Katie offers an amazing service - she looks after our puppy so well. She developed a bond with her as soon as she met our puppy. Katie clearly loves all dogs and this is shown by her natural ability to make a connection with them instantly. She is a warm and compassionate person catering for your individual needs. It really puts our minds at rest knowing that our puppy is in such good hands. We don’t know what we’d do without her!

When I first started using Katie to walk my dogs while I was at work. I had a nervous lab cross and a easy going lurcher, Katie and her husband were brilliant with them and my nervous lab cross soon loved katie and her husband taking her put for a walk. My lab cross passed away. Then I just had my lurcher I then rehomed another lurcher and a labrador. Katie took on my three and walks them while I'm at work. My two lurchers and labrador love Katie and her husband. My three are always happy to see Katie and her husband. They love going for walks for with Katie and her husband. It's lovely to hear that they do behave for Katie and her husband. My husbands work pattern can change anytime but Katie doesn't mind, I message her the day before to say my husband has been called into work and katie is always there to help us. I would recommend Katie to help you with your dog/dogs and she is very flexible and loves all dogs. ❤️

Kate has walked my dog since she was about 14 weeks old, she's almost 4 now. I know my dog is always safe and happy on her walks. I have both booked in advance/daily walks and also dropped them in last minute and its never been any bother. Always know my girl is looked after and that's what matters. Highly reccomended

My 8 year old boy has been walking with “his Katie” since he was 5 months old and he absolutely loves her. He starts to get excited as soon as he hears the van at the top of the road and is pretty much out the front door as soon as I open it. He even listens to her….I wish he did that for me!

Lovely and personal doggy day care set up. Daphne (our dog) gets very excited when we drop her off and the photos we get of the day shows how much she loves it there with her dog friends. Vernon runs the business very well, communication is excellent, paperwork is all in check and he ensures that he has the right type of dogs there too - so we have never had any problems in 6 months of sending Daphne there.

Vernon has such passion for dog care, which is evident in his knowledge and experience. Our puppy Reggie has felt reassured, relaxed, and grown in such confidence in socialising since attending. We look forward to our daily updates of what our puppy has been up to throughout the day - which is documented in fun lovely photos and commentary in their Service Reports. Very comfortable with leaving our fur baby in his care! It’s his home away from home. He always runs to their door keen to commence his exciting day with his new best friends. Our pup has been going to daycare twice a week for a number of months now. He gets so excited when he realises he’s going in the mornings and when Vernon arrives to collect him. I can tell he’s in completely safe hands in their care and the experience has honestly been faultless, there’s no where else I would trust sending our pup. He’s really benefited from regularly socialising with other dogs and we can see from the pictures on the daily emailed reports, he has the time of his life there, always has his happy face on. Vernon shows a clear passion for dogs and is highly knowledgeable in providing the best care for them. It’s a home away from home and has exceeded all expectations. Worth every penny!!!

My little Dachshund has been going to Vernon and Jen at Doggy Daycare for a couple of months now and I cannot fault the excellent care that they have provided for her. She settled in straight away and it has helped her social skills and separation anxiety massively! Vernon and Jen have been really accommodating and put my mind at ease straight away, keeping me up to date with how she gets on and I always look forward to the photos and daily reports that they send at the end of the day ☺️. I would fully recommend their care at My Best Friend Daycare, they have been great and my pup is definitely a happy little thing when she gets home from her days spent with them and the other dogs.

Vernon is excellent, I highly recommend My Best Friend Dog Care. Our Labrador loves going out for walks with Vernon and all his doggy friends. We feel very lucky to have found such a diligent and professional person who we can trust to look after our dog. The communication after the walks is brilliant.

My puppy had her first experience of day care with Vernon at My Best Friend last week. Before she went we had a meet and greet session with the opportunity to ask any questions and look at the day care facilities. Vernon is knowledgeable and experienced in dog care and behaviour and made sure our puppy was happy with the other dogs and vice versa. When we left her there last week she was relaxed and happy to stay without a second glance and very relaxed when we picked her up. Vernon sent photos during the day and a little report with more photos the next day. Overall a great experience for us and our puppy. We've booked another session and would highly recommend to other dog owners.

My Dachshund has been going to My Best Friend Burntwood for Daycare for some time but has recently stayed with Vernon and Jen for her “holidays” whilst we were away. She went on lots of walks to different places and loved playing with her doggy pals in their awesome new garden. We got updates and photos everyday so we knew she was in safe hands and we could relax. Safe to say she loved it! (I think she’s missing them today 🤣 ) Thank You Vernon and Jen :)

Vernon clearly has a love and passion for animals. From the moment he met our little pup he was kind and patient (as she can be a little nervous). Her confidence has come on leaps and bounds since going on dog walks with Vernon and her little pals and we know for certain she is in safe hands and having a wonderful time! I would highly recommend My Best Friend Dog Care, a very friendly, caring and professional service. Vernon and Jen are so committed and passionate and they really do offer a home from home environment. Our pup Luna can be very nervous but Vernon and Jen have really gone out of their way to ensure Luna feels comfortable, working with Luna at her own pace she has the best time! After only four visits I can really see a huge difference in Luna’s behaviour and positive progress. We are updated with photographs, videos and a fabulous service report at the end of the day which is so lovely to read and is something I look forward to receiving. Vernon and Jen really do go above and beyond all expectations and we are so thankful Luna has been lucky enough to secure a place with them. Thank you Vernon and Jen 😃

Cannot recommend My Best Friend Dog Care Burntwood enough! I was stuck for cover for my pup and Vernon was able to help out last minute with dog walking. An amazing service and so attentive to any of your pups needs. My 10 month old Bulldog suffers with grass allergies and Vernon was fab with making sure this was watched closely and my pup always came home so happy and can really tell good care was taken of her. A service report with photos and info of the service is also sent afterwards every day and was so lovely seeing my pup having fun and just being able to be kept in the loop with their day. 5 stars always ⭐️

Our german shepherd who has never been away from home before stayed here recently for 2 nights, what an absolute blessing it is to have found these guys! we were able to travel for a wedding without any stress and it made our weekend much more enjoyable, the relief of knowing she was staying here and I was kept up to date was immeasurable. Our girl absolutely loved it and has made friends with some of the other dogs that go here! Wouldn’t use anywhere else now and look forward to being able to send her here whenever we need to in the future, highly recommend

Tracey & Jake from we love dogs, what a brilliant service they offer, our 15 month old dog Cooper as just had a fantastic 5 night stay with them, they send you daily text messages, pictures and videos of him, why you are away showing what a great time they are having, which gives you piece of mind, nothing is too much trouble, they even have a doggie paddling pool, which he loved, we would definitely recommend them and will be using them again, for boarding and day care, thanks again Heather & Mark

Tracey & Jake at We Love Pets Cannock are absolutely amazing! Luna, our chocolate lab has meningitis so have to take extra care with her and ensure she’s taking her meds. Tracey & Jake treat Luna like their own and I simply wouldn’t go to anyone else now. They give her lots of cuddles, playtime and walks and we are forever grateful. I cannot thank Tracey and Jake at We love pets Cannock enough for the wonderful care and attention they have shown my dog Beau. She boarded with them for one week and received 5 star service including daily walks, toys to play with, lots of fuss and even a doggy paddling pool to cool off in. They also sent me pictures and messages regularly so I could enjoy my holiday knowing that Beau was being looked after, priceless! I would not hesitate to recommend their service and I will definitely be using them again.

I can not express how wonderful We Love Pets Cannock is. Never left our furrbabies with anyone other than family before when we go away, but due to not being able to use family members now we had no alternative to look for cat sitters. Tracey, Anna and Tanya have been absolutely golden. I was so worried about leaving them for a few days and my one cat having to have medication but the ladies put my mind at rest. Had daily updates and pictures and Tanya did so well in looking after them. My furrbabies will be very happy August getting fussed, treats and lots of love. I cant thank We Love Pets Cannock enough. Jake and Tracey have been looking after Bruce, my black Labrador since I went back to work this year. I work shifts and they have accommodated his need without any hassles. They have stepped in at short notice if somethings come up at the last minute too. I get regular photos of his adventures and that really puts my mind at ease. Bruce is always more excited to see Jake than he is to see me when I walk through the door! Dogs are fickle 🤣🐾. I would highly recommend these guys if your looking for a quality, flexible service. 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

We left our 7month puppy with Tracey and Jake. Our dog Hollie stayed with Fiona for 10 days during July/August. She had a wonderful stay, Fiona kept us updated with photos and messages to keep our mind at rest. Our dog Daisy has stayed with Fiona and Shirley several times now, she knows exactly where she is when we pull up at the house and literally pulls us out of the car to get to the house. She loves her walks and playing with the other dogs when she is there and Fiona kindly sends us pictures of Daisy when she stays. Left our Daschund Udon for 30 days recently with Fiona and Shirley. Fantastic service and highly recommended. Prompt response and regular updates with pictures. Simple booking process and a few introductory visits put our mind to rest. We were very worried as Udon had been unsettled at most overnight stays previosly. We unexpectedly gained a puppy and Fiona cane to the rescue when we had to go away fir the weekend . But worried about how he would settle but she was brilliant . Would recommend and we will definitely use again

Woody has just spent another night with Fiona and Shirley. Fiona walks Woody every week and looks after him when we go away on holiday. Fiona is the only person we trust looking after Woody for long periods of time, having never left him for the first 3 years of his life. She is reliable, trustworthy and clearly loves dogs! I would highly recommend Fiona to anyone looking for a dog walker or overnight boarding as she treats Woody as if he were her own.

My dog Hamish really enjoys his stay with Fiona and her dog Shirley. Even as an old dog who is so used to his usual routine, he looks so relaxed been there and enjoys his daily walks. Fiona is really good with dogs and is happy to keep in contact while we are away to update on how he is. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely lovely lady! Really connected well with my dachshund Dexter! He was being a little minx and she has taught both myself and Dexter how to deal with our emotions and his separation anxiety in order to make situations calm. Would 100% recommend to anyone having problems with their pet, a great service price too!

Michelle came yesterday as we were experiencing problems with our 8 month old black labrador. She was with us for just over 1 hour and I cannot believe the difference, it is like someone has taken my dog and replaced him with a very obedient one. Walking him is now a pleasure instead of a chore and I cannot recommend Michelle's services highly enough.

I have just gone through the hardest experience that I have ever had with a dog. Daisy my 9 month old Airedale was jumping around in the back yard just over a week ago and strained her right Achilles’ tendon on her back foot. When it happened she ran around in circles looking around like someone was chasing her. She then wouldn’t go outside (back or front) and was constantly hiding as she couldn’t understand the pain that would suddenly appear. Amber from Paw Patrol saved the day. She came over and worked with her intensely in the back yard using behavioural modification methods and everyday she improved. It took a week for me to see her go out last night and pee in the backyard on her own. I cannot thank them enough for being there when I needed them. They also supported me through my husband’s illness and death with their dog walker Vicki even coming over and watching Daisy on the day of his funeral. They are a fantastic team and I am thankful for all the support the owner Michelle has given me as well. When you use this company you feel like you become part of a family. Thank you very much.

To cut a long story short, my rescue boy Rory had a few, shall we say trust issues, he had a lot of changes in his life and became anxious and scared about new environment's and people, he started to show signs of what everyone thought was aggession, we had to do something or we would lose him, so I contacted Michelle who came out to assess him and what happened was unbelievable, he would try to as I say "nibble" everyone that he didn't know but Michelle reassured him from the second she met him, he didn't bark, react or do any of the unsociable things he had been doing...anyway..he is so comfortable with Michelle that she now takes him for walks several times a week and the difference is amazing, he now is more himself, he's happy, loving life again and enjoying being out where before he was kept away from other dogs and people, he's now just calmer..absolutely amazing...cannot thank Michelle enough, she's not only there for your pooch but gives you advice and makes you feel confident to do the best for your dog, thank you..xx

We have used Paw Patrol for almost four years now since moving to Great Wyrley. Michelle and the team are reliable, punctual, hardworking, and fantastic with our two dogs. I cannot recommend this service enough! Chris came to my home and microchipped my cat. Less stressful than a trip to the vets. Chris was so professional and friendly, my cat was relaxed and it was done in seconds. No waiting in a vets and no stress for my cat. I have been using PAWS for about 6 years now for my beautiful beagle Fudge. Fudge is a very nervous dog and uneasy around strangers but chris and his team have an amazing way with her and she loves going out for a walk with them whilst I am at work. PAWS are very trustworthy I have no worries about them going into the house whilst we are away. Definitely recommend them for any pet lovers!!!

Vanessa looked after my dog for 3weeks in September 2024. I was very nervous at leaving him, she reassured me that all would be OK and that I didn't need to worry. She was absolutely brilliant with him. Her family are dog lovers as well so that is even more assuring that he would be well looked after. My dog came back from his stay looking really well and contented. I would highly recommend this service and will be using this service again. I had regular updates and pictures. They do lovely walks and treated him like he was their own dog. I would not hesitate to recommend Happy Hounds 100 percent.

Vanessa was recommended to us by a friend and we’re so pleased they did! As soon as you meet her you are put at ease that your dog will be cared and loved just like at home. Reggie stayed with Vanessa for a week and we were given regular photos and videos of how he was getting on. Walks over Cannock Chase during the day and cuddles on the sofa at night Reggie had a great time!

Marley has always stayed with family before when we've been on holiday but that wasn’t possible this time so I was understandably nervous about leaving him but I really didn't need to be. From his first overnight trial stay Marley was completely at home with Vanessa and her family. She goes out of her way to make sure your dog feels part of the family and that they are comfortable with any of the other dogs she has in her care. We had lots of lovely photos and videos of Marley out on his regular walks and also of him enjoying his holiday home. Rufus loved his week holiday at Happy Hounds, so much so, he is sulking now he is back home. Vanessa is lovely and takes fabulous care of the dogs she boards. She was very accommodating when our flight home was delayed for 24 hours and was able to look after Rufus for an extra day at very short notice. Rory and Barney spent a week with Vanessa and her family whilst we went on holiday. They had a great time! Wonderful home boarding service. Before meeting with Vanessa I was incredibly nervous at the idea of home boarding, with my dog only ever having stayed with family. Vanessa has been so supportive, offering introductory visits and trial stays to put my mind at rest. Feeling completely reassured about future stays.

Mabel loved her stay with Vanessa and family. The photos and videos we received most days of Mabel having fun on her walks up the chase and having snuggles with Vanessa on the sofa helped us feel confident that Mabel was being very well cared for. Will definitely be booking again

Stew and Becky looked after our fur baby Nancy while we were on holiday and from the second we met them, we instantly knew Nancy would be in the best hands! They kindly sent us pictures everyday and let us know how she was doing, her confidence has improved and I know she can’t wait to come for her next doggy holiday, thank you so much guys!

Stew and Bec boarded our 2 dogs for 10 days, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect family to look after them both. Our rescue is a very shy, sensitive soul and takes a bit to gel but could see after only a few days the happiness in the great photos provided to document their stay. My spaniel also enjoyed her favourite sport played most days (ball) with the guys as well. It has been an absolute dream to be able to leave my 2 fur babies with such a nice family!!!. Would highly recommend to others, Stew and Bec welcome your dogs into their lovely home to be a part of the family for their stay. Our Cockapoo boarded very happily at Little Buddies Dog retreat with Stew and Becca. For a dog who’s been nervous and withdrawn when she’s boarded at other boarding places, picking Toffee up from Little Buddies was so refreshing. She was happy, wagging her tail with not a care in the world. Stew and Becca have thought of everything to keep furbabies who are boarding with them completely safe and happy. I took Toffee for a meet and greet first of all and we were shown where she would sleep, be fed and play etc which was a lovely thing to do, to introduce your dog to this lovely couple, their gorgeous dog and lovely home. Without asking, they sent both photos and a video of Toffee and the other dogs playing and living their best lives while she was with them. This is NOT what we’ve been used to anywhere else, with the several dogs we’ve had previously. We recommend Little Buddies in every respect and will most certainly be booking Toffee in again when we need her to be taken care of…fingers crossed they have room for her. I wouldn’t want to send her anywhere else! I highly recommend Little Buddies. There’s only a 5⭐️ rating available but it’s a 10 out of 10 from us. I see Louise's dogs playing in her back yard quite often. They run around and play together so well. You can just stand there and smile. Most of the time she has same dogs over and over again. I think that says it all. She is someone you can trust. I would highly recommend her.

Louise has cared for our two dogs on numerous occasions and we would highly recommend her services. Louise genuinely cares for the dogs she looks after and they really do become part of her family. After the stress of a previous unreliable dog walker, it has taken a bit of time for me to trust my dog to someone new. Louise has taken time and trouble to get to know our black Lab Retriever, so that she can provide the best care. I'm loving receiving little video clips of our pooch thoroughly enjoying himself whilst out on walks with Louise, even though I am stuck at work ! Would thoroughly recommend.

Can't rate Sniffs Small Animal Boarding highly enough! They looked after our rats when we were away on holiday for a week. Unfortunately one of our girls became poorly just before we had to go, but Kim provided us with regular updates on her and even syringe fed her water when she needed it. They also took the time to answer any questions we had prior to making the booking and they let us bring our own cage which we requested. We will definitely be booking again with them in the future :-) Thanks from Steph & Toni! X

Kim took our two guinea pigs for two weeks as well as their surprise litter of four babies, at very short notice. Fantastic service, facilities and a lovely lady.

Kim always looks after our chinchillas well when we go on holiday. Even in this strange year with covid everything was still fantastic. New boarding room looks excellent. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Kim offers a wonderful service, perfect for your bunnies/guinea pigs, can holiday knowing they are being cared for well! Communication is fab and friendly, would highly recommend.

They accommodated my short notice booking very well, gave good instructions for handing over my bunnies. Communication was good while our bunnies lodged there. Overall would use them again

Poor communication attitude

I contacted K9 at Mine as we needed short notice doggy day care for our Romanian rescue, Bobby due to a family funeral. Jayne moved things around to accommodate and we are extremely grateful. As Bobby is extremely nervous and doesn't trust easily, we were a little anxious about how he would cope. Jayne arranged for us to meet prior to the booking so he could get to know her before being left. The house is extremely dog friendly and the outside area is secure (even for our little escape artist). She was very attentive to his needs and made sure his stay was a success. We would definitely use K9 at Mine again if we are in the area, and highly recommend to others.

I was so pleased with the service at K9 at Mine. From start to finish it’s been an absolute pleasure. The attention to detail, ensuring your furry friend will be well looked after as they would at home, in a safe, secure, and loving environment. It’s such a relief when going away. Having regular updates to know all is well is a lovely appreciated touch as well! I would highly recommend Jayne. Truffle is already booked in for her next visit! We wouldn’t go anywhere else now! 🐶❤️

A fantastic loving and caring service! My pup Stanley was made to feel right at home and you know when your little fur baby walks into somewhere with his tail wagging and doesn’t even look back to say goodbye he’s happy and content in his surroundings! Can definitely 100% recommend Jayne and K9 at Mine!

The best I’ve ever used! Thank you so much for looking after Bruno whilst I was away with work. Jayne has been an absolute pleasure to deal with and took so much stress off trying to find suitable care for Bruno. I will definitely be booking him in again whenever I’m away for leisure or work!
