5 stars for Tracy for coping with my two English bulldogs! Made going on holiday stress free with regular updates, pictures and videos of the dogs. Well cared for by the entire family, very grateful for them taking on and looking after our pets like their own, highly recommend 👍🏼

I’ve known Beth and Tracy for some years now, even before they started this business and they are both absolutely lovely and the kindest people you can meet. They love all animals and have a dog and two cats of their own who are the apple of their eye. So I’m not surprised that they care for the doggy boarders as well as they do 💙 We receive daily updates and videos/ pics which is such peace of mind for us. And nothing is any trouble to them, even the fact that my dog is big, sheds and can be a slobbery goofball 😂 Our boy, Sherlock went to kennels once and he was miserable for a week and wouldn’t eat, but Beth and Tracy treat the dogs like part of the family and our dog always goes to them and comes back sooo happy! Dear Beth and Tracy, I cannot thank you enough for the love you show these babies and continue doing the amazing job you’re doing! Thank you so much from all of us xxx

We found Cumnock Happy Dog Days in summer 2021 after a disastrous trip with our 3yr female cockapoo to a local kennels. Our holiday was pending and the kennels refused to take her cause she was upset and barking constantly. Beth & Tracy are absolute stars they only take 2 dogs at any one time, they provide home from home care which mimics the dogs own life in their own home. They care and understand the worry you have when leaving your dog. They send regular updates and we cannot fault them at all. Our dog has been back for a weekend stay since and will be going next month again as well as for our holidays next July. Highly recommended xx

Layla is a lockdown puppy and has been at home with me since the beginning. I was nervous about leaving her with someone else. Tracy and Beth have been great. She had a couple of familiarisation days and an overnight before going to stay with them for 5 nights while I was on holiday. Layla loves them and I get regular updates which gives me peace of mind. Great service which will give me options for the future 😀

Jarvis has been on his holidays to Tracy and Beth twice. Once for 2 weeks and then for a week. The girls are great with him, they send regular updates and pics. When we go away again it's the girls we'll be asking to watch him. They really are so fond of the dogs they care for which is total peace of mind for going away. Jarvis even learned how to give a paw while he was there ☺️

Tracy and Beth having been walking my boys for a while now when I'm at work. The boys adore them both and they were so patient when one of them was a little strange and crabby. I really can't recommend their service enough. I feel so content knowing the boys are in expert hands with the girls. Keep up the great work

Great service, I had a blind old girl and a mad boy. They enjoyed there time away from there mummy and were spoiled rotten.

We've had our 20 month old retriever here a number of times in the last couple of months. We weren't sure how she'd get on and felt like bad dog parents for leaving her, but it turned out to be a godsend! Sarah is so kind and welcoming and Rosie loves to go and stay at doggy daycare. As soon as I turn into the drive, she gets excited and it's one of her favourite places to go. Plus, it's really affordable. I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone

Sarah provides an amazing service!!!!! We were anxious about our 2 dogs boarding, but Sarah is so lovely with them, that our anxieties went immediately!!!! Our dogs were treated as members of the family and were given loads of love and affection. Please don't look elsewhere, Teddy Bear Pet Care is fabulous!!!!! ❤❤❤

Placed our dog for just over two weeks. He settled very well and came home full of beans. Happy to use them again.

Booked our dog in to cover our upcoming honeymoon this August directly after a successful stay in February. 2 weeks before our wedding and Knowhead are unresponsive to us on any means of communication, phone, text, Facebook or email. Had to find last minute accommodation for our dog, a simple reply to any of our communications even if they had made a mistake in the booking is the minimum level of customer service I expect to receive from a company. **update due to reply to review, we had been trying to contact for several weeks with no reply, if this was due to a holiday then fair enough but to this day, several weeks later we still have not recieved any correspondence from any messages we sent or answer phone messages we left, only a reply to this review**

Stan, our Vizsla, had a fantastic time with David, Katie & most of all his running pals! He had a 5 night stay & with daily updates with photos you’re guaranteed to have a worry free holiday knowing your pup is in safe hands. Thanks guys☺️

Here for doggy training class. Nice set up for training, agility course looks fun, informed they have fields for dogs to run around and play in also.

Beautiful, safe, area for dogs to run, sniff, play. Well maintained and very therapeutic for the owners too. My rescue dogs can only be off lead here and they love it. I love seeing them really come out of themselves and enjoy the freedom, since they've been coming here, their confidence has grown.

Was extremely happy with our doggy day out here with our miniature jack russel Toby & fostered Rottweiler Archie. Such a great planned out place with peace of mind for ourselves to let our doggies enjoy themselves. Only regret was not booking longer as could easily spend longer there they really have thought of everything it’s a lovely place and love the quirky features. Will definitely be booking again and can’t wait for our next visit!

Visited for the first time today and was soo impressed, it was fantastic, such attention to detail and well thought out safe spaces with dogs needs at the forefront but which were also beautiful for the humans too, not to mention excellent value for money. My romanian rescue who can be reactive and so requires safe spaces to really let loose had an absolute ball and slept soundly all the hour journey home. Will definately be taking him for another visit hopefully in springtime . Thank you very much 😊

We have been coming here for 6 years. It is doggie heaven! Only downside is one of my dogs barks constantly from leaving home all through the 40 minute journey as he is so excited and knows where we are going!! 😲 All the other dogs do the same when we leave the bypass! 😁 Always something new being added. Margaret has created an amazing place.

Fantastic facility for a dog birthday party! Large field area with plunge pool for the dogs and outdoor seating for the adults. Agility area for the budding crufts enthusiats or just for the dogs to run about daft. Then a beautiful wooded area with a stream for the dogs to cool down in the shade.

My favourite place in Ayrshire for a secure walk with my dogs. They give the perfect space for dogs to run in an open field whilst also having a lovely woodland area with a small stream in it. Perfect

An excellent adventure for dogs and kids alike. Our Hugo hated it!!! He hated waiting in the car for his turn, he hated going back in the car to go home. But he loved everything else that was on offer from the agility course to the plunge pool. He even paid his respect to he who went before him. All hail Axl. Back again, our Hugo is definitely living his best life right now

We and our dogs absolutely love it here. Been twice now and it's such an amazing feeling letting our little terriers off the lead to follow their noses until their heart is content! Highly recommend this place, the owners are obviously very passionate about making this an amazing place for the dogs (and us humans) to have fun! Haven't used the agility bit as ours are not into it. But they love the field and the go sniff area! Secure, fun and beautiful with the wood carvings and the fairy house. The Go Wash facilities are great and the owner is always there to make sure everything is ok or to see if you need any help. Last time we washed the dogs, they smelled lovely for weeks! Such lovely products, clean and very efficient shower! Thank you so much for creating this amazing place!

Go play go sniff is amazing for dogs & owners as ur dogs are off lead in a very secure area. All 3 areas are very well maintained and Margaret has put her heart & soul into making it the best place around for dogs would recommend to everyone

Would highly recommend Hilltop Kennels. My 2 dogs stayed for 16 days first time and they looked like they loved it. Pamela kept me up to date with how they were doing and her daughter took some amazing photos of both dogs. Definitely made my holiday to know both dogs were so well looked after.

Dogs came home fitter than they went in thanks to being able to run off some energy in the paddocks. Great kennels and cannot recommend them enough. Really appreciated the photos and updates when we were away. You can tell from the photos that the dogs seemed happy which was great.

My two dogs Alfie and Giles have recently had a few days holiday at Hilltop kennels and are back home happy, clean and very content, that tells me they have enjoyed their stay.They have stayed a few times and have never had any worries.The first stay we had lovely photos taken of them and ment to ask for more but shall hopefully remember to say next stay.We highly recommend these kennels and our dogs will definitely be back. Pamela and Natalie have a genuine love of dogs. My beloved greyhound Louis has stayed with them at Hilltop a few times and always returns calm and relaxed. I wouldn't put him anywhere else.

Brody had a great first time stay at hilltop kennels. The ladies looked after him wonderfully. His kennel and the facilities were immaculate and the photographs were excellent. Would highly recommend them.

Freddie and lacey are back from another stay here and smelling lovely, pamela and Natalie are so good with them and I know they always enjoy their stay with them which is always reassuring, wouldn't go anywhere else, thanks again ladies

Ziggy enjoyed another 2 stays at Hilltop in December. Picked him up this morning, Ziggy his bed and blanket were very clean and smelling lovely. He was that well cared for he couldn't care less when I picked him up, and would have happily stayed. More interested in going for a walk with the girls than getting in the car. The kennels are spotless and the staff treat him like part of their family when he visits for his "holidays". We receive updates regularly on how well he settled. We would definitely recommend and will book again. X

Pat & her staff have looked after my dogs for years, They are so kind and caring how could your dog not enjoy it? My dogs even know where they are going when we get to the outskirts of the village and become excited !! A real home from home with people that care. 5 star all round, I recommend these kennels to everyone, clean, comfortable care for your favourite friend

Cannot recommend these kennels highly enough. The girls who work there are so dedicated to their jobs. My dog always looked forward to going there, she was an older dog who had never been in kennels before but she loved it.

Highly recommend! My dog has been going there for 7 years. A true home from home, she loves it, Gets so excited when we turn into Doctors Road she knows she is going on holiday!

Never did I expect my dog to settle Molly is a very nervous and spoiled dog, absolutely over the moon with all the staff and the owner highly recommend Blackbush Kennels thank you all .

Access to these kennels is from Main Street, Ochiltree via Doctors Road, a narrow lane next to Community Halls. This road surface has been very well maintained. Be mindful of oncoming vehicles as passing space is limited. (For road safety reasons there is no direct access from A70)

Our dog has stayed here on three occasions over the last few months. The latest stay being nine days. He has always come out healthy and happy. The owners and staff have been brilliant and very accommodating to last minute requests for kennels. We cannot recommend them highly enough

Friendly polite staff who genuinely care about the dogs in their care can't imagine anywhere better. I used them years ago standard's are as good as they were then.. Cant recommend them high enough please visit yourself you won't be disappointed

I would recommend lawyersbridge dog boarding. Our dog has been twice this year and came home happy, healthy and his usual self. Friendly owners. Nice people

Thought I had found the place eventually for my dogs to be safe and secure,but how wrong was I.Turkey for 2 weeks sent numerousmessages to see if dogs were OK with replies of they are doing great,upon picking them up I realised my boxer cash had a big open woundon his cheeky and numerous puncture wounds,the owner of the business said it was a cleg bite after this she went on to say her dog had attacked cash but this wasn't a result of it,the dogs are left to there own devices running free all day long with no supervision this is why they are not booked and vacancies available,I took him to vet and they said definite dog bite and needed antibioticsand cream for several week's,this could have been avoided if she had done the right thing and took him to the vet and could have been on the mend but she has to much going on with trying to run a business with workers being paid pennies to run it for her ,she said she though she was doing the right thing not asking him to the vet ,weird from someone who says she has years of experience,but obviouslyguys she talks the talk but can't walk the walk ,this is my honest opinion and maybe something that she will learn from but that came at the expense of my dog and family member been hurt to the extent it could have changed his temprement luckily he is doing well no thanks to canine castle,the name is great the care is terrible
