Julia was an amazing sitter and we couldn't be happier with our experience! From our first contact to when we arrived home after our trip, communication was excellent and we were able to enjoy our time away with complete peace of mind that our pets and our home were in good hands. We particularly appreciated how clean and tidy everything was when we got home with the linens and towels all washed and dried! Our cats clearly didn't miss us a bit - they were relaxed, their coats brushed and were giving us side-eye "oh, so, back to normal then? " looks as we unpacked. Thanks for everything Julia!

Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.

Hannah and Joseph were brilliant sitters - totally reliable and trustworthy. Quick to respond to queries and their past experience with dog/ housesitting was very apparent. Our 2 dogs and 1 cat were well looked after and the house was spotless on our return. We are totally happy to recommend them.

Jenima is an excellent sitter! She is organized, communicative and flexible throughout the stay. We needed a sitter at the last minute because Jazz got sick, and Jenima saved us. We left a little worried about him, but Jenima took care of him really well and kept us informed. Cats love her! We definitely recommend her to take care of your pets!

Caroline is an amazing sitter ! We were far away, had never left our cat for such a long period of time and we felt really confident with her. She took great care of our cat Honey as well as she did for the house, pool and garden. She was even able to handle the end of the refection of the bathroom which was a last minute surprise… We felt Caroline was reliable and self sufficient. We had a great communication with her during our stay abroad. We even found many nice intentions when we came back from our vacations such as fresh fruits and bakeries for a nice and welcomed breakfast after a night in a plane ! We definitely recommend Caroline for your sittings and we will obviously call her back !

Jinnie was an excellent house sitter for me and my cat Felix. Completely responsible and reliable and helpfully flexible. She was willing to work with me as I dithered on whether I was actually going to go on my trip (which was dependent on good weather), and when I finally decided on making my trip one day shorter. House was clean and organized on my return, and, more importantly, my cat was calm and relaxed on my return. I would happily have Jinnie come sit for me and Felix again.

Pennee and Bill were the BEST pet sitters and guests ever! I really wanted them to stay forever ! Our cat, Miss Kitty bonded so much to them, that she really wasn’t that happy to see me when I got home .Our cat is a finicky eater and they tried all different types of food and treats for her. They sent me regular photos of miss kitty and I knew everything was great when most of the pics had miss kitty on their lap. Our cat doesn’t take to many people but she immediately fell in love with them. Pennee sent us our mail and prescription meds on a regular basis , and went out of her way to take care of any issues . They fell in love with the neighbors and community and just made our lives so easy . We experienced the Covid 19 virus outbreak quarantine during this time and Pennee and Bill agreed to stay a month longer at our home . They were extremely flexible with their travel plans so that everyone would be safe. Upon our arrival home, we were greeted with a bouquet of flowers , beautiful hanging basket of flowers for outdoors and a beautiful bottle of wine . And our house had never been cleaner ! Bill and Pennee are a pet owners dream couple !I felt extremely lucky to have found such a great petsitter and new friend . We will be visiting each other in the future .

I am very satisfied with swift Creek kennels. It takes a lot of work. The owners have always been kind and I do believe with all my heart they truly care about all animals, especially the dogs. The price is also very reasonable.
I dropped 3 freshly groomed pups off and picked up 3 very stinky pups. The youngest looked very thin after just a few days. And my Great Pyrenees is acting terrified, has three big gashes on his face. I have no idea what went on there but they will not be returning.
John & Toni are such nice people , they are like friends . Biscuit & my shepherd Yoghi ( who I rehomed when I was planning on moving) have stayed there for so many, many weeks . And I really appreciate the care John & Toni provide for them and their other furry guest . Biscuit is always happy to see John wether he is doing me a favor and picking her up from our home in his pick up and a big dog crate he has, or I am dropping her off. I use this Kennel and another Kennel in Prince George and I highly recommend them both. The kennel is very affordable, nice location country like setting, and they also board horses . And John & Toni even worked with me when Biscuit had stayed there for a long time, and I didn’t have all the money to pick her up . He brought her home and let me pay the bill in a couple of installments. The service is professional they will take good care of your four-legged friend . I really didn’t want to believe the reviews but everything aligned. My medium size welsh terrier came to the kennel clean and healthy. When I picked her up she smells as if she was rolling around in feces and she is limping!!! The inside of her paw pads have cuts in them. She is also acting differently. I am going to have to give her a bath immediately and possibly take her to the vet. I am highly disappointed. I would not advise anyone to bring their inside dogs or smaller dogs to this facility. Why is my dog injured and I was not notified? I’m not even sure they used her bed because I bought it brand new and when I picked it up it still looks brand new and does not have the smell that she has. She could’ve possibly been sleeping on the concrete floor. Unbelievable!!
Our dogs have been going to this kennel for over ten years. The service is fantastic and the communication has been outstanding. If you feel that your dog needs an air conditioned suite with a silk bed and television then this ain't the place for you. This is the classic kennel that your dog/s will be taken care of while also socializing with other dogs in their neighboring runs. Yes, the floor is concrete. That makes it easier to clean. Yes, they sleep on the concrete...they're dogs. Each run has an indoor section and a covered outdoor section. I've always said that a kennel should be a place that the dogs are excited to come to and excited to go home. Swift Creek is an exceptional value and excellent service that provides exactly that.
My dog came back with 4 scares that where not there before and he is just not himself and smelled horrible. I Had to take him to get a bath before i brought him home. They did not mention anything to me when i picked him up. I did not see the scares untill i was giving him a bath. I brought his bed with him and they did not even use it. He slept on cold concrete for a week.
Dropped my puppy chunky monkey off on 09/13 and she was fine! Picked her up today she is limping and there is a nick on her back left leg. Was not informed of my puppy having a accident and to top it off my puppy is acting very scared!!!!!! Will be taking her to the vet in the AM. I am HIGHLY UPSET! WHAT HAPPENED TO MY PUPPY!!!!??????? TO ADD SHE STINKS BADLY!!!
ive used these guys 4 times now... dog never smelled, he was well fed, the only thing I didnt like is that there is no heat during the winter when it is 10 below your dog will lie on a cold concrete floor. use them anytime except winter...

We have been so pleased with Lauren since the first day we met her.
