Whenever we travel and are unable to take our dog with us, family members watch him. For our most recent trip, our family was unavailable. My dog is my baby, and I was super nervous to try boarding with someone else. I reached out to Miriam based on her phenomenal reviews. She responded promptly to my inquiry and was very friendly. We did two “trial” daytime daycare visits before overnight boarding. For the actual boarding, My dog had the best week ever!! More importantly, I survived the week as well! Haha! Miriam is amazing! Anytime I texted her for updates she not only responded but sent pictures. Thank you Miriam! Cooper can’t wait to come visit again.

Cozy Doggie House is the first place Zensu has ever stayed for doggy daycare while I went to the beach & the Salvidor Dali museum. Miriam is also the first person, other than me, who has ever groomed him. What a great experience for us because of her excellent care! Very happy with Miriam … she loves your dog as much as you do. She did a great job grooming our poodle with attention to detail. We’ll be boarding our dog with her because she has a cage free, stress free environment and has plenty of room for the dogs to run around in her fenced in space. Happy we found this caregiver.

Updated to add: my rat terrier just came back so happy! We’ve been using Cozy Doggie House for 2 years now and they keep delivering an amazing service. They even renovated the area and dogs are secure and well taken care of. 1000% recommended Miriam is the best. She took care of my rat terrier for over two months and she sent me pictures whenever I needed them. I can’t recommend her enough, she really cares about pets, all her family are dog lovers so she was raised with all their love and she transmits that love and confidence to them. She also give them baths and pamper them! Is such a relief for me, I would have never ever left my dog if it was not with her. You won’t regret it!

I was in a pinch, and Marian helped me out. She seems to have a very good understanding of dog behavior, and I felt comfortable leaving Oscar with her. She also responded promptly whenever I asked for an update. I would definitely recommend Marian and plan to use her services again in the future.

My fiancé and I recently took a trip to Clearwater, FL, and stayed at a beautiful hotel right on the beach with our two beloved fur babies. Our first day out, we decided to leave our dogs in the hotel room. Well, long story short, about an hour later, we received a call from the hotel saying we needed to return due to a noise complaint about our dog barking in the room. After that, we felt our little getaway was ruined, as it was far too hot to take our fur babies anywhere during the day. We were even contemplating going back home. As the owner of Diamond City Digital Marketing, I know how to dig into high-rated businesses. I started looking up dog sitters near me and came across two different options, one being VIP Pets of the Belles. We called and spoke to a lovely woman named Petra, discussing our concerns, certifications, and everything in between. We felt pretty confident, so we gave them a chance and went to take a look at the area where our fur babies would stay. We saw how our dogs interacted with Petra, and vice versa. Mind you, our fur babies have NEVER been to a pet sitter—they are always with us! We felt so great about everything that we decided to take a chance and leave them with Petra for just a couple of hours. From there, we have built such a great relationship! Petra truly is an amazing woman. The way she cares for your babies is so comforting. Anytime we go to Clearwater, we will be going with Petra, and if she's booked, we will at least stop by to say hi! I cannot give Petra enough praise. If you're looking for a sitter and are wondering if the pet sitting route is the right one, it absolutely is! As long as you have your baby in Petra's hands! While in the area for an extended visit, we needed to travel home for a few days. Not knowing anyone in the area, we had to make a tough decision. We researched multiple commercial boarding facilities, plus a few people on Rover. Then, I found Petra and VIP Pets of the Belles. It didn’t take long during the vetting process to decide we wanted Petra to take care of our boy. She may be a little more expensive but she’s worth it. We were able to leave our boy with her exclusively and have complete peace and comfort knowing he would be well taken care of. She also stayed in contact with photos and updates making it the best experience possible. We highly recommend her and will definitely use her again, if the need arises! I called Petra about caring for our brand new kitten while we went out of town. She responded to me right away. She set up a free consolation for the next day. I was so pleased when I met her. She was very very friendly, easy to talk to and mature. She took notes on everything and was very sweet to our kitten. When the time came for us to go out of town we felt assured he was in good care. Petra came every day we were gone. She took photos of our kitten and sent text messages as well. We had great peice of mind knowing he was so well cared for. She brought him a new toy and we can by the photos he was having a blast. We will be using VIP Pet Service again and again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone seeking pet care.

My sweet highly-sensitive rescue kitty Phoebe had never been left overnight since I rescued her ten years ago when I found out that I needed to be out of town for ten days. To say I was over-protective of my little fur-ball is an understatement. I reluctantly researched local pet-sitters, and made an appointment with Petra Taylor, owner of VIP Pets of the Belles, to come to my home to discuss her caring for Phoebe in my absence. I was immediately struck by her warmth and caring, as well as her total professionalism. She took detailed notes and we agreed she would come in twice a day to spend a half-hour each visit with Phoebe, feeding and "loving her up." Petra came in morning and evening, exactly as scheduled, checked in by text, and upon leaving would send me little notes and a few photos that Phoebe was doing just fine. On one occasion, she even sent me a short video of her purring contentedly, assuring me she was eating well and just fine. Every two or so days, I would call her by phone and she further assured me that all was well. I am SO GRATEFUL that I have found a wonderful loving care-giver for my kitty. Petra has been walking our English Springer Spaniel all winter. “Gronk” loves her and knows when she’s coming. He’s a rescue and quite a handful. Thanks Petra, you’re the best!

I have been a customer of Bark Place Dog Hotel for 4 years- I trust Susan and my dog is just as happy to see her at drop off as when I pick him up to go home- he loves Bark Place! I’m comforted knowing my dog is safe and sound, happy and spoiled while I’m away. Susan is accommodating with schedule changes (work trips go like that sometimes!) and easy to contact.

Susan is the BEST groomer ever! She specializes in Laberdoodles but has an eye for making any cut look FABULOUS on your dog. She is kind and nice to the dogs and they love her. Her hotel is run with her love of dogs. Your dog will feel like they too are on vacation and want to come back. My dog can't wait to go to BARK PLACE! I travel back to see her even though I have moved away because she is the only one that does a perfect cut. LOVE LOVE LOVE💖

Petco was booked, so I called to book a grooming appointment for my big cuddly pitbull. The receptionist said they don't accept pitbulls, then rudely hung up on me. Their loss, everyone at petco knows her by name and can't wait to see her each week. This place was closer to home, I normally try to support locally owned businesses, but this one doesn't seem to want my money. This is my dog, she doesn't know why some people hate her, and neither do I.

I've been taking my two dogs to Bark Place for grooming for over a year. I've always been very happy with their services. She has always treated my dogs with love & care. One of my dogs is afraid of most people but loves Susan.

It is AWESOME! It looks just like a bed and breakfast except for doggies. Susn the owner is so nice n really pampers every dog there! If your dog is new she makes sure your little one is made comfortable and secure! The inside is SO nice and the backyard is so awesome. If your best friend doesn't like to sleep in a crate they can hang out in the doggie living room! Just bring his food...treats...something that smells like u if they r there for boarding. If your pet is on medication or special needs that's no problem. You will know right away how much Susan loves animals! The 1st time Rudy my 3 yr old cocker spaniel went there for doggie day care n 1 night he just grabbed one of the many toys n took off to join the others playing in the back yard. I am going out of town for a week n I can rest assured he will have the time of his life. He forgot I was even there! And her prices r cheaper than anyone else in the Largo/ and surrounding area! The entire place is so quaint n even on a cobblestone street. I give 10 stars if the best is 5! She has no idea I'm writing this. Had to share such a wonderful place!

I had such high hopes for this place. I made and appointment and drove 30 minutes to keep it. Unfortunately, I was let down every step of the way. First of all, I told her (Susan?) how I wanted my Maltese's hair cut, but when I picked him up it was way longer. She said I could always take off more, but after driving around waiting, why would I want to wait again? That brings me to the second issue. There's no waiting room. It's a cramped, overrun, loud environment that I wouldn't recommend for nervous dogs (or people prone to headaches). Lastly, when I picked up my dog, his butt wasn't trimmed and neither was his face. This is common sense. I didn't notice because of the overwhelming stress of the environment, but once I got into my car, I did, so I took him back up there. She acted like it was a special request to have the face (whiskers and face) trimmed up. She did a quick, shoddy job with gaps. I should've asked for a refund.

We used the hotel services for our dog Jack for a week. He loved it. Better than being confined to a small jail, he ran around with other dogs and played with the owner Susan.

I just went for grooming. Susan was super friendly and accommodating. Prices were fair and my pup came home happy and clean.

Our small dog did very well staying here several times. Also had her groomed 1st to see how she adjusted. Very friendly atmosphere, like home.

Bruce’s home away from home! When we lost our longtime pet sitter, we had to scramble to find somewhere else for our little pug mix to go. We tried several pet sitters and services and it was always a big hassle to try and work out scheduling and fluctuating rates. I’m so glad to have found Tiny Paws when I started searching for other alternatives. Aries gives the attention and care on par with any sitter we’ve ever had, maybe even more! The flexibility she offers is amazing and her rates are more than fair. Bruce absolutely loves it there and is comfortable with the other dogs as they are all similar in size. We have used Tiny Paws for overnight stays as well as just individual days. Aries is communicative and always sends pictures and updates. So thankful for Tiny Paws and highly recommend it!

If you are looking for the perfect place to drop off your pup look no further. Aries (the owner) is a literal angel. She cares so deeply for all the dogs there. We routinely use Aries for day care and boarding when we are out of town. She is throughly communicative with daily pictures and texts. I never have to worry when Lucy is with her. Lucy has grown so attached to Aries and we would never trust another person with our dog.

I have never been to Tiny Paws Doggy Daycare. My goodness, I live 3,000 miles away. But I have known the owner, Aries, for over 20 years. I have trusted her every minute of that time. She has always been so good with pups that EVEN I ask her for advice, and I used to train Rottweilers and Entlebuchers. You will trust her. I promise. She is proof that God exists.

Just started taking my 5yr old frenchie here part time for socializing and fun time. She loves it! It is all small dogs which is great. Aries, the owner, is very careful introducing new dogs. I haven't boarded my pup there yet but I will. I'm very impressed with the cleanliness . The rates are very reasonable and Aries clearly loves all the dogs.

We were visiting Clearwater and wanted a fun and safe place to bring our three pups to while we went on some adventures. The owner, Aeries was fantastic. It was obvious from my first phone call with her that she puts her heart and soul into the business. She made sure that all of my pups; including my special needs senior were comfortable and well taken care of. She sent us pictures throughout the day and let us know how they were doing. I wholeheartedly recommend Tiny Paws Doggy Daycare, and without a doubt, we will be returning to see her on our next visit.

If you are looking for a place to board or just for the day Tiny Paws is the place to choose. Aries was very caring, loving and genuinely passionate with all the dogs & with our dog. She sent us pictures and texts regularly to update us on how she was doing because this was our first time boarding her since we got her. She spent 3 nights at Tiny Paws, full time, while we were on vacation. I know she was well taken care of because when I picked her up she was happy & wagging her tail. Highly recommend!

Pete did an amazing job in caring for our 3 dogs, each with different personalities and needs. The love and affection he showed each one was amazing. We were so lucky to have our fur babies in Pete's wonderful care for 3+ years. He became a trusted friend and guardian to our entire family!

We have had Pete helping us care for our two fur-babies for over a year. He has been very prompt, caring and attentive to their needs while in his care. They are very independent cats who enjoy their own company but love to see him and spend some time playing 'chase the feather' and such! I have never used a pet sitter before and wasn't sure if it was worth it. Well I fund out it was well worth every penny, Pete is great with my cat Spike, who is very reluctant to let anyone into his personal space. Not only was he able to befriend Spike, but was able to spend time playing with him and giving him a little affection. The other nice thing is Pete checks over the house and will bring in the mail, so he also gives your empty house the look that someone is home. When i came home, Spike wasn't stressed out and he acted like I never left. Will definitely use Pete again.

Dear Jennifer, I'm sitting here realizing that less than two weeks post knee replacement surgery, I'm in no shape to travel. Seems like just a short time ago you were starting to become acquainted with pet sitting, and as I recall, Hank was the first baby you took on full time. (Hank is now almost 11!) Of course Jesse and Wyatt got the advantage, too, because they, were Hankie’s big brothers. They too, got your snuggles, attention, and play time, daily as I went back to work teaching school after getting Hank as four month old rescue pup over Christmas vacation. That job was supposed to last until summer. Haha. It went on to include the next full school year, and lots of week long vacations for all our family’s dogs, as well as our own. We just couldn't end a good thing until you moved to Florida! And look at you now! I'm pretty sure that my three amigos gave you, in one experience , the wide range of opportunities you needed for your dog career, each having his own personality and idiosyncrasies. Wyatt, the stubborn little wiggle butt, Jesse the escape artist from the small space in the corner where the fences didn't meet in the backyard, and Hank your over the top, loud mouth, energy packed, food obsessed, smiley faced, all boy pup. As an ABC certified dog trainer, I was also able to share with you so many tricks of the trade and give you access to some of my trainer acquaintances, to not only make dealing with my dogs a little easier, but also provide you information that I feel sure you’ve have been able to pass on to your clients. Yes, we provided your crash course in dog handling. You learned so much so fast! Baptism by fire! And wow, how you grew! ! We all came to love you, Jennifer, and then your sweet Bella, so very much. I loved having her stay with us while you got settled in Florida. Of course we hoped you wouldn’t like it, and come back to us! But, Florida is lucky to have you, and lucky to have Posh by the Lucky Puppies. You will always be part of our family and we wish you the very best in your new adventure. You come HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We recently had Lola come into our lives a beautiful mini cockapoo. We love going to Dunedin and drove by Posh Doggie Day Care and saw the beautiful pink building. We checked on availability the next day and the minute we talked with Jennifer the owner we knew we were so lucky to find such a great place for Lola. She can't wait to get there & play with her friends. She jumps out of the car and blends right in with her pack. What a dream come true.

I contacted Jen at Posh by the Lucky Puppies when we got our new puppy, Sadie, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, in the fall. Jen asked me to come for a meet and greet, and I could tell that she's very selective about the dogs she takes into her daycare. Sadie LOVES going there. She started out at 2 days a week and is now going 3 days. We had no idea when she was 12 weeks old that just a few weeks later she would start to show signs of some neurological issues common to the breed. She's become our special needs puppy, and we are so very happy that she's at Posh and gets the special attention she needs and would never get at a "big box" daycare. We know Jen treats her and watches over her as if she's her own puppy, and Sadie adores her! I highly recommend Posh!

My husband and I have been taking our mini goldendoodle Louie to Posh by Lucky Puppies for almost two years and could not be happier. Jen and her team are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our Louie settled in immediately. When we pick him up at the end of the day, he is exhausted and cannot wait until his next visit. We can tell he is comfortable there, feels safe and has made great friends. The staff organizes a variety of activities, playtime and even birthday parties to ensure the dogs have a fun-filled day. Louie had the most fabulous birthday party!! He shared cake with his friends and had a special treat bag for all his friends to take home as part of his birthday celebration. We took our golden retriever, Riley, there for the first time this week. When we spoke with the staff on the phone, we were told that we could tour the inside since it was our first visit to their shop. When we arrived, we were not even allowed inside the building not even the waiting area. We were not asked to show proof of vaccinations which seemed odd. The groomer did a good job on her tail and "butt feathers" but her ears we not done to what we asked and very uneven. During our initial phone call we were also told that the price would be $70 for the groom but at the end of the visit it was $90 which is reasonable but wish they were more honest over the phone. Later that evening, Riley seemed off. Very afraid and not in a pleasant mood at all. We do understand that taking your pet to a groom shop can be stressful but this was not her first time getting groomed. She even seemed a bit lethargic not wanting to be touch. I called my mom who owns her own grooming shop on the east coast and she thought all of this was a bit off. I think we will stick to mobile grooming so we can be with Riley the next time.

Never again. My first red flag should have been when the door was locked and I wasn’t allowed to go in. I had to go through their drive way to drop my Yorkie guy off. Then the person who took him took off his collar to carry him in. WAY too much room for error. I was asked what kind of groom I wanted. I said I wanted a “nice little boy” groom for him…about half as long as he was. I pointed out some dirt like stuff on the top of his head. I was told it looked like “flea dirt” and if he had fleas he would be given a flea bath. I’ve never seen a flea on him, my other dog or in my house. When I picked him up I could tell that his face didn’t look even. I paid and drove off (have to go through the drive way again). I didn’t get very far away and started to rub his head and felt the “flea dirt” was still there!!! I called to see if he had even had a bath and I was told yes. I asked if he had fleas and I was told no. By now I can see that this was a SUPER bad groom. Uneven and choppy. I told the person on the phone I was very disappointed and I wouldn’t be back. My friend who referred me called them to voice her disappointment which prompted a call to me. I mentioned the “flea dirt”. Now I was told he DID have fleas and was given a flea bath but I wasn’t charged for it. I don’t believe that for a second because I got a call to ask if his teeth could be scaled. I was asked to bring him back on a week day so it could be fixed. I work and that is why I scheduled a weekend appointment. I was given excuses as to why the groom was so choppy. One being that my dog’s hair was uneven to begin with and that’s why it was hard to get it even. I’m not a groomer but I know that’s not how that works. AVOID AND BEWARE.

I love this “resort”. The staff absolutely love the animals and they take such great care of them. My Penny is a rescue, cute as can be but very scared and is extremely attached to me. I like to travel often and this is the place I always check penny into. 😊 they communicate well, pick up/drop off is a breeze, they work miracles because they are always able to trim her nails, something I can’t even do! ❤️ The place I feel she is safe, cared for, and really loved by the staff.

I love VIP!! They are thoughtful and caring! I drive all the way from Tampa to get my dogs groomed there, both Standard Poodles, even taking extra loving care of my older black standard who was recently diagnosed with cancer. I will not take my dogs elsewhere! They are always happy when I drop off and pick them up! They do a fantastic job and you can tell they honestly loves each fur soul that walks through the door and we feel like a part of the family!

I like taking my dog there for his grooming bc it’s close to home, quick and affordable BUT if my dog comes out of there again with an open gash on his paw one more time I will turn into a Karen. There’s no reason why he should be bleeding when he was just there for his nails only. IF YOU DON’T LIKE YOUR JOB THEN QUIT BUT DON’T TAKE IT OUT ON MY BABY. IT’S HAPPENED TWICE. I didn’t say anything but better believe I will next time.

Picked up my dog in the worse condition. They stated he ran into a fence so hard. Clearly tried to cover up that he was attacked by a dog. The wounds and scratches are dog puncture wounds. They never called me. Stated the VET was closed for after hours. Didn't call emergency VET service for him. I went to pick him up and saw the deep wounds and requested they get him Veterinary care. Honestly would have come further a long than covering it up. I'm so distraught and currently at my Personal VET to confirm my story. He is writing me a letter and confirming it's not a blunt trauma from a fence.

They always take great care of our five dogs, and are very accommodating schedule wise..

This place is great. Our first time and we will go back. Usually Abby and Scooter come home from the groomer stressed out. Not this time. They looked so wonderful and both got different cuts than they normally do. Price was perfect and drop off / pick-up were a breeze.

My dog is very uncomfortable away from home but seemed to really be happy with her visit to the spa as they were extremely nice to her since Aylla is are baby we are very thankful to the entire staff.

We will never use this place again. One of our dogs came back with Kennel cough, despite being vaccinated. Our other dog came back with trauma to his eye resulting in swelling and a large amount of blood vessels to burst, It got worse than the pics attached & took over a week to clear. The staff was rude. I contacted the owner immediately and have still not received a response. Terrible experience!

Laurie watched our dogs for us when we went on vacation. Her services are very reasonable, and she goes the extra mile to make sure they are happy and well cared for! It’s very clear that she loves animals!!! My dogs love her, and I feel very confident about leaving them with her whenever we go away. Thank you Laurie!! 🐶❤️

This is a fantastic, affordable service! My dogs were so relaxed after their massages. Laurie arrived as scheduled, made instant friends with my two dogs, and demonstrated that she was very knowledgeable. I will have her back for more massages and pet sitting. I completely trust her with my dogs.

Laurie is a life saver.. There aren't enough words!! She will treat your pet as if it's her own. She is just amazing and her services are second to none!!! So glad I found her- Sugar my 160 lb timid rescue is as well!!! She absolutely loves her!!!! And is thrilled when she arrives for massage time!!!

My wife and I were planning a trip out of town and decided to call Laurie for the pet boarding service for our Airi. Laurie was very responsive and helpful all the time, it was the first time that our Shiba Inu slept outside our house and Laurie took good care of her :), we really liked that Laurie kept us updated with pictures. The service was very convenient, professional and really good value. Fully recommended.

I had a kitten in my wall that we couldn’t get out. I posted this on Nextdoor and Laurie responded. David came over immediately and assessed the situation. He was able to remove the kitten from an inner wall, and the hole he created was inside my cabinets, so at least it wasn’t visible. Laurie and David adopted this tiny baby, and plan to trap momma to get her off the streets. Thank you so much for saving this little life!!

Olga took great care of our dog and cat while we were gone. I could tell from the daily pictures she sent that they both were very comfortable with her. Very trustworthy, good communicator, and has a personality that animals love.

Olga is awesome and is extremely professional! She sends regular picture updates during her stay at our house, and she was able to take care of our four dogs, including two small puppies, with no problem. She also easily and diligently followed instructions on their high-maintenance diets and routines. She even accommodated us last minute when our trip got extended by changing her schedule around our needs. I highly recommend Olga and will be using her for future pet sitting!!

I use Beach Buddies for sporadic walks when we are gone for too long for our puppy to be in her crate. Misty usually walks her. I get updates about the walk and usually a picture. Scheduling is very easy and there has been availability each day. They definitely love dogs and I would definitely recommend.

Josh was amazing. He is so kind and caring. He normally doesn't do too many cats but he treated ours perfectly. She has a slight hip injury that keeps her from cleaning and now she is as clean as can be. Plus he is the best price around. A true value. This is not a fancy spa but a functional grooming location that gets the job done right, and that's what we needed. I highly recommend him!

Took my two cats for grooming. Josh was very responsive and took care of my boys promptly in an emergency. I really appreciate how much he takes the animals feelings into consideration when he does his approach . He is also very thorough and detail oriented. Highly recommended.

Terrible service would never take my dogs here again if it was the last groomer on earth. Literally THE MOST BIZARRE experience you can imagine. Show up to drop my dogs off, groomer is just opening for the day, and not even 2 minutes after being inside the owners mother is outside yelling at him that she has to leave (she shouldn't matter) and is in a rush. Groomer tells me the dogs will be done in 2-3 hours. My wife comes to pickup the dogs, and nobody even sees or acknowledges she is there EXCEPT for our dogs who were barking wanting to be let's out of the crate because they see their mom. After waiting 20 minutes, she just goes in the back and takes our dog out the crate so he doesn't hurt himself since the groomer was busy with our other dog and ignoring the world /business around him. He then comes out and acts like my wife stole our own dog, and rips our dogs leash out of her hands, very aggressively jerking our dog by his collar (there was blood from this) saying he isn't ready she needs to come back in thirty minutes. (We should have called the cops at this point and took our dogs back) 45 minutes later she comes back and DOGS STILL ARENT READY. Except this time the owners nasty mother was behind the counter. She didn't acknowledge my wife or anything , so my wife again went and opened the door to the back where the dogs are and the owners mom calls her every bad name in the book. Says she's a narcissist and can't just take what she thinks is hers, along with other profane vulgar insulting language. My wife calls me in tears and I tell her to call the police and demand our dogs back. She goes back into the store and the owner is there, HE DOESNT EVEN APOLOGIZE OR ANYTHING AND THE DOGS STILL WERE NOT DONE. (This was after almost 6 hours at this point, he said 2-3 initially) NEVR AGAIN. He's VERY lucky it wasn't me picking them up, or that I never come across these people again
