I never write negative reviews. This might be the second or third I have ever written in my life, but I will not be sending my dogs here again. Our German Shepherd puppy, Daisy, is about 7 months old and has been to daycare here on a few occasions. Today, when my husband picked her up, he was told she was being aggressive to other dogs. Daisy has never been aggressive to other dogs or people ever before and has been to several daycares, has two dog brothers, and other dog friends. That being said, dogs are dogs. But my husband or I should have received a call when the daycare noticed a change in Daisy’s behavior. We should have been made aware immediately that something was wrong. They did not inform us of this until the end of the day. My dog was in what must have been an uncomfortable, upsetting situation as she was reacting aggressively. We would have never left her there all day if they had let us know what was going on with our baby girl. When my husband asked for specific details regarding the situation he was told “she was just being aggressive.” I would’ve liked more information. I am beyond disappointed with the lack of communication. But, unfortunately, that is not all. We were also informed that they put our dog in a crate after she displayed aggressive behaviors and tried to introduce other dogs to her outside of the crate. Anyone who knows anything about dog behavior should know that barriers are very capable of making aggressive situations worse. I am disappointed with how this situation was handled, and will not be a returning customer.

Misty is amazing, especially with big dogs! Their outdoor play yard is awesome and the dogs seem to have so much fun out there. Facility is clean and all the pups seem happy to be there. Friendly and caring, highly recommend.

So my Rottweilers like to visit here when they sneak out (cat opens the door) of my house & visit the neighbors. They have ended up here twice in 2 years. The people are very kind about it, and I appreciate them when I come looking for my babies blubbering with tears from fear of losing them.

Absolutely love Misty Fields Pet Resort. My Samoyed, Cosmo, is super social and needs the interaction he gets at Misty Fields. They treat all their animals like family, inside their spacious farm house or outside in the several varied pen areas. They monitor the dogs and make sure they are grouped together with like temperaments as well as give them people play time and rest time too. We go for a full day, once a week, and Cosmo is always excited to arrive and sleepy on his way home. Best part is that he is calmer all week long after having his social day away. I am thankful that Misty and Mike provide such an oasis for our doggos!

This is an awesome place to take your pooch! Our dog gets so excited every Tuesday, when it is time to go play with her friends, that we can barely contain her! Misty is wonderful with animals and her staff does a great job as well. There are really nice play areas and her furry guests are treated like family.

If I could give Misty Fields Pet Resort zero stars, I would. They lost my dog before she even got inside. I caught her two days later at a freeway rest area. She managed to cross the freeway without getting hit. My sister's dog was staying, too. When we dropped them off, Mike met us in the front yard. We offered to bring them inside, but he refused. There is a horse fence around most of the yard, which is nothing for my little dog. We hadn't gotten back home before Mike called to say she had gotten away and they needed my help catching her. By the time we got back, they had no idea where she was. When Mike had tried to take her in, she had been startled by another dog and slipped her collar. She hung around in the yard until Misty grabbed her, then she "screamed", Misty let go, and she ran. Misty never even talked to me. She stopped looking hours before the rest of us. Mike did drive around for quite a while the first day, but not as long as the family and friends that came to help. We searched for about 5 hours the first day. It was raining and then snowing. We were all in spring jackets, without hats or gloves. Misty and Mike did not offer to let us in to warm up, or use the bathroom. They didn't contact us on our second or third day of searching. My sister sent them a text in the late afternoon on the second day to let them know that we were still searching and another text in the late afternoon on the third day to let them know that we found her.

I cannot say enough wonderful comments about Misty, her husband, and her team at Misty Fields. I had a difficult time finding a place that love Hansel & Gretel as much as I do- that was until we took them to Misty Fields. Her price range is fair and she has multiple options for you to pick from. She goes above and beyond to make them comfortable and is knowledgeable with any cuts, bruises, or concerns your dog may have. My dogs used to shake when I pulled into other boarding places and I would have to push them out of the car; but with Misty Fields, Hansel & Gretel are wagging their tails and they don’t even look back at me to say goodbye. I am able to completely relax and enjoy wherever I’m going because H&G are in good hands. If I ever left this area, I would highly consider the drive to drop them off at Misty Fields for long stays. This pet resort is worth it.

Always takes care of our dogs and treats them like family. Never had even the slightest problem will continue to use their services. Love the care that is given to each animal it makes me very comfortable to leave my baby's with them.

We love Misty Field Pet Resort for our (older) dog! The owner is very responsive and professional. We hadn't borded our dog in a few years and Misty took wonderful care of her while keeping us updated with pictures and messages. We would absolutely recommend this pet resort!

We had Misty watch our two dogs for a week when we went on vacation. She was nice and let us drop everyone off early so we could catch our flight. She sent us photos with updates, and you could tell she enjoyed watching them.

Aunt T has been visiting our dogs for a few months now and we highly recommend her services. One of our two dogs has special needs and is very fearful of people, but Aunt T was successful in working with her to gain her confidence. She treats each pet with the necessary individuality required. Aunt T is very knowledgeable and is extremely patient with the animals as well. She keeps us updated during her visits and even shares photos. We highly recommend her services!

Millie, my 4 month old puppy, did a trial overnight at Aunt-T's and it was a great experience for both of us. Theresa kept me aprised of what was going on with her and sent photos in the evening of the first day and morning of the second. The big backyard allowed plenty of play and exercise room and I know Millie enjoyed having their dog to interact with since she's very social. The fact that takes only one client at a time ensured Millie got lots of attention. I don't hesitate to recommend her services.

My husband’s service dog whom he has never been separated from for more than a few hours stayed with Aunt T due to a lack of space in the car to take her when we traveled. We were unsure of how she would do being separated from my husband but Aunt T treated her like her own and took such good care of her. She is absolutely awesome about keeping us updated and in the loop and even sends pictures! We know it was a rough adjustment for Hydra to try and take commands from someone else but Aunt T was incredibly patient with her adjustment. We have used Aunt T in the past for our dogs that have passed on and we will continue to utilize her and recommend people to her.

My son has used Aunt T's twice now and myself once. We can't say enough of the amazing, thorough and loving care she gave to all our animals. Our pets just love her and her love of animals shows. I wouldn't even think about using another pet sitter! She is amazing and will be using her again in December.

Aunt T let me know she is starting to board dogs on a limited basis and I recently brought my 2 dogs to her for a trip. I could rest easy knowing my babies were well cared for. Photos and updates shared every day to us. When my elderly dog ate a spicy sky raisin, Theresa let me know straight away, and brought him into the vet for steroids (he’s doing okay!) would 100% recommend for boarding services.

We have used Auntie T’s pet services a couple times and I wouldn’t want any one else watching my dogs! She is awesome and has the best heart for any animal! Both my boys love her and loves when she comes to see them! Great at communicating, amazing availability, and makes sure your furry kids are well taken care of!

Aunt T definitely has her work cut out for her with my four doggies. They range from a 10-year-old to a 9-week-old and one of them is very shy, but Aunt T’s Confucians calm demeanor earned her love and trust from each one of them right away. I am so grateful for her and recommend her to everyone!!

Theresa is absolutely the sweetest and most caring pet sitter we could have ever asked for! She went above and beyond for my husband and I last minute when we really needed someone to watch our dogs for the weekend of our wedding. She sent us pics and took such good care of our babies! We would recommend her to anyone looking for someone you can trust in your home. She even bought us these beautiful flowers 🥰

Aunt T deserves all the stars in the heavens as a pet sitter. Theresa has taken care of our dogs for years. Our Dylan was a Mastiff who had Addison’s disease and Theresa dispensed medication with exceptional experience when caring for him. Now we have Lily. She is another rescue after Dylan. Aunt T took care of her for a week when we were out of state for our daughter’s wedding. Such a relief to know our Lily was safe and snuggly in her own routine at home. Theresa has enormous love and compassion for all animals. She pays attention to detail. She is reliable, trustworthy and so friendly. I am so happy she has been part of our dogs lives in caring for them.

They were absolutely amazing with our animals-I have never seen Kia (older sheperd) take to anyone as much as she did to Theresa-we got daily updates,with pictures,every single day! Truly an amazing service! Now I know for sure that any time I have to be away from home,I will use this service and know,without a doubt,that our animals are in the best of hands and very well taken care of-thank you Aunt T’s for taking such good care of our babies-you are a credit to your profession ❤️💕
