Carole and Ron are excellent cat-sitters! They took very good care of my cat Lola and of my house. I came home to a happy cat and a very clean and tidy house. They sent me pictures of Lola and kept me updated, so that I had a very relaxed holiday. We are thoroughly pleased with and impressed by Daniel's kind, generous, and careful care of our cat and our house. He is a committed and experienced sitter who completely understands his role and responsibilities and also how to gently win the confidence and affection of a pet. He is an excellent communicator, and he kept us regularly up to date on our cat's well being--sending us texts and photos at least once/week as we requested. Our cat who is a little afraid of new people, grew fond of him, and we have returned to a very calm, contented cat. Susan and Miranda are amazing! I've had the pleasure of working with many sitters and they are truly exceptional. They were great at keeping in touch, sent lots of updates, asked good questions, really bonded with the cats, clearly very experienced working with animals and understanding their needs, and generally lovely to deal with. They were really patient putting up with a whole bunch of deliveries and even assembled a spare bed! They also left the place spotless with clean sheets on the bed. I'm pretty sure the cats loved Susan and Miranda more than us by the end of their stay! I'd highly recommend them to anyone and would love to have them stay again any time.

I highly recommend Daniel as a pet sitter and house sitter! He took care of Pipa for over three months this winter and did an outstanding job. From the first day, it was clear that he had a genuine love for animals and a great deal of experience with pets. He was very attentive to his needs and always made sure he was comfortable, well-fed, and had plenty of playtime. In addition to his pet-sitting duties, Daniel also went above and beyond by processing my postal mail and keeping the house well-organized. He was very responsible and reliable, always arriving on communicating, putting the bins out, and watering the plants on time, and keeping me updated with photos and messages. I felt completely at ease knowing that my cat was in such good hands and that my home was well-cared for while I was away. When I returned from my trip, Pipa was happy, healthy, and well-adjusted, thanks to Daniel's excellent care. This was the second time Cung sat for us and once again he was amazing! Cung was great with our cat, giving him lots of love and attention. Our cat was so comfortable he snuggled up with Cung frequently, which he doesn’t always do with strangers. We got daily updates and pictures. When we returned we could tell our cat was well taken care of. Cung was so organized and clean, as well. Our apartment was spotless when we returned. That’s always nice after coming home from vacation. You should definitely have Cung sit for you! One of the top sitters on this site.

We can not exaggerate the care and love Juliet and Laurent gave to our cat, Piero, during his the last few weeks of life. While we left for our trip thinking he merely had a bladder infection, his symptoms turned for the worse a weeks into their sit and later revealed he had cancer. No one would wish their sitter to need to hospice their cat but Juliet and Laurent showed such compassion for Piero and volunteered to be with him when we made the decision to put him down. It was an emotional time for all of us and we will be forever grateful to our two caring cat and house sitters. We have had many fantastic housesitters through zeewoi but Juliet and Laurent top the list. Their professionalism, constant communication and compassion were exceptional. Should you have the opportunity to have them in your home, do not hesitate to book them, you will have no regrets. We do, however, regret that they had such a short time with Piero and had to experience such a painful event.

If Cung ever applies to your post for a house or pet sit, I strongly encourage you to jump at the offer. You will not be disappointed. Cung is among the top (if not the top) sitter I’ve ever had and I’ve been on this site for years. Primarily, Cung is very organized. In the weeks and days leading up to the sit, Cung kept me abreast of his plans and status. I felt very comfortable in the days leading up to the sit because I knew the plan we made to exchange the keys and walk him through the instructions would work as planned. Second, Cung really cares. When he got to my apartment after what I assume was a long day of traveling, I explained the care instructions and he was very attentive and cared about the details - asking very specific questions on how to care for my cat and apartment. I had some pretty specific rules about how to feed my cat and take care of him and Cung followed those exactly. Third, Cung makes you feel comfortable while you are away. I got daily or twice daily updates about my cat. I got pictures which made me feel like my cat was having a good time. My cat came out within an hour of me being away - very fast for my cat as he is shy. Cung must have a calming energy towards animals. Cung was also very responsive when I reached out first - replying within 5 minutes. I really appreciated that. My cat threw up at one point and Cung answered all of my questions to assess whether my cat was sick or had just eaten too fast. Fourth, Cung will take good care of your apartment/house. I came back to a SPOTLESS apartment. The sheets were washed and folded on my bed. The towels were washed. The apartment had been vacuumed. The kitchen was clean. The dishwasher had been run. Everything was in its place when I returned. Honestly, cleaner than when I left it which is difficult since I am a very clean person. Cung also respects your property. I have an extensive computer setup that he used for work and he was very respectful of that equipment. He asked if he could use it beforehand, which was incredibly polite since he could have used it and I wouldn’t have known. In sum. You need to jump at the opportunity if Cung offers to sit for you. I came home to a very happy cat. Hope he will sit for me again sometime!

Tonya was great and filled in after our other sitter had to cancel. She was very self sufficient and navigated acclimating herself to everything since she arrived after we left. She gave thoughtful updates on my cat and I could tell she really enjoyed her, so that means the world to me! She left the place immaculate and we will certainly have Tonya back!

Kristine was wonderful again as our local sitter from just down the street. The boys take to her like she is their best friend whenever she comes to sit with them. She sent us photos of them playing, relaxing, drinking water and eating so we knew they were well taken care of. The house and the cats were in excellent shape and excellent hands while we were away. There's a reason it's called Happy Dog Acres! My pup jumps out of the car to go see her friends and has an awesome time every time we bring her! Kelly & the girls take great care of her...not a single worry when she's there!!
I have two very energetic German shorthair pointers. One with Addison disease, the other is still recovering from a traumatic injury approx 1 yr ago. (Severed achilles tendon and repair) she has some pretty bad separation anxiety. However, with the love and care of the staff at happy dog acres they both were happy healthy upon pickup. It was our first good kennel experience. We will definitely be going back! They helped ease my anxiety as we were going out of state by sending photos of them playing in the yard! Fabulous job all around!

My boy Luke loves spending time at Happy dog acres, even if it's for the day or a night or two. He has a lot of room to run and my who is a coonhound definitely needs it. Kelly and the girls are absolutely wonderful with all the dogs and keep them very safe.
Kelly and James are wonderful! Very knowledgeable and truly love the dogs in their care. Their staff are well trained and professional. The dogs have a lot of room to play, and the training is the best we've seen. We wouldn't consider taking our dogs anywhere else. Highly recommend!!
The owner seemed nice but there are a lot of issues with this daycare/kennel. Firstly when I arrived to drop off my dog to do a short 2 hour trial, I was told to wait outside in my car. No one is allowed in the buildings, and you don’t even know what building your dog will be in. It looks like a house on the property and then a big barn, but it’s unclear what type of set up is inside. I understand if they don’t want dogs to get upset with strangers coming and going, but there should be an area customers can go in to drop off without other dogs seeing you. I was very uneasy about not knowing what the set up was like inside. And having to wait outside. The couple people that were working seemed to stare at me like I was some intruder, only one of the staff was welcoming. Wasn't very happy with the set up. No indoor play areas, the staff has to leash walk the dogs to the outdoor play areas (very unsafe practice), there is a large amount of trash just lying around like wood pieces with nails sticking out, and unsafe building structures on the property. Will not be going back.

We recently adopted a rescue puppy. The training, tips and individualized attention have been an immense help in dealing with her issues. I highly recommend Kelly and the crew at Happy Dog Acres.

Left in kennel all weekend. No other dogs. Tore her bed up that smelled like urine and was filthy. Drank lots of water when I got her threw her bed out! Gave her bath when we got home. She's white and has brown patches on her fur from not sure what.. Smelled very strong urine in the place. Staff was nice. But don't think sylvy will be back. You get what you pay for.
L & M boarding did a great job with my dog's first time at a kennel. A special thanks to Patty!!!! She did a fantastic job at putting everyone at ease. Thank you so much Patty; you ROCK!!! The Sweeney family.
Our Sheppard was so thirsty when we got her back. In her kennel, they had her water dish, on the floor, but she had spilled it. They also had a cattle prod on the wall, hanging out side the kennels. They advertise it being a three star kennel that's what I gave them. 😞 …
I've used them a few times and every time I picked up, they tell me they hadn't fed that day. Got home last time and the dog couldn't drink enough water. If I get a different dog, it will never stay there!
Reasonable rates and great care for the dogs. I was very happy.

Our golden and daughters corgi had a great time at this kennel. The owners are accessible and worked with our special needs. So convenient, only a half mile off 75 on exit 222. Perfect stay over for your up north trips!

We have boarded our dogs with Happy Pups for years now. Our guys are always eager to be there, and are not stressed at all after staying. Jay keeps the facility impeccably clean, and our dogs love him as well. Great folks to deal with, and a reasonable price. I highly recommend Happy Pups.
We travel downstate quite a bit and have been using Happy Pups Bed and Biscuit. We love this kennel! Owners are so nice; kennel is clean, and when we pick up the dogs they are content and relaxed. We never worry about our dogs once we drop them off.

They are awesome! They treat your pets amazing, my dog is always so clean, ears, nails and the whole 9 yards. Their boarding setup is top notch. Kennels are cleaned and rotated every day with a large area for them to run and play. Pricing is very reasonable!!
