It was my first time using zeewoi so I was slightly apprehensive, but as soon as I heard from Kendra I knew both my cat and my apartment would be in safe hands. Kendra was great with communicating and coming back quickly, very friendly and clearly experienced with sitter jobs. Whilst staying at my place she sent me regular updates. Once I returned home the flat was spotless. I would highly recommend Kendra and I would certainly use her again. She’s great!

Julia was an amazing sitter and we couldn't be happier with our experience! From our first contact to when we arrived home after our trip, communication was excellent and we were able to enjoy our time away with complete peace of mind that our pets and our home were in good hands. We particularly appreciated how clean and tidy everything was when we got home with the linens and towels all washed and dried! Our cats clearly didn't miss us a bit - they were relaxed, their coats brushed and were giving us side-eye "oh, so, back to normal then? " looks as we unpacked. Thanks for everything Julia!

Hannah and Joseph housesat our three kitties for a week and a half while we were traveling for the holidays. They were very communicative and conscientious. We received daily updated on our cats with cute and funny pictures. When they noticed our 17yo cat, Amber, wasn’t eating very much, they let us know and we were able to resolve the problem quickly. They were also very resourceful and understanding when we ran out of some cat supplies. Hannah and Joseph took great care of the house. Everything was very clean and tidy when we arrived back, and we had a short time to get to know them on our arrival. We would be fortunate to find more house sitters like them, and would of course love to have them back in the future! We wish Hannah and Joseph luck in their travels!

Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.

Laura came across the country to sit for us. She arrived a day early and from the moment my pets met her our Lokie was smitten. We have one shy cat Luna and she was out and about on the first night. Laura kept us updated and shared her Adventures as well. We do live in a small hideaway of a town so seeing that she was able to enjoy herself was nice. We returned to a clean home, laundry done also, and very content pets. Lokie was sad for a few days as he missed his friend. We would recommend Laura as a sitter to anyone and would have her back again. 5 plus stars. ⭐

Jenny was an absolute delight, lovely to speak to and patient with last minute changes. I have had bad experiences with trusting people with my cats before so was really anxious as Jenny is the first house sitter I have used from zeewoi. But, I felt at ease as soon as I spoke to her, she has a lovely manner and she came round the day before the sit to male sure she had every detail right. But I think the thing that helped the most was her regular updates about my cats. I could see from the videos she sent they were given lots of love and attention. My cats don't usually play with people but my little girl seemed to love her! My flat was immaculate when I got back as well, I am so grateful to Jenny for all her help and really hope to have her sit for me again!

Ruthee was a fabulous pet sitter for our three cats while we were gone for a month. Prior to the sit, she was consistent and communicative; she even came over early for a meet and greet to learn the routine. During the sit, she took great care of our three cats by playing with them (she made a fun cat toy!), scooping litter, feeding and watering them, and sent us text updates and pictures. We came home to happy fur babies and a clean home. She left the place very tidy which was greatly appreciated! We are so thankful for Ruthee and would recommend her should the opportunity arise. Rick and Sally are marvelous cat sitters and we would gladly have them back anytime. We highly recommend them to any and all pet owners. They arrived when they said they would and were ready to go when we returned, making sure our cats were present before departing. Our home was left spotless, undoubtedly better than we left it for them. We can't urge you enough to engage them if you can!

Super nice sitters and extremely flexible. Really enjoyed their company and I only regret that I was too frazzled to chat with them more and get to know them! Kept the house super clean, pets loved them. Dog especially. Had a little problem with my new kitten not meshing well with the older cats (which was not too surprising since cats can be territorial). Pennee was very patient and gave me constant updates and tips. And the older cat was much more calm when I came home. Highly recommend and welcome back anytime!

Carey is absolutely wonderful taking care of the dogs. Our Frankie goes once a week to daycare and has just started staying over. We know she is in such good hands and do not worry about her. She loves the beach trips and making new friends. Highly recommend! 🐶

We just LOVE Carey. Buster has been in paradise 2 days a week and the odd night for over a year and he is always sooooo excited to play w all the other dogs that Carey has all under control very well! I mean 2 walks a day at the beach! Amazing! Carey is such a caring woman and deeply respects the animals and is very friendly and easy w us owners!!! Hello! Peggy the Westie here! I have just returned home from another awesome little stay with Carey and friends. As soon as I got a "whiff" of my holiday destination I started to whinge and carry on in the car. Then I nearly dislocated my mum's arm in my eagerness to join my hosts. As soon as my leash was removed I took off to play and even forgot to say bye bye to mum and dad ...oops! (Although I have made amends with an extra big loop -the-loop hello upon their return.) Mum says that all my compliments about Carey's may mislead people to think that I live in a small cardboard box and do nothing. In truth, I have a wonderful life and home full of love and adventure. I say that just goes to show how good it is at Carey's.....if it can excite a spoiled kid like me it must be paradise!!
Carey is just wonderful, can't recommend her enough. Fantastic with dogs, huge and safe fenced yard - right across from the beach. My dog loves her two dogs as well.
Most awesome dog carer, trainer and entertainer! Our little Lloyd loves hanging with his besties and Carey at the beach and in her massive backyard. And he comes home with manners!

My little fur baby Spike stayed with the team just before Christmas. Spike has a little bit of separation anxiety but was super happy in the little paws club, he also has medication and the girls where super great with this. I saw regular posts of him on FB and he looked super happy, this put my mind at ease while I was away. when I picked him up he was happy and I will definitely have him stay in the future. thanks for taking good care of my little guy.
Alfie always seems to enjoy his time at Avonlee. We always book in early to make sure we get a place for him. I really recommend Avonlee for short or long stays.
Thankyou once again for looking after our beloved cat Percy. He seems to be very comfortable going to Avonlee now as I know you care for him so well and give him the affection he loves. We’re very glad to have Avonlee in the area to take him when we go away.
This was my 9.5 year old dogs first stay in a kennel. He came home contented and happy which was a great sign. Apparently he made a dog friend who he would play with during free time and liked the staff.
My older dog Chloe has never had need of staying in kennel boarding before due to always having family around to care for her she is 13 years old..This situation has changed now our human kids all are moving out of home..so for an older dog I was worried that she would be anxious about being in a new environment..and I was anxious..but to my surprise on picking her up after 4 days..she was so calm..happy to see me but very keen to go back to the staff and go back inside with them..to me this means she was extremely well cared for, which I was grateful for..and I have no hesitation for future visits or holidays..thanks everyone at Avonlee..
I am always very concerned when I need to leave my cat in the care of somebody that doesn't understand her personality. Even her vet, a cat lover, has described her as a challenge. This is because she was abandoned as a kitten and has lived with nobody but my wife and I ever since she adopted us, insisting we let her into our house and our lives. I said it was never going to happen, but it did because she was brave enough and stubborn to make it happen. Ever since then, whenever we have had to travel, we have left her in the care of the staff at Avonlee Lodge Pet Resort. The staff at Avonlee Lodge have always taken care of her in a way that puts the least amount of stress on both her and my wife and I while we are away. I have total faith in the staff at Avonlee Lodge to look after her and give her the care she needs without adding to any distress she may be feeling due to separation anxiety. I know she is only a cat but I made a commitment to look after her when I let her into my life and part of that commitment is ensuring she is safe at all times, whether in my care or the care of others. I take that commitment seriously and I thank the staff at Avonlee Lodge Pet Resort for taking that commitment seriously too.
Thankyou for taking good care of my Dolly and Dixie. They both were well and happy when I picked them up. I think Dixie would have stayed longer, she seemed to have had such a good time. I only leave my girls with Avonlee.

Judy is absolutely amazing, she loved our little poodle as her own and gave us daily updates and videos. Beach trips, daily walks with the other dogs and cuddles on the couch. I felt so secure knowing scout was loved so dearly while we were away. Couldn’t recommend her enough!
We are so happy to have found Judy at Happy Tails Byron Bay. We have 2 chihuahuas who can be very particular and fussy, one of them fear aggressive and the other a little on the nippy -feisty side and Judy handled them with ease and warmth. We loved getting the fun video updates when we were overseas- she clearly has a lovely way with dogs and we were very relaxed being away, knowing the dogs were so well looked after . I can't recommend Judy highly enough.

We have been using happy tails for a while now for our dog Kenny each time we go away. I used to get so much anxiety finding Kenny a reliable sitter until we found Judy. Kenny loves going to stay with Judy and runs into her place excited to play with his doggie pals. She sends regular updates and also clips his nails which we really appreciate as struggle to do ourselves. He comes home exhausted from a fun filled time and I’m sure he doesn’t miss us at all 😂
We wouldn’t just leave our guy, Reuben with just anyone but at Happy Tails, he’s treated like part of the family! He loves the interaction with the other pups and he totally loves his cuddles with Judy and Dave. We never have to worry about anything, although sometimes we wonder if he wants to come home again! Having big cousin Vinny to hang out with is a definite bonus, too. Best doggy day care ever!

Judy was an angel heaven sent at very short notice after we were told our pup wasn’t welcome at our accommodation. Our Bear was still just a puppy but in Judy’s hands he was well behaved and loved being part of Judy’s “pack”. 100% recommend to all! Thank you Judy.
Judy was so lovely to our 2 year old spoodle Oakie for day and overnight care! She fit us in with late notice when we wanted to do some dog free activities on our honeymoon in Byron. When my partner and I started planning for a week overseas, we turned to Happy Tails to care for our girl, Poppy. She’d been to Doggie Day Care at their place a few times, and we loved the attention they gave each dog, the full access they allowed them to their dog-friendly property, and of course the impressive the pack walks. During her stay, we got daily updates, pics and videos, on Poppy’s mood, activities and play with the other pups—putting our minds at ease. We’re confident she enjoyed her time with Dave and Judy, and are sure she’ll look forward to staying with them again.
I was so so happy with Judy minding my beloved greyhound, Perriwinkle. Its a gorgeous location and so peaceful, being set in rain forest only 8 minutes from Byron with dogs lying around on the deck on daybeds. Very sweet. Perriwinkle settled in beautifully and Judy kindly sent me texts with photos of my dog who had settled in beautifully the first and second days. I wouldf highly recommend Happy Tails of Byron and so prefer to the idea of an impersonal kennel somewhere as my dog was obviously loved and pampered as she was very relaxed when i collected her.
