Irma and Odie take care of my indoor and outdoor cats regularly. I trust them and Posh Paws because their staff are pet lovers and care for my babies as if they are their own. They make a house visit for first timers to meet you and your pets and get a lay of the land. I have peace of mind knowing Posh Paws is taking care of everything while I'm away.

Posh Paws took such good care of our dog while we were out of town for Thanksgiving. I received picture updates and I knew Maddi was being well taken care of. I am so thankful to have found an amazing pet sitter when we need to go out of town. Such a weight lifted knowing they are taking care of my baby as their own.

Posh Paw Sitters and owner Calli are absolutely amazing. Kylo, our 1 year old black lab, has boarded with Calli multiple times and truly never wants to leave when we come him up. He has sooooo much fun and loves getting to spend time with his friends. Knowing that we are leaving our doggo in a safe and fun environment is priceless. Truly could not recommend enough! I had such bad anxiety before this trip because I’ve never left my Honey with anyone except family for more than a day or two. From our initial phone call Callie made me feel SO comfortable. Throughout my entire weeklong trip she sent me so many pics and videos and updates which made me feel so much more at peace. Plus as someone who treats their dog like a child it’s so refreshing leaving your dog in another “home” type environment where you know they will feel comfortable as if they are in their own home versus at a boarding facility. All the extra dogs were just a plus! She’s slept all day since I picked her up this morning which lets me know she had an amazing time. I will never use anyone else!

Highly recommend! Calli is definitely a doggy whisperer. We toured some other options and nothing else came close to the care the pups get here for daycare. Wilson always has the time of his life. Thank you Calli! Edit to add that we also had help from posh paws for cat sitting our two kitties. Our cats loved Miguel and I could tell from pictures they were very comfortable around him. We booked last minute for a holiday week and they still accommodated us and did an awesome job. Would recommend for in home visits for your pets too!

I had the pleasure of having Calli watch my puppy over Thanksgiving, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience! From the start, she was incredibly attentive and professional, making sure to understand my puppy's routine and needs. Throughout the stay, I received regular updates and pictures, which really put my mind at ease and allowed me to enjoy my holiday knowing my pup was in great hands. My puppy was happy, well-cared for, and had lots of playtime. I could tell she was comfortable and loved during her time with Calli. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable, caring pet sitter. Will definitely book again!

My people-shy-pup warmed up to Cali and her hubby almost immediately. That should say it all! :) Calli is helpful and loving to both her fur babies and their parents. Her doggie daycare is very clean and all the dogs we met were very happy. Great experience! We'll be in touch with them again!

Shelby was an absolute dream! Our dogs loved her and she kept the house nice and clean during her stay. They went on daily walks, received lots of cuddles, and love. The whole experience was 10/10! We will be using Shelby again.

Posh Paws is wonderful and truly cares about the animals they watch. I’ve had two family emergencies where I quickly needed a dog sitter and Callie was quick to respond and find someone to help us. They have incredibly professional and caring sitters. Shelby was amazing, she was so understanding of changes in our schedule and I could tell my pups had a great time with her. I will definitely be using her again!

June did an outstanding job keeping my boy for me while I was out-of-town. This was my 1st time leaving him w/ anyone, so I was extremely nervous. June kept me informed of his behavior, his emotional well being, & even made a quick trip to the vet to get some meds for him because my plane was arriving back very late! I would definitely recommend her for in-home boarding.

Heiman Ranch is an ideal place to board your dogs! The facilities are great, especially for large dogs. Renita and the staff truly care for your pets like you would at home. We recently boarded for 19 days and Hurricane Beryl came through while we were away. What I was most at ease about while 1500 miles away from my home during a hurricane, was knowing my pets were safe and secure at Heiman Ranch. Be sure to check it out if you’re looking for a place to board your fur babies!

Renita and her family are great. They take care of your pet like it is their own. Renita is very knowledgeable of vaccines, illnesses etc. I recently had an unexpected surgery. Renita boarded my dog, Libby, right away and is keeping her until I am able to get Libby back with me. Highly recommend Heiman boarding

First time boarding my German Shepherds at Heiman Ranch, but definitely not the last time. They are wonderful people, the price was reasonable and they did a great job taking care of my dogs. The morning videos were fantastic.

Just picked our babies up today, this was our 3rd time using the Heiman Ranch and again there is no doubt they are the only place we want to take our dogs while we are away! They truly are a blessing and treat our babies as their own. Thank you again for all you do ,we will be seeing you again soon! Buck and Lexi are pooped from all the fun they had!!

I’m very particular about who keeps my dogs when I go out of town. So, when we moved to the Houston area I had to find a new place. There were almost too many options, all with really mixed reviews, till I found Heiman Ranch. All the reviews were really good and very consistent. Went and toured the facility, and was immediately impressed. The dogs have plenty of room, inside and outside in their suites. There were several dogs being boarded at the time, and the all seemed perfectly happy. Prices were very reasonable, as well. The daily Facebook video really helped me feel confident about the care they were receiving while I was away.

They are amazing!! They really do treat the dogs like family. My girl had never been left with anyone but family, she was a bundle of nerves, as the days went on we could see in the videos she was happier and happier and felt comfortable. We are so grateful to you guys and we will for sure be coming back!

Took excellent care of our furbabies! We have a senior pup and Renita was accommodating of her special needs. They were very responsive when coordinating the stay and flexible when we had a change in plans and needed to add a day (and a dog) to the reservation. Loved the daily checkin videos too. Highly recommend and will be booking again for our next trip.

I have a very old dog that usually goes with us on vacations & trips. I wouldn't just leave him with an ordinary kennel. Renita and her crew took very good care of my dog during our vacation. I highly recommend them; they're thoughtful and take very good care of the animals in their care.

This place is the best! My dog loved coming here and had so much fun. They are so kind and even foster dogs that are in need on top of everything else they do. Absolutely the best boarding experience I have ever had. They maintain a clean facility and make sure that the animals are taken care of. We had a rough start with our babies just because they were scared and unsure of what was going on. Kelly called us and luckily, we had not left for the airport. We arrived and helped get our babies out of the kennel and accustomed to Kelly and her staff. They take pictures throughout the day and post them to their Facebook page to update the owners of how their animals are doing. Our babies had a blast once they got comfortable. I will definitely be using them for all of our boarding and doggy day care services in the future. Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of our babies!

Brazos Paws is a wonderful place for your doggy kids. We had reservations for our pups to stay there and then Beryl hit. They still took our puppies and kept them safe and happy! When they came home they were not tired or scared, they loved being at Brazos Paws! Thank you for taking care of our precious puppies!

I cannot say enough good things about Brazos Paws! They treated my fur babies so well and made me feel very peaceful about leaving them. We got pictures and updates every day of their stay which made my dog mom heart happy. The communication was amazing, the facility was clean and spacious, and the staff went above and beyond!

These ladies are the best! Excellent care for my doggos while we are out. When our old dog developed a hot spot, they called me and took care of it. Came home all healed. They let me follow them back to see their private room options and outdoor fenced areas. Nothing to hide and proud of their facilities. I'm impressed with the attention to cleaning! They know the personalities of the dogs and treat them like their own. And then in a pinch with the facility about at capacity, they worked with me to find a boarding solution until the room opened up in the afternoon. Glad to have Brazos Paws in town!

Brought our dog over Easter weekend. Rates were great and staff was friendly. A few of them even knew our dog already since he has escaped a few times and been posted on Facebook lol. Pup seemed happy when we picked him up and we paid for the bath and nails too.

Friendly, professional and clean! We were allowed to tour the place and pick a room for the overnight stay. Also included a dog bath. Dog came home happy with any anxiety. Note, this facility requires Canine influenza vaccine.

Our 11 year old lab mix had never been to a boarding facility, so I was very nervous to leave him. The staff was very kind and patient with my neurotic questions. They were very responsive when I didn't see him on the daily Facebook post and put my mind at ease with multiple pictures (he hates to have his picture taken). He was quite content and happy when I went to pick him up. I've already booked his next stay for my next vacation. I can't recommend Brazos Pet Resort enough.

We have an 8 month old Cane Corso named Demi. We dropped Demi off at the the resort for a week. 700 miles later I got a call that Demi was afraid and showing signs of aggression towards the staff. The staff acknowledged that she was feeling cornered. Kelly, introduced herself to me over the phone as one of the managers, Kelly suggested she could take Demi back to her own home where she had an extra room for Demi to stay. Her solution was to take her out of what seemed to be an overwhelming experience for Demi and try to get her to relax in a less hectic environment. Her “without fail” mentality is exactly what you’d hope to take care of your pet while you’re away. Demi, surely would’ve survived but Kelly WANTED more than that for Demi. That’s awesome and my family appreciates y’all. Definitely recommend using them.

Rachel is so warm and playful towards my very spoiled pup! She is reliable, always giving advance notice when not available for walks! She is also flexible and accommodating! I feel comfortable knowing my baby is getting love when Rachel is caring for him!

Rachel was great with my pups, especially my anxious one. She was patient and really loved on my babies while I was away. She kept me informed by sending me update videos...they were fun to watch and I could tell my pups were well looked after. She went above by taking initiative to bring in my mail and water my plants without me asking, too! I will definitely use her services again!

Rachel is great! She was responsive, dependable, and easy to communicate with. I was nervous for someone to take care of my young puppy (and an adult dog too), but she was up for the task and patient with the puppy. She left our house clean and no puppy messes to come home to. Rachel takes fantastic care of my two dogs to give them some extra exercise and potty breaks while I’m at work. My dogs love her and she is very organized and dependable. So I know my puppies are in good hands. She also sends me plenty of cute puppy pictures to brighten my day!

I can't say enough about how fabulous Rachel is as a pet sitter! She always goes above and beyond and always sends videos so I can see how the pets are doing during her visits. She has such a natural way of connecting with animals which is obvious with my shelter dog who is afraid of everyone and very skittish. Rachel is so amazing, it only took 3 visits for my dog to be comfortable enough to jump up on the couch and sit with her. Also, she's helped me figure out ideas of how to overcome my dogs picky eating. Rachel is always so responsive and has the most friendly and upbeat personality. Feel so lucky to have her care for our pets and most importantly help my dog come out of her shell!

I have no words to explain how good,amazing, incredible (and I can go on) Rachel was to our babies while we were on vacation. She was literally their mom. She not only take care of all their needs, but she played with them, slept with them, teach one of my babies so many skills she didn’t learned in 10 years with us. At the beginning we were nervous because they are two pit-bulls and it was the first time we leave them with somebody, but as soon as Rachel walked in to our home all that worry washed away. They are all besties now and they had such a great time together. They didn’t miss us at all, because the love and cuddles Rachel gave them was endlessly. I recommend Rachel 200% but at the same time we want her all for ourselves lol. If you are looking for a reliable, caring, loving, trusted and amazing pet sitter and human being, she is the person. Ron and Drew did a great job with our lab pup. We took him to Oakwood kennels at 7 months old for three months of obedience and retrieving training. We were amazed at the difference we saw when we picked him up. He now has solid obedience and a strong desire to retrieve. I would highly recommend Oakwood kennels to anyone looking to improve their dog's obedience and/or hunting skills.

We took our 2 German Shepherd puppies to Oakwood Kennels 4 years ago to be trained. We didn't want our adorable little puppies to grow up into big misbehaving dogs. We wanted them to be trained so that when people came into our home they would not be afraid of being "mauled" by our dogs. They took our puppies for 3 months and when we got them back they were trained both off leash and on. Our dogs don't jump on people, they enjoy being around other dogs, and obey the commands we give them. Alana, Zach, and Ron were very helpful and kind the entire time. After we got them back they would come over if we were experiencing difficulties and even when we weren't to see how the dogs (and us) were doing. We are so glad that we took our dogs there. During the next four years we have frequently brought our dogs to be kenneled there. We know that they love our dogs and take excellent care of them. They always go above and beyond in their care of our dogs. It is such a relief to have such a wonderful place to care for our beloved dogs. My husband and I highly recommend Oakwood Kennels.

Our lab spent a little under 4 months being trained at Oakwood Kennels. He is so obedient now and will also be an amazing hunting dog. They loved my dog just as much as I do and took great care of him and he is still a playful/loving dog. Highly recommend Ron and his team at Oakwood Kennels. They can train any dog.

I was utterly impressed with Oakwood Kennels. When caring for our extended family, finding the right team is important. The staff showed genuine compassion towards our babies. It was evident that the trainers thoroughly enjoy their roles and effectively trained our pups in no time! I highly recommend using Oakwood Kennels and would have no hesitation in returning to use their services!

I wouldn’t trust anyone else with our dog. My dog is so happy and well cared for when she’s with the amazing people at Oakwood Kennels. It’s so comforting when we are away that she’s at such a great place. Vacations are more enjoyable because of them. I HIGHLY recommend Oakwood Kennels for you fur baby.

AWESOME PLACE!!! BRING YOUR DOG HERE!!! Was very pleased last year with the dog training we got for Blaze and Sugar. The facility is nice and clean. Zack was very open with us about our puppies issues and what he can offer to assist our situation. Everything went great. Blaze knows all obedience commands and is now off-leash in public. Sugar is our house dogs. Thank God Oakwood Kennels and Zack made it possible for us to keep our dogs. Blaze was aggressive and Sugar tore the house apart. Not anymore. After the training, both of our dogs had the same spirit but had a whole new excellent set of skills.

We've been using Oakwood for about 5 years now. The staff is always so great and our "baby" Bailey is always VERY excited every time we arrive at the kennel and runs right in! This tells me she must get lots of loving while she's there.

Great service, got recommended here by a family friend and they did not disappoint. Highly recommend Oakwood Kennels. They are passionate of their dogs & you can 100% tell they enjoy what they do. 10/10 recommend getting your dogs trained and boarded with them!!

My Lab went in as a normal 1 1/2 year crazy, ill mannered, goof and came out disciplined, trained on retrieving rules and just a totally different dog. Do your self a favor and take your normal whacked out lab to Ron. Best move ive ever made with a dog. Will be ready for duck season. He loves the dogs and they love him.

First time taking my pup Hazel to the groomers with Meadowlake on 288 and to sum it all up, Melissa did amazing! My little poodle was very matted and honestly thought she would have to be shaved but that wasn’t the case. Melissa was able to style her to look like teddy bear and her little short tail was also styled beautifully. I appreciate the care and comfort given to Hazel. We will be back as it’s not only convenient from where we live, but the salon is clean, has friendly staff, and most importantly welcoming. Happiest of holidays and see y’all soon! -Amaan and Leslie

Everyone we ever talk to is so nice and helpful and we LOVE getting our dog groomed here. She made me aware of the changes they made to ensure this doesn’t happen to us or anyone else going forward. If you ever consider making a grooming appointment here, I highly recommend Joy or Melissa. They get it right every time and pay great attention to the notes we give. Our dog looks incredible. Thank you Courtney, Dawn, and everyone else that has helped us! …… This is specifically regarding RESERVATIONS and the 288 location. This does not have to do with daycare/lodging or the grooming quality itself. The grooming quality is actually fantastic if you can get in with Joy or Melissa. The problem I have is that I’ve come in on the weekend for my dog’s grooming appointment TWICE with nobody inside working or taking customers at 8am. However, this is the time that the customer portal told us both times AND it’s the time that reservations told us over the phone both times! The first time it happened, we said okay mistakes happen, there was a miscommunication or something. My husband sat in the parking lot for an hour waiting for someone to come and finally around 9am somebody arrived. Last week when we scheduled my dog’s grooming appointment over the phone again, for a weekend slot, my husband was told to drop off at 8am. He mentioned that he was told that before but nobody was there and the reservations person ASSURED him that drop off began at 8am and someone would be there. Later when I received an email asking to confirm the appointment, it logged me into my portal and AGAIN said 8am. My husband was there at 8:05 this morning. You know the rest. It is a waste of our time to go out there to an empty building when we have an appointment and have to either wait or assume people will be there sometime later and come back again. Fix your portal. Fix reservations. Or fix your employee schedule. You don’t have to have drop off at 8am, I just want to be told the correct information! Please!

Great customer service, I went to look at the place for Sassy to go to while we go out of town but she hadn't had one of her shots. Maybe next time.

Choosing Meadowlake for daycare for my border collie was the best decision I've ever made! Not only is facility and pricing amazing, but the staff is just phenomenal. Every single person that works here is kind, professional and genuinely loves dogs. They take such great care of Kirby that it literally makes my heart melt. She is beyond excited every time we are pulling into the parking lot. Like trying to jump out the window excited! Lol She gets all of the love, playtime, mental stimulation and energy exertion a border collie could ever want at daycare while I am working full time. This makes us both super happy! I simply cannot rave enough about this place. Not to mention the fun parties and discovery daycare options. I recommend this wonderful establishment to anyone looking to board, train or put their dog into daycare!

my girls spent 2 nights here last weekend - they came home healthy and happy (no coughing/good poops/not stressed or anxious)! they also did a fab job on their baths - came home fluffy fresh! well worth the drive!

We moved to Galveston 2 years ago and have been looking for a kennel where we could board our 2 rescue dogs. We tried a couple and overall, we were very disappointed. When we came to the Canine Castle, they immediately recognized that our dogs were fearful of people and knew exactly how to treat them (with patience and understanding!). Our dogs are flourishing at the Canine Castle. The Castle has done an amazing job of socializing our dogs and helping them to trust people and other dogs. We did the pre-boarding doggie day care and was amazed when we picked them up that afternoon. They were just hanging out with the other dogs in the great room! They were happy and exhausted, which is always a good sign! Since then, we have boarded them twice and it has been a great experience both times. We plan to continue to bring them to doggie day care on a regular basis, so they stay familiar with the Canine Castle. The owners and staff really take the time to get to know each of the dogs and they truly care about the dogs in their care. The facility is unique and has very nice accommodations for any type of dog(s) and price range. One thing I really like is they post pictures daily so you can see what your pup is up to while you are away. I would recommend this place for any dog, but if you have dogs that are fearful or timid, there is no better place you could go. It is well worth the hour drive for us to know that when we must be away from our dogs, they are being well taken care of and just as importantly, they are respected and loved.

I have used Canine Castle to care for my dogs for a few years, and the first experiences were positive. On the most recent trip my dog was given what I was told a bath, but based on her aroma, apparent lack of brushing and nail trimming I disagreed. Upon arrival home I noticed my dog had inner and outer ear irritation that a few days later I noticed had spread. After treating her ear, the symptoms remained and we took her to the vet. I’m now stuck with a vet bill for several hundred dollars because canine castle refused to offer anything aside from a bath. I was assured by the owner that there were no issues, as she inspected my dog herself; however, was unable to correctly identify her gender. I now have a sad scared dog with no explanation or financial recuperation. I do not recommend canine castle anymore.

I absolutely LOVE this place! And so does my sweet girl, Tulip. She gets so excited when we pull in because she knows she is in for a great day with new friends. My dog is very VERY high energy and I had never had her around other dogs before but the castle and their staff were really patient and loving towards Tulip and socialized her slowly and calmly. Plus all the pictures and updates they send through the day keep me smiling all day. Amazing 5 acre dog resort that offers daycare, overnight care as well as grooming services. My dogs were literally treated like royalty! I have used several doggy daycare/kennels in the area of Friendswood. This by far exceeds any of my expectations. If you have fur babies that you love and want to be spoiled by a doggy daycare. This is your place. The owners are hands on. My babies were well cared for and they are watched constantly. It is a home setting and they are not being kenneled! They roam freely like any family member. The best of the best!!! Highly recommend!

Baxter loves it here! We are RVing full time and are in the Alvin area for 5 months. I read all the positive reviews about The Canine Castle and took a chance. Baxter comes home exhausted and happy. All the staff are friendly and love my crazy Baxter our 2 year old chocolate lab.

We love Canine Castle! Our dog Coco has been coming to board here several weekends over the last year including our 2 week trip to Europe. They are amazing!! Such great care and we never have to worry about leaving her as they are always providing picture updates on Facebook. You can tell they really love dogs and foster a wonderful environment for all different types of personalities and dogs to socialize with each other and accommodate for all energy levels. We also love their spa services here and anytime we get them done she comes home smelling great for weeks! Thanks for all you do to take care of Coco while we are away.

I have two dogs that I’ve boarded a few times somewhere else (not going to blast them here), as well as doggy daycare. I was absolutely unimpressed with there so I looked for somewhere better. Came across Canine Castle on a FB post, saw the great reviews, and decided to give them a try. All I can say is WOW. All of their staff is so wonderful with customers as well as the dogs. My dogs were SO HAPPY here from the moment I dropped them off. One is notorious for trying to stick with me, when I dropped them off she actually left me to go explore. My dogs will be back in 2 weeks, and any additional trips they will be my first call.

I would 100% recommend boarding your dogs with The Canine Castle! Early summer I boarded my two 9 month old chocolate labs for the first time ever with a different local boarder and the experience was awful. A few weeks later we boarded them again but with The Canine Castle per a friends recommendation. Let me tell you, our dogs had a blast! Unlike other places, Canine Castles allow the dogs to play all day and only puts them up for breaks or night time. Gave me peace of mind knowing my dogs didn't feel neglected. The owners are really nice, down to earth people, and uploaded pictures of our pups playing DAILY, while we were gone. We will always use them for future boarding!

We recently moved to Sugar Land, and were looking for a trusted pet sitter who could come on home visits during work days, to take care of our beloved dog 🐕‍🦺. Ray from Awesome Pawz has been great to work with, and has been pro-active in finding a solution that would fit our needs and requests, both in terms of timing and type of visit. It's hard on our pets when we leave town. They miss us so much and they get lonely. But they received so much TLC from Awesome Pawz while we were away, we noticed a difference when we came home. Our dog and cat were both happy and content. Our house looked great (all cleaned up!), and it made returning home a pleasant experience. We love getting Awesome Pawz daily reports and photos of our babies when we can't be home. Ray and Tracy do a great job!

We have used Awesome Pawz for a couple of years now. First, let me say that the owner is always responsive to our emails/texts. We have 2 cats. One is friendly and definitely food oriented (Porter), the other is timid and hides (JiJi). The people that come and take care of our cats are wonderful with them. We feel very comfortable with them in our home. Feeding (getting JiJi treats when he doesn't come out to eat), sweeping excess litter off the floor, taking litter outside, taking pics, bringing in mail, and even watering some plants when we ask. I definitely recommend Ray and all the folks at Awesome Pawz Pet Care.

We are using the company for almost three weeks now and are very happy with the provided services. They come to our house every working day to get our three dogs in the garden, so they will not be closed too long. The dogs love this time, they play, run, and get snuggles.
