Kimberly was a wonderful sitter who watched our two cats for us while we were out. She was willing to come a day early to help acclimate herself with the animals, and this was exceedingly helpful in making sure the cats would be comfortable with her during our absence. I would highly recommend Kimberly if you're looking for a responsible, caring sitter.

Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.

Summer was a very top-quality pet sitter and house sitter. She not only took excellent care of all four pets (three cats and a dog) but even achieved a very close bond with one of the cats. She went over and above the call of duty with our dog, who developed a serious skin condition while we were gone. We're so grateful that Summer was able to identify there was a problem, took the dog to the vet several times, and ended up having to apply topical medication and give pills and even keep the dog dressed in a t-shirt, which she did flawlessly. She communicated with us frequently, sending photos and updates, and the house was spotless when we returned, even cleaner than when we had left. She did an amazing job, knew how to handle any situation, always had a very upbeat and positive attitude, and we really enjoyed getting to know her right before we left and right after we returned. We would very very highly recommend Summer in all respects!

I highly recommend Daniel as a pet sitter and house sitter! He took care of Pipa for over three months this winter and did an outstanding job. From the first day, it was clear that he had a genuine love for animals and a great deal of experience with pets. He was very attentive to his needs and always made sure he was comfortable, well-fed, and had plenty of playtime. In addition to his pet-sitting duties, Daniel also went above and beyond by processing my postal mail and keeping the house well-organized. He was very responsible and reliable, always arriving on communicating, putting the bins out, and watering the plants on time, and keeping me updated with photos and messages. I felt completely at ease knowing that my cat was in such good hands and that my home was well-cared for while I was away. When I returned from my trip, Pipa was happy, healthy, and well-adjusted, thanks to Daniel's excellent care. Oh wow! Everyone should be so lucky to have Nicholas and Veerle watch their house and pets. These lovely people are pros! They communicated early and often, were super accommodating to some last minute changes (it was originally going to be only our cats to watch but we decided to keep the dog home as well so that added to the schedule and care needs) and they left the house spotless and all set up for another sitter who came in after them. We didn’t get the chance to meet because my departure and arrival times but I dearly hope I get to in the future because they were just great! I even heard how nice they were from My neighbors who say them out walking our dog. :-) They also sent regular pictures of the pets which look like pro-photography! Cannot recommend this couple enough! Your pets and house will be in good hands!

Karen was an extraordinary house and pet sitter who I hope to invite back again soon. You would be extremely fortunate to have her take care of your pets and home. From the very beginning she radiated calmness, knowledge, caring and curiosity. We had a great initial conversation where Karen answered questions I didn't even know I should be asking, and asked excellent questions so she could be prepared and understand the special needs for both my cat and home. She flew into my city the day before I was leaving and stayed at a nearby hostel so that we could meet in person and do a walk through of my home. They say pets have an intuitive nature about people, and I knew Karen would be a winner when my normally very shy/nervous cat came right up and let her pet him. Karen sent wonderful pictures and updates while I was gone and asked questions when she wasn't sure about something. When I returned home everything was spotless and my cat was content. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better house sitter experience. Thank you Karen!

If Cung ever applies to your post for a house or pet sit, I strongly encourage you to jump at the offer. You will not be disappointed. Cung is among the top (if not the top) sitter I’ve ever had and I’ve been on this site for years. Primarily, Cung is very organized. In the weeks and days leading up to the sit, Cung kept me abreast of his plans and status. I felt very comfortable in the days leading up to the sit because I knew the plan we made to exchange the keys and walk him through the instructions would work as planned. Second, Cung really cares. When he got to my apartment after what I assume was a long day of traveling, I explained the care instructions and he was very attentive and cared about the details - asking very specific questions on how to care for my cat and apartment. I had some pretty specific rules about how to feed my cat and take care of him and Cung followed those exactly. Third, Cung makes you feel comfortable while you are away. I got daily or twice daily updates about my cat. I got pictures which made me feel like my cat was having a good time. My cat came out within an hour of me being away - very fast for my cat as he is shy. Cung must have a calming energy towards animals. Cung was also very responsive when I reached out first - replying within 5 minutes. I really appreciated that. My cat threw up at one point and Cung answered all of my questions to assess whether my cat was sick or had just eaten too fast. Fourth, Cung will take good care of your apartment/house. I came back to a SPOTLESS apartment. The sheets were washed and folded on my bed. The towels were washed. The apartment had been vacuumed. The kitchen was clean. The dishwasher had been run. Everything was in its place when I returned. Honestly, cleaner than when I left it which is difficult since I am a very clean person. Cung also respects your property. I have an extensive computer setup that he used for work and he was very respectful of that equipment. He asked if he could use it beforehand, which was incredibly polite since he could have used it and I wouldn’t have known. In sum. You need to jump at the opportunity if Cung offers to sit for you. I came home to a very happy cat. Hope he will sit for me again sometime!

We've had many pet/house sitters over the last few years and Cat and Eugene will reside at the top of the list of favorites! From my first email with Cat I knew I liked her. She has all of the qualities of a good house and pet sitter: Reliable, a good listener, organized, flexible, caring, and honest. She and Eugene arrived exactly on time for our pre-sit visit, where they got to meet Maya and become familiarized with the house. It was a delight to visit with them and become comfortable knowing Maya would be in good hands. Our scheduled dates changed somewhat and they were extremely flexible and easy going about the changes. Upon our return home, we found the house pretty much in the exact condition we left it in. I can tell that great care was taken for Maya and for the house. Maya seemed to still be looking for them the next day, wandering around the house wondering where the other people who loved her went. I would recommend Cat and Eugene for anyone looking for reliable, kind, respectful, caring, tidy, and honest sitters. If I am lucky, I will get to have them back to sit for me again.

My dog Loki, a big beautiful greyhound has been enjoying doggy daycare and boarding with Michelle for over a year now. Michelle has been amazing during that time,I trust her whole heartedly not just in my home but with my most precious boy. He is always happy to see her with a big wagging tail. A friendly, helpful, professional service, cannot recommend highly enough. Lovely people doing a fantastic job, who have become friends in the process.

Had Laura looking after our Indie from the week we brought her home! Started with in house puppy visits before adding her to group walks. Our dog loves her and we get photos and videos from every walk. Laura has always made us feel at ease knowing our pup and home are in safe hands. Sadly due to relocation, our time with Laura has come to an end (but I wish I could bring her with me 😂) she really is the best - and she delivers Christmas presents! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with our 2 year old Australian Labradoodle. Laura is clear, helpful and great with our dog. Laura has been reliable ever since we first started using her. Our dog loves seeing her and having her walks, which are varied, local and our dog always comes back having had a great, tiring time!

I feel quite strongly amount writing this review. I have only been using Neil, Essex Pet Services for a short while. Neil has a naturally calming demeanour which is essential for my very spirited dog. He is genuinely incredibly good with animals and provides a home from home environment. He is contactable, honest and reliable. Anyone who has spent a few minutes in Neil’s company would truly believe he only has the animals in his care at heart. Having used a previous home broader for the past 2 and a half years I was very nerves about trusting my dog with someone new, however Neil completely won my trust the moment I met him, each time I’ve used Neil my dog has return home happy, healthy and content.
Essex Pet Services have been walking and boarding my dog Micha for nearly 5 years now. Neil and the team know their stuff. She is picked up and dropped off, making life so much easier. The prices are beyond reasonable. Neil is amazing with Micha, she loves to see him, and gets so excited when she hears the van. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Would not trust anyone else with my fur baby. Thank you so much xx
Essex pet services are absolutely amazing!!!!! My dog Belle loves staying with Neil on her holidays & loves going out for walks with him. She gets mega excited when she sees him and it’s great piece of mind to know that our Belle is being looked after & loved whilst we are away. I wouldn’t leave my dog with anyone else! Not only are they professional but they are the most caring people I’ve ever met.
I can not recommend Neil more! There is no one else i would trust to look after my pets. We’ve been using Neil & Maddy since 2015. Neil even brought our dogs to our wedding so we could have them in our photos on our special day. We’ve since moved to Suffolk and still use Neil for boarding when we go abroad. Our dogs love and remember Neil and always come back happy and worn out.
We love Essex Pet services. Always reliable. Always dependable. We would be totally lost without the love care and attention that our dogs get when we can’t be there to do it. Could not recommend highly enough. Neil deserves a bloody knighthood.
Ran out of stars to give! Neil is absolutely amazing with Dougie. He has had him nearly a year now and is very helpful and accommodating. It is clear to see that both Neil and Ryan adore animals and I could not imagine Dougie being with anyone else. I am extremely thankful I found them! Thank you both for everything.
Neil is a real life Doctor Doolittle! My dog is very wary around new people but she took to Neil immediately. I couldn’t be more happy with the service and the price and would highly recommend Essex Pet Services. Don’t believe everything you read in the papers either.
Excellent service. The company has looked after our Italian Spinone for over 6 months 3 days a week. Always accommodating and our dog gets a great doggy day care service with plenty of exercise and stimulation. The company posts videos and photos regularly So we can see how he is enjoying his days. Would definitely recommend.
Highly recommend these guys, our Milo loves spending time with them and any mention of uncle Neil and he goes crazy! They have looked after him since he was a crazy pup (he's still crazy) and we are so happy that we choose these guys to look after him. They had him during our 2 week honeymoon and everytime we go away. There is nobody that I would trust to have my boy while I'm away. Thanks for all you do and Milo loves you all.

Would highly recommend K9 Capers to anyone looking for dog walking or boarding. We've been using Tim now on a regular basis for many years and he loves Maggie (our Jack Russell) like she's his own. We trust him totally to look after her daily and also for times we've been away, sometimes for a week and Maggie has always had a great time! Tim really understands the importance of each dogs needs and how they all differ. Tim himself is such a lovely guy and so personable. So anyone needing their beloved dog to be walked or looked after should definitely give K9 Capers a shout.
Tim has been walking my two huskies from the beginning of his dog caring journey. Huskies need long walks and are not good off lead. Tim has taken this on board and given his very best to my two taking them to a variety of places to keep them interested and stimulated. My two love him to bits and he does an amazing job with them. They do have minds of their own and i think Tim's arms are probably a couple of inches longer than when he started :-).
We have used Tim for 3 years now. Our Boxer Brie loves going out with him and her mates. In the wet weather Brie is a complete pain because she loves puddle jumping (much to poor Tims diamay) but she does always come home fairly clean, thanks to his portable shower! During the time Brie has been with Tim she has had problems with her cruciate ligaments, Tim has helped her through with considerate walking regimes. Needless to say he cares for your dog as if they were his own. Would highly recommend Tim if you are looking for a dog walker.
Tim has expertly managed my three fear aggressive dogs. They couldn’t be walked by just anyone due to their trust issues with humans firstly and secondly other dogs. To be able to relax 100% always knowing that your dogs, as troubled as they are, with someone who understands them, has absolute compassion but at the same time gives them confidence is priceless. We never thought we could find someone who could tick all the boxes. So to have Tim who does that and more has been liberating. Couldn’t recommend him more highly. Professional and absolutely reliable and not to mention adored by our dogs.
Over the last 3 years since walking my dogs Tim has never let me down, whether walking them, helping me out with vets appointments and having them board when i am on holiday. I know 100% that they are in safe hands. Even the 3 hours he spent with me on a Saturday afternoon looking for Neo when he went AWOL from my house!!! One call and he was there to help me out without hesitation.
Cannot recommend Tim highly enough. Our dog loves every minute of her walk.

It’s always a bit nerve-wracking taking an older dog to a new place, but I needn’t have worried. Jules is lovely and my dog loved her stay with her. Kaya’s Little Haven was a wonderful, calm environment and nothing was too much trouble. Would absolutely recommend, 11/10!
I was anxious about leaving George with someone he didn’t know, but at Kaya’s Little Haven, he was made to feel so welcome. The whole process was easy, a short meet and greet to make sure everyone was happy and then he went for 10 days. Lovely updates during that week, he received lots of attention and walks and he enjoyed playing with the other dogs. I would definitely recommend and use again.
I was a little worried about leaving Sunday with a dog sitter as he’s an old boy and hasn’t done anything like this before. But after one short meet and greet with Jules, I felt so comfortable leaving him. Her love for dogs just shines through and my boy just fitted right in. I loved getting updates whilst we were away for 10 days and seeing him so happy with his new friends. It really felt like he had a holiday too and he’ll definitely be a regular now!
Kayas little haven is amazing! Julie and Pete are so caring with the dogs and made mine feel so welcome and comfortable. They loved also playing with Julie and Pete’s dogs too. Both of mine came back very happy and content and obviously enjoyed their time there. I felt so comfortable leaving my pooches with them 🥰🐶
We were a little apprehensive about leaving our babies all day. However we needn’t have worried, both Nellie & Hilda had the best time playing with Kaya & Bear and being looked after by Jules and family. They loved it at the little Dutch Cottage and we will be definitely be using Kaya’s Little Haven again. Thank you for such a loving home from home.
I used Kaya’s Little Haven for my Cockapoo in August. He stayed there for 12 nights and had a wonderful time. We received photos and videos of him throughout his stay so we knew he was alright while we were away. He was treated like one of their own dogs while he was there and we were able to holiday without any worries. Would definitely use Kaya’s Little Haven again and would certainly recommend to any of my fellow dog mum’s
I used Kaya’s Little Haven at very short notice in August after an initial successful meet and greet. I received photos and videos of Wills throughout her stay which was very reassuring and she certainly seemed to make herself right at home while we were away! I would definitely use Kaya’s Little Haven again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a caring home from home for their pup.
Dropped our 8 month old cockerpoo to Kaya’s for a weekend. Have never used a boarder before, but found Kaya’s to be amazing from the 1st meet to when we dropped off and collected, had complete confidence that KODA was going to be well looked after and after getting the videos sent and then seeing him on Facebook we can see he was having the best time. Well worth 5 * would give more if we could.
Toby my cocker spaniel stayed here for three nights and I couldn’t recommend Kayas more. Lovely people who looked after him perfectly. He was very happy and I have already rebooked him again. Home from home atmosphere and he loved it. Can’t recommend her enough!

Used this place for 2 years when I got a puppy as didn't want to leave her at home all day, absolutely brilliant. Jackie and Oli are so friendly and lovely, they make you and your pets feel welcomed. My girl was always happy to go here everytime because she was treated like one of theirs. If I hadn't moved halfway up the country, I would still be using them now. Safe, professional, and generally a great help to me. I would recommend to anyone.

Debbie is a wonderful choice to look after your pets. She looks after our two cats whenever we are away and we feel relaxed and comfortable with her having access to our property. Her attentive and experienced demeanor and attitude puts our cats at ease and we always return happy knowing that the cats have had a stress free time. So much better than putting them in a cattery. Highly recommended.
Debbie long term boards my royal python while I'm at uni until I can afford to move her up to live with me. She's the best boarder I can imagine, she clearly knows a lot about reptiles, and the other animals she boards, and is fully insured. Debbie gives me regular updates on my python's activity and feeding, and is always friendly and happy to chat about her well-being! Would definitely recommend, to anyone looking for pet-sitting focused on your animals needs!
I am so happy I found the Pet Fairy. My two dogs love going there and I know they are treated like family members. Little Paws Doggy Day-care has been a game-changer for our 8-month-old miniature wire-haired dachshund, Norman. When Norman first started attending, he was a shy and nervous little pup, but the transformation in him over the past few months has been incredible. The team at Little Paws is nothing short of amazing. Their dedication and love for the dogs they care for is evident in everything they do. Norman has not only grown in confidence but also in happiness. He absolutely adores the staff and his fellow canine friends. Thanks to the excellent training and structured activities, Norman has become a well-behaved little guy. He no longer goes nuts when the doorbell rings, has mastered the art of Temptation Alley, and eagerly strives for a chance to get a certificate. It’s heart warming to see him so engaged and fulfilled. Norman’s excitement when we arrive at Little Paws is palpable – he can’t wait to get through the door! And when he comes home, he’s happily exhausted, which gives me a much needed break to focus on work without feeling guilty about neglecting him. I wholeheartedly recommend Little Paws to anyone considering day-care for their dog. The positive impact it has had on Norman's life is beyond words, and it has made my work-from-home life much more manageable. Our puppy has been attending little paws club for a few weeks now and she absolutely loves it. She gets very excited when we arrive to drop her off. We love receiving the all photos and videos throughout the day, showing how much fun she is having with her friends. Very impressed with training and enrichment elements. The staff are all lovely and take great care of our baby. 🥰
When do I begin? When Ralph started coming here he was not himself, he was grieving due to the lost of my other little doggy. The transformation in him over the past few weeks is amazing! The care, love, stimulation and training the dogs receive is outstanding: At work, I eagerly await for the daily pictures of what he has been doing. The whole team love your babies as much as you do. Tust me, I would not leave Ralph with just anyone however, here I know he is loved and living his best life ❤️ Since Ralph joined he has come home with gifts too! Mothers day card and cookie, a medal for training, doggy pancakes; they even do daily awards for dog of the day. Thank-you to the whole team. My dog comes home so happy and fulfilled. The staff work very hard to give them a great experience with stimulation and training. All of them are very caring and give a wonderful and safe environment for the dogs. Hettie loves them all ❤️
My dog Robbie loves it at Little Paws. Natalie and the rest of the team keep the dogs entertained throughout the day. Last week it was Barbie week and some of the dogs were dressed up as Barbie and Ken. The daycare is well run and I am kept informed throughout the day by photos/videos of what Robbie is getting up to. Also, the daycare is licensed by the Council which shows that the daycare conforms to requirements set out by the local authority. If anyone is looking for daycare for their dog/puppy I would recommend Little Paws.
Absolutely amazing daycare, they go above and beyond to make sure your little pup has the best time with lots of themed activities. My miniature dachshund can’t contain his excitement any time we pull up outside daycare
Truly wonderful place and service. They look after your dog like it was their own. It’s such good value for money and gives your pup all day care, as well as training and socialisation with other pups. Highly recommend! ❤️
Little paws take such good care of the pups, they are always kept up to date in training all of their content are amazing and they are so friendly, I highly recommend little paws.

Paws Indoors Doggy School has been amazing for our pup Herbie! He started going at 7 months old and has grown so much in confidence. Herbie knows where we are going and cannot wait to get out of the car! He runs straight to the door and cannot wait for the lovely staff to welcome him in. He runs in and doesn’t look back. Herbie absolutely loves the team and all his new pup friends! The structure of the day is great involving training, enrichment, play and the new sensory garden! We love all of the fun themed weeks including Halloween and Olympics! We also love seeing all the picture updates throughout the day showing us what Herbie has been up too and all the fun he is having with his friends, with the added bonus of winning a certificate. We would highly recommend to all dog owners looking for a doggy daycare.
I’ll never forget the first day I brought my shy cockapoo to Doggy Daycare. The team showed such incredible patience, care, and genuine love that he quickly blossomed, and now, after a couple of years of attending twice a week, he absolutely adores it! The staff’s kindness and enthusiasm are truly remarkable. I never have a single worry about leaving him—in fact, I sometimes feel guilty taking him home because he has so many friends and so much fun! This daycare is beyond amazing, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly to anyone looking for a loving, joyful place for their dog.
Our spaniel absolutely loves her time at Paws Indoors. She is so well looked after by the staff at daycare. Whenever it's a daycare day she's looking out the window waiting for the staff to arrive and collect her and is so excited when she gets to go that she practically runs out the front door. Lovely photo updates during the day and gets to hang out with friendly pups and humans. Paige and the team do a grand job.
My pup just spent his first day at Paws Indoors and he clearly had a whale of a time. I was kept updated with photos and videos as to what he's been doing all day and he's come home so tired from all the fun. It's a great way for him to socialise with other dogs as well as recieve additional training. The staff all seem so lovely too, and clearly bonded well with our pup as I got the feeling he didn't want to leave. Really pleased.
What an amazing business! My puppies are well cared for, loved and thrive on the days they attend. Paige and the other members of staff are helpful, kind and polite. It is very clear that they love what they do. Toby and Dottie have enjoyed activities ranging from swimming, to football, art days and temptation alley. The training that has been started with them has been invaluable. Thank you!
My dog has been attending paws indoors now for three years & I could not fault them! They always go above and beyond, from the different themes each week to all the amazing effort that goes into training. My dog has always been very nervous but has come on leaps and bounds with the care and training from their amazing staff. Paws indoors has became part my dogs weekly routine and he absolutely loves attending.
Margot absolutely loves going to Paws Indoors. As soon as we get out of the car she knows where she is and runs to the door and doesn’t look back! We love getting the picture updates all day to see what she’s getting up to (the pictures from the themed weeks at Christmas/valentines etc are so funny!). The staff clearly put so much effort into making sure that not only are the dogs well looked after, but that they have a well structured, stimulating and varied day, when Margot comes home she is absolutely knackered after a day of fun! You can really tell that all of the staff are real animal lovers and it gives us total peace of mind.
Ralph absolutely loves going to Paws Indoors twice per week… we were apprehensive to begin with as to how he would settle, but he was immediately made part of the family and thoroughly enjoys his time there. Paige and all the staff are fantastic. Bonus Ralph comes home tired 🤣 …
