Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.

I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!

Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!

Misti
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!

Lilly & Thomas
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.

I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. Pares is an experienced and quality sitter and we knew our cat Juniper (and a few plants) was well cared for. We received regular updates and photos which was really nice to have during our travels. While we missed Juniper, we could see that she enjoyed receiving cuddles and attention from Pares. Upon returning home, our flat was clean and tidy, and Juniper was very happy! Chris was an outstanding pet sitter and I would definitely use him again! He is reliable, responsible, and thorough. I was able to FaceTime Chris prior to the sit and he spent a lot of time answering and asking questions. I felt confident after speaking with him. Throughout the weekend, Chris communicated clearly through texting. He let me know when he arrived and left which was helpful. He also sent photos and updates of both my cats. My boy cat has occasional anxiety issues which cause UTI's. Andy had a flare up while I was away and Chris was very attentive to him and let me know how he was doing. Chris did not seem to mind taking extra care of him which I very much appreciate. Chris left my house clean and even washed the sheets and towels he used before leaving!

Sharon and Milton are two of the nicest people I've met in my life. This is my first time having a sitter fly in from out of state and it was so simple, stress-free, and didn't affect any part of me getting ready for my trip, leaving for my trip or returning from my trip. Sharon was very communicative before, during and after I returned. It just couldn't have been more wonderful! If you're considering applicants stop looking and choose Sharon and Milton. They are just delightfully wonderful wonderful people!! They go above and beyond just housesitting and pet sitting! Tidy, clean, respectful down to earth and the most kind and loving people. I do believe Milton really is a cat whisper!! They slept with my sweet babies, and even followed silly grooming instruction on one of my cats. Would have them sit for me absolutely anytime.

Elisabeth was an excellent sitter for our cat. We were away for two weeks and received daily photos and notes from her about Catman's activities (i.e., sleeping and eating). She is definitely a cat lover and that was evident from our cat's calm behavior when we returned.

Oh wow! Everyone should be so lucky to have Nicholas and Veerle watch their house and pets. These lovely people are pros! They communicated early and often, were super accommodating to some last minute changes (it was originally going to be only our cats to watch but we decided to keep the dog home as well so that added to the schedule and care needs) and they left the house spotless and all set up for another sitter who came in after them. We didn’t get the chance to meet because my departure and arrival times but I dearly hope I get to in the future because they were just great! I even heard how nice they were from My neighbors who say them out walking our dog. :-) They also sent regular pictures of the pets which look like pro-photography! Cannot recommend this couple enough! Your pets and house will be in good hands!

The dogs come home happy everytime we leave them there. Kennels are clean with good outdoor access for the pups. Connected indoor kennels are nice because we have 2 dogs and 2 puppies so they can stay together but not be crammed in. 10/10 would recommend.
The kennel area is very clean. They have an indoor/outdoor kennel for each dog and the outdoor area is covered. My dog came home as clean as I left him. This is not always true at other places. There are security cameras in place and they keep music playing so the dogs don't get worked up hearing things from outside.
Josie is a wonderful lady....she always accommodates....even on short notice. Her facility is always clean and neat. We have just moved farther away, but will drive the extra distance for boarding.

Canceled my reservation last minute due to a barking sog she was boarding and her neighbors complaint. Sue told me she was no longer boarding puppies due to their high energy and anxiety. We were very bummed.
Josie is hands down one of the best Shar Pei breeders in the world. Just look at her dogs bloodlines and pedigree, many, many champions were born in that kennel. The temperament of her dogs is exceptional.
Our Husky, Storm, received great care while on his doggy vacation at Ricketts Pet Resort. He will be returning!

This place is absolutely incredible. If my dog ever ran away, I would probably check here first (because it’s her favorite place to be). The staff is experienced and they care about every single dog that comes in. The owner will ask you in for an interview first to make sure it is a good fit. She really just wants to make sure your pup will be comfortable there and that you understand what a typical day looks like/how they operate. They don’t have 24/7 online pup cameras and if you need that, you probably need to take a few breaths anyhow ;). They DO have a Facebook and they will post playtime pictures of your dog that day which is always fun to see. DEFINITELY choose this place. They also do boarding which we’ll be using in May.
My four dogs go there all the time. They can't wait to get in the door when we get there. Krista and her staff treat my dogs like one of their own. And the prices are very affordable. I would highly recommend Doggie Detailing

I put down a $50 deposit to reserve a spot for my dogs to stay over the weekend due to a last minute work event. I feel like the deposit was a reasonable request. When I came in to fill out paperwork the day before they were going to stay, I was asked to pay the rest upfront in cash, which I did. At the absolute end of the transaction (after I already paid), they laid out shock/bark collars and told me that the dogs must wear them during their entire stay… I don’t feel like this is a common requirement. Also… Very strange that I was unable to view the area the dogs would be staying in. Although I never followed through with bringing my dogs here, it was a terrible experience, super sketchy and misleading. After talking with friends who live in the Grand Haven area, I learned they also had negative experiences with this business. EDIT::: I had to edit this review due the response from this business. The person who wrote the review and came in the evening they are referring to is my boyfriend… We didn’t want him to write the review under his name because we were still fighting to get back the money we paid.
Brought my pups for the first time yesterday and they LOVED it! Everyone was friendly and informative, and they made me feel comfortable leaving my pups there all day. I highly recommend Doggie Detailing and Resort for daycare and boarding. I'll definitely be bringing my dogs back for daycare and also have boarding scheduled.
The problem with this place is that my dog loves it and now he is asking me " hey Dad can i go back to Doggie Resort? I love it there.Sure , it is nice here but they have better beds and my buddies are there and I bet they are all having fun...plus I can meet more young dogs there...they are more fun and not like the old dogs in our neighborhood" FINE HANK!! I yell. We will schedule another stay. Be careful, your dog may end up like Hank - a Doggie Resort addict!
Friendly and helpful staff. They take cash only. They treated my dog with care while I was away from home. My dog isn't neutered so there was an additional fee and he wasn't in group play. If your dog isn't neutered then look elsewhere for socialization.
Our pups seemed very happy with their stay! We were visiting from out town for a wedding and booked two nights for our Pomeranians. I have to admit I found the drop-off times a bit inconvenient but when we arrived everyone seemed very happy and friendly. I am disappointed that they forgot to return our dog beds and rabies paperwork when my husband picked up the the dogs. That's partially his fault too but I expected they would have everything ready at our scheduled pickup time. Unfortunately we had to leave out of town right away and did not have enough time to return to pick everything up. Overall I felt the price was great and my husband said our dogs were very happy when he picked them up.
