Thank you so much to you all for looking after our girl Shadow for a few days, she is a nervous pup and had never been in kennels or away from us since we got her so we were anxious leaving her but there was no need to be as all the staff here put our minds at ease and she was clearly loved and looked after while we were away. 100% recommend and will definitely be using again in the future! xx

We went on holiday for 10 days and our 2 huskies had a 10 day holiday here! I was so worried leaving them for so long but they’ve absolutely loved it, come back happy fed and exercised! I would definitely recommend Morton villa pet hotel to anyone. Thank you to the lovely staff!

You were kind and understanding when we told you that our other cat died few days before we had to drop them off both. You took Tilly a day later than we had agreed because we decided that was best for her considering she was grieving for her companion. Tilly came back happy and we are glad to have her back. I wish I could give more stars to Liz and her team. We sent our reactive rescue German Shepherd here for just over 2 weeks who is known to display signs of aggression towards people and who doesn’t like strangers going anywhere near him or interacting with him. We was so nervous to send him to the kennels however, when picking him up he came out the happiest dog ever, who just wanted to be cuddled and stroked by Liz during his time at Morton Villa. Our boy, who was so scared of the world who once wouldn’t let anyone near him let Liz handle him without a muzzle on or a care in the world. Honestly an amazing team who know exactly what they are doing. He came home looking all nice and groomed and smelling nice. Couldn’t recommend enough and will be booking our dogs back in next year.

Well maintained housing for the dogs and cat, which were well looked after and were in good condition and happy when we picked them up. The staff were helpful and friendly.

We have kept our two lurchers here a few times over the past 12 months after being disillusioned with where we kept them prior. The last time was a two week stay over new year into January 24 . The staff here are superb and they definitely go the extra mile to help if there's any specific needs for your dogs. Our dogs always come back to us happy and with no weight loss ( unlike the last place) I think the paddocks make a massive difference with our dogs as they are a very active breed and need the space to run about. I would highly recommend Morton Villa for your dogs ,we will definitely be giving them a few more holidays here ,whilst we have ours!!! Dave and Jacqui Ellis

Fantastic 5* care given to our very nervous whippet Blue. Nothing was too much trouble. We travel approximately two hours to drop him off and pick him up but this boarding kennel is worth it. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with him. Thank you Morton Pet Villa.

I wish I could give 10 stars instead 5, liz and the team here are absolutely welcoming and fantastic binky my chihuahua suffers with really bad anxiety we was optimistic about leaving binky here but I advise anyone please do leave your animal here as my dog has had such a fantastic stay like she was at home and im really happy with her stay thank you very much Liz and the Team!! she will definitely be coming back once again very big thank you!! very happy!!!

First time we have put our dogs in kennels and I’m so glad we chose Croftmount they looked after our two French bulldogs amazingly, nothing was too much trouble, they also sent photos to show us they were ok lovely spacious kennels , TV, radio , lovely secure field to run around off lead in and not mixed with others Can’t thank Croftmount enough for looking after our boys .

So well organised,ultra caring and homely. Our dog can be anxious away from home ,but after settling in he clearly loved his time at croftmount. He was calm and happy when I arrived to collect him.

Absolutely delighted to have had this place recommended to me by my dog trainer. We have an incredibly anxious cockapoo and I never really believed we'd be able to leave her happily. She had a day visit to Croftmount followed by just a one night stay to see how she got on before we booked her in for longer. She ate well, looked relaxed in the photographs of her outside and even enjoyed cuddles. When we went to pick her up she went over to the lady who'd been looking after her to give her a nose bump first before she enthusiastically greeted us. I feel 100% confident leaving my dog at Croftmount and recommending it to others.

A friendly, safe, comfortable place that was clean and welcoming. The staff were knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. The accommodation was first-class and roomy, they even have TVs in every room. The graden is large and secure, our dogs are always happy to stay.

Our two 🐕 dogs Bandit a Collie Labrador cross age12 and Angel our 2 year old Jack Russell stayed here whilst we went away in May. We we're so impressed with the care they received and the regular updates and photos were 👏 amazing! We will definitely be using these kennels again. Thank you for taking great care of our babies.

This place is absolutely amazing. Last minute booking to get my fur baby in and they managed no problem and was accommodating from the 1st moment of contact, when dropping Arya off the place looks amazing and super clean. It was clearly a holiday for our girl. She had the most amazing time and was given regular updates on how she was doing. Couldn't of asked a better place to look after her. Thank you so much. absolutely fantastic Kennels. I honestly would not take my dog anywhere else. Our dog Delta feels at home every time he visits. I can go away knowing he his fine and very well looked after. Fantastic kennels! Would recommend to anyone. Our 2 very energetic Weimaraner’s are always very well cared for with lots of walks and attention! Huge field out back which is great for them to safely run off their energy! Never any issues and always kept updated whilst away with photos of them playing outside and enjoying their stay. Great and friendly staff and extremely clean! 5* stars!

My 2 ' babies ' have stayed at Croftmount several times from when it first opened. They have always been well looked after in clean, comfortable and spacious kennels. And always looked very happy when we went to collect them. I know they are safe there and can rest easy whilst I am away. The staff and Janette the owner go the extra mile for the dogs if they need special food or medication. I even have then groomed at the Resort too. Highly Recommended.

Merlin and Cooper have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the pet resort and they loved it. I was fretting on holiday but was updated with pictures and they were having such a good time. The staff are lovely and the place is brilliant especially the secure outdoor space which they loved. Well done Croftmount they will definitely be staying again xx

We have sent our Cocker Spaniel (Sweep) to Animal Magic Family for just over a year now and we have found Vicky to be very reliable and her new venue / facilities are outstanding. Sweep goes to day care 2/3 days per week plus he stays over when we go on holiday which is great for us and for Sweep as he is in an environment he knows and is not anxious about being left for a length of time. Sweep clearly loves going as he jumps straight into Vicky’s car when he’s picked up in the morning, when he gets dropped off later that day he will sleep most of the night so he clearly has been happily playing all day, we can see from her Facebook and Instagram photos that Sweep is having a great time. We have no hesitation in recommending Vicky as we feel safe in the knowledge that Sweep is looked after properly, he’s exercised and socialised with other friendly dogs. We trust Vicky implicitly to look after our pet.

We recently left our 11 month old Cockapoo for 2 weeks of home boarding, and it is safe to say that he couldn't have had a better time! Vicky clearly loves animals (and they love her too) and he couldn't have been in better hands. Animal Magic Family is set in beautiful grounds where the dogs can play freely, and the quality of care they receive is second to none. I will definitely be getting in touch for future stays and couldn't recommend the service highly enough. Thank you! : )

We ordered a Mad Hatters Tea Party for a birthday lunch for 4. It was delivered to our door and all we could do was say 'wow' each time we opened a box. Animal Magic Family is a wonderful place. Vicky can not do anymore for you and your dogs. We have two beagles that stay regularly when we go away. Our boys love staying with her and almost don’t want to come home!! I highly recommend her for home boarding or doggy day care 😊 …

We have used Victoria for a number of years. Our crazy lovely boy is exceptionally looked after in both doggy day care and doggy stay over. He absolutely loves his time there. Victoria cares for our boys as if he were her own. It such a comfort to know, not only is he enjoying himself so much, but he is so well looked after. It has actually made him a better doggy citizen being socialised and being so well stimulated during his time at AMF.

Took out 1yr old Cockapoo for his first stay over and have subsequently booked in for more. Great to see him running around with other dogs and they even showered him before his return! Great service and see you again soon.

Lilly our 3 half yrs old Vizsla goes to Vicky one day a week on ‘Day care’. To give me a break plus Lilly loves having to whizz or fun play with other dogs. She absolutely loves going there. She also had stayed over during our wedding plus holidays as home boarding type. Lilly hates Kendals as she only went once as lost so much weights. She’s so much happier in home surrounding type of boarding. Animal magic family by Vicky is highly recommend. Lilly been for over 2 years now.

My dog went here on a sleepover for the first time, he returned happy and settled, he will be returning. They offer a wide range of services to meet all dogs needs. They show love and support to animals.

Ruby has been staying with Joe for a number of years, she was recently diagnosed with diabetes and has lost her sight. I cannot thank Joe and Andrew enough for their excellent care of Ruby and administering her insulin. They are amazingly helpful and I feel fully reassured that Ruby is getting the best care possible.

My dog is very happy when here and spoiled. Staff are lovely and get regularly updated. Very clean and accommodating for my dogs needs Highly recommend

We just had our 2 dogs stay with Joe for 8 nights. It was the first time we’d ever had any of our dogs at kennels so were a little apprehensive. Joe sent us videos and pics whilst we were away which reassured us they were happy and doing well. When we got back it was clear the dogs were happy and comfortable and had a good time. They were healthy with wagging tails so what more could we ask for. They even had a bath before coming home which is a really nice touch. Thanks Joe for looking after them so well and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Ashwood to anyone.

This was our first time leaving our dog with Joe and I couldn't be more pleased. We had used our previous kennels for 11 years and unfortunately, they closed down. I was really worried about leaving our 12 year old Jack Russell in a new place but he was absolutely fine. The free bath service was a massive bonus as we didn't have to chuck him in the bath as soon as we got home. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be going back.

We placed our dog here this year for the first time and we were so glad we did. Joe is so lovely very welcoming and puts you at ease straight away. Our dog was happy and well cared for, will definitely use again.

Yvonne is an absolute star. She took my little dog Jimmy, who is blind, for 2 walks on the day of my Dad's funeral. It was a last minute request to her and she was so helpful and caring, I had no doubts about leaving him with her. She sent me texts to say how he was doing and she even asked how I was doing on this sad day. She is a lovely caring lady and Jimmy made a new special friend that day! Thanks again Yvonne. X

I recently got in touch with Freddie’s Friends to see if they had availability to look after my dog, Bonnie for the day as I had a last minute wedding. Yvonne responded to me within minutes and arranged to come and meet Bonnie the following week. Bonnie is quite nervous and doesn’t always warm up to people quickly, but she loved Yvonne straight away, which made me feel at ease. I would definitely recommend Freddie’s Friends if you need a dog walker or sitter. They’re amazing and you can trust they’ll take good care of your pup. Thank you x

Yvonne and Mark were fantastic. They are 2 amazing people with a beautiful house. Honestly wouldn't trust anyone else with our little frenchie. Kept us updated with lots of photos and videos the whole time and it was clear that our little dog had the time of her life. Anyone who needs a dog sitter, I couldn't reccomend Freddies Friends enough.

Absolutely recommend Freddie’s friends, Yvonne and Adrian were a godsend, they looked after our cat Tiddles while we were on holiday, coming to the house twice a day, feeding and playing with her and it was lovely to get daily photos and messages of her enjoying their company,Tiddles’s was a happy little cat when we got home, I felt assured knowing the house was safe and she was very well looked after. Definitely be using them again soon Thank you Yvonne and Adrian you did an amazing job!

Great personal service provided by Yvonne @ Freddie's Friends. My rescue dog Elsa loves being cared for when I am away and goes ballistic when Yvonne arrives to walk her. She sends me pictures and updates so I know Elsa is safe and well and it gives me peace of mind. Highly recommend the service 👍🐕

Yvonne has looked after my rabbits on a number of occasions, they were well kept, cleaned, fed and watered, also let out in the yard to play and exercise. very happy with the service received, would definitely recommend Yvonne, she loves all animals and is very reliable and trustworthy.

My 1 year old C, Spaniel stayed with Natalie over Christmas for 11 nights. She seemed to have a fantastic stay. Natalie sent pictures and videos to show just what a wonderful time she was having. Natalie has a lovely spacious garden with easy to clean artificial grass. She kept the doors open to her house so the dogs could come in and out as they pleased with access to their water bowls. I was completely at easy leaving my fur baby with Natalie and would recommend her to friends and family . 5,🌟 rating from us.

Over the past few years 3 of my dogs have stayed with Natalie and I've always been extremely happy with the service she provides. Natalie knows how to handle and look after dogs, and my cockerpoo Charlie loves staying with her. Natalie is also very professional in her approach, which gives me the comfort and reassurance to be able to enjoy our holidays without him.

My dogs have stayed with Natalie numerous times since they were puppies, and they always come back looking like they've had a good holiday themselves. Pugs are sensitive dogs, and at Natalie's they trot out of the car, through her garden and settle themselves down in her kitchen pretty quickly! It is their second home. We always receive a photograph or two of what they have been up to.

After having a dreadful experience with another dog kennels near to where we live we were happy to find:- 'A Home From Home For Dogs.' Our little Shi Tzu is a nervous little dog plus she is blind in one eye and I had to know she was happy when we had to leave her or go away on holiday. Natalie has been a godsend to us our little Shi Tzu loves her to bits and really enjoys going to stay with her. We started her with just a day to see how she got on but before long she was enjoying her holidays like it was her second home. Natalie has a great empathy with dogs I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her to anyone and knowing your Dogs are safe and well cared for, to me is paramount. Natalie is like my Dogs second Mum X

Used this service for our special needs dachshund for a one-off daycare while we were on holiday. Natalie provides a very professional service, was quick to respond to messages and her home was clean and well setup for dog daycare/boarding . Would definitely use her again.

Would absolutely reccomend to anyone. A much nicer environment than kennels. We were provided with photos throughout our holiday and updated with messages on how our dog was. Been to Natalie. Today with our two westie's Dexter and daisy And it was a waste off time She never really made dexter and daisy feel at easy with her. Well daisy never went near her. And daisy always goes to people . Natalie then said she was happy with dexter and daisy. Said about picking dates for them to come to her. So thought everything was good. Then with him 15 minutes She texted and said that dexter and pee on her curtain s. He never does anything at home. I would say to any one. Don't go to her

Our dog Maximo always has a wonderful time. We can leave him there safe in the knowledge that he will be loved and looked after. Highly recommended.

Our dog Bear has been staying regularly... He is always so relaxed when he gets back, straight back into his usual routines, but when ever we drop him off he's so excited to come back.

My dog loves going to daycare. She runs through the door every time. She's been coming to It's a Dogs Life for almost 2 years now. We are very happy with the care she receives, she comes home tired and happy from playing all day. Given that she showers everyone with kisses and a waggy tail as soon as soon as she gets through the door, clear to me she is in a safe, caring environment.

Yes I am an ex employee which most of the customers know me. I would not lie. I am 35 week pregnant and do not need the stress off sarah, they are customers on here that only take their dogs because they don't have to deal with sarah everyday. I signed an NDA and sarah said I had breached the contract. Which to me by showing photo evidence to the customer about her dogs been crated. Is not a breach at all! I left due to sarah reducing my hours to one day a week due to been pregnant and when I first told her I was pregnant she told me she would have never employed me if she knew I was going to have children. So no sarah I am not a bitter employee! I could have left a review ages ago but chose not to!.

My dog has been going here for over 2 years now and absolutely loves it he can’t wait to get through the door every time and comes back happy as ever staff are polite and friendly really recommend! Grooming is also is wonderful dose a really good job

Our GSD loves it here. The staff are lovely and really know all the dogs. I think Freya behaves better for the girls here than she does at home! They also do lovely little photoshoots for things like Easter, it's adorable and when I got some daffodils from Freya with her pawprint on the card for Mother's Day it absolutely made my week!

Clean, friendly and welcoming environment for both dog and dog parents. Keyworker Mel put me at such ease with her passion, care and knowledge of dogs; genuinely caring for my dogs well-being. Staff send updates too throughout the day, videos and pictures which I thought was a lovely touch and found really comforting. The price of a full day too is so reasonable. Would highly recommend.

Absolutley fantastic place to let your doggies have great fun. My two collies have gone since being a couple of months old. They now drag me through the door. Dogs are very well looked after. Donna is always pleased to see the dogs as they are her. Sarah is very obliging if extra hours are needed due to my work rota. I am so pleased i found Its a dogs life and know both my dogs are in very safe hands. I highly recommend it.

My pup has been going to daycare for a couple of months now and she absolutely loves it! Sarah and the team are brilliant, I know Guinness is well looked after and will have loads of fun All day with her friends. After day care she comes home a tired, happy little pup. She has had her first grooming session today and looks and smells amazing I can very highly recommend both these services and it’s 5 stars from Guinness too 🐶

Staff are amazing and really want the best for our dogs..The price for a full day is well worth the money.. Bruce came to day care at 9 weeks old and has developed so much with his social skills and behaviour over the past three months. There are lots of activities throughout the day too.. Bruce can't wait to come. I would highly recommend its a dogs life..

Been taking my 5 month Border Collie Puppy to It's a Dogs life since he was around 13 weeks old. I can honestly say he loves going every week and he cant wait to see his friends!! The price is the cheapest i have found and the staff who look after the dogs are fantastic. The photos on a daily basis showing what the dogs get up too. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for doggy day care.

Sarah is brilliant! We've been with her every week for nearly a year now and she is so kind and treating my boy fabulous. I feel save leaving him with her and she is always super accommodating! If you look for somewhere: You found it!

Sarah was very accommodating for my little dog, Kamikaze. She had a good set up with a big crate and baby gates all over! We booked it quite late for her to take care of kamikaze while we were out for the day. I came back and she'd even walked him which was beyond what I was expecting. I would definitely recommend Sarah for doggy daycare and if I ever need to use her services again, I won't hesitate.

We have left our puppy with Sarah several times now and she's come back well looked after and a happy pup each time. Sarah is professional and makes a real effort to help our puppy settle. She loves going to see her friends. It has completely taken away any anxiety we had about leaving Tilly when away with work or holiday. I can't recommend Sarah highly enough.

Sarah has been looking after my young puppy Peanut for a few months now and he absolutely loves it. He’s a working cocker and she is a miracle worker and actually tires him out! He is so settled with Sarah, her family and the other doggies he plays with there. Sarah has also boarded Peanut for me and really helped with his training. I would highly recommend her! Marina x

Sarah looked after Basil for the weekend whilst we were away and it was an excellent choice. Her own dogs are lovely, friendly and welcoming and appeared to keep Basil very happy playing with him and looking after him on their walks (I know this because Sarah kept in touch and even sent a little video of them playing!). Sarah was great - clear re instructions and also flexible re my own timings for pick up and drop off. Basil came back happy and - here’s a good bit - nicely tired. I will certainly use Sarah’s service again. David.

The most important thing for me to go away on holiday with peace of mind is know that Finn is being well looked after, and that he’s safe and happy. I know I can count on Jess, she’s the best I could wish for, and I know Finn thinks so too! Jess also has a fantastic team of girls who work with her, totally trustworthy and caring. Have no problem recommending them all 100%!!

We discovered CoCo & Barley 4 years ago before we even had Bella. I contacted Jess for advice regarding socialising a new puppy etc and her advice was invaluable. Jess and her lovely team of ladies have been a constant in Bella’s life! She goes to Daycare and boards with Jess when we are on holiday which was something very important to us that we knew she was safe and being cared for in a home from home environment and she certainly is!

We spent months looking for somewhere that our rescue dog Stanley would be cared for and would feel at home when we needed holiday boarding & day care. We came across Coco & Barley and after reading the reviews and seeing so many photos of happy pups in their care I knew nowhere else would compare. Stanley had his first visit today and I was more than happy to leave him knowing how much fun he'd have. Jess made it all so easy and has been really welcoming and helpful, I'd recommend them without hesitation!

Leaving my anxious rescue girl with someone was a massive step for me but I'm so happy with the service at C&B. Jess is so kind to Badger and sends me pictures of her having fun on her holiday. It's a huge weight off my shoulders knowing she's well looked after and I can have a social life again!

Our very giddy pup goes to coco & barley every week (both for day care and walks) and has done for 2 years now. Bailey absolutely loves it and comes home shattered every time. Jess & the team are all absolutely lovely and the service is brilliant, collecting/dropping off, letting themselves in and out of the house to collect Bailey (who is always raring to go) while we’ve been at home with a newborn has been so helpful but also while we have both been in the office. Personal favourite is the photos on insta so we can see what she’s been up to. Definitely recommend and 100% worth the money.

The best doggy day care and dog walking service in the area, well in the country if you ask me! I used Jess and her team when I loved in the local area and they are the most professional dog walking service that I have come across. They go above and beyond to care for your precious pooches, they spoil them! The day care service is amazing, Jess has created an amazing atmosphere for the doggys and they have the best time whilst there - I know my little pup did. I have since relocated to York and I have still not found a service that is anywhere close to what Jess offers. FIVE STARS *****

Coco and Barley have been nothing shy of extraordinary. I trust them to look after my frenchie no end. The genuine care, passion and love given to all the dogs I have seen is incredible. Coco and barley are professional, approachable and exceed any other services in comparison. We went on holiday for the first time for just over 2 weeks and before hand I was worried about our dog been away from us for such a long time. Whilst away we did not worry and knew our dog was loved and safe. The minute I met Jess I was put straight at ease. She interacted with my dog with love and knowledge of his breed.
