We are so thankful to live nearby 4 Pets’ Sake and to have their services available to us! After a few very bad experiences with Rover and dog boarders, we were desperate for an in-house option for our dog — someone professional, reliable, and kind. And thankfully, we found all of that with 4 Pets’ Sake! Each time we’ve contacted them, they’ve been so communicative and thorough — and they seem to understand all the concerns of a pet owner/homeowner, which is a huge relief. We really appreciated their interview process so we (and our pup) could meet the sitter and ensure we were all comfortable with each other. Also, they make scheduling and payment so easy, and their whole system is so modern and efficient. Their online dashboard is great to work with. We were so grateful to them when I went into labor with our baby. They were quick to respond and very flexible, which was such a relief in a very stressful situation. Oh! And we LOVE their email reports with photos after each visit! Such a nice touch that really makes us feel like our dog is being taken care of and loved in our absence. They are definitely our new go-to local dog sitter/walker, and we are so grateful to them! Highly recommend!

I have been using 4 Pet's Sake for a number of years now and their people are great. We have one wonderful woman, Sharon, who is the primary care taker of our cats. She is very reliable and always looks out for their health. If one of our cats is hiding, she always tracks them down to make sure all is OK. When I lived in Virginia I used another service that was not nearly as professional and responsive. These folks will call if they don't hear from you by your expected arrival time. Having 4 Pet's Sake taking care of the cats allows me to have a truly relaxing vacation.

I seriously can't say enough how wonderful everyone at 4 pets sake is. We moved here from CA and were in need of a reputable and reliable pet care service. My 3 kitties love and adore Ruth and everyone else! They make the whole process seamless and are extremely thorough and professional. Kelly is fantastic about getting back to you quickly and answering all your questions via email! They have an incredibly fair rate that covers much more than just the actual pet care! Love being able to go out of town and know that my pets and house are in great hands with 4 pets sake!

Four Pets' Sake is a wonderful service. Carol, our cat sitter, is a saint. We have too many cats, and when we go out of town she cares for them cheerfully and without complaint. She leaves us a day-to-day report on who she sees and their shenanigans. Terry in the office is a gem, very pleasant to talk to and quite efficient. They've been able to serve our needs in an emergency more than once. Making reservations on the website is very convenient. I'd recommended Four Pets' Sake to anyone.

My dog Socks has impeccable boarding care & amazing walks from special people at 4 Pets' Sake! They are attentive to details in my home, and after five years; I am still blown away at how much they care about all aspects of their visit. From pulling in trash cans, to turning on my alarm when I forget to set-it myself. It is absolutely wonderful to know people exist who really care about people & our fur babies! I do not worry about my pet at all when she is in their care. I travel with complete peace of mind. I thank the entire team & recommend them often to friends.

We are so thankful that we found 4 Pet's Sake to take care of our two puppies. The owner, Terri, is awesome to work with and she and Kelly have always come through for us on any last minute requests, no matter how short of notice. Yvonne is our primary dog walker and our puppies LOVE her. She takes very good care of them, with lots of love, walks and romps. They so look forward to her twice daily visits. We get a "report card" every day that tells us how our puppies were feeling, what they did on their walks, etc. We always refer to Yvonne as their second mother. She is the best and we are truly blessed that we found this company and Yvonne.

I have been using 4 Pet's Sake for many many years. I've also had the same sitter almost every time, which is nice because now my cats feel comfortable with her. The sitter also leaves very detailed notes of each visit, which is fun to read when I get back home. I have 7 cats and that's a lot of feeding, scooping and playing, so I think the price is very reasonable too. They are always quick to respond to my requests, even on short notice. I highly recommend them.

This service is the best! They have taken great care of our cats and dogs for years. Last year our dog Ginger had surgery unexpectedly and needed mid-day care because we both work full-time. They took care of her with little notice. We are always confident that our dogs and cat are being well taken care of. They really care about what they do. We can relax knowing our guys are in their care when we can not be there. I highly recommend 4 Pet's Sake. for your pet sitting needs!

I had to travel out of DCA for business and could not leave my Malinois with my mother-in-law-- as she could not handle the type of breed she is. I sought after a kennel somewhat nearby, that was familiar with the breed and knew how to care for her not only physically but mentally as well. I was gone for approximately 4 days. Drop off was smooth, and pick up was arranged for me since I arrived home after hours, and had a 3 hour drive back to PA. They were courteous and timely, and they even bathed her to ensure she had a comfortable ride home with me. Very pleased with how my boarding experience went. Thank you Ridge Kennels!

honestly… the horror story’s i’ve been told about this place from the worker calli is scary. they’ve had dogs die there, she says some workers have no experience with dogs the manager alex does nothing they make it to where you can’t turn down the AC, Calli claims she thinks the owner lance just owns the kennels to get money and he doesn’t care about the dogs or workers. some workers don’t know how to read dog body language she claims they don’t always take the dogs for playtime although you pay for it all she did was stay on her phone most of the shift as well as the rest of the workers she also claims it’s not ADA accessible for opening dog kennels and that it was dumb for them to higher the managers son because he has adhd this place sounds supper un organized i wouldn’t trust my dog there.

Very upset heartbroken and dissatisfied. I boarded my 4 dogs on April 19th through the 27th here at ridge kennels while I was on vacation as I have done in the past prior to a change in management about two years ago.While on vacation I suffered the tragic loss of my precious seven year old yorkie Lolabell. I was contacted on Thursday evening by the owner or manager of the facility telling me he was taking Lola to the ER because earlier in the day she vomited and had a little diarrhea after her lunch and when checked on her again a few hours later she had vomited again and this time saw tinges of blood in her feces so wanted to have her checked out I said fine when asked he assured me that she was ok and it's probably something minor.two hours later I was contacted by the ER telling me she was having seizures and is critically ill and they was working to stabilize her 4 hours later Iwas contacted and told that she had succumbed to what look to be an apparent poisoning of some kind. The manager of the facility never called me back or updated me on Lola's condition As a matter of fact when I returned to the U.S. and picked up my other dogs the owner or Manager was not there to give me any explanations or condolences on the lost of My Precious "Lola" and I feel that was very unprofessional on their part. After picking up my other 3 yorkies earlier that day they started displaying symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea with blood later that evening so I rushed them to the ER to have them checked out that's when I met the doctor who diligently work on Lola trying to save to her to no avail and he asked me what was told to me by the kennel and went on to tell him what was said he then told me that basically the kennel is lying to you about the timeliness of her illness because when she was admitted and had bloodwork done all of her values where off the charts and she was severely dehydrated all indicators of her being sick for more than a day and a half before they brought her In and she could have survived if she was brought in earlier. So please if you do not want to be distraught sadden and utterly heartbroken think twice about having your precious babies boarded here!!! MAUREEN R.

Did not have a good experience, although the facility looks great we were unable to utilize it. My boys were turned away because of barking and being scared. It was their first time in a kennel so they were nervous and not their normal selves. They refused my boys ( I understand safety completely but one is a 1 yr dog that was scared and nervous) we didn’t feel like much effort was made to ease the boys into it. Maybe suggest to come days in advance and get familiar, etc. These are our family and we want them comfortable just like we want their caretakers to feel comfortable as well. Just didn’t appreciate the last minute being turned away we had a trip planned out of state and put us in a bind. I expected more experience and patience from the handlers.

I’ve used this kennel before, however this time I was extremely disappointed. We were not welcomed this time and the new staff is extremely afraid of our friendly dogs. We are going to vacation and planned to board our 4 dogs with ridge kennels however we had to take 1 back home and left to figure out what to do with him because he had a cone on his head due to the doctor now wanting him to scratch his eyes. After leaving out, Tina and was talking negatively to the new guy assuming I walked away. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone else nor will I ever bring my dogs back. Extremely disappointed

Have brought my pup here several times. There are plenty of options for your dog or cats stay. It doesn't cost a ridiculous amount of money to board your pets. They also offer grooming during the stay. The staff is freindly and I have never had any issues at all. They do require certain shots to be up to date as well as a copy of the shot record prior to boarding. There is also a fee for dogs that aren't neutered or spayed.

I really like Ridge Kennels, and more importantly my dogs seem to like it there as well. This is the only place we board our dogs when we are in the Maryland area. Everyone there is nice and they seem to really care about the animals there. The only knock against them is that sometimes it takes several calls to get in contact with someone to make a reservation. Other than that it is a great place for boarding.

We were very satisfied leaving all 5 of our dogs during our vacation. Our dogs seemed to have fun and had plenty of room. Picked them up and they had received a bath and got their nails trimmed. Staff was friendly and kept us up to date on everything.

My fiancé and I used Ridge Kennels for onboarding several times now. They always make sure our two pups are well taken care of. Great and friendly staffs! I can’t recommend them enough.

Odrun is the best and very thorough. She was a new sitter recommended and I was nervous; however, I could not have been more pleased with the level of care provided, including all the little extra's she does. I received daily pics showing how happy my paw babes were and how comfortable they were with Odrun. She really pays attention to detail and I was totally comfortable knowing they were in good hands. 🙏😊

Ms. Brazelton is BOMB!!!-Diggity!!! She knows her dogs! She's very astute regarding proper pet care and training (we have a 3 month old puppy). I love being able to leave her cash or cashapp her for services, and she has a steady base of clients who appreciate her services as well. We have even asked her to board our dog during an upcoming trip. She's great!!! Our dog feels comfortable with her, which makes us comfortable leaving him with her when needed. She is reliable, communicative, trustworthy, and awed6!

A very professional pet sitting service. The owner was very helpful in an emergency situation involving a neighbors pet during the late night hours. She was able to take the animal to the animal emergency care center and treated the animal for several days after release from the emergency care.

We have an indoor/outdoor cat and a couple times a year we go on a weekend trip. C-PUP has always provided great service for our critter and has always been there, even on short notice. They feed our cat, top off or change the water, clean the litter, give some pets and playtime, email us a picture of our cat, and bring our mail and packages inside once a day. They've taken care of our cat when we decided to leave her in the house or outside. They have also kept our garden alive during summer trips by watering for a little extra charge. I would highly recommend C-PUP! We have used their services a couple times a year for the past 5 years or so.

We've been working with C-PUP for dog walking and dog sitting for over a year now. If you are looking for a walker or in-home sitting service, I'll assume that your fur family members are incredibly important to you and you want to make sure they are getting the best care possible. C-PUP provides just that. They are incredibly professional, well-organize, thorough and meticulous when it comes to understanding what your pet needs for care. We have three dogs of various ages, including a senior dog that requires extra-special care and C-PUP is incredibly attentive to all of their different needs. They are wonderfully communicative as well, especially during over-night pet-sitting. Your fur family will be in wonderful hands with C-PUP.

Over the years, all of our cats have been well taken care of by C-Pup. They are a pleasure to work with, trustworthy, and they always keep us posted (text msg and e-mail) on how things are going with our fur babies. All of her staff have been generous, patient, lovely people who treat us (humans and pets) with great care! A detailed report card is left at each visit outlining the activities our dogs performed, their affect, and notes on the overall visit. We have traveled and used C-PUP for home stays and also as a dog walking service. Our dogs have become so familiar with C-PUP staff that it's as if another family member is with them. Wonderful, wonderful people and service. I can't say enough good things about Shannon and C-PUP! I recommend them to anyone and everyone expressing an interest in pet services. C-Pup is fantastic! We had someone stay overnight with our pets while we were gone and she did a great job. Typically when I go away I worry about our pets, but with C-Pup we got frequent updates and I knew they were in good hands. When we arrived home our cats and dogs were well-adjusted and excited to see us. I can't imagine going on vacation and having anyone else stay with our pets. I highly recommend C-Pup.

The team at C-PUP has been taking care of my Golden Retriever, Breeze since we brought her home 4 years ago. While my husband and I worked in full-time jobs during the day, we had multiple scheduled walks for her energy level. During that time, Breeze was so well cared for and loved, just as we would have done if we were there. As I transitioned to full-time work from home, I now call on C-PUP for our overnight sitting needs. When we go out of town, whoever stays with Breeze loves her just as much as we do. They provide detailed notes, pictures/updates and take care of any worries we have while we're away. I would recommend any of their services if you wish for your pet to receive the highest quality of care when you can't do it yourself!

We've been using C-PUP to look after our cats for several years, and we've always had an outstanding experience. We get email updates once or twice while we're away. We arrive home to find a written daily log of feeding, meds, visits, etc. I can recommend them without hesitation.

We contacted Pawwws Aboard to see if they were able/willing to watch a mini pig. Jazmin stated she had never done it but was willing to try. She came to meet him and we all felt comfortable so we booked her for 2 visits a day while we were away. She has fair pricing with multiple ways to pay. She was very communicative while we were away and sent pictures, videos, and updates during each visit. We felt at ease knowing she was there taking care of our pig. Will definitely use Pawwws Aboard again for future trips if she’s available

She is an awesome puppy sitter!! I will definitely be using her the next time my husband and I go on vacation! She sent us videos everyday for updates on our little one and she was always happy and playing. She showed our Frenchie lots of love and attention. I had a pause in my need for a pet sitter during the past year. We just did a camping trip and needed to board our fur babies. Even though we moved further away from Jazmin, I thought of her first. She responded quickly that she had an opening and during our trip she sent pictures of Emma playing with a toy and Lingling playing with the puppy, Beauty. I knew they were in good hands!

I can’t say enough incredible things about Aimee and Steve! We are a military family that moves constantly so it can be hard to find people you trust with your “babies”. We have a 5 month old lab puppy that is still figuring out the world. She is a little timid at first but I loved how understanding both Aimee and Steve are. Daisy has done doggy daycare and they were AMAZING about making sure the class wasn’t too big and the right dogs were matched together. They planned ahead knowing Daisy was coming and had a calm dog paired to slowly integrate her into the pack. Daisy is currently in training and both Aimee and Steve were interested and willing to continue her training while under their supervision! Steve has a very calming approach with the dogs and Daisy really took to him. Aimee has so much patience with not only the dogs but also me! She was willing to answer all of my questions, concerns and never made me feel uneasy. You can tell how much they BOTH love the pets they care for. After having several successful doggy daycare days we opted to board her with them. We received updates and pictures of her “sleepover” with her friends! I knew Daisy was in great hands. They even did an adorable paw print picture that I will cherish forever! I jokingly say that we are now co-parenting together because that’s how amazing they have been with her. I selfishly want to keep them to myself but I also know they deserve all the praise in the world! I don’t consider them a “boarding facility”, more like a 2nd home.

I want to share my incredible experience with Trails End Pet Sitting, LLC. I don't often post recommendations, but I am truly compelled to share how delighted I am with the care they provided for our Guinea pigs, hermit crab, and puppy, Meadow. I stumbled upon them on Google, did my research, and read their reviews on Facebook. I was impressed with what I saw and decided to have them do home visits for the small animals and board Meadow at their Southern St. Mary's location. Being a total helicopter mom, I was initially nervous. But the moment I met Aimee, I knew it would be a great fit. She came to our home, asked questions, and got to know our pets' schedules. Aimee's professionalism and knowledge were evident from the start. When I dropped Meadow off at their boarding facility, I was immediately put at ease. The dog play area was secure, shaded, and well-ventilated to keep the pups comfortable. The grass and turf were well-maintained, demonstrating their dedication to safety and cleanliness. Aimee greeted us warmly and assured us that everything was under control. She even discussed emergency plans for Meadow. Aimee's commitment to our pets' well-being continued throughout Meadow's stay. She was more than willing to take Meadow out for potty breaks whenever needed, even during the night. I received updates from Aimee daily, complete with pictures, videos, and detailed accounts of Meadow's day. Blake, her employee, handled home visits for our small animals and sent us daily pictures and humorous updates that had us laughing each evening. I cannot speak highly enough of Trails End Pet Sitting. Their level of professionalism and care is exceptional. Aimee and her team genuinely care about all animals, big and small. I am incredibly grateful to have found them and will always turn to Trails End for pet sitting needs. The peace of mind they provided while caring for all my fur babies was priceless. We are new to the area and I was so nervous leaving our pups while traveling for Christmas. Alexis was our sitter and she was so helpful, communicative, good with the pups. We came back home and they were incredibly well taken care of. For someone who gets a lot of anxiety about leaving our pups, this service was incredible and so worth it. They were incredibly flexible, allowed us to pick multiple visits and options for the days we were gone. Just incredible and could not recommend more

Trails End has been such a huge help for our family. They are wonderful with our dogs, administering medication and caring for them while we are gone. I am able to relax while on travel or vacation knowing that my dogs are well taken care of. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs to be away from home and rest assured their pets are taken care of.

This is our first time using a pet sitter and we are so pleased! We have 2 cats and 2 dogs and in NC, we had used kennels for the dogs and paid separately for someone to come to our house for the cats. With Trails End, all 4 are taken care of and the cost is less. I love that we can book from a phone and they send photos and updates with each visit. Prior to their first pet visit, they provided a home visit to meet the pets and learn about their care. Whether it’s a one time visit for a long day in DC or a week out of town, they are perfect!

My cat really enjoys the visits from his pet sitter Penny. I honestly think he gets a little disappointed when it's me and my husband coming home from a trip and not his new best friend Penny! I have absolutely no worries at all when I'm away and I know that Penny will be looking after my kitty. I look forward to reading the detailed daily notes that she leaves. Penny @ Trails End has been a HUGE help for us. We have 2 kitties that need special care and medications and Penny has gone above and beyond for them. Joe is an amazing dog walker. He's prompt, professional and affordable. I've been working with him for ~a year and I am compelled to write a review sharing his amazing service. If you are looking for a loyal and reliable dog walker, Joe is your man. My 4 year old 20 pound terrier mix is in love with Joe and looks forward to their 2 walks every week. I am extremely comfortable and secure with Joe having access to my home when I am at work. My pup recently had an upset stomach and had an accident in my home, Joe was quick to alert me and clean things up. I greatly appreciate his kindness, warm personality and genuine love for my dog Doc.

Joe was great with our dog. Setting up the visits and overnights was easy and Joe was very responsive. He kept us updated and helped us out with a last minute visit when our travel was delayed.

I had Googled professional dog walkers the Fall of 2021. Thankfully, WaggnTails Pet Care showed up in my search. Joe immediately responded to my inquiry. We set a day and time for Joe to meet my babies (my two Maltese, Amos and Stella) and for us to discuss the pet services I needed. Amos and Stella took a liking to Joe right away. What was most impressive, is that when Joe came in my house to meet my babies for the first time, he sat down on the floor and bonded with them for some time before he and I even discussed the details of the pet care I needed for Amos and Stella. Wow! Because of COVID, I started out needing care for one day, twice a day each week. With the restrictions having been lifted, I'm in need of care three days a week, twice a day. Joe runs a professional business...he tracks vaccinations and he also does an assessment of pets' likes and dislikes, and their overall needs. I love my fur babies so much and it's important to me that I have the best care possible for them. I found that in Joe and I'm ever so thankful. He is careful, attentive and very likable. Amos and Stella can attest to that.

Joe is wonderful! He walked my dog, Brutus, and did very well with him. Brutus can be a bit rambunctious, but Joe’s calming demeanor eased my dog’s anxieties. Joe is knowledgeable, prompt, professional, and trustworthy - all of which are important when choosing someone to care for your fur-baby. I highly recommend Joe for your dog-walking needs.

Mr. Reeves was very professional, as well as, knowledgeable. He was prompt and courteous. He provided outstanding service, to my dog, Doc. I loved the communication he expressed, with Doc. He was a true lifesaver, for me.

Theresa took care of everything while we were on vacation. I love the well written and hilarious updates each day complete with pictures to show the kids while we were away from our cat. She provides a wonderful and personalized service and took care of trash, cat clean up, mail…. everything. It was so nice to know our cat and house were in good hands. I would absolutely use their services again.

Theresa, of Pets are Family Pet Sitting, and her staff member, Jennifer, provided exceptional service for our 1 year old cat. It was our first time being away from our feral kitty, since she was found abandoned and alone at 5 weeks. From the intake meeting to completion of service, our experience with Pets are Family was extremely professional. Theresa was very patient with my concerns. Her confidence and knowledge was evident. The daily reports and photos while we were away were enormously comforting, but what really proved the level of care provided, was when we returned. We were greeted by a calm, secure and very happy pet; and that says it all! Excellent company!

I wholeheartedly recommend pets are family and Theresa! Theresa has been so fantastic with our elderly cat and our crazy flexible schedule. We have used her for over a year now, and she has always been super professional, kind, and extremely responsive. Pets Are Family is very well run as well. PAF sends daily reports with pictures and details, so that you never have to worry about how your pets are doing. They will even get packages from your porch, water your plants, or get your mail if you need them to. We recently had a family emergency, which had us leaving town with less than 24 hours notice. Theresa not only accommodated us, but when we had to change our plans from one week to two weeks and finally to three weeks out of town, she was so gracious with every change and easily accommodated us. We could not have dealt with our emergency without her! I cannot say enough great things about Theresa and Pets Are Family, we are so lucky to have found them!

We had a family reunion for a week of which we couldn’t bring our dog. I was panicking as I didn’t know what to do. I was online looking at various reviews and came across Pets Are Family pet sitting services. Theresa was wonderful communicating both prior and the week of. She sent out a daily report with photos and an outline of our dog’s day. It made us feel so much better leaving her knowing that she was so well taken care of. Theresa and her team are professional, caring and offer regular and detailed updates of each visit. Plus, they are respectful of your home and privacy, as they have an emphasis on security and safety. I used to take the girls (Niebla and Lexie my two Golden Retrievers), to daycare but after getting repeatedly sick I decided to try pet sitting/walking. I was on the fence about allowing someone in my home, but Theresa changed all that. I am so happy I found her! She loves what she does and it shows. And my girls and I love her! Theresa is the most thoughtful dog walker and cat sitter we have ever worked with. We have two large German shepherds who were struggling to find a new walker they clicked with when we moved. Theresa’s entire approach has kept the dogs calm and comfortable in getting into a new routine. She has them completely under her spell!

Theresa Johnson is a godsend! We’ve typically relied on friends and family to help with our dogs when we travel, along with an unsatisfactory Rover house/dog sitter for a longer trip we took last year. We knew we needed someone more reliable, so we asked our neighbors who they use for their pets and they gave Theresa a glowing recommendation. We can’t say enough positive things about Theresa…she is great with our two Labrador retrievers are we are always at ease when we travel knowing they are with someone who genuinely loves animals (and someone who can handle two large, energetic dogs safely). We receive regular updates with photos, including a very sweet photo collage at the end of our trip. We appreciate that Theresa is a professional and operates her business as such. Scheduling, paying, and communications are all handled via an app which is very convenient and streamlined. Theresa is an all-around pleasure to deal with, and we know our dogs adore her too as evidenced by their tail wags and booty shakes when they see her.

My dog, Sandy, became ill the day I was leaving for an out of town trip. Theresa was very concerned about her wellbeing. When Sandy’s condition hadn’t improved by the next morning, Theresa drove her to the emergency vet. She checked in with me to see how Sandy was doing and even took her medication to the emergency vet the following day. I can’t thank Theresa enough for her assistance and caring during that challenging time. She truly cares about the pets she cares for and treats them like family just as the name of her company states.
