge yard to play in and a cozy place to spend the night.
Amazing! The best place to bring your dog for boarding. Very nice and professional owner who you can tell really cares about the animals.
Looks like we have the same person giving us three stars as well as some other pet services and not explaining nor have they used our services... Here is boost from one business owner from another
Wonderful compassionate people
There is only one service we use when we go out of town, and that’s Secret and her Fetch Pet Sitting. Secret has taken amazing care of our two big dogs and cat while we are out of town. We have used her overnight, and up to two weeks at a time. She is very responsible, and helps out not only with pet care, but is more than willing to collect your mail, water your plants etc. She is extremely trustworthy and texts us daily updates, along with pictures if we so desire. Our dogs and cat love Secret, we love Secret, and you will too!
Can't imagine allowing anyone to dog-sit our kids except Secret. Always professional, and on-time. Our dogs love her. Secret almost always sleeps over to care for our special needs cat. Living on 5 acres the dogs can be a handful. I have yet to have any problems with them, and it's very reassuring that Secret has a background in Veterinary Technology. Definitely our go-to pet person.
Secret has a way with animals. Our dog Jeter can be pretty rambunctious, and Secret will hold her palm out to him and he sits down immediately, tail going 100 mph in anticipation of his belly scratch. Secret is reliable and trustworthy. She has been dog sitting for us for years. I highly recommend her.
Secret is a dog whisperer! She was prompt, professional, congenial, and easy to be with. Lucy (our golden retriever) became friends right away. Secret stayed at our house and when we returned it looked as good as we left it. 5 stars from us! Thank you, Secret!
We have hired quite a few pet sitters in the past, and so far SECRET is the very best of them all. She’s very responsible She treated our Puddles and Zeus like her own babies so to speak. They loved her the very moment they met her. She stayed at our house and lovingly gave them TLC. She’s simply the best and I highly recommend her service.
My dogs love Secret. When I leave them with her I know they will be well taken care of and loved.
I had Annie about 3 months prior to contacting Ridgeline. I tried another month alone in training myself before committing to a boarding program. Annie and I were at a standstill in training and reactivity. I gave them a shot and Ridgeside K9 NorCal Training brought me back the same Annie but with fundamentals to mainstream training and bonding by ourselves! Less then Two weeks later she is mostly off leash and strangers are asking me if I’m a dog trainer. Not a turn key program, you will have to work with your dog once they return but the rewards and progress was substantial for us. I personally dealt with Elissa and Rich and feel they are part of her family too now and encourage me to reach out with future issues. 5 stars and hands down. Thanks Ridgeside K9 NorCal Dog Training!
I purchased a detection dog from Ridgeside K9 NorCal Dog Training a few months ago, and I couldn’t be more impressed. With nearly 10 years of experience in the industry, I’ve worked with countless dogs, and I can confidently say that this is one of the best detection dogs I’ve ever had the privilege to work with. The dog's training, drive, and reliability have far exceeded my expectations, making it an invaluable asset in explosive detection for my police department, ensuring safety in our community. Rich and the team at Ridgeside K9 are exceptional. His knowledge of the industry is unmatched, and what truly sets him apart is his genuine kindness and dedication to his craft. It’s clear that quality and helping others take priority over profit, which is rare and deeply appreciated. The care and professionalism that went into every process step was remarkable. Great people, great products, and incredible dogs—what more could you ask for? I highly recommend Ridgeside K9 NorCal Dog Training to anyone looking for world-class dogs and top-notch training. Thank you, Rich, for your outstanding work and dedication to excellence!
Rich at Ridgeside is the absolute best in the business. We had a rescue that was extremely fearful of men including my husband. He was often fearful barking at my daughters and especially my husband who has to leave for his job. We have made a complete 180 with our pup in identifying what the issues are and we built his confidence and his relationship with my husband and daughters. We went from not being sure if he was safe to now having a sweet well behaved dog. This is only after two sessions with Rich, I can't wait to see what our future holds with our new family member. Thank you so much to Rich and the whole incredible team at Ridgeside, hoping to board him there soon.
My boyfriend and I’s dog was trained by Rich at Ridgeside K9 and let me tell you.. it is well worth the investment. Arlo does amazing on and off leash and I feel confident he will be well behaved anywhere I take him. Arlo is neutral toward every person, dog or critter he comes across. He can be in the car with us for hours without complaint and easily goes into his crate whenever it’s time. We love being able to take Arlo on all our adventures, snowmobiling, dirt biking, camping or just on our runs. I have had several dogs that I did not put through training and I was constantly stressed about taking them places and how they would interact with other people and dogs. The peace of mind that comes with having a well trained dog is well worth it. I highly recommend the Ridgeside team for all of your training needs. Whether it’s working on specific issues or wanting a dog that can do it all, Ridgeside has you taken care of.
I brought my 8 month old puppy to Ridgeside for the group classes. I wanted her to be pleasant to be around and to be safe. I knew that I needed training as much as she did. The class atmosphere was non threatening and gentle. My puppy enjoyed the classes and we both progressed weekly. At the end of the sessions she walks beside me on a slack leash and doesn’t try to stop and smell or eat things She stays in place, comes when called and doesn’t rush out of doors ahead of me. We know how to continue working at home and we both enjoy it. I have been encouraged to call Ridgeside if any problems occur. I strongly encourage anyone looking for a place to take their dog for training to check Ridgeside, you won’t disappointed.
We just got our puppy Eddie back from a three week board and train with Tish and Madison. They did an amazing job with him! You can tell they genuinely care about the dogs and their success, going above and beyond to make them happy and comfortable in their home. During this three week period they taught him how to listen, play responsible, relax when he becomes overly excited, and response to so many new and different commands that will make it easier for us to enjoy life with him. They were also super supportive with us teaching, answering questions, and staying in touch, sending numerous pictures and videos everyday with his progress. We are excited to continue working with them to improve on both Eddie and our skills. I would definitely recommend them to anyone else looking for a dog trainer.
Largest, youngest of my pack seemed very compliant of the new exposures and with minimal direction, he performed very obediently! This was a beneficial experience for both of us! I don't follow instructions well and my pup seeing other dogs are not a threat therefore, no threatening behavior from him ! The pinch collar was the perfect connection with each of us involveing positive reinforcement. GREAT REAL WORLD LESSONS OUTSIDE. For private package of 3 I will look forward our last session with confidence and understanding.
Working with Ridgeside K9 was the best investment we’ve made for our pup! My husband and I adopted our pup from the shelter and he’s overall the best boy! However, we struggled for months with recall and leash pulling especially when he’s excited to be around other dogs. Due to his breed being a pitty mix, he’s given a lot less grace when he’s off leash. Going into classes at Ridgeside taught us so much! We worked on a lot of correction and consistency while navigating around other dogs in class. Rich and Elisa really commit to working hands on with each dog and their owners to build lasting skills. We saw noticeable improvement after just a few weeks and in the 6 weeks of group training, our pup Groot has really made strides in his recall and overall behavior. I would 11/10 recommend training here!
If you have a dog that doesn’t mind very well, or keeps you from having family over because they jump on people or constantly bark, or are destructive etc. Or you are afraid someone may leave the door open too long because they may run off, or any other behavioral issues, I highly recommend Ridgeside K9! When Moose first came to live with me he was a year old and full of puppy energy! Never having had any rules or guidance, he was a 75 lb bulldozer, unaware of anything in his path and did whatever he wanted. One time he was chasing a cat towards Highway 99 and I was barely able to get him before he made it to the Highway. That cat wasn’t so lucky and became a smear on the pavement. I knew I had to do something because that could’ve been Moose. I was hesitant because I wasn’t sure how I was going to come up with the money. I spoke to the ladies in the office who advised there were payment plans available through a few different lending programs, so I finally decided enough is enough and put him in the three week board & train program and let me tell you I was not disappointed. I received weekly updates about his progress and pictures! It was always the highlight of my week. The program gave him all of the necessary foundation he needed to understand what was expected of him. At the go home I received all the necessary tools and a lesson on how to manage him at home. For those of you who may think that was where it ended, it did not. I now had to teach Moose that I was now someone who was setting boundaries and expectations for him unlike the whole first year he had spent in my home. First night went great, the second night he started testing everything, and I had to make sure I remained consistent no matter how tired, or how much I didn’t feel like it. When I was unsure about to handle certain situations, I was able to reach out to my update trainer by text and ask questions and they also checked in on us and our progress a week after his go home. Here we are, three weeks later and he is now able to be off leash (with supervision and his e-collar on for back up) outside to go potty and to play with my other dog. Which was something I thought would never be possible because living on Highway 99 just seemed like it was something I didn’t want risk. Thankfully, the trainers at Ridgeside K9 were able to give me that peace of mind and my dog freedom he so desperately wanted and needed in order to run and play. Thank you Rich, Kylie, Elissa, Yuri, and everyone else who helped Moose through his training! I will never be able to thank you enough.
This is long. If you are on the fence and have a dog with behavioral issues - this might be worth a read. In May of 2023 (about 5 months ago) we adopted a mixed breed from the local shelter. The shelter had done what they could with him. They said when he had arrived 6 months earlier as a stray, he was a total menace. Of course, my partner and I fell in love with him instantly. When we got him home, we realized that the heavy cocktail of medications the shelter had him on were making his ADHD and anxiety worse. Our vet helped us slowly ween him off those which was helpful. Off his meds he was a bit calmer, learned quicker, and was less mouthy. But we still had a 14 month old, 80 pound, 70% feral and highly unpredictable dog to figure out. Initially, we used a trainer from the shelter (they were lovely for the initial transition!), but our dog was having big behavioral issues as he decompressed from shelter life, ones that hadn't shown up in the shelter at all. He was territorial and randomly aggressive with people that weren't my partner or myself. We were worried that he was going to bite someone and we would end up having to put him down. In came Ridgeside team, Rich, and Elissa. Thank God! I can't explain to you the incredible work they did with our dog and with us humans. They are clear, patient, and have a wonderfully blunt way about them. They tell you when you're doing something wrong/not helpful and when you're getting it right. Pre, post, and during the training they were available for any questions and even reached out to check in. They sent us pics, vids, and written updates weekly along with posting him on their IG. So I felt like I knew what was happening each step of the way which eased my anxiety. Tank came home being leash, e collar, and muzzle trained. They also built his tolerance for trust, down time, physical touch, and taught him place, down, sit, out, heel, etc. The most subtle change to others but profound to me is now he WANTS to be with me like all the time. He isn't overstimulated by just being in the presence of humans anymore! Our former dog trainer was a wonderful human who discouraged us from doing any board and train, saying that they have had many clients who simply did not benefit or worse, dogs came back traumatized. I am grateful that I went with my gut and chose Ridgeside. It felt like our dog's life depended on it. I'm sure there are many trainers and facilities that aren't anywhere near as amazing as Rich, Elissa, and the Ridgeside team. We plan on continuing 1:1 training sessions through them and boarding our pupper a couple of times a year for continued education and becuse they are the only ones we trust to take care of him while we are away. Thank you so much Rich, Elissa, and the Ridgeside team - in different ways, you have given each of us our lives back.
They are wonderful
The nicest most caring pet sitters in the known univese
They are committed, caring and dependable!
All of our dogs have loved Canine Connection! We have been including Canine Connection classes/training/boarding for the past 15 years. Dr Sarah and staff have helped to get our last puppy to come out of his shell and he shines with confidence now. We have learned so much and are always pleased with the classes and behavior of our dogs. Canine connections staff absolutely love dogs and take such great care of them.
As first-time dog parents, I don’t think I’m overstating the fact that we wouldn’t have made it through puppyhood without Canine Connection!! Within just two weeks of bringing Desi home, Dr. Sarah conducted an in-home consultation, patiently addressing ALL our concerns. We then enrolled Desi in Puppy Kindergarten and initially tried Puppy Social Hour, but since she wasn’t quite ready, we switched to the Shy and Small Dog Social Hour. For about the first six months, Desi would hide under our chairs during playtime and struggled to interact with other dogs. Fast forward 2.5 years, thanks to the positive and caring support from Canine Connection, our once shy and anxious puppy is now the life of the party! She still enjoys daycare once a week, and when we need to board her, we trust that she’s in excellent hands.
I would give 6 stars if possible! I could write an essay on how fabulous Canine Connection is for our furry children. I currently have my second German Shepherd in their loving hands. My first GS was a rescue and so scared. Sarah helped me get him happy and friendly and he loved playing at day care and boarding when I was gone. My second GS came to me as a puppy. I utilized puppy social, kindergarten training, daycare, boarding and grooming services which all contribute to the friendly, happy 100# dog he is today. CC is his second home, and he runs to the gate as soon as he arrives. Facilities are safe and clean, staff is loving, friendly, patient and educated in positive dog training. I think I trust CC more than my own family to care for my sweet fur baby Bohdi. His smile tells me he loves CC!
Canine Connection trainers gave us a solid foundation when we began Puppy Kindergarten. We also participated in Puppy Social Class where we met other wonderful dogs/owners. We made those personal connections because of Canine Connection and have continued weekly walks over the years. In addition to the foundational work, we took several continuing education classes. The trainers are knowledgeable & caring. The classes are personal, informative & very helpful.
Why we love The Canine Connection. Dr. Sarah Richardson knows dogs! This is clear in the training classes she offers at The Canine Connection. Like people, dogs have different personalities. We have three Aussies with very different personalities and needs. Because of the variety of classes offered our dogs have flourished. Indie, our curious one, loved the Cognitive Canine and Hounds Around Town, anxious Eli was able to be with other dogs and have fun in Fungility and Abu, our blind dog, became more confident after attending Shy Dog Socials. Dr. Sarah also has a well-trained knowledgeable staff. Our dogs love them! Finally, understanding training isn’t just training your dog it is really about enhancing your relationship with your dog. This is the greatest benefit for us with our dogs! Thank you Canine Connection!
Lovely people, you will encounter playful dogs greeting ither loving owners when you go for your furry friend. There are a variety if helpful services and my dog seems glad to arrive, and sleepy on the trip home.
Our dog Maeve was treated so well here in daycare and boarding. She had fun with other dogs and also with the staff. The texts we received with photos always reassured us that she was doing well, safe and happy. Would definitely recommend!
Cannot rave enough about this place. We started with taking our energetic German Shepherd Rescue pup to puppy kindergarten there. 3 German Shepherds later, I can say that the classes have changed our relationship w our dogs over the years. We love playcare and boarding also. The staff is so so loving and my dog runs in and never looks back! They teach owners to see the world through the eyes of their dog and it helps SO much. This is my current girl, Surf and her BFF at playcare.
My dog, Nutmeg, has been going to The Canine Connection for six years now for various programs and services. He has enjoyed Doggie Daycare and many training classes. He loved the Small Dog Socials. Dr. Sarah has helped him so much with behavioral issues and training as well. I wholeheartedly recommend The Canine Connection as the BEST in Chico and the Northstate!
We LOVE Canine Connection! We adopted our very first dog - Sadie - just this past April(2024). Sadie is a 90-pound Great Pyrenees mix, and we adopted her from the Butte Humane Society. She's a fantastic dog, and it was a great experience to adopt her from the Butte Humane Society. But Sadie is a very reactive dog - so she would charge after other dogs....and even cars!....on our daily walks. We had NO idea what to do - nothing seemed to work. It got to the point where we could no longer take her out because she would charge after anything that moved - barking, running, chasing, lunging, pulling, just crazy! We started weekly lessons with Dr. Sarah and Anna about a month after we adopted Sadie - and then we started doing doggie day care at Canine Connection too. WOW - what a difference!!!! Dr. Sarah and Anna trained both Sadie and our family about dogs, walking your dog, training your dog, just everything. Within a few weeks, Sadie started to calm down on our walks - and we started to have more and more fun with her! Anna is phenomenal - she really worked intently with Sadie to learn her triggers, and how to calm her. It's like a night and day difference now - so much more fun to take Sadie out on walks! We can't thank Dr. Sarah, Anna and Canine Connection enough - they are INCREDIBLE. Very highly recommended. Sadie LOVES doggie day care there too - she always comes home so happy, so relaxed. We are indebted to everyone there - and Sadie LOVES being there with everyone too.......and absolutely LOVES Anna!!! Thank you so so much for everything you have done for us - and for Sadie - you are the best!!!! Our walks now are fantastic - Sadie is having a blast!
My dogs and I love Sitter for Your Critters! They are always there when we need them to drop in or walk the dogs. I get pictures and a detailed update on how things went. The sitters we’ve had always follow the directions and the dogs love them. I feel comfortable being away when I know Sitter for Your Critters will be coming to play with the pups. These are some of the photos I’ve received ❤️🐾
Sitter For Your Critters is absolutely incredible!! Our community is beyond lucky to have them and I couldn't possibly recommend them enough. I'm a guy who cares extremely deeply about my cats, and cannot attain peace of mind unless they're in good hands while I'm gone. Johnathan is an amazing caretaker, and goes the extra mile and then some each and every time he watches them. I have literally never met another man I'd rather have watch over my cats. The owner Kelly is awesome, she's so sweet and passionate about her business. For years, I had trouble leaving home away from my cats. After I found S4YC, that anxiety is gone and I can rest easy knowing they're happy and in great hands. Thank you so much S4YC!
We have had an amazing experience with sitters for critters with both Kelly and Jonathan! Our animals were all well cared for, my house was kept clean and they provided amazing, thorough updates along with pictures! Very happy, highly recommended and can’t wait to use them again!
Sitter For Your Critters is such a great organization, I can’t recommend them highly enough. They’ve been helping me with my dog for several years now, providing everything from walking & playing, to feeding & medication administration, to cuddling and petting. The Sitters are very well trained and highly competent; my dog works with them eagerly, comfortably and happily. Communication is very good - it’s quick and accurate, and they are very responsive. I feel one hundred percent safe and comfortable with the Sitters in my home and in charge of my dog. I trust Sitter For Your Critters implicitly and without any reservation. I feel so fortunate that they are located in my town. I don’t know what I would have done without them on many occasions and I’m grateful for their support.
We tell everyone we know about Sitter For Your Critters, they are the absolute BEST! We only trust them with our 4 kitties. Not only do they take the best care of our cats but the little things Katie does like empty trash, clean up kibble just make it so nice to come home to. We’ve used them for over 2 years and will book them everytime. Also Katie takes the best pics of them and we love the daily reports.
I've been using Sitters for Your Critters for almost a year now to help me care for my dog during long work days, and I would recommend them to anyone! They are reliable, respond to messages quickly, and after each visit they send photos, a detailed message about what they did with your pet, and sometimes even a video. I just know from the photos of the sitter snuggling my dog that she is in good hands, and it's such a comfort to me to know my girl is being cared for by someone trustworthy! Highly recommend.
Rachel and Jonathan, of Sitter for your Critters shared the care responsibilities for my gregarious Labradoodle over a period of two weeks. From walking him, to teaching him new skills, cleaning up after him, along with his feedings, they kept such good care of him it helped me enjoy my adventure. I even got adorable pics, daily, of my Dood on the walks, yard play, and quiet time with the sitter. The sitter, at each visit, also checked around my home, collected my mail, and watered my plants. Each Sitter for your Critters sitter is amazing. Their kindness and care for my Dood was exemplary! This group was easily the best care I have found for my companion and my home in five years!
We cannot recommend Sitter For Your Critters highly enough! We have had them watching our animals for four trips now and we are NEVER going back to having a friend, neighbor, or family member sit for us. From photos of the pets on every visit to detailed accounts of how the visit went, this company does it all! Cedric is an exceptional person, I am so glad they're watching our pets! You can absolutely rest assured that your home and animals will be in good hands.
We found Sitters for your Critters right as we moved to Chico and used their services regularly for the 7 years we lived there. Owner Kelley Denz and regular sitter Jonathon Greenfield took great care of our two kitties and we always looked forward to seeing Jonathons pro level photos of his visits with them! Just knowing they would be by our property twice a day allowed us to relax and enjoy our times away. The ease of scheduling online and always prompt and friendly communication makes Sitters for your Critters stand out above so many other services. Do yourself a favor and hire these great petsitters!
We have had excellent experiences with Sitter For Your Critter. On our most recent trip, Jonathan took exceptional care of our four cats. I looked forward to getting daily reports and pictures every day. I felt he truly enjoyed our kitties and cared about their well being. I was never concerned about them because I knew Jonathan was taking excellent care of them. Photo cred: Jonathan.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! There is nothing like peace of mind when it comes to our pets and loved ones and that’s why Tylyn will always be my primary choice for my pet sitting needs. My dog Kiona is extremely affectionate and needy for attention and honestly I was a little worried she would be too much to handle but Tylyn is clearly a professional. Less than an hour after drop off I was worried so I sent a message to check in and Tylyn replied with a slew of photos and videos of Kiona living her best farm life. My mind was immediately put to ease seeing Kiona smile, play and cuddle with Tylyn’s daughter. The way Kiona was treated made me feel like she was with family while she was with Tylyn.
The absolute best pet sitter! My dog has the time of his life with Tylyn. She always sends the most adorable photos with photoshoots for the holidays. I highly, highly recommend her services! Tucker gives her four paws up.
They deserve more than 5 stars! My boy Hudson is a moody man who only seems to like certain people. HE LOVES them here & I always know he is getting beyond the best care! He is always so happy to go & I love getting the picture updates!
I cannot recommend Tylyn enough. She has pet sit my Rascal a few times now. She always calls it the hide and seek game and it is a fun challenge for her to find Rascal and share his location with me. This last time I was on vacation and my visiting daughter accidentally left the door open and Rascal escaped. Tylyn did all she could think of and visited my house several times throughout the days to try to rescue Rascal. She was great and communicated everything with me. Rascal did finally after 12 days get trapped and is back in the house and I am confident that it was due to Tylyn’s actions early on that helped Rascal to return. I definitely recommend Tylyn and Pawsome Pet Care and know that when I need a pet sitter Rascal will be in good hands.
Tylyn is the best. Our dog loves her and always has a great time.
Tylyn is a great care provider. Her passion and enthusiasm shines through with each pet she cares for. Anyone that uses her for care will be beyond happy with the care their pet receives.
Hired Tylyn to care for my senior car Missy and she provided excellent care. Tylyn was able to follow special care instructions and administered medication. Would definitely hire again!
Great facility, our dogs are always happy when we board them here and are well taken care of! Very nice people and they have added bathing so the dogs come home nice and clean. Can't say enough great things about this business!
I recently had to leave my dog for a week while traveling to the East Coast, and after trying different solutions like having someone stop by the house or house-sitting, none had quite met my expectations. I was extremely anxious about boarding her, especially when the Park fire broke out on our first night away. However, Terry, the owner of K9 Meridian Resort, was incredibly accessible and reassured me that everything was fine. He eased my worries, and when we picked her up, she was so happy and well taken care of. It almost seemed like she wanted to stay and play some more! I am immensely thankful for Canine Meridian Resort and look forward to having our baby girl stay there again during our future trips, ensuring she has a happy and safe stay while we’re away from home.
Terry and his staff are AMAZING! My family is comforted knowing our dogs are well cared for!
We've brought our energetic and friendly pup here a few times now. He seems to enjoy spending time with the other dogs playing, no complaints from him. He came home happy, healthy and clean. I believe there is a wash service available for longer stays. He had no signs of scuffles with other dogs, despite how exuberant he is to play with others. All the other boarded dogs seem to have a nice temperament, and are quite loved by their families. They seemed to be a happy bunch and no signs of distress at all. I'd venture to say they rather enjoy this play time while owners are away The kennels are very clean and the outdoor area is beautiful, shade is available. There is nice grassy area and the other dogs seemed quite happy with their stay as well. Getting ahold of owner is a bit difficult via phone, because this is also a busy farm utilized for weddings and events. I believe email was best communication for questions. So plan ahead if you have questions or need to contact. The kennel is located at back of property past the main home and horse areas. Drive past the statue of a buck and the driveway will lead you to kennel area Our pup is spoiled and the kids hate having to board him, but they feel good about his stays here and trust the environment. The location is absolutely beautiful and the kennel is clean and peaceful. We will be return patrons for vacations.
Terry and his crew take great care of me when my dad leaves me at Meridian K9 Resort. I love seeing my ranch buddies.
I was worried about leaving my 14yr old big boy at kennel. In the past I've relied on family to care for him. I got home earlier than expected and went to pick him up. Driving up I saw Mr Bear lounging outside with 2 other big dogs. He was just chilling out on the grass catching some rays, I was so relieved to see him so relaxed. Thank you Terry and crew
Terry is THE ABSOLUTE BEST. He has been SO GOOD with our rambunctious adoptee, and managed her special needs so well. He has also been super accommodating when we've had a couple last minute emergencies. And to top it off, he's just a really friendly, funny guy. All the other local places charge about double of his prices, so it's a total no brainer. Customers for life!
I have boarded my dog here for 1-2 week stays while on vacation several times. Each time my dog has been happy there and well cared for. The place is always very clean and the staff are pleasant.
The moment I arrived at this country style kennel, I knew my dogs were going to have lots of doggie things to keep their minds and bodies active instead of confined and going crazy. Terry matches up dog groups with small doors they can go in and out of as they choose, all day long. My dogs have long been in need of this type of activity! The enclosures are expansive for daytime freedom and socialization, then they are kenneled at night in separate enclosures for “rest time”.
Great place! Super friendly staff and my dog loves coming here. I’ve been coming here for the last 5 years and highly recommend.
