He is a committed and experienced sitter who completely understands his role and responsibilities and also how to gently win the confidence and affection of a pet. He is an excellent communicator, and he kept us regularly up to date on our cat's well being--sending us texts and photos at least once/week as we requested. Our cat who is a little afraid of new people, grew fond of him, and we have returned to a very calm, contented cat. Amber is as good a sitter as you will find anywhere! She treated our cats with such love and care, as if they were her own. She left our house in perfect tiptop tidy shape, and made sure to wash all the towels and linens before she left. She even cleaned out our coffee maker and took up our weekly trash without us even mentioning it! Amber is super kind and personable and we welcome her back to sit for us anytime! Ruthee was a fabulous pet sitter for our three cats while we were gone for a month. Prior to the sit, she was consistent and communicative; she even came over early for a meet and greet to learn the routine. During the sit, she took great care of our three cats by playing with them (she made a fun cat toy!), scooping litter, feeding and watering them, and sent us text updates and pictures. We came home to happy fur babies and a clean home. She left the place very tidy which was greatly appreciated! We are so thankful for Ruthee and would recommend her should the opportunity arise. Catherine was a wonderful sitter for our 17 year old cat Zabba. She sent us pictures twice a day and kept us informed about Zabba’s daily activities. We came home to a clean home and would definitely recommend her as a pet/ house sitter. My only concern was that she doesn’t drive and with an older cat, I just prayed that Zabba didn’t need to go to the vet…. And he didn’t 🥰. We will ask her again for sure.

If you are looking for someone to take care of your fur babies and your house while you're away, Daniel is your guy! I had discovered zeewoi just a couple of weeks before I was to leave on vacation and I was not only apprehensive if the website was too good to be true, but also under a real time crunch. I reached out to over 100 local sitters and several possibilities fell through. I was confident I would find the right sitter and when Daniel applied for the sit and I started to text and converse with him, I knew I had found the perfect sitter for my two cats! Daniel was upbeat and positive, articulate and personable, warm and caring, and he asked all the right questions about Lilly and Eli (I hadn't had the time to complete my Welcome Guide, yet!?!). I shared that I had an easy cat and problem cat -- Lilly, who is sweet, social and eats dry food, and Eli who is skittish, was periodically pooping outside the kitty litter box and was eating prescription canned food twice a day mixed with a probiotic and stool firmer. I asked if he thought he was up for the job and he happily said he was. Since he flew all the was from Chicago, I thought the least my husband and I could do was pick him up at the airport. When he arrived, he pulled out his notebook. He patiently walked with me as I reviewed kitty care, showed him around the house, and where he would be sleeping. He immediately picked up Lilly who was excited about meeting her new friend and Eli bugged out and down the stairs to the basement (his favorite hiding place!). We got Daniel connected to the internet, set him up at our dining room table and headed off to airport, leaving our house and kitties in the best of hands. Daniel wanted to make sure I felt comfortable and assured while we were away. He made sure to text with me every other day (he had asked my preference earlier), sent photos of Lilly being her cute self while Eli hid during the day although he gave me assurances that he was eating his food and using the litter box (there were a few accidents, but Daniel never complained about these additional duties). When we returned from our vacation, the house was also spotless and well cared for and Daniel had even washed the sheets for me! It is with utter happiness and complete confidence that I recommend Daniel as a fantastic Sitter. He is trustworthy, responsible, caring, and competent, and you can rest assured that both your house and sweet pets will be watched over and treated with TLC -- and will truly be in the best of hands while you are away!

Heidi was an outstanding cat sitter for my Luna! She was very communicable via calls or texts. She followed all my guidelines for feeding and care of Luna. Luna was very content when I arrived home thanks to Heidi! My home was immaculate when I arrived and she did some snow shoveling. We couldn't have asked for better sitters than Pares and Mark. Since our initial contact, it was straightforward to communicate with Pares. We were lucky enough to get a chance to meet Pares with our dog Luna, and Luna got along with her immediately. During our time away from home, she kept us informed about how both our dog and cat were doing, and they were both cuddling with her since the first day. We got a lot of pictures and knew that they were safe and happy. The apartment was exactly as we had left it when we came back. Pares and Mark even ran the dishwasher and the washing machine for us. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter, and it made our trip very easy knowing they were taken care of so well. We'd have Pares and Mark back to our home without any hesitation.

O would definitely not recommend her ever I paid her 569 for her to come train a reactive dog in hopes she could help her and she told me she could. The session would be one hour for a total of 5 or 6 weeks and I paid her almost 3 months ago. Instead she would not answer text, she would know that I had to take off work to meet with her and there would be times she wouldn't even call or show up it's now the end of Oct the dog ended up taken by animal control and they even rwhomed the dog wofh a bit history. Which was crazy to me, however, I feel like if she had shown up weekly. Maybe the dog would have a chance made me with consistent training even though I did my part the lady I paid to do her part. Didn't when I asked for a refund in order to make it right She said we don't offer refunds. I could train another dog for you. Really after I just lost my dog. You want me to get another one? Also the fact that the classes should have taken six weeks Not four months , the fact that she no called no showed and I had to take time off work and lost money and clients Due to her no call And no showing then when I ask For the two hundred dollars back from what she had not done In my opinion how'd she show Every week For 6 weeks instead of just teaching me to walk my dog on the leash which he did Maybe. We used Mistie's services mostly for our one reactive girl. Essentially just trying to contain her crazy and manage it where we can. It's been a 180 in behavior. No she isn't a perfect angel (yet, we're working on it) but she's so much better. Her self control is so much improved and her grump moments have greatly decreased in frequency and in severity. At this point it's mostly about training us, which is a nice place to be compared to the sort of hopeless confusion that we felt before. Not only would we call Mistie again, we plan on calling her for boarding and any other training we feel like we need done going forward.
At this point the “Pivette” family is now harassing mistie unfortunately. Mistie is to nice and trying to just let it go away but I will stick up for her and tell the entire story. The Pivette family brought mistie 2 dogs that had zero to no training or manners at all. Mistie spent 2 weeks going over training from house training, basic training, manners and much more. These dogs went home 1000% better than they showed up. They were going on off leash pack walks couple times a day. All basic commands and manners were being followed. Upon returning the dogs to the family who had just had a newborn they would not listen to anything mistie had to say about how to keep up on training and continued to let there dogs do as they please. Mistie feeling bad took the dogs for an additional week of board and training $2100 service for free. Once again the dogs behaved fine loved in our home the entire time free to roam as they please. Not a single accident or mess made. Mistie told me several times the issue isn’t the dogs it’s the follow through at home. Mistie went to there home several times to try and help them learn the things taught to their dogs. They had zero interest in changing in any way how they treat their dogs. They then told mistie they were going to rehome on of them. Mistie told them to please let her know where the dog goes so she can continue the training “FOR FREE” to make sure the dog has the best shot at success. They have slandered, lied, and now are having family members do the same. The wife also accused mistie of leaving her dog in a crate for long periods and causing hip problems. One the 3-4 day of the dog being here for a board and train mistie texted them letting them know she didn’t like the way the dogs hips were looking and was going to cutt back on its pack walks as she didn’t want the dog to be in pain. And suggested they take dog to vet to her hips check. (We have all this on text conversation) unfortunately this family thought they could send their bad behaved and no manners dogs to be trained and it would be a MIRACLE where they had to do zero follow up to enforce training. There is unfortunately no magic pill to fix a dog. There is training and constant follow up after you get your dog back. Mistie goes above and beyond for her clients and dogs she trains constantly to the point I get mad at her for doing so much for nothing. But please don’t take my word for it go read the “Pivette” families other reviews on local businesses and you’ll see the type of people they are. Next step will be contacting a attorney for defamation and slander.
I interviewed several training facilities extending from the Idaho Falls area to Boise in various price ranges we decided on Tailored Canine. From initial contact, Mistie, the main trainer and owner was available to personally take our calls and answer any questions we had with the utmost professionalism and respect. After meeting us at our home for inital pickup, Mistie was immediately able to identify our main concern: fear, and gave us an action plan on the spot for the next few weeks. Not only did she send progress pictures and video daily, but also encouraged a meet up to see our girl while she was away and offered hands on training outside of our signed agreement. There is a night and day difference in our girl in just a few weeks. We can take her with us out and about or have people over without worry. I can’t recommend Tailored Canine enough. ~Luna’s Parents
We are absolutely devastated by working with Mistie. She was beyond unprofessional constantly insulting us as people, our home, and our abilities. She promised to solve the potty issues of our dog and failed miserably, twice. Biggest waste of $5k that I've ever spent. Do not hire her unless you're ready for the most unprofessional dog trainer that you've ever met.
Used Mistie to board our 3 dogs when we went on vacation. She was professional and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable leaving my babies. Will definitely bring them back again! She even gave us some behavior tips for our youngest pit. 5 stars!
We did the three week board and train program with Mistie for our two dogs. Mistie was extremely unprofessional and when our dogs came home it felt like they had been left in a kennel for the entire three weeks with very little training. I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed in the "training" provided by Mistie. The specific issues we hired her to help with were not resolved and seem much worse after training (barking at people for our two year old dog and potty training for the younger puppy). On the paperwork and when dropping off the dogs, we specified that they needed to be fed separately and given only their own food. One dog has puppy food, and the other one has adult dog food. When they came home Mistie informed us that she mixed the two foods together and fed that to both dogs "because they liked it." They are a standard poodle and a poodle mix so have sensitive digestive systems and upon returning home, they both had bloody diarrhea which resulted in a $360 vet bill. She claimed that one of our dogs had signs of hip dysplasia and luxating patella so we visited the vet when she returned home. Our vet said that our dog is perfectly healthy and shows no sign of either condition. Based on her behavior, our vet agreed that it seems like she was left in a kennel for the majority of her time at training. In addition, we specifically said we did not want to shorten the name of our dog in any way. Mistie shortened the name of our dog to "Ana" and without consulting us. When we confronted Mistie about this, she responded with "I did that because that's what worked best." However, Kayla groomed our two dogs that went to training and our third dog who was already trained and did a phenomenal job. Kayla is professional and extremely communicative. In addition to all of the issues, Mistie blocked me from her Tailored Canine Facebook page so I am unable to leave a review there. I am very disappointed that I spent $6000 on a dog trainer and my dogs are much worse than they were prior to training.
Best dog trainer around hands down. Negative reviews don’t mention the fact that mistie spent countless extra hours trying to help them gave them additional weeks of free training. Both their dogs were trained and behaving 100% amazing before taking back. Any time mistie tried to offer constructive criticism that the owners needed to change they’re behavior as well to get the most out of their dogs and to curb bad behaviors from their dogs they owners immediately would blow up become offended and not want to take any responsibility or change in any way to help their dogs. They then contacted misite telling her they were rehoming their dog because they can’t handle it. Misite offers to give whoever was taking the dog free continued training to make sure the dog had the best chance of success and they took it as if mistie was being unprofessional and talking bad about them. Their dogs were rarely in a kennel expect to sleep the rest of the time they spent inside misites home. Living with our family. They were great well trained dogs when they were returned to their owners. But if you go look at the rest of the reviews the people left for other businesses you will see a pattern and understand the type of people they are.
Mistie shows nothing but love and dedication to the animals she works with and goes above and beyond her duties to ensure the owners are more than happy with results. Can’t recommend her enough!!

The love and dedication Mistie has for dogs is undeniable! It was so difficult for me to trust someone outside of our family to board and train our dogs, but my worries were quickly put at ease when I saw how kind and competent Mistie was with our pups during our training sessions and how much they adored her when we picked them up from boarding. She's a blessing to her community!
Mistie is by far the best. She is extremely patient and knowledgeable in her work. My favorite is how she works with us owners and helps us to better understand what is actually going on with our fur babies.

Michelle is awesome! She was quick to get back to me about my inquiry and then she came to meet my dogs and get set up as a client for when we would need to do pet sitting in the future. Her paperwork is thorough. She has a calm demeanor that works really well with animals and she is totally willing and able to work with my very old dog who has special mobility needs. When she pet sat my two dogs, she sent tons of updates and everything went great. In fact, she texted the other day to follow up about how my old dog is doing... That was really sweet.
I wouldn’t use anyone else but Michelle. For years I have worried and had bad experiences with other pet sitters but not her. She is a dog whisperer also lol. My dogs see her and go crazy with joy!! I have let her stay at my home because it can be easier for her and the dogs and everything including my dogs and home are so well taken care of. I get regular updates and photos. And my dogs always have so much fun with her. I am pretty sure they like her more than me LOL!! But seriously very affordable for the absolutely amazing service she provides. Michelle has watched my two dogs in my home several times. She is 100% reliable and my dogs adore her. Even my little rescue who can be quite cranky and suspicious cuddles up to sleep next to Michelle at night. We all love her.

Grandma's Here is a WONDERFUL pet sitting service! Since we have a dog who endured trauma before adoption, we have such a hard time finding pet sitters. Our dog requires extra patience and understanding, and we've been amazed at how Michelle has won her over. Michelle treats every animal like her own, showering them with love and attention, and winning over the pets who might usually be in the corner trembling. She spends more time with our animals than traditional pet sitters, petting them, playing with them, and caring for them. She goes above and beyond anything we ask of her. And to give us extra peace of mind, she even sends us pictures of our pets while we are gone. Michelle is amazing! I recommend her services to everyone who asks me for a pet sitter.
I was in the middle of moving houses and had Grandma’s Here Pet Sitting watch my high energy dog and it was absolutely amazing! My neighbor friend referred me to Pet Central upon our move to Idaho. We have an almost 4yo female Bernese Mountain Dog who is scared of her own shadow! Heather is our go-to because she’s so understanding and accommodating! Instead of asking our big girl to jump up on one of the grooming tables, Heather trims her nails on the ground and gives her lots of love so she feels comfortable. We appreciate her kind heart! Nothing but good things to say about Pet Central, they’re the best!
All staff members were lovely, helpful, and fun to visit. My Australian Shepard came out looking great and will feel so much more comfortable with less fur . The groomer even assisted me to the car since my foot was injured, the salon is clean ,fresh, cheerful and light.
My dog Bandit is always so happy after he's all fresh and clean at pet central. We've been going here for a couple of years now and I'm happy with the results every time. Friendly staff also.
First time taking my dog here and will definitely be returning. Savannah did a wonderful job with my pups bath/haircut and was able to trim his nails which he is not a fan of. The place is also extremely nice inside and smells great - doesn’t have that musty wet dog smell at all. Highly recommend!
Absolutely the best grooming my two dogs have ever gotten. I searched Google and read tons of reviews as my back is getting bad so I can’t wash my dogs without getting a back ache for a couple of days. I called Pet Center because of their rave reviews a few weeks ago and spoke with Heather. She was so friendly and answered all my questions and concerns as I have a pitty with terrible long nails (she won’t let me touch them without showing her teeth, so I just haven’t trimmed them in a long time) and I need someone with experience and confidence with this. Well today I dropped them off and Heather and Emily were the sweetest and professional groomers I had the pleasure of meeting. The entire shop is calm, super clean with an extremely friendly vibe. The best part is when you make the appointment they actually assign a specific groomer for your dog so they can build a bond and your dog can build a trust, how amazing and just perfect. When I picked them up I was so happy I made an additional 2 more appointments for them. My dogs have never felt so good and Hazels nails are much shorter and normal again. Heather told me she was good and didn’t show her teeth while getting her nails trimmed, I’m shocked and elated. Thank you Heather and Emily you are most kind!!
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! My Golden retriever named Bruno is terrified of people and extremely timid. He tries to get away before he has to interact with them. But our groomer was so kind and so sweet that he took to her almost immediately. Heather did absolutely amazing with my golden. She explained what she was thinking of doing, what would be most beneficial for him, and she knew exactly how to work with his coat... I am so impressed with it and I could not recommend her enough. She also explained to me what kind of coat he has and the best way to brush him, including what kind of brushes to use. Both me and Bruno are in love with her. The entire place was so clean, you could not see a speck of hair despite it being a groomer. Everyone was absolutely darling and all doted and loved on him and he felt so so safe. Will most definitely be going back sometime soon!
Yogi LOVES coming to Pet Central and he always looks and smells so good. We love the whole staff and how patient they are with an often time howling husky. ❤️🥰 Yogi may look mad but he smells fantastic!

This place is amazing. First when you walk in it seems so clean and just calm and peaceful. A stylist comes to meet you right up front. They take your dog back so gently nicely. It only takes 5 to 10 minutes getting nails trimmed which is so convenient. At last ... dmdmdm psst (The price) Under $20.00. .. mic/phone drop
