Great day care and kennel! My dogs love it there. The staff are so friendly!

Very friendly and professional! We were recently away for a couple of weeks and our minds were at ease knowing our boy Archie was safe and happy at Terra Nova! He loves coming here for boarding/daycare. Great communication and trustworthy - highly recommend!!

We were visiting Newfoundland and needed to board Moe my mother in laws pup. They were awesome! Very attentive staff. Extremely friendly and very very knowledgeable. Great facilities. They took care of Moe and we will definitely be back next time we head home. Use them. They are awesome!!!!

Friendly service, the girls are great with the pets, and the prices are reasonable. My two pups love going here to get their baths and haircuts. I also like the little bowties and handkerchiefs that the girls put on the pups after they get groomed. Will keep coming back as long as they're open.

Terra Nova Kennels is great. Our dog Astro loves daycare there. They treat dogs as if they are their own pet.

I have had my 3 dogs there over the years they are so kind to the pets. Very clean, extremely responsible and reliable. I do not worry about my dogs ever when they go there. They love it when they go there!

Professional care provided for those furry loved ones for a day, or even longer. Lots of space for cats & dogs. Play areas inside & out. Grooming & special attention for those that need it. We avail of their services regularly!

Seems to be a great place... my dog loves it there and he loves the staff... we call it the doggy spa.

One of the best dog daycare/boarding facilities that I have had the pleasure of doing business with. My dog has moderate separation anxiety, which can make both vacations and certain appointments difficult to schedule, but the people at Markwin make him feel so loved! He is always excited to go to daycare he starts whining as soon as we pull into the driveway. Most of the employees know the dogs and the owners very well. My dog has to take two separate medications and when we went on our honeymoon last year they had no issues giving the medications and making sure he was well taken care of. They even post photos of the dogs on the Facebook group so if you send them to boarding you can always check in. The staff is always so friendly and helpful and I don't plan on using another dog daycare ever again!

Markwin is incredible! They loved our dog like she was their own. A very fun and welcoming team... We feel very lucky to have found them!

After our dog had a rather negative experience at another daycare, Markwin has been such a phenomenal experience. You can tell they're very knowledgeable and that the dogs are well cared for and supervised by the staff. Additionally they have been great with grooming Hazel, and we look forward to the updates at the end of the day with how her day went and who she was playing with.

I bring my dog Cash there at least once a week sometimes twice a week, he loves his friends at Markiwin, The brown and white one is my dog Cash.

The staff is very friendly and my dog loves going here. They always greet him by name and take and post pictures during the day so I can see how much fun he is having. I feel confident that he is safe and well cared for when he is at Markwin!

Wonderful knowledgeable staff, clean and air conditioned facility, our American Eskimo male dog loves his home away from home there! In our opinion best option for boarding care for all pets. Highly recommended!

I can't say enough great things about Markwin...their service and staff get very high marks from me. My God has been going there for 7 years now and they take great care of him, whether for daycare or boarding.

Fred and Steve were so kind and gentle with my fur baby. I was in need of help to get my dog from Newfoundland to Ontario and they helped me by providing a comfortable place for my dog to stay while he waited for his flight. They took great care of my dog and even brushed and cut his nails. They even helped me out by driving the dog to the airport and making sure everything was in order. My dog stayed with them for 4 nights and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place. Thanks Fred and Steve. Rover is now home with me and we are so grateful for all that you do.

If organized, safety, professionalism, cleanliness, and honesty are things you are looking for in a place to keep your pets, I would suggest looking else where. We recently had our dog boarded here with the idea that she would be safe. Unfortunately, we picked her up looking like she just survived being outside while we were gone for 7 days. She was given to us with a large gash on her nose that was still bleeding and looked like it was scabbed over which means it did not just happen. Also she entered the kennel at 32lbs and when she left she was a mere 27 lbs. Seeing her bleeding from the nose, filthy, and practically skin and bones is something we never excepted. I called to make sure she was okay while we were away and the owner of the kennel said she was just fine. If these are his standards for keeping his business open, I highly suggest closing it down. Please, if you even remotely love your pet in any way, do not pay any amount of money for them to stay here.

Great people and great with all your pets. Best place we put our little dog. Very nice place and the owner was really nice. Will definitely be bringing him back there.

I was disappointed. We got our baby Charlie from there and we have boarded him there lists of time. We went to drop him off Saturday and no one was there. We waited an hour and no one showed up.

Lovely people. Buy unfortunately the place had a dreadful smell and my kitties had diarrhea and vomited for three days when they got back. Shame as the place looked nice in the pictures.

I wouldn't put my baby with anyone else. Amazing, amazing staff. They take care of my pup, as if he was one of their own. They go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. The PupBus service is a blessing. I use it often. When they come to my home, I tell my pup he's going with his friends and gets so excited to see them. Top notch service.

We love Repuplic pets! We’ve availed of almost every service they offer so far and have never been disappointed. You can trust your pet is in good hands, with the caring staff, they always try to send updates and pictures through their stay. The convenience of the PUP bus takes the added stress out of our day knowing our pup is getting the exercise and attention she needs while we’re at work or away. Kelsey has put together a great team and is always accommodating, we wouldn’t send our pup anywhere else!

I am so incredibly happy to have found Republic Pets for our boarding needs. I have had bad experiences in the past but have only amazing things to say about this place. They never leave the dogs by themselves which is super important to me. They always provide me with updates when my puppy is in for an extended period. They are very easy to work with. And will do anything they can to help. I would recommend them always to anyone who asks

My dog was bitten 2 days after placing her there. No contact from them about the incident when reported to them. Kennel was too small for her, not a good experience. Use caution.

Excellent service. My senior beagle was treated very well. I would like to extend my special thanks to all the staff who toke care of scooby. He loved going there, always got the extra attention and care needed. Unfortunately I my boy passed away on Saturday. It is a big loss he was my partner and best friend for 12 years. I was a customer of this place. Had a bad experience and left. But recently I had somethings come up and had to bring my dog back here. After talking to.one of my friends who informed me of a new employee who is very good with the animals I decided to try it again. I was very pleased with this very impressive young lady who gave me a good feeling about leaving my dog in her care. Don't know what her last name is but her first name was Tina. Keep up the good work.

The staff at Topsail Star genuinely love animals and are experts I trust to consult about anything wild or wonderful that may arise with my dog. Topsail Star offers multi-service discounts - receive 10% off when you purchase a 10-day daycare pass. Staff have even given my dog a bath when she has gotten excessively dirty while at daycare! I believe staff at Topsail Star go above and beyond and I would whole-heartedly recommend their daycare program!

First time using this Kennel to board my dog while we were out of town. A few days later they called me with the distressing news that she was on her side and not getting up. They rushed her to the vet. My dog had bloat (not in any way caused by the Kennel) this is a life threatening condition that kills dogs within hrs and can leave them impacted for life. Because the staff caught this condition so quickly my dog has survived surgery and should have no lasting damage to her digestion or active life. I am forever grateful.

We were nervous about leaving our new rescue here, but were quickly put at ease by the staff who clearly care about the dogs in their care. They occasionally post pics in a facebook group of dogs in the daycare, which you can opt for if your dog is in boarding. We'll be back next time we need to board.

Very upset and uphappy with our experience at TopsailStar Pet Center. Being the first day that we brought our lab puppy, Rosie, who is 4 months, we were eager to see how the day would go. She is an incredibly social, playful puppy who has spent many days in daycare in Torbay and loves to play at the dog park here in the Goulds. She will play with big and small dogs, and she has a lot of energy. Upon arrival, we were assured that Rosie would be grouped according to dogs' size and energy, and that there would always be someone watching. When we arrived to pick her up this evening, at 6:00, the girl brought Rosie out on her leash saying "Um, so, Rosie seems to have hurt her leg and has a real bad limp, she's yelping and really favoring that paw, I had to carry her in." Needless to say, no one was able to explain to me when or how this happened. I was told that more than likely, it was due to it being her first day at this center and she had run around and played a lot. Or, it could have been around 4:00 when they had to round up the other dogs. I explained that I was really upset that no one had thought to call or notify me. I honestly cannot understand how they couldn't have noticed (as they claimed), seen as how Rosie is unable to walk. When asked if I should take her to the vet now, the owner told me "I wouldn't say NOT to take her." I wasn't offered any type of apology, explanation, compensation, or sympathy, really. We were really bothered by the whole exchange and experience, and it really seemed like there was a lack of understanding or appreciation for the situation. Unfortunately, it will certainly be our first and last visit at TopsailStar.

My dog Toby started attending A Dog’s World last summer and I would never take him anywhere else! There is no one I trust more to watch my boy for 8 hours a day than Jodi, Jess, and the rest of the gang. They ensure he and the other doggos are safe and sound. I 100% recommend them. ❤️

Best pace for your puppo to meet friends and burn off some energy. The staff is so friendly, and you can tell they love and take care of the dogs as if they were their own. Highly recommended.

It's difficult to find quality petcare in this city. We've had a couple of disappointing experiences. That said, A Dog's World rises to the top. Our boxer loves going here and he's so tuckered out when he gets home and in a good way. This place just seems to get their core competency and it shows. We couldn't be happier.
